1Research progress and mechanism of nanomaterials-mediated in-situ remediation of cadmium-contaminated soil:A critical review显示文摘Cadmium contamination of soil is a global issue and in-situ remediation technology as a promising mitigation strategy has attracted more and more attention.Many nanomaterials have been applied for the in-situ remediation of cadmium-contaminated soil due to their excellent properties of the nano-scale size effect.In this work,recent research progress of various nanomaterials,including carbon nanomaterials,metal-based nanomaterials and nano mineral materials,in the removal of cadmium and in-situ remediation of cadmiumcontaminated soil were systematically discussed.Additional emphases were particularly laid on both laboratory and field restoration effects.Moreover,the factors which can affect the stability of cadmium,main interaction mechanisms between nanomaterials and cadmium in the soil,and potential future research direction were also provided.Therefore,it is believed that this work will ultimately contribute to the myriad of environmental cleanup advances,and further improve human health and sustainable development.Yuenan Zhang Yujie Zhang Ozioma Udochukwu Akakuru Xiawei Xu Aiguo Wu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:15
2Relationship between the atmospheric heat source over Tibetan Plateau and the heat source and general circulation over East Asia显示文摘On the basis of NCEP/NCAR version I daily reanalysis data from 1971 to 2000 and by the methods of inverse calculation,correlation analysis and comparative analysis,the influences of atmospheric heat source(AHS) over the Tibetan Plateau on the large-scale AHS and the general circulation in summer are studied in this paper.The results show that AHS over the plateau in summer may trigger a heat source wavetrain propagating northeastward along the coast from the East Asian continent and West Pacific to Bering Strait-Arctic or even North America.In addition,if AHS over the eastern plateau is intense,South Asian High moves to southeast and West Pacific subtropical high moves to southwest;on the contrary,if AHS over the eastern plateau is weak,South Asian High moves to northwest and West Pacific subtropical high moves to northeast.Therefore,South Asian High and West Pacific sub-tropical high move in the horizontally-opposite directions in terms of interannual variation,for which AHS over the eastern plateau seems to be thermodynamically responsible.WANG YueNan ZHANG Bo CHEN LongXun HE JinHai LI Wei CHEN Hua 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,21:9
3Double-layered osmotic pump controlled release tablets of actarit: In vitro and in vivo evaluation显示文摘The aim of the study was to develop actarit double-layered osmotic pump tablets to overcome the weak points of actarit common tablets, such as short half-life and large plasma concentration fluctuations. Single factor experiment and orthogonal test were applied to optimize the formulation;the pharmacokinetic study was performed in beagle dogs adopting actarit common tablets as reference tablets. The optimal formulation was as follows: drug layer: 150 mg actarit, 240 mg PEO-N80, 50 mg NaCl;push layer: 140 mg PEO-WSR303, 20 mg NaCl;coating solution: 30 g cellulose acetate and 6 g PEG 4000 in 1000 ml 94% acetone solution, 60 mg coating weight gain. The pharmacokinetic study showed that T max was prolonged by the contrast of commercial common tablets with constant drug release rate, but the bioavailability was equivalent. And a good in vivo –in vitro correlation of the actarit osmotic pump tablets was also established. 4Study on Kinetics for Desulfurization of Model Diesel显示文摘In this study,by means of the experiments for desulfurization of model diesel through oxidative extraction,the changes associated with the rate of desulfurization of diesel and the mechanism for oxidation of sulfides in diesel were explored. Through studying the mechanism for oxidation of sulfides and the principle of solvent extraction,the kinetic equation of desulfurization via oxidative extraction were determined. By means of the evaluation of model parameters and curve fitting,the reaction order between organic sulfide and sulfone,the intrinsic oxidation rate constant of organic sulfide and sulfone,and the equilibrium constant between sulfone in model diesel and extractive solvent were determined. The experimental values of the desulfurization rate and the theoretical values of the corresponding model equation had closely demonstrated that the desulfurization reaction rate had high accuracy. 5A versatile ligand-assisted cooperative template method to synthesize multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal hydroxide and oxide nanospheres as catalytic reactors显示文摘Nowadays,multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal oxide nanospheres have drawn a lot of attention due to their large internal space,nanometer scaled shell thickness,high specific surface area and well-defined mesopores,of which unique nanostructure endows metallic oxides with enhanced properties.In this thesis,we have studied and proposed a versatile ligand-assisted cooperative template method to synthesize multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal hydroxides and oxides nanospheres,in which silica nanospheres act as sacrificial templates and the coordination interaction between metal ions and surfactant can be cooperatively amplified by using chelating ligand(ascorbic acid)as a co-template.The synthesized metal hydroxides and oxides nanospheres possess stable hollow structure,uniform spherical morphology and tunable diameter from 270 to 690 nm.All the multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal hydroxide and metal oxide nanospheres exhibit high surface areas(up to 640 m^(2)/g).The obtained Au nanoparticles loaded composited nanospheres exhibit excellent reactivity for solvent-free aerobic oxidation of ethylbenzene with high activity(28.2%)and selectivity(87%).Jingwei Liu Yali Ma Liangliang Zhang Yuenan Zheng Rui Zhang Ling Zhang Feng Wei Zhen-An Qiao 2021Nano Research2021,14,9:2

