A station integrated system is proposed,w hich can be configured,connected and extended to all kinds of observation equipment. And the integrated processor is designed,supporting a variety of communication interface standards. Flexible configuration,connection and expansion betw een conventional and new type of meteorological observation equipment are supported. It is capable for online calibration and maintenance of observation equipment. | 2 | Changes in Extreme Maximum Temperature Events and Population Exposure in China under Global Warming Scenarios of 1.5 and 2.0°C: Analysis Using the Regional Climate Model COSMO-CLM显示文摘We used daily maximum temperature data(1986–2100) from the COSMO-CLM(COnsortium for Small-scale MOdeling in CLimate Mode) regional climate model and the population statistics for China in 2010 to determine the frequency, intensity, coverage, and population exposure of extreme maximum temperature events(EMTEs) with the intensity–area–duration method. Between 1986 and 2005(reference period), the frequency, intensity, and coverage of EMTEs are 1330–1680 times yr^(–1), 31.4–33.3°C, and 1.76–3.88 million km^2, respectively. The center of the most severe EMTEs is located in central China and 179.5–392.8 million people are exposed to EMTEs annually. Relative to 1986–2005, the frequency, intensity, and coverage of EMTEs increase by 1.13–6.84, 0.32–1.50, and15.98%–30.68%, respectively, under 1.5°C warming; under 2.0°C warming, the increases are 1.73–12.48, 0.64–2.76,and 31.96%–50.00%, respectively. It is possible that both the intensity and coverage of future EMTEs could exceed the most severe EMTEs currently observed. Two new centers of EMTEs are projected to develop under 1.5°C warming, one in North China and the other in Southwest China. Under 2.0°C warming, a fourth EMTE center is projected to develop in Northwest China. Under 1.5 and 2.0°C warming, population exposure is projected to increase by23.2%–39.2% and 26.6%–48%, respectively. From a regional perspective, population exposure is expected to increase most rapidly in Southwest China. A greater proportion of the population in North, Northeast, and Northwest China will be exposed to EMTEs under 2.0°C warming. The results show that a warming world will lead to increases in the intensity, frequency, and coverage of EMTEs. Warming of 2.0°C will lead to both more severe EMTEs and the exposure of more people to EMTEs. | 3 | Measuring the resilience of an airport network显示文摘Resilience is the ability of a system to withstand and stay operational in the face of an unexpected disturbance or unpredicted changes. Recent studies on air transport system resilience focus on topology characteristics after the disturbance and measure the robustness of the network with respect to connectivity. The dynamic processes occurring at the node and link levels are often ignored. Here we analyze airport network resilience by considering both structural and dynamical aspects. We develop a simulation model to study the operational performance of the air transport system when airports operate at degraded capacity rather than completely shutting down. Our analyses show that the system deteriorates soon after disruptive events occur but returns to an acceptable level after a period of time. Static resilience of the airport network is captured by a phase transition in which a small change to airport capacity will result in a sharp change in system punctuality. After the phase transition point, decreasing airport capacity has little impact on system performance. Critical airports which have significant influence on the performance of whole system are identified, and we find that some of these cannot be detected based on the analysis of network structural indicators alone. | 7 | Coordinated development of land multi-function space: An analytical framework for matching the supply of resources and environment with the use of land space for ecological protection, agricultural production and urban construction显示文摘Based on the carrying capacity of the resources and the environment,this article defines the connotation of the land multifunctional space(LMFS)from three aspects,ecological protection,agricultural production and urban construction,in the new era of land space planning system.Moreover,a framework is constructed for the coordinated development of the multi-functional oriented space to match the use of land space(ULS)with the supply of resources and environment(SRE).Based on this,the technology and methods of comprehensive evaluation,dominance recognition,and matching relationship division functions of the use of land space(FULS)and functions of the supply of resources and environment(FSRE)are discussed.The advantageous functions of the use of land space(AFULS)and advantageous functions of the supply of resources and environment(AFSRE)are also identified in the study area.A LMFS coordinated development system integrating“function position-comprehensive partition-regulation strategy”is proposed.Through the empirical study of Shandong province,we found that,first,the FULS of ecological protection space in the province is mainly found in high value areas,and the FSRE is mainly in low value areas,which has certain complementarity in the space.The FULS of agricultural production space is mainly observed in high value areas,the FSRE is mainly in middle value areas,and the