1Chemical composition of PM_(2.5) during winter in Tianjin,China显示文摘PM2.5 samples for 24 h were collected during winter in Tianjin,China. The ambient mass concentration and chemical composition of the PM2.5 were determined. Ionic species were analyzed by ion chromatog-raphy,while carbonaceous species were determined with the IMPROVE thermal optical reectance(TOR) method,and inorganic elements were measured by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spec-trometer. The daily PM2.5 mass concentrations ranged from 48.2 to 319.2 g/m3 with an arithmetic average of 144.6 g/m3. The elevated PM2.5 in winter was mostly attributed to combustion sources such as vehicle exhaust,heating,cooking and industrial emissions,low wind speeds and high relative humidity(RH) ,which were favorable for pollutant accumulation and formation of secondary pollutants. By chem-ical mass balance,it was estimated that about 89.1% of the PM2.5 mass concentrations were explained by carbonaceous species,secondary particles,crustal matters,sea salt and trace elements. Organic material was the largest contributor,accounting for about 32.7% of the total PM2.5 mass concentrations. 2Fractional differential approach to detecting textural features of digital image and its fractional differential filter implementation显示文摘This paper mainly discusses fractional differential approach to detecting textural features of digital image and its fractional differential filter. Firstly,both the geometric meaning and the kinetic physical meaning of fractional differential are clearly explained in view of information theory and kinetics,respectively. Secondly,it puts forward and discusses the definitions and theories of fractional stationary point,fractional equilibrium coefficient,fractional stable coefficient,and fractional grayscale co-occurrence matrix. At the same time,it particularly discusses fractional grayscale co-occurrence matrix approach to detecting textural features of digital image. Thirdly,it discusses in detail the structures and parameters of n×n any order fractional differential mask on negative x-coordinate,positive x-coordinate,negative y-coordinate,positive y-coordinate,left downward diagonal,left upward diagonal,right downward diagonal,and right upward diagonal,respectively. Furthermore,it discusses the numerical implementation algorithms of fractional differential mask for digital image. Lastly,based on the above-mentioned discussion,it puts forward and discusses the theory and implementation of fractional differential filter for digital image. 4Tai Ji Quan as antihypertensive lifestyle therapy:A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background:Professional health organizations are not currently recommending Tai Ji Quan alongside aerobic exercise to treat hypertension.We aimed to examine the efficacy of Tai Ji Quan as antihypertensive lifestyle therapy.Methods:Tai Ji Quan interventions published in English and Chinese were included when they involved healthy adults,reported pre-and postintervention blood pressure(BP),and had a non-exercise/non-diet control group.We systematically searched 11 electronic databases for studies published through July 31,2018,yielding 31 qualifying controlled trials.We(1)evaluated the risk of bias and methodological study quality,(2)performed meta-regression analyses following random-effects assumptions,and(3)generated additive models representing the largest possible clinically relevant BP reductions.Results:Participants(n=3223)were middle-aged(56.6±15.1 years of age,mean±SD)adults with prehypertension(systolic BP(SBP)=136.9±15.2 mmHg,diastolic BP(DBP)=83.4±8.7 mmHg).Tai Ji Quan was practiced 4.0±1.4 sessions/week for 54.0§10.6 min/session for 22.3±20.2 weeks.Overall,Tai Ji Quan elicited significant reductions in SBP(-11.3 mmHg,95%CI:-14.6 to-8.0;d+=-0.75)and DBP(-4.8 mmHg,95%CI:-6.4 to-3.1;d+=-0.53)vs.control(p<0.001).Controlling for publication bias among samples with hypertension,Tai Ji Quan trials published in English elicited SBP reductions of 10.4 mmHg and DBP reductions of 4.0 mmHg,which was half the magnitude of trials published in Chinese(SBP reductions of 18.6 mmHg and DBP reductions of 8.8 mmHg).Conclusion:Our results indicate that Tai Ji Quan is a viable antihypertensive lifestyle therapy that produces clinically meaningful BP reductions(i.e.,10.4 mmHg and 4.0 mmHg of SBP and DBP reductions,respectively)among individuals with hypertension.Such magnitude of BP reductions can lower the incidence of cardiovascular disease by up to 40%.Yin Wu Blair T.Johnson Shiqi Chen Yiyang Chen Jill Livingston Linda S.Pescatello 2021Journal of Sport and Health Science2021,10,2:11
