| 1 | A CAD-compatible body-fitted particle generator for arbitrarily complex geo-metry and its application to wave-structure interaction显示文摘Generating body-fitted particle distribution for arbitrarily complex geometry underpins the applications of particle-based method to engineering and bioengineering and is highly challenging,and thus hinders the potential of particle methods.In this paper,we present a new computer-aided design(CAD)compatible body-fitted particle generator,termed as CAD-BPG,for arbitrarily complex 3-D geometry.By parsing a CAD model,the present method can accurately tackle arbitrarily complex geometry representation and describe the corresponding geometry surface by constructing an implicit zero level-set function on Cartesian background mesh.To achieve a body-fitted and isotropic particle distribution,physics-driven relaxation process with surface bounding governed by the transport-velocity formulation of smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH)methodology is conducted to characterize the particle evolution.A set of examples,ranging from propeller,stent structures and anatomical heart models,show simplicity,accuracy and versatility of the present CAD-BPG for generating body-fitted particle distribution of arbitrarily complex 3-D geometry.Last but not least,the present CAD-BPG is applied for modeling wave-structure interaction,where wave interaction with an oscillating wave surge converter is studied,and the results show that the present method not only provides an efficient and easy-to-implement pre-processing tool for particle-based simulation but also improves the numerical accuracy compared with lattice particle distribution.Consequently,the propose CAD-BPG sheds light on simulating real-world applications by particle-based methods for researchers and engineers. | Yujie Zhu Chi Zhang Yongchuan Yu Xiangyu Hu | 2021 | Journal of Hydrodynamics2021,33,2: | 5 |

| 3 | Baeyer-Villiger Oxidation of Cyclic Ketones Catalyzed by Amino Acid Ionic Liquids显示文摘A series of amino-acid-based ionic liquids was synthesized via one-step protonation of the corresponding L-amiiio acid by utilizing an array of proton sources.The catalytic activity of the amino-acid-based ionic liquids for the Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of cyclic ketones was investigated using cyclopentanone as a model cycloketone.Theproline-based ionic liquid[ProH]CF3SO3 was shown to exliibit thebest catalytic activity.The reaction condition was optimized to give the following reagent ratio of h(cyclopentanone):n(catalyst):w(H2O2)=1:0.06:4,60℃and 6 h.Under the optimum conditions,the conversion of cyclopentanone was 96.57%and the selectivity forδ-valerolactone was 73.01%.The catalytic activity was shown to be constant after 4 cycles.A simple treatment was allowed for the recover and the reuse of[ProH]CF3S03.The successful utilization of[ProH]CF3SO3 to catalyze a host of cyclic ketones via Baeyer-Villiger oxidation clearly demonstrated the capacity of[ProH]CF3S03 to tolerate variation in the substrate. | YU Fengli CHI Yujie GAO Chong CHEN Ruirui XIE Congxia YU Shitao | 2020 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,5: | 1 |

| 13 | Inversion of Venus internal structure based on geodetic data显示文摘Understanding the internal structure of Venus promotes the exploration of the evolutionary history of this planet.However,the existing research concerning the internal structure of Venus has not used any inversion methods.In this work we employed an inversion method to determine the internal structure of Venus using observational or hypothetical geodetic data;these data include mass,mean radius,mean moment of inertia and second degree tidal Love number k2.To determine the core state of Venus,we created two models of Venus,an isotropic 3-layer model with entire liquid core and an isotropic 4-layer model with liquid outer core and a solid inner core,assuming that the interior of Venus is spherically symmetric and in hydrostatic equilibrium.A series of the sensitivity analysis of interior structure parameters to the geodetic data considered in here shows that not all of the parameters can be constrained by the geodetic data from Venus.On this basis,a Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm was used to determine the posterior probability distribution and the optimal values of the internal structure parameters of Venus with the geodetic data.We found that the 3-layer model is more credible than the 4-layer model via currently geodetic data.For the assumption of the 3-layer model with the k2=0.295±0.066,I/MR^2=0.33±0.0165,andρ=5242.7±2.6 kg m^-3,the liquid iron-rich core of Venus has a radius of 3294+215-261km,which suggests a larger core than previous research has indicated.The average density of the mantle and liquid core of Venus are 4101+325-375and 11885+955-1242kg m~^-3,respectively. | Chi Xiao Fei Li Jian-Guo Yan Wei-Feng Hao Yuji Harada Mao Ye Jean-Pierre Barriot | 2020 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2020,20,8: | 1 |

