| 1 | Land subsidence monitoring by D-InSAR technique显示文摘Nowadays, the researches of using Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (D-InSAR) tech- nique to monitor the land subsidence are mainly on how to qualitatively analyze the subsidence areas and values, but the analysis of subsidence process and mechanism are insufficient. In order to resolve these problems, 6 scenes of ERS1/2 images captured during 1995 and 2000 in a certain place of Jiangsu province were selected to obtain the subsidence and velocities in three time segments by ''two-pass'' D- InSAR method. Then the relationships among distributions of pumping wells, exploitation quantity of groundwater, and confined water levels were studied and the subsidence mechanism was systematically analyzed. | 3 | Nonlinear short-term heart rate variability prediction of spontaneous ventricular tachyarrhythmia显示文摘As malign ventricular tachyarrhythmias triggering sudden cardiac death (SCD), both ventricular tachycardia (VT) and ventricular fibrillation (VF) are major causes of mortality. The most efficient ther- apy for SCD prevention is implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD). The ICD can accurately and ef- fectively identify the forthcoming of fatal ventricular tachyarrhythmias and deliver a shock in order to restore patients’ normal sinus rhythm. In this study, two nonlinear complexity measures based on en- tropy: approximate entropy (ApEn) and sample entropy (SampEn) as well as two time linear indices: the mean RR interval (the average of time intervals between consecutive R-waves) and the standard devia- tion of RR intervals were used for short-term forecasting of VT-VF occurrence. The last small sections of interbeat intervals preceding 135 VT-VF episodes from 78 patients stored by the ICD were analyzed and compared with individually acquired control time series (CON series) from the same patients, which are normally intrinsic sinus rhythms. The results demonstrate that in addition to an obvious in- crease in heart rates of the patients, the values of two entropy measures are significantly smaller for VT-VF episodes than those for CON series. Conclusions can be drawn that when a ventricular tach- yarrhythmia approaches, the sympathetic tone of the patients is increased, and the complexity of their RR intervals immediately before the onset of VT-VF events is obviously lower than that of RR intervals recorded during sinus rhythms. For a better separation, the optimal range of threshold r is determined for two algorithms. | 13 | Highly efficient and stable electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution by molybdenum doped Ni-Co phosphide nanoneedles at high current density显示文摘There is an increasingly urgent need to develop cost-effective electrocatalysts with high catalytic activity and stability as alternatives to the traditional Pt/C in catalysts in water electrolysis.In this study,microspheres composed of Mo-doped NiCoP nanoneedles supported on nickel foam were prepared to address this challenge.The results show that the nanoneedles provide sufficient active sites for efficient electron transfer;the small-sized effect and the micro-scale roughness enhance the entry of reactants and the release of hydrogen bubbles;the Mo doping effectively improves the electrocatalytic performance of NiCoP in alkaline media.The catalyst exhibits low hydrogen evolution overpotentials of 38.5 and 217.5 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and high current density of 500 mA·cm^(-2),respectively,and only 1.978 V is required to achieve a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2) for overall water splitting.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations show that the improved hydrogen evolution performance can be explained as a result of the Mo doping,which serves to reduce the interaction between NiCoP and intermediates,optimize the Gibbs free energy of hydrogen adsorption(△G_(*H)),and accelerate the desorption rate of *OH.This study provides a promising solution to the ongoing challenge of designing efficient electrocatalysts for high-current-density hydrogen production. | Chengyu Huang Zhonghong Xia Jing Wang Jing Zhang Chenfei Zhao Xingli Zou Shichun Mu Jiujun Zhang Xionggang Lu Hong Jin Fan Shengjuan Huo Yufeng Zhao | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0 |
