2Preparation and Properties of Bio-Based Flame Retardant L-APP/Poly(L-lactic acid)Composites显示文摘Poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)is a thermoplastic material with complete degradability,high biocompatibility and excellent mechanical properties.It can replace petroleum-based polymers are currently being used in the fields of packaging,agriculture,textiles,medical and so on.However,PLLA’s extremely flammability greatly limits its wider application.An bio-based flame retardant L-APP/PLLA composites was prepared by melt blending of the L-APP and PLLA.The morphology,impact properties,thermal properties and flame retardant properties of composites were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscope(SEM),impact tester,differential scanning calorimeter(DSC),thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA),limiting oxygen indexer(LOI)and horizontalvertical burning tester.The results showed that the degree of crystallization(X_(c))and LOI of L-APP/PLLA composites increased as increasing of L-APP content.What’s more,the impact strength first increased and then decreased,the glass transition temperature(T_(g))and melting temperature(T_(m))do not changed significantly.The impact strength of composites was 9.1 kJ/m^(2) at a 5 wt%loading for L-APP,which was the highest level.When the content of L-APP was 20%,the LOI was 30.8%,the Xc was 42.3%and the UL-94 level was V-0.This research can promote the value-added utilization of lignin and the application of PLLA in the fields of flame retardant materials.Qionglin Luo Mingliang Wang Hui Zhang Yuejun Ouyang Hongwei Lin You Shu Shengpei Su 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,12:1

4Preparation and Properties of Bio-Based Flame Retardant Polyvinyl Alcohol显示文摘Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) has been widely used in the fields of medical, food and packaging due to its excellentbiocompatibility, good fiber-forming and film-forming properties. However, the high flammability of PVA hasgreatly limited its wider applications. The flame-retardant PVA was prepared by melt blending of a bio-basedflame retardant (prepared from lignin, phosphoric acid and carbamide) with thermoplastic PVA (TPVA). Thechemical structure, morphology, thermal properties, mechanical properties, fire property and fluidity of thisflame retardant PVA were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR), field emission scanning electron microscope(SEM), thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA), impact tester, universal testing machine,horizontal-vertical burning tester, limiting oxygen indexer(LOI) and melt flow rate meter(MFR). The resultsshowed that the prepared flame retardant had good compatibility with the PVA substrate;The impact strength,melt flow rate, fire property and char residue of this PVA material increased with the content of bio-based flameretardant. When the content of flame retardant was of 20%, the five indices including impact strength, meltflow rate, UL-94 level, LOI and char residual were 11.3 KJ/m^(2), 21.2 g/10 min, V-0 UL-94 level, 33.1%, and19.2%, respectively. 5Freely accessible inventory and spatial distribution of large-scale landslides in Xianyang City,Shaanxi Province,China显示文摘In this study, we used high-resolution optical satellite images on the Google Earth platform to map large-scale landslides in Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, China. After mapping, a comprehensive and detailed large-scale landslide inventory that contains 2 924 large-scale landslides was obtained. We analyzed the spatial distribu-tion of landslides with seven influencing factors, including elevation, slope angle, aspect, curvature, lithology, distance to a river, and distance to the fault. Landslide Number, Landslide Area, Landslide Number Density(LND), and Landslide Area Percentage(LAP) were selected as indexes for the spatial distribution analysis. The results show that the number and area of landslides in the elevation range of 1 000–1 200 m is the highest. The highest number of landslides was observed in the slope angle of 25°–30°. North-facing slopes are prone to sliding. The area and number of landslides are the largest when the slope curvature ranges from-1.28 to 0. The LND and LAP reach their maxima when the slope curvature is less than-2.56. Areas covered by the Tertiary stratum with weakened fine-grained sandstone and siltstone show the highest LND and LAP values. Regarding distance to a river, the LAP peaks in the range of 300–600 m, whereas the LND peaks in an area larger than 2100 m. The values of LND and LNP rise as the distance from the faults increases, except for the locations 30 km away from active faults. This phenomenon is because active faults in this area pass through the plain areas, while landslides mostly occur in mountainous areas. The cataloging of landslide development in Xianyang City provides a significant scientific foundation for future research on landslides. 7A multi-omic landscape of steatosis-to-NASH progression显示文摘Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)has emerged as a major cause of liver failure and hepatocellular carcinoma.Investigation into the molecular mechanisms that underlie steatosis-to-NASH progression is key to understanding the development of NASH pathophysiology.Here,we present comprehensive multi-omic profiles of preclinical animal models to identify genes,non-coding RNAs,proteins,and plasma metabolites involved in this progression.In particular,by transcriptomics analysis,we identified Growth Differentiation Factor 3(GDF3)as a candidate noninvasive biomarker in NASH.Plasma GDF3 levels are associated with hepatic pathological features in patients with NASH,and differences in these levels provide a high diagnostic accuracy of NASH diagnosis(AUROC=0.90;95%confidence interval:0.85−0.95)with a good sensitivity(90.7%)and specificity(86.4%).In addition,by developing integrated proteomic-metabolomic datasets and performing a subsequent pharmacological intervention in a mouse model of NASH,we show that ferroptosis may be a potential target to treat NASH.Moreover,by using competing endogenous RNAs network analysis,we found that several miRNAs,including miR-582-5p and miR-292a-3p,and lncRNAs,including XLOC-085738 and XLOC-041531,are associated with steatosis-to-NASH progression.Collectively,our data provide a valuable resource into the molecular characterization of NASH progression,leading to the novel insight that GDF3 may be a potential noninvasive diagnostic biomarker for NASH while further showing that ferroptosis is a therapeutic target for the disease.Liping Xiang Xiaoyan Li Yunchen Luo Bing Zhou Yuejun Liu Yao Li Duojiao Wu Lijing Jia Pei-Wu Zhu Ming-Hua Zheng Hua Wang Yan Lu 2022Life Metabolism2022,1,3:0