spatial distribution is balanced and staggered.The FULS of the urban construction space and the FSRE are mainly in middle values areas,and the spatial distribution is basically similar.Second,the FULS in the study area is dominated by the single advantage of agricultural production and urban construction,while the FSRE has a relatively balanced distribution of the advantages of ecological protection,single agricultural production and compound advantages of agricultural production and urban construction,and urban construction and ecological protection.The matching between the two is mainly at high and middle levels.Specifically,70%of the province’s land space still has a certain development and utilization potential,and 30%of ULS intensity is close to or exceeds the resource and environment carrying capacity.Third,considering the comprehensive impact of resource endowment,social and economic development and policy and institutional environment on different matching relationships,this paper constructs the land spatial development strategic pattern of“two screens-seven regions-multicore”positioning and“four regions-eight categories”hierarchical area of Shandong at the macro level,and puts forward a differentiated land space development strategy. | QU Yanbo ZHANG Yanjun WANG Shilei SHANG Ran ZONG Haining ZHAN Lingyun | 2023 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,2: | 1 |

| 9 | Early-Life Gut Microbiota Governs Susceptibility to Colitis via Microbial-Derived Ether Lipids显示文摘Localized intestine inflammation could induce short-term increases in colonic oxygenation and leads to increases in the aerobic bacteria population and reduction in the anaerobic bacteria population by changing the intestinal environment.However,the mechanisms involved and the associated functions of intestinal anaerobes in gut health still remain unclear.Here,we found that early-life depletion of gut microbiota exacerbated later colitis,while mid-life microbiota depletion showed partially reduced colitis.Notably,we observed that early-life gut microbiota depletion confers susceptibility to ferroptosis in colitis.In contrast,restitution of early-life microbiota conferred protection against colitis and inhibited ferroptosis triggered by gut microbiota dysbiosis.Similarly,colonization with anaerobic microbiota from young mice suppressed colitis.These results may attribute to high abundance of plasmalogen-positive(plasmalogen synthase[PlsA/R]-positive)anaerobes and plasmalogens(one of the common ether lipids)in young mice but reduced abundance in the development of inflammatory bowel disease.Early-life anaerobic bacteria elimination also resulted in the aggravation of colitis,while this aggravation phenotype was reverted by plasmalogen administration.Interestingly,plasmalogens inhibited ferroptosis triggered by microbiota dysbiosis.We further find that the alkenyl-ether group of plasmalogens was critical to colitis prevention and ferroptosis inhibition.These data point to one of the mechanisms by which the gut microbiota controls susceptibility to colitis and ferroptosis early in life via microbial-derived ether lipids. | Yanjun Liu Chunhua Jiao Tao Zhang Xue Li Panpan Li Meishan Lu Zhan Ye Yanpeng Du Runfeng Du Wenlong Zhang Jie Xu Zhaojun Zheng Yongjiang Xu Changhu Xue Yi Zhang Yuanfa Liu | 2023 | Research2023,,3: | 0 |
| 10 | Estimating the risk of completion total thyroidectomy using real-world data to guide initial surgical decision-making for patients with clinical low-risk papillary thyroid carcinoma显示文摘Background:Continuing controversy exists in diferent guidelines’recommendations regarding whether total thyroidectomy(TT)or lobectomy is the optimal surgery for patients with low-risk papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Diverse perceptions of the risk of completion TT after lobectomy are the main debate between guidelines and institutions.Methods:Patients who underwent thyroidectomy and prophylactic central lymph node dissection for≤4 cm PTC(January 2007 to December 2020)by high-volume surgeons were included.Patients with preoperatively known highrisk characteristics or suspicious bilateral multifocality were excluded.The pathological fndings were defned as the risk stratifcations of completion TT from low to high to evaluate which initial surgical procedure could allow more patients to meet the criteria of optimal surgical extent.Results:Of 4965 consecutive patients met lobectomy criteria as the initial operation.Aggressive histological subtypes were found in 2.5%of patients,T3b disease in 1.1%,T4 disease in 3.1%,LNs involved≤5 in 29.5%,LNs involved>5 in 3.1%,and incidental bilateral multifocality in 7.9%.According to our defned risk stratifcation system,TT and lobectomy would be considered the optimal initial procedure in 12.0%and 67.2%PTC patients with a tumor≤1 cm and 28.7%and 36.6%in the 1-4 cm groups in our real-world cohort,respectively.Conclusion:Lobectomy alone,as an initial procedure,could allow more low-risk PTC patients with a tumor either≤1 cm or 1-4 cm to achieve the optimal surgical extent.Moreover,surgeons should balance the high-risk characteristics and complication risks during surgery to re-evaluate surgical decision-making. | Wen Liu Xiangxiang Zhan Zhizhong Dong Yanjun Su Jianming Zhang Jun Qian Yunhai Ma Chang Diao Ruochuan Cheng | 2022 | Holistic Integrative Oncology2022,1,1: | 0 |