5Parametric analyses on dynamic stall control of rotor airfoil via synthetic jet显示文摘The effects of synthetic jet control on unsteady dynamic stall over rotor airfoil are investigated numerically. A moving-embedded grid method and an Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS) solver coupled with k-x Shear Stress Transport(SST) turbulence model are established for predicting the complex flowfields of oscillatory airfoil under jet control. Additionally, a velocity boundary condition modeled by sinusoidal function has been developed to fulfill the perturbation effect of periodic jet. The validity of present CFD method is evaluated by comparisons of the calculated results of baseline dynamic stall case for rotor airfoil and jet control case for VR-7 B airfoil with experimental data. Then, parametric analyses are conducted emphatically for an OA212 rotor airfoil to investigate the effects of jet control parameters(jet location, dimensionless frequency, momentum coefficient, jet angle, jet type and dual-jet) on dynamic stall characteristics of rotor airfoil. It is demonstrated by the calculated results that efficiency of jet control could be improved with specific momentum coefficient and jet angle when the jet is located near separation point of rotor airfoil. Furthermore, the dual-jet could improve control efficiency more obviously on dynamic stall of rotor airfoil with respect to the unique jet, and the influence laws of dual-jet's angles and momentum coefficients on control effects are similar to those of the unique jet. Finally,unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of rotor via synthetic jet which is located on the upper surface of rotor blade in forward flight are calculated, and as a result, the aerodynamic characteristics of rotor are improved compared with the baseline. 7Two possible hydrothermal vents in the northern Okinawa Trough显示文摘As the Okinawa Trough is a back-arc basin in early spreading, modern submarine hydrothermal activity and minerallization have many characteristics which have aroused wide attention. Up to now, three well-known hydro-thermal venting areas are all located in the middle part of the trough. During two cruise investigations to map and sample the seafloor, numbers of Calyptogena sp. shells were dredged at two sites in the northern trough with comparatively thicker crust and numerous submarine volcanoes. Based on the fact that Calyptogena sp. is only observed around the hydrothermal vents and lives on hydrothermal activities, it is predicted that there is the possibility of modern hydrothermal activities in the northern part of the trough. In this note, the shell is carefully characterized and the sample locations with possible hydrothermal activity are given. 8Targeting BMI-1-mediated epitheliale-mesenchymal transition to inhibit colorectal cancer liver metastasis显示文摘Liver is the most common metastatic site for colorectal cancer(CRC),there is no satisfied approach to treat CRC liver metastasis(CRCLM).Here,we investigated the role of a polycomb protein BMI-1 in CRCLM.Immunohistochemical analysis showed that BMI-1 expression in liver metastases was upregulated and associated with T4 stage,invasion depth and right-sided primary tumor.Knockdown BMI-1 in high metastatic HCT116 and LOVO cells repressed the migratory/invasive phenotype and reversed epithelialemesenchymal transition(EMT),while BMI-1 overexpression in low metastatic Ls174 T and DLD1 cells enhanced invasiveness and EMT.The effects of BMI-1 in CRC cells were related to upregulating snail via AKT/GSK-3βpathway.Furthermore,knockdown BMI-1 in HCT116 and LOVO cells reduced CRCLM using experimental liver metastasis mice model.Meanwhile,BMI-1 overexpression in Ls174 T and DLD1 significantly increased CRCLM.Moreover,sodium butyrate,a histone deacetylase and BMI-1 inhibitor,reduced HCT116 and LOVO liver metastasis in immunodeficient mice.Our results suggest that BMI-1 is a major regulator of CRCLM and provide a potent molecular target for CRCLM treatment.Zhiyao Xu Zhuha Zhou Jing Zhang Feichao Xuan Mengjing Fan Difan Zhou Zhenyu Liuyang Ximei Ma Yiyang Hong Yihong Wang Sherven Sharma Qinghua Dong Guanyu Wang 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,5:8

