| 1 | Progresses on microwave remote sensing of land surface parameters显示文摘Highly accurate observations at various scales on the land surface are urgently needed for the studies of many areas,such as hydrology,meteorology,and agriculture.With the rapid development of remote sensing techniques,remote sensing has had the capacity of monitoring many factors of the Earth's land surface.Especially,the space-borne microwave remote sensing systems have been widely used in the quantitative monitoring of global snow,soil moisture,and vegetation parameters with their all-weather,all-time observation capabilities and their sensitivities to the characteristics of land surface factors.Based on the electromagnetic theories and microwave radiative transfer equations,researchers have achieved great successes in the microwave remote sensing studies for different sensors in recent years.This article has systematically reviewed the progresses on five research areas including microwave theoretical modeling,microwave inversion on soil moisture,snow,vegetation and land surface temperatures.Through the further enrichment of remote sensing datasets and the development of remote sensing theories and inversion techniques,remote sensing including microwave remote sensing will play a more important role in the studies and applications of the Earth systems. | SHI JianCheng DU Yang DU JinYang JIANG LingMei CHAI LinNa MAO KeBiao XU Peng NI WenJian XIONG Chuan LIU Qiang LIU ChenZhou GUO Peng CUI Qian LI YunQing CHEN Jing WANG AnQi LUO HeJia WANG YinHui | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7: | 24 |
| 2 | Enhanced remediation of Cr(Ⅵ)-contaminated groundwater by coupling electrokinetics with ZVI/Fe_(3)O_(4)/AC-based permeable reactive barrier显示文摘Although widely used in permeation reaction barrier(PRB)for strengthening the removal of various heavy metals,zero-valent iron(ZVI)is limited by various inherent drawbacks,such as easy passivation and poor electron transfer.As a solution,a synergistic system with PRB and electrokinetics(PRB-EK)was established and applied for the efficient removal of Cr(Ⅵ)-contaminated groundwater.As the filling material of PRB,ZVI/Fe_(3)O_(4)/activated carbon(ZVI/Fe_(3)O_(4)/AC)composites were synthesized by ball milling and thermal treatment.A series of continuous flow column experiments and batch tests was conducted to evaluate the removal efficiency of Cr(Ⅵ).Results showed that the removal efficiency of Cr(Ⅵ)remained above 93%even when the bed volume(BV)reached 2000 under the operational parameters(iron/AC mass ratio,2:1;current,5 m A).The mechanism of Cr(Ⅵ)removal by the PRB-EK system was revealed through field emission scanning electron microscopy images,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Fe^(2+) concentration,and redox potential(E h)values.The key in Cr(Ⅵ)reduction was the Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+) cycle driven by the surface microelectrolysis of the composites.The application of an externally supplied weak direct current maintained the redox process by enhancing the electron transfer capability of the system,thereby prolonging the column lifetime.Cr(Ⅵ)chemical speciation was determined through sequential extraction,verifying the stability and safety of the system.These findings provide a scientific basis for PRB design and the in-situ remediation of Cr(Ⅵ)-contaminated groundwater. | Ruolin Cao Shiqing Liu Xinyu Yang Chunfeng Wang Yanbin Wang Wanfeng Wang Yunqing Pi | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,2: | 4 |
| 3 | Protection of Immuno-Compromised Mice from Lethal Infection of Klebsiella pneumonia by rAAV2-BPI23-Fcγ1 Gene Transfer显示文摘In previous research, chimerical BPI23-Fcγ1 gene which consisted of human bactericidal/permeability increasing protein (BPI) gene of encoding the functional N terminus (amino acid residues 1 to 199) of human BPI and Fcγ1 gene of encoding the Fc segment of human immunoglobulin G1 was successfully reconstructed within a recombinant adeno-associated virus serotype 2 (rAAV2) vector as rAAV2-BPI23-Fcγ1. Here, to evaluate the potentiality of applying gene therapy to gram negative bacterial (GNB) infection in high-risk patients, we investigated protection of immuno-compromised mice and immunocompetent mice from challenge with minimal lethal dose (MLD) Klebsiella pneumonia infection after rAAV2-BPI23-Fcγ1 gene transferred. The results showed that the survival rate of rAAV2-BPI23-Fcγ1 transferred immunocompetent mice as well as immuno-compromised mice (40.0% and 44.4%, respectively) were significantly higher than that of corresponding control mice (6.7% and 4.4%, respectively); the bacteria counting, level of endotoxin and proinflammatory cytokines in the rAAV2-BPI23- Fcγ1 transferred immuno-compromised mice were markedly lower than that of rAAV2-EGFP and rAAV2-Null transferred immuno-compromised