| 18 | Baseline radiologic features as predictors of efficacy in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors with liver metastases receiving surufatinib显示文摘Objective:Currently,pre-treatment prediction of patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors with liver metastases(PNELM)receiving surufatinib treatment was unsatisfying.Our objective was to examine the association between radiological characteristics and efficacy/prognosis.Methods:We enrolled patients with liver metastases in the phase III,SANET-p trial(NCT02589821)and obtained contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CECT)images.Qualitative and quantitative parameters including hepatic tumor margins,lesion volumes,enhancement pattern,localization types,and enhancement ratios were evaluated.The progression-free survival(PFS)and hazard ratio(HR)were calculated using Cox’s proportional hazard model.Efficacy was analyzed by logistic-regression models.Results:Among 152 patients who had baseline CECT assessments and were included in this analysis,the surufatinib group showed statistically superior efficacy in terms of median PFS compared to placebo across various qualitative and quantitative parameters.In the multivariable analysis of patients receiving surufatinib(N=100),those with higher arterial phase standardized enhancement ratio-peri-lesion(ASER-peri)exhibited longer PFS[HR=0.039;95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.003−0.483;P=0.012].Furthermore,patients with a high enhancement pattern experienced an improvement in the objective response ratio[31.3%vs.14.7%,odds ratio(OR)=3.488;95%CI:1.024−11.875;P=0.046],and well-defined tumor margins were associated with a higher disease control rate(DCR)(89.3%vs.68.2%,OR=4.535;95%CI:1.285−16.011;P=0.019)compared to poorlydefined margins.Conclusions:These pre-treatment radiological features,namely high ASER-peri,high enhancement pattern,and well-defined tumor margins,have the potential to serve as predictive markers of efficacy in patients with PNELM receiving surufatinib. | Jianwei Zhang Haibin Zhu Lin Shen Jie Li Xiaoyan Zhang Chunmei Bai Zhiwei Zhou Xianrui Yu Zhiping Li Enxiao Li Xianglin Yuan Wenhui Lou Yihebali Chi Nong Xu Yongmei Yin Yuxian Bai Tao Zhang Dianrong Xiu Jia Chen Shukui Qin Xiuwen Wang Yujie Yang Haoyun Shi Xian Luo Songhua Fan Weiguo Su Ming Lu Jianming Xu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023,35,5: | 0 |

| 20 | Numerical simulation and experimental study on eggshell membrane separation device显示文摘In order to provide theoretical guidance for separating egg membrane from eggshell by using mechanical agitation,CFD was used to explore the flow characteristics in stirred tank,using the Sliding Grid method to deal with the impeller rotational velocity zone in flow field,and using the Euler model to deal with liquid-solid two-phase flow.This study explored the influence of dish-shape bottom or flat-shape bottom,the clearance size between baffle and the side wall,and the axial height of impeller to bottom on suspension state of particles,solids holdup distribution,solid phase velocity and power number by CFD.Simulation results showed that better particles suspension effect in dish-shape tank can reduce particles accumulation at the bottom and power consumption.If there was a small clearance size(S)between the baffle and the side wall of the stirred tank,it would reduce particles accumulation at the bottom,and reduce the power consumption.However,too large S would decrease the suspension height of particles,not only cannot strengthen the main flow,but also lead to most fluid through clearance forming tangential flow,simulation results showed that S=6 mm was perfect.While decreased axial height of impeller(C)to bottom,particles accumulation at the bottom was decreased,but power consumption would increase,simulation results showed that C=H/5(H is height of liquid surface)was perfect.According to the simulation results,the structure of the stirring tank was optimized.At the same time,the influences of stirring rotational velocity,stirring time,solid-liquid ratio and separating medium temperature on egg membrane recovery were also studied by experiment,and optimal parameter combination of factors was obtained.The experiment results showed while the stirring time was 17.1 min,stirring rotational velocity was 350 r/min,solid-liquid ratio was 1:17 g/mL,the separating medium temperature was 32℃,the membrane recovery rate can reach above 89%.The device improves the recovery and utilization of discarded eggshell,and provides a reference for the solid-liquid two-phase flow and related study. | Yuan Chi Yong Wang Mengfu Li Jie Ren Yujie Chi | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,2: | 0 |