10Multi target pigs tracking loss correction algorithm based on Faster R-CNN显示文摘In order to solve the problem that target tracking frames are lost during the visual tracking of pigs,this research proposed an algorithm for multi target pigs tracking loss correction based on Faster R-CNN.The video of live pigs was processed by Faster R-CNN to get the object bounding box.Then,the SURF and background difference method were combined to predict whether the target pig will be occluded in the next frame.According to the occlusion condition,the maximum value of the horizontal and vertical coordinate offset of the bounding box in the adjacent two frames of the frame image in continuous N(N is the value of the video frame rate)were calculated.When bounding boxes in a video frame are merged into one bounding box,this maximum value was used to correct the current tracking frame offset in order to achieve the purpose of solving the tracking target loss problem.The experiment results showed that the success rate range of RP Faster-RCNN in the data set was 80%-97% while in term of Faster-RCNN was 40%-85%.And the average center point error of RP Faster-RCNN was 1.46 lower than Faster-RCNN which was about 2.60.The new algorithm was characterized by good robustness and adaptability,which could solve the problem of missing tracking target and accurately track multiple targets when the targets occlude each other.Longqing Sun Yuanbing Zou Yan Li Zhengda Cai Yue Li Bing Luo Yan Liu Yiyang Li 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,5:7
11Individual pig object detection algorithm based on Gaussian mixture model显示文摘The background models are crucially important for the object extraction for moving objects detection in a video.The Gaussian mixture model(GMM)is one of popular methods in the background models.Gaussian mixture model which applied to the pig target detection has some shortcomings such as low efficiency of algorithm,misjudgment points and ghosts.This study proposed an improved algorithm based on adaptive Gaussian mixture model,to overcome the deficiencies of the traditional Gaussian mixture model in pig object detection.Based on Gaussian mixture background model,this paper introduced two new parameters of video frames m and T0.The Gaussian distribution was scanned once every m frames,the excessive Gaussian distribution was deleted to improve the convergence speed of the model.Meanwhile,using different learning rates to suppress ghosts,a higher decreasing learning rate was adopted to accelerate the background modeling before T_(0),the background model would become stable as the time continued and a smaller learning rate could be used.In order to maintain a stable background and reduce noise interference,a fixed learning rate after T_(0) was used.Results of experiments indicated that this algorithm could quickly build the initial background model,detect the moving target pigs,and extract the complete contours of the target pigs’.The algorithm is characterized by good robustness and adaptability.Li Yiyang Sun Longqing Zou Yuanbing Li Yue 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,5:6
12Thermal Modeling and Management of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells Operating with Internally Reformed Methane显示文摘A detailed three-dimensional mechanistic model of a large-scale solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) unit running on partially pre-reformed methane is developed. The model considers the coupling effects of chemical and electrochemical reactions, mass transport, momentum and heat transfer in the SOFC unit. After model validation, parametric simulations are conducted to investigate how the methane pre-reforming ratio affects the transport and electrochemistry of the SOFC unit. It is found that the methane steam reforming reaction has a 'smoothing effect', which can achieve more uniform distributions of gas compositions, current density and temperature among the cell plane. In the case of 1500 W/m^2 power density output, adding 20% methane absorbs 50% of internal heat production inside the cell, reduces the maximum temperature difference inside the cell from 70 K to 22 K and reduces the cathode air supply by 75%, compared to the condition of completely pre-reforming of methane. 