1Anthropogenic emission inventories in China:a review显示文摘The development of reliable anthropogenic emission inventories is essential for both understanding the sources of air pollution and designing effective air-pollution-control measures in China. However, it is challenging to quantify emissions in China accurately, given the variety of contributing sources, the complexity of the technology mix and the lack of reliable measurements. Over the last two decades,tremendous efforts have been made to improve the accuracy of emission inventories, and significant improvements have been realized. More reliable statistics and survey-based data have been used to reduce the uncertainties in activity rates and technology distributions. Local emission factors and source profiles covering various sources have been measured and reported. Based on these local databases, improved emission inventory models have been developed for power plants, large industrial plants and the residential,transportation and agricultural sectors. In this paper, we review the progress that has been made in developing inventories of anthropogenic emissions in China. We first highlight the major updates that have been made to emission inventory models and the underlying data by source category. We then summarize the sector-based estimates of emissions of different species contained in current inventories. The progress that has been made in the development of model-ready emissions is also presented. 3Early kidney injury during long-term adefovir dipivoxil therapy for chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM: To evaluate urine β2-microglobulin(β2-M), retinol-binding protein(RBP) excretion, and renal impairment with adefovir dipivoxil(ADV) for chronic hepatitis B. METHODS: We enrolled 165 patients with chronic hepatitis B infection who were treated with ADV monotherapy(n = 90) or ADV plus lamivudine combination therapy(n = 75). An additional 165 chronic hepatitis B patients treated with entecavir were recruited as controls. We detected serum creatinine, urine β2-M, and RBP levels, and estimated the glomerular filtration rate(e GFR) at the initiation of antiviral therapy and every 6 mo for a period of five years. RESULTS: Urine β2-M abnormalities were observed in patients during the first(n = 3), second(n = 7), third(n = 11), fourth(n = 16), and fifth(n = 21) year of ADV treatment. Urinary RBP abnormalities were observed in patients during the first(n = 2), second(n = 8), third(n = 12), fourth(n = 15), and fifth(n = 22) year of ADV treatment. e GFR decreased 20%-30% from baseline in 20 patients, 30%-50% in 12 patients, and > 50% in 3 patients during the five years of treatment. Further analysis indicated that decreases in e GFR of ≥ 30% relative to the baseline level correlated significantly with urine RBP and β2-M abnormalities. In contrast, both serum creatinine and e GFR remained stable in patients treated with entecavir, and only one of these patients developed a urine β2-M abnormality, and two developed urine RBP abnormalities during the five years of treatment. 7The Prevalence of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and its Association with Lifestyle/dietary Habits among University Faculty and Staff in Chengdu显示文摘Objective To investigate the prevalence of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) in different university categories and its association with lifestyle/dietary habits.Methods A cross-sectional study was carried out on 9 378 faculty members and staff who participated in an annual health checkup at three universities selected by random cluster sampling.Demographic,anthropometric,biochemical indices and abdominal ultrasound measurements were collected.A nested case-control study was conducted with 200 NAFLD cases and 200 controls matched by gender,age(±3 years),and university.Results The overall prevalence of NAFLD was 10.3%(13.7% in males and 6.8% in females).The prevalence was significantly higher in the science and engineering university(22.1%) than in the comprehensive universities with(6.4%) and without(10.9%) medical colleges.Obesity/overweight,hyperlipidemia,diabetes mellitus,and family history of NAFLD were independently associated with higher risk of NAFLD,as were frequent consumption of desserts and salty/spicy foods.Using nutritional supplements was a protective factor against NAFLD.Intake of coarse cereals,potatoes,vegetables,fruits,and milk was significantly lower,and intake of red meat,viscera,candies and pastries,cooking oil,and total energy was significantly higher in participants with NAFLD than in controls.Conclusion Science and engineering university faculty and staff are key targets for NAFLD prevention.NAFLD is closely associated with age,gender,university type,metabolic diseases,and lifestyle/dietary habits.SHI Lei LIU Zhong Wu LI Yun GONG Cai ZHANG Huan SONG Li Juan HUANG Cheng Yu LI Ming 2012Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2012,25,4:16