| 14 | Effect of loading rate on shear strength parameters of mechanically and biologically treated waste显示文摘Mechanical biological treatment(MBT)technology has attracted increasing attention because it can reduce the volume of waste produced.To deal with the current trend of increasing waste,MBT practices are being adopted to address waste generated in developing urban societies.In this study,a total of 20 specimens of consolidated undrained triaxial tests were conducted on waste obtained from the Hangzhou Tianziling landfill,China,to evaluate the effect of loading rate on the shear strength parameters of MBT waste.The MBT waste samples exhibited an evident strain-hardening behavior,and no peak was observed even when the axial strain exceeded 25%.Further,the shear strength increased with an increase in the loading rate;the effect of loading rate on shear strength under a low confining pressure was greater than that under a high confining pressure.Furthermore,the shear strength parameters of MBT waste were related to the loading rate.The relationship between the cohesion,internal friction angle,and logarithm of the loading rate could be fitted to a linear relationship,which was established in this study.Finally,the ranges of shear strength parameters cohesion c and effective cohesion c′were determined as 1.0–8.2 kPa and 2.1–14.9 kPa,respectively;the ranges of the internal friction angleφand effective internal friction angleφ’were determined as 16.2°–29°and 19.8°–43.9°,respectively.These results could be used as a valuable reference for conducting stability analyses of MBT landfills. | Guoyang Fan Zhenying Zhang Jiahe Zhang Jiayue Zhang Qiaona Wang Min Wang Bang Wang Chengyu Nie | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,12: | 0 |
| 15 | LncFASA promotes cancer ferroptosis via modulating PRDX1 phase separation显示文摘Ferroptosis, a unique type of non-apoptotic cell death resulting from iron-dependent lipid peroxidation, has a potential physiological function in tumor suppression, but its underlying mechanisms have not been fully elucidated. Here, we report that the long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) LncFASA increases the susceptibility of triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC) to ferroptosis. As a tumor suppressor, LncFASA drives the formation of droplets containing peroxiredoxin1(PRDX1), a member of the peroxidase family, resulting in the accumulation of lipid peroxidation via the SLC7A11-GPX4 axis. Mechanistically, LncFASA directly binds to the Ahpc-TSA domain of PRDX1, inhibiting its peroxidase activity by driving liquid-liquid phase separation, which disrupts intracellular ROS homeostasis. Notably, high LncFASA expression indicates favorable overall survival in individuals with breast cancer, and LncFASA impairs the growth of breast xenograft tumors by modulating ferroptosis. | 16 | Efficacy of repeated intravenous esketamine in adolescents with anxious versus non-anxious depression显示文摘Background Patients with anxious major depressive disorder(MDD)are more likely to have poorer outcomes than those with non-anxious MDD.However,the effect of esketamine on adolescents with anxious versus non-anxious MDD has remained unknown.Aims We compared the efficacy of esketamine in adolescents with MDD and suicidal ideation,both anxious and non-anxious.Methods Fifty-four adolescents with anxious(n=33)and non-anxious(n=21)MDD received three infusions of esketamine 0.25mg/kg or active-placebo(midazolam 0.045 mg/kg)over 5 days,with routine inpatient care and treatment.Suicidal ideation and depressive symptoms were assessed using the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale.Multiple-sample proportional tests were used to compare the differences between groups on treatment outcomes 24 hours after the final infusion(day 6,primacy efficacy endpoint)and throughout the 4-week post-treatment(days 12,19 and 33).Results In subjects who received esketamine,a greater number of patients in the non-anxious group than the anxious group achieved antisuicidal remission on day 6(72.7%vs 18.8%,p=0.015)and day 12(90.9%vs 43.8%,p=0.013),and the non-anxious group had a higher antidepressant remission rate compared with the anxious group on day 33(72.7%vs 26.7%,p=0.045).No significant differences in treatment outcomes were observed between the anxious and non-anxious groups at other time points.Conclusions Three infusions of esketamine as an adjunct to routine inpatient care and treatment had a greater immediate post-treatment antisuicidal effect in adolescents with non-anxious MDD than in those with anxious MDD;however,this benefit was temporary and was not maintained over time. | Xiaofeng Lan Chengyu Wang Fan Zhang Haiyan Liu Ling Fu Weicheng Li Yanxiang Ye Zhibo Hu Siming Mai Yuping Ning Yanling Zhou | 2023 | General Psychiatry2023,36,3: | 0 |