13Aluminum-Enhanced Proton Release Associated with Plasma Membrane H^+-Adenosine Triphosphatase Activity and Excess Cation Uptake in Tea (Camellia sinensis) Plant Roots显示文摘Cultivated tea(Camellia sinensis) plants acidify the rhizosphere, and Aluminum(Al) toxicity is recognized as a major limiting factor for plant growth in acidic soils. However, the mechanisms responsible for rhizosphere acidification associated with Al have not been fully elucidated. The present study examined the effect of Al on root-induced rhizosphere acidification, plasma membrane H^+-adenosine triphosphatase(H^+-ATPase) activity, and cation-anion balance in tea plant roots. The exudation of H^+from tea plant roots with or without Al treatment was visualized using an agar sheet with bromocresol purple. The H^+-ATPase activity of plasma membranes isolated from the roots was measured after hydrolysis using the two-phase partition system. The Al treatment strongly enhanced the exudation of H^+, and the acidification of tea plant roots by Al was closely associated with plasma membrane H^+-ATPase activity. The root plasma membrane H^+-ATPase activity increased with Al concentration. The Al content, amount of protons released, and H^+-ATPase activity were significantly higher in roots treated with Al than in those untreated. The results of the cation-anion balance in roots showed an excess of cations relative to anions, with the amount of excess cation uptake increasing with increasing Al concentrations. These suggest that Al-enhanced proton release is associated with plasma membrane H^+-ATPase activity and excess cation uptake. 14Energy Efficiency and Spectrum Efficiency in Underlay Device-to-Device Communications Enabled Cellular Networks显示文摘In this paper, we investigate the energy efficiency and spectrum efficiency, including one-hop device-to-device(D2D) communications mode and two-way amplify-and-forward(AF) relaying D2D communications mode in underlay D2D communications enabled cellular networks. An analysis of average energy efficiency and spectrum efficiency are developed and closed-form expressions are obtained for two types of D2D communications modes under the effect of Rayleigh fading channel, path loss, and co-channel interference. Analytical results are validated through numerical simulations. Based on the simulation, the effects of the interference, the distance between D2D pair and the position of relay node on the energy efficiency and spectrum efficiency of D2D communications are investigated. 15Beamforming and Interference Cancellation for D2D Communication Assisted by Two-Way Decode-and-Forward Relay Node显示文摘This paper investigates the device-to-device(D2D) communication underlaying cellular network assisted by a two-way decode-and-forward relay node. We assume the base station(BS) is equipped with M-antenna and serves its own cellular user while the D2D users communicate via a two-way decode-and-forward relay node. Both beamforming(BF) and interference cancellation(IC) strategies at the BS are considered to improve the performance for the cellular link and D2D link, respectively. We first analyze the received signal-to-interference-plus-noise for the cellular link under BF and IC strategies and then derive the exact closed-form expressions for the cellular link. Asymmetric and symmetric cases are discussed for various locations of each user. Finally, the approximations for high signal-to-noise regime are also presented. 16Sialic acid-engineered mesoporous polydopamine nanoparticles loaded with SPIO and Fe3+as a novel theranostic agent for T1/T2 dual-mode MRI-guided combined chemo-photothermal treatment of hepatic cancer显示文摘diagnostic and therapeutic capability are highly needed for the treatment of hepatic cancer.Herein,we aimed to develop a novel mesoporous polydopamine(MPDA)-based theranostic agent for T1/T2 dual magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-guided cancer chemo-photothermal therapy.Superparamagnetic iron oxide(SPIO)-loaded MPDA NPs(MPDA@SPIO)was firstly prepared,followed by modifying with a targeted molecule of sialic acid(SA)and chelating with Fe^(3+)(SA-MPDA@SPIO/Fe^(3+) NPs).After that,doxorubicin(DOX)-loaded SA-MPDA@SPIO/Fe^(3+) NPs(SA-MPDA@SPIO/DOX/Fe^(3+))was prepared for tumor theranostics.The prepared SAPEG-MPDA@SPIO/Fe^(3+) NPs were water-dispersible and biocompatible as evidenced by MTT assay.In vitro photothermal and relaxivity property suggested that the novel theranostic agent possessed excellent photothermal conversion capability and photostability,with relaxivity of being r1=4.29 mM��1s��1 and r2=105.53 mM��1s��1,respectively.SAPEG-MPDA@SPIO/Fe^(3+) NPs could effectively encapsulate the DOX,showing dual pH-and thermal-triggered drug release behavior.In vitro and in vivo studies revealed that SA-MPDA@SPIO/DOX/Fe^(3+) NPs could effectively target to the hepatic tumor tissue,which was possibly due to the specific interaction between SA and the overexpressed E-selectin.This behavior also endowed SA-MPDA@SPIO/DOX/Fe^(3+)NPs with a more precise T1-T2 dual mode contrast imaging effect than the one without SA modification.In addition,SAPEG-MPDA@SPIO/DOX/Fe^(3+) NPs displayed a superior therapeutic effect,which was due to its active targeting ability and combined effects of chemotherapy and photothermal therapy.These results demonstrated that SAPEG-MPDA@SPIO/DOX/Fe^(3+) NPs is an effective targeted nanoplatform for tumor theranostics,having potential value in the effective treatment of hepatic cancer.Gaofeng Shu Minjiang Chen Jingjing Song Xiaoling Xu Chenying Lu Yuyin Du Min Xu Zhongwei Zhao Minxia Zhu Kai Fan Xiaoxi Fan Shiji Fang Bufu Tang Yiyang Dai Yongzhong Du Jiansong Ji 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,5:4