8Behavior of Mold Slag Used for 20Mn23Al Nonmagnetic Steel During Casting显示文摘Because of the addition of significant quantities of aluminum and manganese,the great challenge of casting 20Mn23Al nonmagnetic steel is to design a mold slag that is chemically compatible with this steel composition.A new mold slag with low melting point and low basicity was proposed.The initial slag(the base mold slag)and two corresponding mold slags sampled after 8 min and 15 min were investigated,and the changes of mold slag composition and properties of molten slag were discussed.The results showed that the slag quickly changed in chemical composition to a slag that contained a small quantity of silica and a larger quantity of alumina,and the basicity increased obviously;the heat flux density through the slag film decreased slightly compared with the slag film at 0 min,8 min and 15 min;the mold slag used for nonmagnetic steel was precipitated as CaF2 crystals.The casting experiment shows that the slab has good surface quality without longitudinal face cracks and slag inclusions;the Al2O3 content in the molten slag pool increased with time at the beginning stage,and it can approach equilibrium state after about 600 s.YU Xiong WEN Guang-hua TANG Ping MA Fan-jun WANG Huan 2011Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2011,18,1:15
9Evolution of boundary layer ozone in Shijiazhuang,a suburban site on the North China Plain显示文摘The structure of the boundary layer affects the evolution of ozone(O3), and research into this structure will provide important insights for understanding photochemical pollution.In this study, we conducted a one-month observation(from June 15 to July 14, 2016) of the boundary layer meteorological factors as well as O3 and its precursors in Luancheng County,Shijiazhuang(37°53′N, 114°38′E). Our research showed that photochemical pollution in Shijiazhuang is serious, and the mean hourly maximum and mean 8-hr maximum O3 concentrations are 97.9 ± 26.1 and 84.4 ± 22.4 ppbV, respectively. Meteorological factors play a significant role in the formation of O3. High temperatures and southeasterly winds lead to elevated O3 values, and at moderate relative humidity(40%–50%) and medium boundary layer heights(1200–1500 m), O3 production sensitivity occurred in the transitional region between volatile organic compounds(VOC) and nitrogen oxides(NOx) limitations,and the O3 concentration was the highest. The vertical profiles of O3 were also measured by a tethered balloon. The results showed that a large amount of O3 was stored in the residual layer, and the concentration was positively correlated with the O3 concentration measured the previous day. 10Integrating TM and Ancillary Geographical Data with Classification Trees for Land Cover Classification of Marsh Area显示文摘The main objective of this research is to determine the capacity of land cover classification combining spec- tral and textural features of Landsat TM imagery with ancillary geographical data in wetlands of the Sanjiang Plain, Heilongjiang Province, China. Semi-variograms and Z-test value were calculated to assess the separability of grey-level co-occurrence texture measures to maximize the difference between land cover types. The degree of spatial autocorrelation showed that window sizes of 3×3 pixels and 11×11 pixels were most appropriate for Landsat TM im- age texture calculations. The texture analysis showed that co-occurrence entropy, dissimilarity, and variance texture measures, derived from the Landsat TM spectrum bands and vegetation indices provided the most significant statistical differentiation between land cover types. Subsequently, a Classification and Regression Tree (CART) algorithm was applied to three different combinations of predictors: 1) TM imagery alone (TM-only); 2) TM imagery plus image texture (TM+TXT model); and 3) all predictors including TM imagery, image texture and additional ancillary GIS in- formation (TM+TXT+GIS model). Compared with traditional Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC) supervised classification, three classification trees predictive models reduced the overall error rate significantly. Image texture measures and ancillary geographical variables depressed the speckle noise effectively and reduced classification error rate of marsh obviously. For classification trees model making use of all available predictors, omission error rate was 12.90% and commission error rate was 10.99% for marsh. 11Masked Sentence Model Based on BERT for Move Recognition in Medical Scientific Abstracts显示文摘Purpose:Mo ve recognition in scientific abstracts is an NLP task of classifying sentences of the abstracts into different types of language units.To improve the performance of move recognition in scientific abstracts,a novel model of move recognition is proposed that outperforms the BERT-based method.Design/methodology/approach:Prevalent models based on BERT for sentence classification often classify sentences without considering the context of the sentences.In this paper,inspired by the BERT masked language model(MLM),we propose a novel model called the masked sentence model that integrates the content and contextual information of the sentences in move recognition.Experiments are conducted on the benchmark dataset PubMed 20K RCT in three steps.Then,we compare our model with HSLN-RNN,BERT-based and SciBERT using the same dataset.Findings:Compared with the BERT-based and SciBERT models,the F1 score of our model outperforms them by 4.96%and 4.34%,respectively,which shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the novel model and the result of our model comes closest to the state-of-theart