| 1 | Seafloor hydrothermal activity and polymetallic sulfide exploration on the southwest Indian ridge显示文摘Polymetallic sulfides have attracted more attentions,which are regarded as one of the potential seabed mineral resources for their high grade of precious metal elements such as Cu,Zn,Pb,Au,and Ag.Since2007,there are four China dayang cruises(CDCs)with eight legs totally,which have been carried out to investigate polymetallic sulfides on the southwest Indian ridge(SWIR),and eight hydrothermal vents have been found.In2011,the China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association(COMRA)and International Seabed Authority(ISA)signed a 15-year contract for exploration for polymetallic sulfides located on the SWIR between 46°S and 53°S.The area allocated to the COMRA is approximately 10,000 km2.In this paper,we review the recent research advances about hydrothermal activity of the SWIR by the CDCs.As for the sulfides exploration in the future,some aspects should be emphasized,such as the controlling factors of sulfide mineralization on the SWIR,prospecting methods of inactive and buried sulfide deposits,sulfides resources assessment method,and the nearbottom sulfides exploration technology systems. | Chunhui Tao Huaiming Li Xiaobing Jin Jianping Zhou Tao Wu Yonghua He Xianming Deng Chunhua Gu Guoyin Zhang Weiyong Liu | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,19: | 25 |
| 2 | Substance P-modified human serum albumin nanoparticles loaded with paclitaxel for targeted therapy of glioma显示文摘The blood–brain barrier(BBB) and the poor ability of many drugs to cross that barrier greatly limits the efficacy of chemotherapies for glioblastoma multiforme(GBM). The present study exploits albumin as drug delivery vehicle to promote the chemotherapeutic efficacy of paclitaxel(PTX) by improving the stability and targeting efficiency of PTX/albumin nanoparticles(NPs). Here we characterize PTX-loaded human serum albumin(HSA) NPs stabilized with intramolecular disulfide bonds and modified with substance P(SP) peptide as the targeting ligand. The fabricated SP-HSA-PTX NPs exhibited satisfactory drug-loading content(7.89%) and entrapment efficiency(85.7%) with a spherical structure(about 150 nm) and zeta potential of -12.0 mV. The in vitro drug release from SP-HSA-PTX NPs occurred in a redox-responsive manner. | 3 | Effects of melatonin implantation on cashmere yield,fibre characteristics,duration of cashmere growth as well as growth and reproductive performance of Inner Mongolian cashmere goats显示文摘Background:Exogenous melatonin could induce cashmere growth.However,induced growth of cashmere fleece by melatonin implants cannot be combined with the typical growth,resulting in earlier shedding followed by another cycle of cashmere growth.To address this issue,we examine the effects on the cashmere yield,fibre characteristics,and the growth and reproductive performance of cashmere goats of planned administration of melatonin.Methods:Eighteen half-sib,female goats were assigned to two treatments(n = 9) including a control and a treatment where melatonin(2 mg/kg BW) was implanted at the end of April and end of June.Cashmere growth and shedding were observed for approximately 1 year following implantation.Fibre samples were collected monthly to determine cumulative cashmere length.Initiation and cessation dates for cashmere growth as well as the rate of cashmere growth were calculated.Cashmere yield,weight gain of dam,kidding date,litter size,and birth weight were also recorded.Results:Melatonin implantation increased cashmere yield by 34.5%(control 553.7 g vs.melatonin 745.0 g;P< 0.01),cashmere length by 21.3%(control 95.2 mm vs.melatonin 115.4 mm;P < 0.01),and decreased fibre diameter by 4.4%(control 14.6 μm vs.melatonin 14.0 μm;P < 0.03).In melatonin-treated goats,the average initiation date was earlier than in control goats(May 18,2013 vs.July 2,2013;P< 0.01) but there was a similar cessation date(March 22,2014 vs.March 27,2014).Consequently,the duration of cashmere growth was longer in melatonin-treated goats than in control goats(307 vs.270 days;P< 0.01).The final BW,average daily gain,kidding date,litter size,and birth weight were not influenced by melatonin implantation.Conclusions:These data indicate that melatonin implantation(2 mg/kg BW) on two occasions(late April and June)increased cashmere yield by combining the induced growth of cashmere fleece with the typical growth and decreased the fibre diameter without changing dam growth rate or reproductive performance. | Chunhui Duan Jianhai Xu Changmian Sun Zhihai Jia Wei Zhang | 2015 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4: | 18 |