8The combination of novel immune checkpoints HHLA2 and ICOSLG:A new system to predict survival and immune features in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Studies on immune checkpoint inhibitors targeting B7-CD28 family pathways in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)have shown promising results.However,a comprehensive understanding of B7-CD28 family members in ESCC is still limited.This study aimed to construct a novel B7-CD28 family-based prognosis system to predict survival in patients with ESCC.We collected 179 cases from our previously published microarray data and 86 cases with qPCR data.Specifically,119 microarray data(GSE53624)were used as a training set,whereas the remaining 60 microarray data(GSE53622),all 179 microarray data(GSE53625)and an independent cohort with 86 qPCR data were used for validation.The underlying mechanism and immune landscape of the system were also explored using bioinformatics and immunofluorescence.We examined 13 well-defined B7-CD28 family members and identified 2 genes(ICSOLG and HHLA2)with the greatest prognostic value.A system based on the combination HHLA2 and ICOSLG(B7-CD28 signature)was constructed to distinguish patients as high-or low-risk of an unfavorable outcome,which was further confirmed as an independent prognostic factor.As expected,the signature was well validated in the entire cohort and in the independent cohort,as well as in different clinical subgroups.The signature was found to be closely related to immune-specific biological processes and pathways.Additionally,high-risk group samples demonstrated high infiltration of Tregs and fibroblasts and distinctive immune checkpoint panels.Collectively,we built the first,practical B7-CD28 signature for ESCC that could independently identify high-risk patients.Such information may help inform immunotherapy-based treatment decisions for patients with ESCC.Chaoqi Zhang Feng Wang Nan Sun Zhen Zhang Guochao Zhang Zhihui Zhang Yuejun Luo Yun Che Hong Cheng Jiagen Li Jie He 2022Genes & Diseases2022,9,2:0
9The key elements analysis of Guangdong & Shenzhen ETS & tips for China national ETS construction显示文摘The only joint effort area of provincial and municipal governments resides in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City in China's carbon emission trading system(ETS) pilots,which characterize the national carbon ETS plots.The present study on the operating experience from this area has important reference value for the national carbon ETS.Analysis and comparison of the key elements show many differences in coverage,total allowance,allowance allocation,and MRV mechanism between Guangdong and Shenzhen carbon ETS.The present study provides the following explanation:(1)the design characteristics of carbon ETS(e.g.coverage,total quotas,the allocation,and MRV mechanism) depend on the local geographical conditions and policy goals.The differences of economic structure in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City result in different coverage,which then result in differences in other management elements.(2)The operating state of the carbon market is affected by overall design of carbon ETS:in the case of tighter total allowance,lower proportion of China Certified Emission Reductions,and harsher punishment,the carbon market is relatively active,which intends to produce carbon financial market.Based on deep analysis of operation characteristics of carbon ETS in Guangdong and Shenzhen,the present study suggests that(1)the allowance should be allocated freely at the beginning stage and then gradually transited to the voluntary paid auction;(2)the allowances assigned to companies shall be linked up with their energy-saving objectives;(3)the output fluctuations and economic influence on the allowance allocation should be properly handled to maintain the fairness and consistence of allowance allocation standards;(4)stable public expectation is one of the key elements to maintain the regular operation of carbon ETS;(5)constrained carbon emission behavior outside ETS can contribute to social justice;and(6)the improvement of professional skills of relevant personnel in the enterprise and independent third party can enhance carbon emissions data reliability.Wenjun Wang Yuejun Luo Pengcheng Xie Zhigang Luo Daiqing Zhao 2016Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2016,16,4:0

11A novel domain-duplicated SlitFAR3 gene involved in sex pheromone biosynthesis in Spodoptera litura显示文摘Fatty acyl reductases(FARs)are key enzymes that participate in sex pheromone biosynthesis by reducing fatty acids to fatty alcohols.Lepidoptera typically harbor numerous FAR gene family members.Although FAR genes are involved in the biosynthesis of sex pheromones in moths,the key FAR gene of Spodoptera litura remains unclear.In this work,we predicted 30 FAR genes from the S.litura genome and identified a domain duplication within gene SlitFAR3,which exhibited high and preferential expression in the sexually mature female pheromone glands(PGs)and a rhythmic expression pattern during the scotophase of sex pheromone production.The molecular docking of SlitFAR3,as predicted using a 3D model,revealed a co-factor NADPH binding cavity and 2 substrate binding cavities.Functional expression in yeast cells combined with comprehensive gas chromatography indicated that the SlitFAR3 gene could produce fatty alcohol products.This study is the first to focus on the special phenomenon of FAR domain duplication,which will advance our understanding of biosynthesis-related genes from the perspective of evolutionary biology.Biyun Zhang Fengqi Li Cheng Qu Hongxia Duan Yuejun Fu Chen Luo 2023Insect Science2023,30,3:0