mice. | 4 | Multi-class 12-lead ECG automatic diagnosis based on a novel subdomain adaptive deep network显示文摘Arrhythmia is a common type of cardiovascular disease,which has become the leading cause of global deaths.Recently,the automatic 12-lead ECG diagnosis system based on numerous labelled data has attracted increasing attention.However,labelling 12-lead ECG recordings is a complex and time-consuming task for clinicians.And then,the existence of data distribution differences limits the direct cross domain use of the trained model.Enlighted by subdomain adaptation methods,this paper designs a novel subdomain adaptative deep network(SADN)for excavating diagnosis knowledge from source domain datasets.Firstly,the convolutional layer,residual blocks and SE-Residual blocks are utilized for extracting meaningful deep features automatically.Additionally,the feature classifier uses these deep features for obtaining the final diagnosis predictions.Further,designing a novel loss function with local maximum mean discrepancy is utilized for restricting data distribution discrepancy from different datasets.Finally,the Clinical Outcomes in Digital ECG and 1st China Physiological Signal Challenge datasets are utilized for evaluating the superiority of SADN,which presents that SADN enhances algorithm performance on the unlabelled target domain dataset.Further,compared with the existing methods,the proposed network structure acquires better performance with a F1-macro of 89.43%and a F1-macro1 of 87.09%.Besides,among the 4 kinds of ECG abnormalities,the diagnostic effect of the SADN is better than that of cardiology residents.Thus,SADN has promising potential as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for the clinical environment. | JIN YanRui LI ZhiYuan LIU YunQing LIU JinLei QIN Chengjin ZHAO LiQun LIU ChengLiang | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,11: | 2 |
| 5 | Global cavitation patterns and corresponding hydrodynamics of the hydrofoil with leading edge roughness显示文摘The objective of this paper is to experimentally investigate the cavitation patterns and corresponding hydrodynamics of the hydrofoil with leading edge roughness.The aims are to(1)understand the effect of the leading edge roughness on the hydrodynamic performance,and(2)have a good knowledge of the interaction between the leading edge roughness and the cavitation patterns.Experimental results are indicated for the NACA 66 hydrofoils with and without leading edge roughness at different incidence angles for sub and cavitation conditions.The experiments are conducted in the EPFL high-speed cavitation tunnel(Avellan 2015).The results showed that the leading edge roughness has a significant effect on the hydrodynamic performance at the sub cavitation,suppressing the formation of the incipient cavitation.The lift coefficient of the hydrofoil without leading edge roughness is larger than that of the hydrofoil with leading edge roughness,while for the drag coefficients,the results are contrary for the lift coefficient,and the maximum lift-to-drag ratio angle is delayed for the hydrofoil with leading edge roughness.The leading edge roughness modified the local pressure distribution at the leading edge region,which in turn significantly increased the minimum pressure coefficient,hence the incipient cavitation number of the hydrofoil with leading edge roughness.The formation and evolution of the transient cavity for the cloud cavitation is little affected by the leading edge roughness. | Qian Chen Yunqing Liu Qin Wu Yong Wang Taotao Liu Guoyu Wang | 2020 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2020,36,6: | 2 |
| 6 | Two-grid methods for semi-linear elliptic interface problems by immersed finite element methods显示文摘In this paper,two-grid immersed finite element (IFE) algorithms are proposed and analyzed for semi-linear interface problems with discontinuous diffusion coefficients in two dimension.Because of the advantages of finite element (FE) formulation and the simple structure of Cartesian grids,the IFE discretization is used in this paper.Two-grid schemes are formulated to linearize the FE equations.It is theoretically and numerically illustrated that the coarse space can be selected as coarse as H =O(h^1/4)(or H =O(h^1/8)),and the asymptotically optimal approximation can be achieved as the nonlinear schemes.As a result,we can settle a great majority of nonlinear equations as easy as linearized problems.In order to estimate the present two-grid algorithms,we derive the optimal error estimates of the IFE solution in the L^p norm.Numerical experiments are given to verify the theorems and indicate that the present two-grid algorithms can greatly improve the computing efficiency. | Yang WANG Yanping CHEN Yunqing HUANG Ying LIU | 2019 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2019,40,11: | 2 |