| 5 | The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. | 10 | Social Network Information Propagation Model Based on Individual Behavior显示文摘In this paper, we discuss building an information dissemination model based on individual behavior. We analyze the individual behavior related to information dissemination and the factors that affect the sharing behavior of individuals, and we define and quantify these factors. We consider these factors as characteristic attributes and use a Bayesian classifier to classify individuals. Considering the forwarding delay characteristics of information dissemination, we present a random time generation method that simulates the delay of information dissemination. Given time and other constraints, a user might not look at all the information that his/her friends published. Therefore, this paper proposes an algorithm to predict information visibility, i.e., it estimates the probability that an individual will see the information. Based on the classification of individual behavior and combined with our random time generation and information visibility prediction method, we propose an information dissemination model based on individual behavior. The model can be used to predict the scale and speed of information propagation. We use data sets from Sina Weibo to validate and analyze the prediction methods of the individual behavior and information dissemination model based on individual behavior. A previously proposedinformation dissemination model provides the foundation for a subsequent study on the evolution of the network and social network analysis. | 13 | Spatial-temporal Evolution and Determinants of the Belt and Road Initiative: A Maximum Entropy Gravity Model Approach显示文摘The spatial interaction model is an effective way to explore the geographical disparities inherent in the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI) by simulating spatial flows. The traditional gravity model implies the hypothesis of equilibrium points without any reference to when or how to achieve it. In this paper, a dynamic gravity model was established based on the Maximum Entropy(MaxEnt) theory to estimate and monitor the interconnection intensity and dynamic characters of bilateral relations. In order to detect the determinants of interconnection intensity, a Geodetector method was applied to identify and evaluate the determinants of spatial networks in five dimensions. The empirical study clearly demonstrates a heterogeneous and non-circular spatial structure. The main driving forces of spatial-temporal evolution are foreign direct investment, tourism and railway infrastructure construction, while determinants in different sub-regions show obvious spatial differentiation. Southeast Asian countries are typically multi-island area where aviation infrastructure plays a more important role. North and Central Asian countries regard oil as a pillar industry where power and port facilities have a greater impact on the interconnection. | 14 | Mesenteric lymph reperfusion may exacerbate brain injury in a rat model of superior mesenteric artery occlusion shock显示文摘BACKGROUND:The intestinal lymphatic pathway and intestinal ischemia/reperfusion are mainly involved in mesenteric lymph duct ligation or drainage;moreover,intervention by reducing the lymph liquid reflux might relieve lung and other organ dysfunction induced by intestinal ischemia/reperfusion;however,research addressing mesenteric lymph reperfusion (MLR) and brain injury has not yet to be reported.OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of MLR on brain tissue in a rat model of superior mesenteric artery occlusion (SMAO) shock,and to explore the molecular mechanism of MLR.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal experiment at a neuro-pathophysiology level was performed at the Institute of Microcirculation,Hebei North University;Department of Pathophysiology,Basic Medical College;Department of Pathology,the First Hospital of Hebei North University between December 2007 and March 2009.MATERIALS:Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) standard was provided by the National Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products;lactic acid (LA),superoxide dismutase (SOD),malonaldehyde (MDA),nitrogen monoxidum (NO),nitric oxide synthase (NOS),myeloperoxidase (MPO) and ATPase assay kits were provided by Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute,China.METHODS:A total of 24 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups.In the sham-surgery group (n=6),both the mesenteric lymph duct and the superior mesenteric artery were not blocked;in the MLR group (n=6),the mesenteric lymph duct was occluded for 1 hour followed by 2-hour reperfusion;in the SMAO group (n=6),the superior mesenteric artery was occluded for 1 hour followed by 2-hour reperfusion;in the MLR + SMAO group (n=6),both the mesenteric lymph duct and superior mesenteric artery were occluded for 1 hour followed by 2-hour reperfusion.