| 1 | PD-L1 expression and its effect on clinical outcomes of EGFRmutant NSCLC patients treated with EGFR-TKIs显示文摘Objective:Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)activation was reported to upregulate programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)expression in lung cancer cells and subsequently contribute to immune escape,indicating its critical role in EGFR-driven lung tumors.This study characterized PD-L1 expression in patients with surgically resected EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).The effect of PD-L1 expression on clinical outcomes was also investigated in advanced EGFR-mutant NSCLC treated with EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs).Methods:In total,73 patients with surgically resected NSCLC and EGFR mutations were identified.PD-L1 expression and CD8+tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte(TIL)density were assessed by immunohistochemistry.A literature review of publications that assessed the predictive and prognostic value of PD-L1 expression in advanced EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients treated with EGFR-TKIs was performed.Results:Nineteen(26.0%)patients were positive for PD-L1 expression,which was significantly associated with concomitant KRAS mutation(P=0.020)and marginally associated with higher CD8+TILs density(P=0.056).Positive PD-L1 expression was associated with markedly inferior overall survival(OS)in multivariate analysis(P=0.032).The combination of PD-L1 and CD8+TILs expression could be used to stratify the population into three groups with distinct prognoses.A meta-analysis of six publications showed that positive PD-L1 expression was not associated with OS[hazard ratio(HR)=0.90;95%confidence interval(CI),0.42–1.38]or progression-free survival(HR=1.03;95 CI,0.73–1.33)in advanced EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients receiving EGFR-TKIs.Conclusions:PD-L1 expression tended to correlate with CD8+TIL expression,concomitant KRAS mutation,and poor survival in surgically resected EGFR-mutant NSCLC.PD-L1 expression was neither the predictive nor the prognostic factor in advanced EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients treated with EGFR-TKIs. | Yuchen Bai Xiaoxia Chen Likun Hou Jun Qian Tao Jiang Caicun Zhou Maciej Ciebiada | 2018 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2018,15,4: | 5 |

| 3 | Hybrid piezo/triboelectric nanogenerator for stray magnetic energy harvesting and self‐powered sensing applications显示文摘Stray magnetic fields with a fixed frequency of 50/60 Hz are ubiquitous in buildings,factories,and power system equipment.Researchers are increasingly focusing on har-vesting electrical energy from stray magnetic fields to provide sustainable energy for the Internet of Things(IoT)devices.Magneto‐mechano‐electric energy conversion is the most efficient way to convert low‐frequency stray magnetic fields into electricity.In this study,we proposed a hybrid piezo/triboelectric nanogenerator(HP/TENG)on the basis of a cantilever beam to use stray magnetic fields from the surrounding environment.The hybrid nanogenerator provided high output voltage/current and power of∼176 V/375μA and 4.7 mW(matched impedance of 20 kΩ)in a magnetic field environment of 4 Oe.The device provided a stable 3.6 V direct current output by incorporating energy management circuitry to sustainably drive power to commercial wireless temperature/humidity sensors.The HP/TENG has a significant application potential in IoT,which can use stray magnetic energy and a power wireless sensor system. | Aijun Yang Chaoyu Wang Jing Ma Chengyu Fan Pinlei Lv Yuchen Bai Yiming Rong Xiaohua Wang Huan Yuan Mingzhe Rong | 2021 | High Voltage2021,6,6: | 0 |
| 4 | Treatment of secondary central nervous system involvement in systemic aggressive B cell lymphoma using R-MIADD chemotherapy:a single-center study显示文摘Background:Secondary central nervous system lymphoma(SCNSL)is defined as lymphoma involvement within the central nervous system(CNS)that originated elsewhere,or a CNS relapse of systemic lymphoma.Prognosis of SCNSL is poor and the most appropriate treatment is still undetermined.Methods:We conducted a retrospective study to assess the feasibility of an R-MIADD(rituximab,high-dose methotrexate,ifosfamide,cytarabine,liposomal formulation of doxorubicin,and dexamethasone)regimen for SCNSL patients.Results:Nineteen patients with newly diagnosed CNS lesions were selected,with