2Leaching and Redistribution of Nutrients in Surface Layer of Red Soils in Southeast China显示文摘The leaching and redistribution of nutrients in the surface layer of 4 types of red soils in Southeast China were studied with a lysimeter experiment under filed conditions.Results showed that the leaching concentrated in the rainy season(from April to June).Generally,the leaching of soil nutrients from the surface layer of red soils was in the order of Ca>Mg>K>NO3-N,In fertilization treatment,the total amount of soil nutrients leached out of the surface layer in a red soil derived from granite was the highest in all soils.The uptake by grass decreased the leaching of fertilizer ions in surface layer,particularly for No3-N,Soil total N and exchangeable K,Ca and Mg in the surface layer decreased with leaching and grass uptake during the 2 years without new fertilization of urea,Ca(H2PO4)2,KCl,CaCO3 and MgCO3,Ca moved from the application layer(0-5cm) of fertilizer and accumulated in the 10-30cm depth in the soils studied except that derved from quaternary red clay.The deficiency of soil exchangeable K will become a serious degradation process facing the Southeast China.SUN BO ZHANG TAOLIN and ZHAO QIGUO(Institute of Soil Science, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, P.O. 8Distinctive electrochemical performance of novel Fe-based Li-rich cathode material prepared by molten salt method for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘For constructing next-generation lithium-ion batteries with advanced performances,pursuit of highcapacity Li-rich cathodes has caused considerable attention.So far,the low discharge specific capacity and serious capacity fading are strangling the development of Fe-based Li-rich materials.To activate the extra-capacity of Fe-based Li-rich cathode materials,a facile molten salt method is exploited using an alkaline mixture of LiOH–LiNO3–Li2O2 in this work.The prepared Li1.09(Fe0.2Ni0.3Mn0.5)0.91O2 material yields high discharge specific capacity and good cycling stability.The discharge specific capacity shows an upward tendency at 0.1 C.After 60 cycles,a high reversible specific capacity of ~250 m Ah g-1is delivered.The redox of Fe3+/Fe4+and Mn3+/Mn4+are gradually activated during cycling.Notably,the redox reaction of Fe2+/Fe3+can be observed reversibly below 2 V,which is quite different from the material prepared by a traditional co-precipitation method.The stable morphology of fine nanoparticles(100–300 nm)is considered benefiting for the distinctive electrochemical performances of Li1.09(Fe0.2Ni0.3Mn0.5)0.91O2.This study demonstrates that molten salt method is an inexpensive and effective approach to activate the extra capacity of Fe-based Li-rich cathode material for high-performance lithium-ion batteries.Taolin Zhao Rixin Ji Hedi Yang Yuxia Zhang Xiuguo Sun Yanting Li Li Li Renjie Chen 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,6:1

10Chronic pulmonary bacterial infection facilitates breast cancer lung metastasis by recruiting tumor-promoting MHCII^(hi) neutrophils显示文摘Breast cancer can metastasize to various organs,including the lungs.The immune microenvironment of the organs to be metastasized plays a crucial role in the metastasis of breast cancer.Infection with pathogens such as viruses and bacteria can alter the immune status of the lung.However,the effect of chronic inflammation caused by bacteria on the formation of a premetastatic niche within the lung is unclear,and the contribution of specific immune mediators to tumor metastasis also remains largely undetermined.Here,we used a mouse model revealing that chronic pulmonary bacterial infection augmented breast cancer lung metastasis by recruiting a distinct subtype of tumor-infiltrating MHCII^(hi) neutrophils into the lung,which exhibit cancer-promoting properties.Functionally,MHCII^(hi) neutrophils enhanced the lung metastasis of breast cancer in a cell-intrinsic manner.Furthermore,we identified CCL2 from lung tissues as an important environmental signal to recruit and maintain MHCII^(hi) neutrophils.Our findings clearly link bacterial-immune crosstalk to breast cancer lung metastasis and define MHCII^(hi) neutrophils as the principal mediator between chronic infection and tumor metastasis.Teng Ma Yu Tang Taolin Wang Yang Yang Yige Zhang Ruihuan Wang Yongxin Zhang Yi Li Mingbo Wu Miao Tang Xueli Hu Chaoyu Zou Yuan Ren Huan Liu Qianhua Zhang Heyue Li Min Wu Jing Li Xikun Zhou 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9:0

13Altered cortical morphology in major depression disorder patients with suicidality显示文摘Background:Major depressive disorder(MDD)is associated with high risk of suicide,but the biological under-pinnings of suicidality in MDD patients are far from conclusive.Previous neuroimaging studies using voxel-based morphometry(VBM)demonstrated that depressed individuals with suicidal thoughts or behaviors exhibit specific cortical structure alterations.To complement VBM findings,surface-based morphometry(SBM)can pro-vide more details into gray matter structure,including the cortical complexity,cortical thickness and sulcal depth for brain images.Objective:This study aims to use SBM to investigate cortical morphology alterations to obtain evidence for neuroanatomical alterations in depressed patients with suicidality.Methods:Here,3D T1-weighted MR images of brain from 39 healthy controls,40 depressed patients without suicidality(patient controls),and 39 with suicidality(suicidal groups)were analyzed based on SBM to estimate the fractal dimension,gyrification index,sulcal depth,and cortical thickness using the Computational Anatomy Toolbox.Correlation analyses were performed between clinical data and cortical surface measurements from patients.Results:Surface-based morphometry showed decreased sulcal depth in the parietal,frontal,limbic,occipital and temporal regions and decreased fractal dimension in the frontal regions in depressed patients with sui-cidality compared to both healthy and patient controls.Additionally,in patients with depression,the sulcal depth of the left caudal anterior cingulate cortex was negatively correlated with Hamilton Depression Rating Scale scores.Conclusions:Depressed patients with suicidality had abnormal cortical morphology in some brain regions within the default mode network,frontolimbic circuitry and temporal regions.These structural deficits may be associated with the dysfunction of emotional processing and impulsivity control.This study provides insights into the underlying neurobiology of the suicidal brain.Huiru Li Huawei Zhang Li Yin Feifei Zhang Ziqi Chen Taolin Chen Zhiyun Jia Qiyong Gong 2021Psychoradiology2021,1,1:0
