1Landscape Pattern of Ancient Terraces in Huangping County and Slopeto-Terrace Strategy显示文摘Formation and development of ancient terraces proves that slope-to-terrace project is a signifi cant measure for conserving water and soil in mountainous areas. UAV remote sensing technology was applied to obtain RS images with a resolution ratio of 0.1–0.5 m, Arc GIS was applied for data processing, and Fragstats3.3 was used to calculate characteristic indexes, to study landscape pattern of 4 ancient terraces in Huangping County, Guizhou Province. The results showed that terrace landscapes and woodland landscapes in the study area account for nearly 80% of the whole landscape(terrace 30%, woodland 50%); mean area of single fi eld is mainly concentrated between 100 m^2 and 200 m^2, and height between 0.7 m and 1.7 m, breadth 0.5 m and 0.6 m; most terraces have a gradient of 5–25°, accounting for 70% of the total number of fi eld. 5Heat and mass transfer model optimization and annual energy efficiency analysis for energy recovery indirect evaporative cooling显示文摘Indirect evaporative cooling(IEC)is a kind of high efficiency,energy-saving and environmental protection cooling technology,which has been widely used in data centers and other fields in recent years.In this paper,the optimized two-dimensional non-condensation state model of indirect evaporative cooling was proposed.Meanwhile the computer program was updated to solve the developed mathematical model under variable fresh air conditions.The optimized model was verified by the experimental data,and the maximum deviation was only 4.6%.Based on the modified model and the annual hourly meteorological parameters in Tianjin,China,it was analyzed the optimal heat transfer area of IEC used as fresh air pre-cooling unit under various air volumes to provide references for system design and equipment selection.Finally,taking an IEC-primary return air conditioning system of a gymnasium as an example,the hourly energy-saving effect of whole year was simulated by the developed IEC model.The simulation results showed that IEC could control the fresh air temperature below 27℃ and the moisture content below 18 g/kg throughout the year,and undertook 102.6% of the total fresh air cooling load.The findings are useful in future system optimization and design of IEC equipment.Qilong Liu Chunmei Guo Zhenjing Wu Yuwen You Yan Li 2022Building Simulation2022,15,7:0
6Bioorthogonal microglia-inspired mesenchymal stem cell bioengineering system creates livable niches for enhancing ischemic stroke recovery via the hormesis显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)experience substantial viability issues in the stroke infarct region,limiting their therapeutic efficacy and clinical translation.High levels of deadly reactive oxygen radicals(ROS)and proinflammatory cytokines(PC)in the infarct milieu kill transplanted MSCs,whereas low levels of beneficial ROS and PC stimulate and improve engrafted MSCs’viability.Based on the intrinsic hormesis effects in cellular biology,we built a microglia-inspired MSC bioengineering system to transform detrimental high-level ROS and PC into vitality enhancers for strengthening MSC therapy.This system is achieved by bioorthogonally arming metabolic glycoengineered MSCs with microglial membrane-coated nanoparticles and an antioxidative extracellular protective layer.In this system,extracellular ROSscavenging and PC-absorbing layers effectively buffer the deleterious effects and establish a microlivable niche at the level of a single MSC for transplantation.Meanwhile,the infarct’s inanimate milieu is transformed at the tissue level into a new living niche to facilitate healing.The engineered MSCs achieved viability five times higher than natural MSCs at seven days after transplantation and exhibited a superior therapeutic effect for stroke recovery up to 28 days.This vitality-augmented system demonstrates the potential to accelerate the clinical translation of MSC treatment and boost stroke recovery.Jianpei Xu Yinzhe Sun Yang You Yuwen Zhang Dan Huang Songlei Zhou Yipu Liu Shiqiang Tong Fenfen Ma Qingxiang Song Chengxiang Dai Suke Li Jigang Lei Zhihua Wang Xiaoling Gao Jun Chen 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,3:0
