| 2 | Electric-field control of the activity of the graphene-based catalyst显示文摘Effects of an electric field on CO oxidation of Au-embedded graphene are investigated using first-principles method. Results of our calculations show that the initial step of the reaction is more likely to proceed via the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism in the presence of the field, and the reaction barrier can be tuned continuously by the electric field. However, the applied electric field makes it more difficult for the product of the reaction, CO2, to desorb from the reaction site. These two competing effects make an electric field not entirely advantageous in controlling the activity of Au-embedded graphene for CO oxidation reaction. | 6 | Reversible Magnesium Metal Anode Enabled by Cooperative Solvation/Surface Engineering in Carbonate Electrolytes显示文摘Magnesium metal anode holds great potentials toward future high energy and safe rechargeable magnesium battery technology due to its divalent redox and dendrite-free nature. Electrolytes based on Lewis acid chemistry enable the reversible Mg plating/stripping,while they fail to match most cathode materials toward highvoltage magnesium batteries. Herein,reversible Mg plating/stripping is achieved in conventional carbonate electrolytes enabled by the cooperative solvation/surface engineering. Strongly electronegative Cl from the MgCl_(2) additive of electrolyte impairs the Mg…O = C interaction to reduce the Mg^(2+) desolvation barrier for accelerated redox kinetics,while the Mg^(2+)-conducting polymer coating on the Mg surface ensures the facile Mg^(2+) migration and the e ective isolation of electrolytes. As a result,reversible plating and stripping of Mg is demonstrated with a low overpotential of 0.7 V up to 2000 cycles. Moreover,benefitting from the wide electrochemical window of carbonate electrolytes,high-voltage(> 2.0 V) rechargeable magnesium batteries are achieved through assembling the electrode couple of Mg metal anode and Prussian blue-based cathodes. | 8 | Two-dimensional lithiophilic YF_(δ) enabled lithium dendrite removal for quasi-solid-state lithium batteries显示文摘Lithium metal batteries are regarded as promising alternatives to lithium ion batteries due to their high specific capacity.However,lithium dendrite growth during cycling causes safety problem and rapid capacity loss.Here,we report a composite Li anode composed(LYF)of metallic Li and trace amounts(1 e2 wt%)of two-dimensional YF_(δ).The lithiophilic nature of YF_(δ) enables its homogeneous dispersion in metallic lithium.The LYF electrode exhibits lower resistance,higher chemical and mechanical stability,and longer cycle life compared to bare Li electrode due to uniform Li stripping and plating with YF_(δ) incorporation,which was confirmed by in-situ optical microscope observation.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveals that LiF can in-situ form on the LYF electrode with reactions between Li and YF_(δ) during cycling.The spontaneous reactions are clarified by density functional theory calculations.A quasisolid-state cell with LYF anode,LiFePO_(4) cathode and cathode-supported solid electrolyte layer has been constructed with a soft interface constructed between Li anode and solid electrolyte by in-situ thermal polymerization.The cell shows a high initial discharge capacity of 147 mAh g1 at 0.5℃ at 60℃ and sustains a stable cycling over 50 cycles with the in-situ formed LiF-rich layer and soft interface. | Xiao Chen Jian Xie Yunhao Lu Xinbing Zhao Tiejun Zhu | 2021 | Journal of Materiomics2021,7,2: | 1 |

| 12 | Organic solar cells based on chlorine functionalized benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]difuran-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]dithiophene-4,8-dione copolymer with efficiency exceeding 13%显示文摘Benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene(BDT) has been widely used to construct donor-acceptor(D-A) copolymers in organic solar cells(OSCs). However, benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b′]difuran(BDF), an analogue of BDT, has received less attention than BDT. The photovoltaic performance of BDF copolymers has lagged behind that of BDT copolymers. Here, we designed and synthesized two BDF copolymers, PBF1-C and PBF1-C-2Cl. PBF1-C-2Cl, which is composed of BDF and benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]dithiophene-4,8-dione connected by a chlorinated thiophene π-bridge, displays a low-lying highest occupied molecular orbital energy level,which helps in yielding a high open-circuit voltage(Voc) in OSCs. As a result, when blended with Y6, PBF1-C-2Cl-based devices showed a high Voc of 0.83 V and a power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 13.10%. | 14 | Forging Inspired Processing