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Mean arterial blood pressure prior to and following ischemia/reperfusion;brain tissue morphology levels of LA,MDA,SOD,NO,NOS,MPO,ATPase and ATP following reperfusion.RESULTS:MLR did not cause changes in mean arterial blood pressure,brain tissue morphology,LA,MDA,NO,ATP,SOD,NOS,MPO and ATPase.However,SMAO caused a rapid decrease and gradual increase of mean arterial blood pressure.Neuronal necrosis,degeneration and swelling were observed in brain tissue.Contents of MDA,NO,LA and ATP as well as activities of NOS and MPO were significantly increased (P < 0.05),but activities of SOD and Na+-K+-ATPase were significantly decreased (P < 0.05).MLR aggravated neuronal damage in a rat model of SMAO shock.Following MLR,mean arterial blood pressure was significantly decreased (P < 0.05),contents of MDA and NO as well as activities of NOS and MPO were significantly increased (P < 0.05),but activities of Ca2+-ATPase,Mg2+-ATPase and Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase as well as ATP content were significantly decreased (P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:MLR aggravates brain injury in a rat model of SMAO shock,which correlates with oxygen-derived free radical injury,NO synthesis and release,sequestration of neutrophilic granulocytes,decreasing activity of cell membrane pumps and energy metabolism dysfunction.Pathogenesis of the intestinal lymphatic pathway should be thoroughly investigated to prevent ischemia/reperfusion injury. | Zigang Zhao Chunyu Niu Aimin Shang Jiaming Tian Rui Han Chunhui Zhang Yuping Zhang Jing Zhang | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,9: | 7 |
| 15 | Influence of lactic acid bacteria on physicochemical indexes,sensory and flavor characteristics of fermented sea buckthorn juice显示文摘Sea buckthorn has been proved to be a good substrate for lactic acid bacteria(LAB),but the research on the fermentation of sea buckthorn juice(SBJ)by LAB is still rare.This study was designed to determine the performance of fermented SBJ(FSBJ)in four LAB and investigate the sensory aspects of FSBJ.The results showed that the utilization rates of reducing sugar,titratable acid,and malic acid of SBJ fermented by Lactobacillus casei(SBJLc)were the highest and that lactic acid content was the greatest.The organic acid compositions of the four kinds of FSBJs were also different.The viable counts of all FSBJs was greater than 7 log CFU/mL,and that the viable count of SBJ fermented by SBJLc was the highest.In this study,the Electronic tongue combined with Electronic nose was used for the first time to study SBJ.Results showed that compared with the control,the response value of Sourness was significantly increased,while Bitterness and Astringency were significantly decreased.There was a significant difference in four FSBJs.The results of the electronic nose showed that SBJ fermented by Lactobacillus plantarum LP56(SBJLp)could be well identified by sensors sensitive to aromatic substances.The volatile compound contents before and after fermentation were significantly different,the highest being SBJLp.Finally,the results of sensory evaluation experiments showed that SBJLp was the most acceptable to consumers in terms of sensory evaluation. | Yuanye Liu Jie Sheng Jingjing Li Panling Zhang Fengxian Tang Chunhui Shan | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,46,2: | 6 |

With the rapid dissemination of information over the Internet, the traditional isolation and vaccination strategies can no longer achieve satisfactory results. A positive guidance technology for public opinion diffusion is urgently needed. First, based on the analysis of influence network controllability and public opinion diffusion, a positive guidance technology is proposed and a new model that supports external control is established. Second, in combination with the influence network, a public opinion propagation influence network model is designed and a public opinion control point selection algorithm(POCDNSA) is proposed. Finally, An experiment verified that this algorithm can lead to users receiving the correct guidance quickly and accurately, reducing the impact of false public opinion information; the effect of CELF is no better than that of the POCDNSA algorithm. The main reason is that the former is completely based on the diffusion cascade information contained in the training data, but does not consider the specific situation of the network structure and the diffusion of public opinion information in the closed set. thus, the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm is proven. | 20 | Alkali metal salts doped pluronic block polymers as electron injection/transport layers for high performance polymer light-emitting diodes显示文摘A series of alkali metal salts doped pluronic block copolymer F127 were used as electron injection/transport layers (ETLs) for polymer light-emitting diodes with poly[2-(4-(3′,7′-dimethyloctyloxy)-phenyl)-p-phenylenevinylene] (P-PPV) as the emission layer. It was found that the electron transport capability of F127 can be effectively enhanced by doping with alkali metal salts. By using Li2CO3 (15%) doped F127 as ETL, the resulting device exhibited improved performance with a maximum luminous efficiency (LE) of 13.59 cd/A and a maximum brightness of 5529 cd/m2, while the device with undoped F127 as ETL only showed a maximum LE of 8.78 cd/A and a maximum brightness of 2952 cd/m2. The effects of the doping concentration, cations and anions of the alkali metal salts on the performance of the resulting devices were investigated.