18Real-time dynamics of soliton triplets in fiber lasers显示文摘The evolution of soliton molecules emphasizes the complex soliton dynamics akin to matter molecules.Beyond the simplest soliton molecule-a soliton pair constituted by two bound pulses-soliton molecules with more constituents have more degrees of freedom because of the temporal pulse separations and relative phases.Here we detailedly characterize the transient dynamics of soliton triplets in fiber lasers by using the dispersive Fourier transform measurement.A particular form of leading,central,and tailing pulses is constructed to shed new light on more intriguing scenarios and fuel the molecular analogy.Especially the vibrating dynamics of the central and tailing pulses are captured near the regime of equally spaced soliton triplets,which is reminiscent of the recurrent timing jitters within multi-pulse structures.Further insights enable acess into a universal form of unequally spaced soliton triplets interpreted as 2+1 soliton molecules.Different binding strengths of intramo-lecular and intermolecular bonds are validated with respect to the diverse internal motions involved in this soliton triplet molcule.All these findings unveil the transient dynamics with more degrees of freedom as well as highlight the possible application for all-optical bit storage.YIYANG LUO RAN XIA PERRY PING SHUM WENJUN NI YUSONG LIU HUY QUOC LAM QIZHEN SUN XIAHUI TANG LUMING ZHAO 2020Photonics Research2020,8,6:3
19A novel biodegradable Mg-1Zn-0.5Sn alloy:Mechanical properties,corrosion behavior,biocompatibility,and antibacterial activity显示文摘To meet the growing demand for antibacterial implants for bone-implant-associated infection therapy and avoid the adverse effects of secondary surgery,a degradable platform with pH responsiveness and ion-associated antibacterial properties was constructed.A small amount of Sn added to Mg-1Zn alloy reduces the biocorrosion rate,which can be attributed to Sn participation in outer-layer film formation,significantly reducing the biocorrosion rate and hydrogen evolution rate after implantation in vivo.These Mg alloys,which are susceptible to degradation in the acidic bacterial microenvironment,degrade by releasing Mg,Zn and Sn,producing favorably alkaline and antibacterial conditions.Samples with the composition of Mg-1Zn-0.5Sn were found to be beneficial for promoting initial cell adhesion and proliferation,resulting in improved biocompatibility and biosafety.The biocompatibility of this alloy was confirmed by the healthy behavior of animals and the absence of acute or chronic toxicity in the liver,spleen,and kidneys.Our results demonstrate that Mg-1Zn-0.5Sn is safe for biological systems,enabling its efficacious use in biomedical applications.Weikang Zhao Jingfeng Wang Jiang Weiyang Bo Qiao Yiyang Wang Yuling Li Dianming Jiang 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,2:3
20HIV/AIDS-related Discrimination in Shanxi Rural Areas of China1显示文摘Objective In order to explore the features of discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS in rural areas, a community-based intervention was carried out in two pilot communities of X County of Shanxi Province from September 2002 to October 2003. Methods Data were collected using qualitative methods (in-depth interview and focus group discussion) and anonymously structured questionnaires. Results (1) Severe discrimination against people infected with HIV/AIDS was revealed in the target communities. However, the response to HIV/AIDS was different in each community. (2) People were reluctant to disclose their HIV status or get tested for HIV, which endangered their sexual partners to contract HIV through unprotected sexual intercourses. (3) Attitudes towards people infected with HIV/AIDS varied. (4) Public education promoted a better understanding of HIV/AIDS which in turn improved community attitudes and behaviors towards people with HIV/AIDS.