of Sodium-Fluorinated Graphene Composite as Dendrite-Free Anode for Long-Life Na–CO_(2) Cells显示文摘Na–CO_(2) batteries recently are emerging as promising energy-storage devices due to the abundance of Na in the earth’s crust and the clean utilization of greenhouse gas CO_(2) .However,similar to metallic Li,metallic Na also suffers from a serious issue of dendrite growth upon repeated cycling,while a facile method to solve this issue is still lacking.In this work,we report an effective,environmentally friendly method to inhibit Na dendrite growth by in situ constructing a stable,NaF-rich solid electrolyte interface(SEI)layer on metallic Na via adding a small amount(~3 wt%)of fluorinated graphene(FG)in bulk Na.Inspired by the forging processing,a uniform Na/FG composite was obtained by melting and repetitive FG-adsorbing/hammering processes.The Na/FG–Na/FG half cell exhibits a low voltage hysteresis of 110–140 mV over 700 h at a current density up to 5 mA cm^(-2) with an areal capacity as high as 5 mAh cm^(-2).Na–CO_(2) full cell with the Na/FG anode is able to sustain a stable cycling of 391 cycles at a limited capacity of 1000 mAh g^(-1).Long cycle life of the cell can be attributed to the protecting effect of the in situ fabricated NaF-rich SEI layer on metallic Na.Both experiments and density functional theory(DFT)calculations confirm the formation of the NaF-rich SEI layer.The inhibition effect of the NaF-rich SEI layer for Na dendrites is verified by in situ optical microscopy observations. | Yangjun Mao Xiao Chen Hao Cheng Yunhao Lu Jian Xie Tao Zhang Jian Tu Xiongwen Xu Tiejun Zhu Xinbing Zhao | 2022 | Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,2: | 0 |

| 16 | Multiple unpinned Dirac points in group-Va single-layers with phosphorene structure显示文摘Emergent Dirac fermion states underlie many intriguing properties of graphene,and the search for them constitutes one strong motivation to explore two-dimensional(2D)allotropes of other elements.Phosphorene,the ultrathin layers of black phosphorous,has been a subject of intense investigations recently,and it was found that other group-Va elements could also form 2D layers with similar puckered lattice structure.Here,by a close examination of their electronic band structure evolution,we discover two types of Dirac fermion states emerging in the low-energy spectrum.One pair of(type-I)Dirac points is sitting on high-symmetry lines,while two pairs of(type-II)Dirac points are located at generic k-points,with different anisotropic dispersions determined by the reduced symmetries at their locations.Such fully-unpinned(type-II)2D Dirac points are discovered for the first time.In the absence of spin-orbit coupling(SOC),we find that each Dirac node is protected by the sublattice symmetry from gap opening,which is in turn ensured by any one of three point group symmetries.The SOC generally gaps the Dirac nodes,and for the type-I case,this drives the system into a quantum spin Hall insulator phase.We suggest possible ways to realise the unpinned Dirac points in strained phosphorene. | Yunhao Lu Di Zhou Guoqing Chang Shan Guan Weiguang Chen Yinzhu Jiang Jianzhong Jiang Xue-sen Wang Shengyuan A Yang Yuan Ping Feng Yoshiyuki Kawazoe Hsin Lin | 2016 | npj Computational Materials2016,,1: | 0 |
| 17 | Insight into the efficiency-stability-cost balanced organic solar cell based on a polymerized nonfused-ring electron acceptor显示文摘Organic solar cells(OSCs)have attracted extensive attention from both academia and industry in recent years due to their remarkable improvement in power conversion efficiency(PCE).However,the Golden Triangle(the balance of efficiency-stability-cost)required for large-scale industrialization of OSCs still remains a great challenge.Here,a new nonfused-ring electron acceptor(NFREA)BF and its polymerized counterpart PBF were designed and synthesized,and their photovoltaic performance,storage stability and material cost were systematically investigated.When blended with a widely-used polymer donor PBDB-T,the PBFbased all-polymer solar cell(all-PSC)displayed a record high PCE of 12.61%for polymerized NFREAs(PNFREAs)with an excellent stability(95.2%of initial PCE after 800 h storage),superior to the BF counterpart.Impressively,PBF-based allPSC possesses the highest industrial figure-of-merit(i-FOM)value of 0.309 based on an efficiency-stability-cost evaluation,in comparison to several representative OSC systems(such as PM6:Y6 and PBDB-T:PZ1).This work provides an insight into the balance of efficiency,stability,and cost,and also indicates that the PNFREAs are promising materials toward the commercial application of OSCs. | Xiaobin Gu Yanan Wei Guanyu Lu Ziyang Han Di Zheng Guanghao Lu Jianqi Zhang Zhixiang Wei Yunhao Cai Xin Zhang Hui Huang | 2023 | Aggregate2023,4,6: | 0 |