a median age of 58(range 20 to 72)years.Out of 19 patients,11(57.9%)achieved complete remission(CR)and 2(10.5%)achieved partial remission(PR);the overall response rate was 68.4%.The median progression-free survival after CNS involvement was 28.0 months(95%confidence interval 11.0–44.9),and the median overall survival after CNS involvement was 34.5 months.Treatment-related death occurred in one patient(5.3%).Conclusions:These single-centered data underscore the feasibility of an R-MIADD regimen as the induction therapy of SCNSL,further investigation is warranted. | Yuchen Wu Xuefei Sun Xueyan Bai Jun Qian Hong Zhu Qu Cui Ruixian Xing Yuedan Chen Qing Liu Wenyuan Lai Junhong Li Yaming Wang Shengjun Sun Nan Ji Yuanbo Liu | 2021 | Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2021,7,2: | 0 |

| 6 | Coupling biomass pretreatment for enzymatic hydrolysis and direct biomass-to-electricity conversion with molybdovanadophosphoric heteropolyacids as anode electron transfer carriers显示文摘Owing to their acidity,oxidizing ability and redox reversibility,molybdovanadophosphoric heteropolyacids(H_(n+3)PMo_(12-n)VnO40,abbreviated as PMo_(12-n)Vn) were employed as electron transfer carriers for coupling biomass pretreatment for enzymatic hydrolysis and direct biomass-to-electricity conversion.In this novel coupled process,PMo_(12-n)Vn pretreatment that causes deconstruction of cell wall structure with PMo_(12-n)Vn being simultaneously reduced can be considered as the 'charging' process.The reduced PMo_(12-n)Vn are further re-oxidized with release of electrons in a liquid flow fuel cell(LFFC) to generate electricity is the 'discharging' process.Several Keggin-type PMo_(12-n)Vn with different degree of vanadium substitution(DSV, namely n) were prepared.Compared to Keggin-type phosphomolybdic acid(PMo_(12)),PMo_(12-n)Vn(n=1-6) showed higher oxidizing ability but poorer redox reversibility.The cellulose enzymatic digestibility of PMo_(12-n)Vn pretreated wheat straw generally decreased with increase in DSV, but xylan enzymatic digestibility generally increased with DSV.PMo_(12) pretreatment of wheat straw at 120℃ obtained the highest enzymatic glucan conversion(EGC) reaching 95%,followed by PMo11V1 pretreatment(85%).Discharging of the reduced heteropolyacids in LFFC showed that vanadium substitution could improve the maximum output power density(Pmax).The highest Pmax was obtained by PMo9 V3(44.7 mW/cm^(2)) when FeCl_(3) was used as a cathode electron carrier,while PMo_(12) achieved the lowest Pmax(27.4 mW/cm^(2)).All the heteropolyacids showed good electrode Faraday efficiency(>95%) and cell discharging efficiency(>93%).The energy efficiency of the coupled process based on the heat values of the products and generated electric energy was in the range of 18%-25% depending on DSV.PMo_(12) and PMo11V1 seem to be the most suitable heteropolyacids to mediate the coupled process. | Huishan Yang Yuchen Bai Denghao Ouyang Fangqian Wang Dehua Liu Xuebing Zhao | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7: | 0 |
| 7 | Volumetric Imaging of Neural Activity by Light Field Microscopy显示文摘Recording the highly diverse and dynamic activities in large populations of neurons in behaving animals is crucial for a better understanding of how the brain works.To meet this challenge,extensive efforts have been devoted to developing functional fluorescent indicators and optical imaging techniques to optically monitor neural activity.Indeed,optical imaging potentially has extremely high throughput due to its non-invasive access to large brain regions and capability to sample neurons at high density,but the readout speed,such as the scanning speed in two-photon scanning microscopy,is often limited by various practical considerations.Among different imaging methods,light field microscopy features a highly parallelized 3D fluorescence imaging scheme and therefore promises a novel and faster strategy for functional imaging of neural activity.Here,we briefly review the working principles of various types of light field microscopes and their recent developments and applications in neuroscience studies.We also discuss strategies and considerations of optimizing light field microscopy for different experimental purposes,with illustrative examples in imaging zebrafish and mouse brains. | Lu Bai Zhenkun Zhang Lichen Ye Lin Cong Yuchen Zhao Tianlei Zhang Ziqi Shi Kai Wang | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,12: | 0 |