results of HSLN-RNN at present.Research limitations:The sequential features of move labels are not considered,which might be one of the reasons why HSLN-RNN has better performance.Our model is restricted to dealing with biomedical English literature because we use a dataset from PubMed,which is a typical biomedical database,to fine-tune our model.Practical implications:The proposed model is better and simpler in identifying move structures in scientific abstracts and is worthy of text classification experiments for capturing contextual features of sentences.Originality/value:T he study proposes a masked sentence model based on BERT that considers the contextual features of the sentences in abstracts in a new way.The performance of this classification model is significantly improved by rebuilding the input layer without changing the structure of neural networks.Gaihong Yu Zhixiong Zhang Huan Liu Liangping Ding 2019Journal of Data and Information Science2019,4,4:14

15Identification of a Newly Isolated Getah Virus in the China-Laos Border,China显示文摘In this study, we isolated a virus strain(YN12031) from specimens of Armigeres subalbatus collected in the China-Laos border. BHK-21 cells infected with YN12031 exhibited an evident cytopathic effect(CPE) 32 h post-infection. The virus particles were spherical, 70 nm in diameter, and enveloped; they also featured surface fibers. Molecular genetic analysis revealed that YN12031 was closely related to alpha viruses such as Chikungunya virus and Sindbis virus, and located in the same clade as MM2021, the prototype of Getahvirus(GETV) isolated in Malaysia in 1955. Phylogenetic analysis of the E2 and capsid genes further revealed that YN12031 was located in the same clade as the Russian isolate LEIV/16275/Mag. Analysis of the homology of nucleotides and amino acids in the coding area and E2 gene demonstrated that the YN12031 isolated from the China-Laos border(tropical region) was related closest to the LEIV/16275/Mag isolate obtained in Russia(North frigid zone area) among other isolates studied. These results suggest that GETV can adapt to different geographical environments to propagate and evolve. 16Dynamic immune profiling identifies the stronger graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effects with haploidentical allografts compared to HLA-matched stem cell transplantation显示文摘Haploidentical stem cell transplantation(haplo-SCT)achieves superior or at least comparable clinical outcomes to HLA-matched sibling donor transplantation(MSDT)in treating hematological malignancies.To define the underlying regulatory dynamics,we analyzed time courses of leukemia burden and immune abundance of haplo-SCT or MSDT from multiple dimension.First,we employed two nonirradiated leukemia mouse models which carried human AML-ETO or MLL-AF9 fusion gene to establish haplo-identical and major histocompatibility(MHC)-matched transplantation models and investigated the immune cell dynamic response during leukemia development in vivo.We found that haplo-matching the MHCs of leukemia cells with recipient mouse T cells prolonged leukemic mice survival and reduced leukemia burden.The stronger graft-versus-leukemia activity in haplo-SCT group mainly induced by decreased apoptosis and increased cytotoxic cytokine secretion including tumor necrosis factor–α,interferon-γ,pore-forming proteins and CD107a secreted by T cells or natural killer cells.Furthermore,we conducted a prospective clinical trial which enrolled 135 patients with t(8;21)acute myeloid leukemia that displayed minimal residual disease before transplantation and underwent either haplo-SCT or MSDT.The results showed that the haplo-SCT slowed the kinetics of the leukemia burden in vivo and reduced the cumulative incidence of relapse compared with MSDT.Ex vivo experiments showed that,1 year after transplantation,cytotoxic T lymphocytes from the haplo-SCT group had higher cytotoxicity than those from the MSDT group during the same period.Our results unraveled the role of immune cells in superior antileukemia effects of haplo-SCT compared with MSDT.Huidong Guo Ying-Jun Chang Yan Hong Lan-Ping Xu Yu Wang Xiao-Hui Zhang Ming Wang Huan Chen Yu-Hong Chen Feng-Rong Wang Wei-Han Yu-Qian Sun Chen-Hua Yan Fei-Fei Tang Xiao-Dong Mo Kai-Yan Liu Xiao-Jun Huang 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,5:11

20TaqMan Real-time RT-PCR Assay for Detecting and Differentiating Japanese Encephalitis Virus显示文摘Objective To detect Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV) rapidly and distinguish its genotypes, a TaqMan-based reverse transcriptase quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) detection system was developed.Methods By aligning the full-length sequences of JEV(G1-G5), six sets of highly specific TaqMan real-time RT-PCR primers and probes were designed based on the highly conserved NS1, NS2, and M genes of JEV, which included one set for non-specific JEV detection and five sets for the detection of specific JEV genotypes. Twenty batches of mosquito samples were used to evaluate our quantitative PCR assay.Results With the specific assay, no other flavivirus were detected. The lower limits of detection of the system were 1 pfu/mL for JEV titers and 100 RNA copies/μL. The coefficients of variation of this real-time RT-PCR were all < 2.8%.