10Centimeter-Deep NIR-II Fluorescence Imaging with Nontoxic AIE Probes in Nonhuman Primates显示文摘Fluorescence probes with aggregation-induced emission(AIE)characteristics are of great importance in biomedical imaging with superior spatial and temporal resolution.However,the lack of toxicity studies and deep tissue imaging in nonhuman primates hinders their clinical translation.Here,we report the blood chemistry and histological analysis in nonhuman primates treated with AIE probes over tenfold of an intravenous dose of clinically used indocyanine green(ICG)during a study period of 36 days to demonstrate AIE probes are nontoxic.Furthermore,through bright and nontoxic AIE probes and fluorescence imaging in the second window(NIR-II,1,000-1,700 nm),we achieve an unprecedented 1.5-centimeter-deep vascular imaging in nonhuman primates,breaking the current limitation of millimeter-deep NIR-II fluorescence imaging.Our important findings,i.e.,nontoxic features of AIE probes and centimeter-deep NIR-II vascular imaging in nonhuman primates,may facilitate successful translation of AIE probes in clinical trials.Zonghai Sheng Yaxi Li Dehong Hu Tianliang Min Duyang Gao Jen-Shyang Ni Pengfei Zhang Yuenan Wang Xin Liu Kai Li Hairong Zheng Ben Zhong Tang 2020Research2020,,1:1

15Physical and Electrochemical Properties of Doped LiFePO4 as Cathode Material for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘LiFePO4 cathode material was synthesized by a solid-state reaction using doping several elements (Nb5 + ,Zr4 + ). The starting materials were mixed with a high-efficient sander and treated thermally under flowing N2. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission gun electron microscopy (FEG), and their electrochemical performance was investigated in the term of cycling behavior. 17Influences of Al and Si Powders on Microstructure and Hot Mechanical Properties of Al_2O_3-C Slide Plates显示文摘The basic formulation of Al2O3- C slide plates was65%( in mass,the same hereinafter) white fused corundum particles,25% white fused corundum fines,6% active α-Al2O3 micropowder,4% carbon black and flake graphite, and additional 4% phenolic resin.Based on this formulation,3% Al powder,3% Si powder,and 3% Al + 3% Si powder were used to substitute equivalent white corundum fines to improve the hot mechanical properties of Al2O3- C slide plates. The specimens with dimensions of 140 mm × 25 mm × 25 mm were pressed at 150 MPa,dried at 200 ℃ for 24 h,and hot treated at 1 400 ℃ for 3 h in carbon embedded condition. Then hot modulus of rupture and thermal shock resistance of the specimens were tested and the phase compositions and microstructure were analyzed. The results show that specimen with 3% Al powder has the higher hot modulus of rupture but lower residual modulus of rupture after thermal shock than the specimen with3% Si powder; the specimen with 3% Al + 3% Si powders exhibits the highest hot modulus of rupture and the best thermal shock resistance; the change of mechanical property is closely related with the in-situ formed nonoxides: AlN in the form of bars is formed in specimens with Al powder; fibrous SiC whiskers are formed in specimens with Si powder; in the specimens with both Al and Sipowders,besides AlN and SiC whiskers,hexagonal tabular SiAlON is in-situ synthesized,which interlocks with each other.ZHAO Fei ZHU Boquan LI Xiangcheng ZHU Yuenan 2014China's Refractories2014,23,3:0

19Disruptive technologies for advancing supply chain resilience显示文摘Disruptive technologies provide a new paradigm for supply chain risk management and bring opportunities and challenges for the improvement of supply chain resilience(SCRes).This study summarizes the application cases of some disruptive technologies in the SCRes and analyzes the benefits and damages brought by disruptive technologies to the SCRes.The results show that disruptive technologies can provide the supply chain with flexibility,visibility,agility,and other capabilities at various stages of risk management.Hence,technology advancements greatly increase the level of the SCRes.Although disruptive technologies undermine the construction of SCRes,these damages can be eliminated through technology iteration or other disruptive technologies.Furthermore,disruptive technologies will provide better stability for the SCRes.The study also makes several suggestions for the use of disruptive technologies in the construction of the SCRes.Weihua LIU Yang HE Jingxin DONG Yuenan CAO 2023Frontiers of Engineering Management2023,10,2:0
20Efficacy of early prone or lateral positioning in patients with severe COVID-19:a single-center prospective cohort显示文摘Background:Position intervention has been shown to improve oxygenation,but its role in non-invasively ventilated patients with severe COVID-19 has not been assessed.The objective of this study was to investigate the efficacy of early position intervention on non-invasively ventilated patients with severe COVID-19.Methods:This was a single-center,prospective observational study in consecutive patients with severe COVID-19 managed in a provisional ICU at Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from 31 January to 15 February 2020.Patients with chest CT showing exudation or consolidation in bilateral peripheral and posterior parts of the lungs were included.Early position intervention(prone or lateral)was commenced for>4 hours daily for 10 days in these patients,while others received standard care.Results:The baseline parameters were comparable between the position intervention group(n=17)and the standard care group(n=35).Position intervention was well-tolerated and increased cumulative adjusted mean difference of SpO_(2)/FiO_(2)(409,95%CI 86 to 733)and ROX index(26,95%CI 9 to 43)with decreased Borg scale(−9,95%CI−15 to−3)during the first 7 days.It also facilitated absorption of lung lesions and reduced the proportion of patients with high National Early Warning Score 2(≥7)on days 7 and 14,with a trend toward faster clinical improvement.Virus shedding and length of hospital stay were comparable between the two groups.Conclusions:This study provides the first evidence for improved oxygenation and lung lesion absorption using early position intervention in non-invasively ventilated patients with severe COVID-19,and warrants further randomized trials.Zhong Ni Kaige Wang Ting Wang Yuenan Ni Wei Huang Ping Zhu Tao Fan Ye Wang Bo Wang Jun Deng Zhicheng Qian Jiasheng Liu Wenhao Cai Shanling Xu Yu Du Gang Wang Zongan Liang Weimin Li Jianfei Luo Fengming Luo Dan Liu 2020Precision Clinical Medicine2020,3,4:0
