1Circular RNAs in pulmonary hypertension:Emerging biological concepts and potential mechanism显示文摘Circular RNAs(circRNAs)are endogenous RNAs with a covalently closed single-stranded transcript.They are a novel class of genomic regulators that are linked to many important development and disease processes and are being pursued as clinical and therapeutic targets.Using the most powerful RNA sequencing and bioinformatics techniques,a large number of circRNAs have been identified and further functional studies have been performed.It is known that circRNAs act as potential biomarkers,sponges for microRNAs(miRNAs)and RNA-binding proteins(RBPs),and regulators of mRNA transcription.They also participate in the translation of peptides or proteins.Many types of circRNAs are dysregulated in plasma or lung tissues,and they may be involved in regulating the proliferation and apoptosis of pulmonary artery endothelial cells(PAECs)and pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs),leading to pulmonary vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension(PH).One possible mechanism is that circRNAs can regulate the function of PAECs and PASMCs by acting as miRNA sponge.However,other potential mechanisms of action of circRNAs are still being actively explored in PH.This paper presents a systematic review of the biogenesis,biological characterization,relevant underlying functions,and future perspectives for studies of circRNAs in the pathogenesis of PH.Qian Wang Yuanyuan Sun Qinhua Zhao Wenhui Wu Lan Wang Yuqing Miao Ping Yuan 2022Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,1:3
2Aquaporin-1 Expressed in Cultured Human Trabecular Meshwork Cells显示文摘Objective:To determine if aquaporin-1 could be detected in cultures of human trabecularshwork cells. Methods: Using primers specific for aquaporin-1, reverse transcription combined withpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) yielded a product and its size with total RNAprepared from the human trabecular meshwork cells. SDS-PAGE and immunoblottingwere also used in this study to detect the specific water channel.Results: The presence of this product and its size (298 base pairs) are consistent withthat of an aquaporin-1 message in these cells. A band of 28 kD in agreement with themolecular size of aquaporin-1 was showed in a film by immunoblotting.Conclusion: The presence of aquaporin-1 in human trabecular meshwork cells, thepredominant cell-type of the primary outflow region of the human eye, suggests that waterchannels may be involved in the movement of aqueous fluid out of the eye. 3Phacoemulsification in Patients with Secondary Glaucoma Caused by Uveitis显示文摘Purposes: To evaluate the effect of phacoemulsification in the patients with uveitis,secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract. Methods: Phacoemulsification and implantation of a foldable intraocular len was performed in 12 patients(13 eyes) with uveitis, secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract. The complications, intraocular pressures (IOP), and visual acuity were observed postoperatively. Results: No severe complication was found in the patients postoperatively or within the operation procedure. The visual acuity was improved after the operation ( P < 0.05) .The intraocular pressures and/or the number of antiglaucoma medications reduced in 3months of the follow-up time. Conclusion: phacoemulsification is the best way to treat the patients with secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract caused by uveitis. 6Vitro Culture and Immunohistochemical Identification of Astrocytes of Infantile Optic Nerve显示文摘Objective: To culture astrocytes of optic nerve and to establish the cell lines for further study of healing process after optic nerve trauma.Methods: Optic nerve astrocytes of infantile and adults with sudden death were cultured by tissue inoculation or tissue digestion with 0. 25% Trypsin and 0. 06% EDTA. The second and fourth passage cells were stained with HE and and- GFAP, S-100 protein, Vi-mentin, and CD34 antibodies.Results: The trypsinized astrocytes of infantile optic nerve reached confluence in 7 days, but the astrocytes of adults weren't successfully cultured. The cultured cells were in polygonal shape with processes; the cytoplasm was abundant and pink; the cells had light-blue nuclei. These cells were positive in GFAP, S-100 protein and vimentin staining, and negative in CD34 staining.Conclusions: The results showed that astrocytes of infantile optic nerve can be successfully cultured and trypsinization is a better method than tissue inoculation. 7ARM3D:Attention-based relation module for indoor 3D object detection显示文摘Relation contexts have been proved to be useful for many challenging vision tasks.In the field of3D object detection,previous methods have been taking the advantage of context encoding,graph embedding,or explicit relation reasoning to extract relation contexts.However,there exist inevitably redundant relation contexts due to noisy or low-quality proposals.In fact,invalid relation contexts usually indicate underlying scene misunderstanding and ambiguity,which may,on the contrary,reduce the performance in complex scenes.Inspired by recent attention mechanism like Transformer,we propose a novel 3D attention-based relation module(ARM3D).It encompasses objectaware relation reasoning to extract pair-wise relation contexts among qualified proposals and an attention module to distribute attention weights towards different relation contexts.In this way,ARM3D can take full advantage of the useful relation contexts and filter those less relevant or even confusing contexts,which mitigates the ambiguity in detection.We have evaluated the effectiveness of ARM3D by plugging it into several state-of-the-art 3D object detectors and showing more accurate and robust detection results.Extensive experiments show the capability and generalization of ARM3D on 3D object detection.Our source code is available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460as6vf0okfkvckb6pqw.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/lanlan96/ARM3D.Yuqing Lan Yao Duan Chenyi Liu Chenyang Zhu Yueshan Xiong Hui Huang Kai Xu 2022Computational Visual Media2022,8,3:0

10TCLBM:A Task Chain-Based Load Balancing Algorithm for Microservices显示文摘The microservices architecture has been proposed to overcome the drawbacks of the traditional monolithic architecture.Scalability is one of the most attractive features of microservices.Scaling in the microservices architecture requires the scaling of specified services only,rather than the entire application.Scaling services can be achieved by deploying the same service multiple times on different physical machines.However,problems with load balancing may arise.Most existing solutions of microservices load balancing focus on individual tasks and ignore dependencies between these tasks.In the present paper,we propose TCLBM,a task chainbased load balancing algorithm for microservices.When an Application Programming Interface(API)request is received,TCLBM chooses target services for all tasks of this API call and achieves load balancing by evaluating the system resource usage of each service instance.TCLBM reduces the API response time by reducing data transmissions between physical machines.We use three heuristic algorithms,namely,Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),Simulated Annealing(SA),and Genetic Algorithm(GA),to implement TCLBM,and comparison results reveal that GA performs best.Our findings show that TCLBM achieves load balancing among service instances and reduces API response times by up to 10%compared with existing methods.You Liang Yuqing Lan 2021Tsinghua Science and Technology2021,26,3:0
