1Investigation into co-pyrolysis characteristics of oil shale and coal显示文摘Samples of five types of coal and oil shale from the Daqing region have been subjected to co-pyrolysis in different blending ratios with thermo-gravimetry(TG),given a heating rate of 30 °C/min to a final temperature of 900 °C.Investigations on pyrolysis of mixing coal and oil shale in different proportions were carried out,indicating that the main scope of weight loss corresponding to hydrocarbon oil and gas release was between 350 and 550 °C.At higher temperatures,significant weight loss was attributed to coke decomposition.Characteristic pyrolysis parameters of blends from oil shale and the high ranked XZ coal varied with the blending ratio,but oil shale dominated the process.At the same blending proportions,highly volatile medium and low ranked coal of low moisture and ash content reacted well during pyrolysis and could easily create synergies with oil shale.Medium and high ranked coal with high moisture content played a negative role in co-pyrolysis.Miao Zhenyong Wu Guoguang Li Ping Meng Xianliang Zheng Zhilei 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2:9
2Receptor role of membrane bound macrophage colony-stimulating factor显示文摘According to the definition of cytokine, the direction of signaling should be from cytokine to receptor. The counter receptor was presented. Membrane bound macrophage colony-stimulating factor (m-M-CSF) and its receptor (M-CSF-R) were shown in human leukemic cell line J6-1 as autojuxtacrine mechanism. Soluble M-CSF receptor (sM-CSF-R), which was isolated from J6-1 cells membrane, was added into J6-1 cell culture. It was observed inhibition of J6-1 cell proliferation, decreasing of mitosis index and ratio of multinuclear cells, enlargement of cell diameter and volume, down regulation of numerous surface antigens. Dramatic change of intracellular pH was shown between several min to 20 min after treatment of sM-CSF-R. It suggested that some information was transmitted via m-M-CSF from sM-CSF-R. 3Single-cell transcriptomic landscape of human blood cells显示文摘High throughput single-cell RNA-seq has been successfully implemented to dissect the cellular and molecular features underlying hematopoiesis.However,an elaborate and comprehensive transcriptome reference of the whole blood system is lacking.Here,we profiled the transcriptomes of 7551 human blood cells representing 32 immunophenotypic cell types,including hematopoietic stem cells,progenitors and mature blood cells derived from 21 healthy donors.With high sequencing depth and coverage,we constructed a single-cell transcriptional atlas of blood cells(ABC) on the basis of both protein-coding genes and long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs),and showed a high consistence between them.Notably,putative lncRNAs and transcription factors regulating hematopoietic cell differentiation were identified.While common transcription factor regulatory networks were activated in neutrophils and monocytes,lymphoid cells dramatically changed their regulatory networks during differentiation.Furthermore,we showed a subset of nucleated erythrocytes actively expressing immune signals,suggesting the existence of erythroid precursors with immune functions.Finally,a web portal offering transcriptome browsing and blood cell type prediction has been established.Thus,our work provides a transcriptional map of human blood cells at single-cell resolution,thereby offering a comprehensive reference for the exploration of physiological and pathological hematopoiesis.Xiaowei Xie Mengyao Liu Yawen Zhang Bingrui Wang Caiying Zhu Chenchen Wang Qing Li Yingying Huo Jiaojiao Guo Changlu Xu Linping Hu Aiming Pang Shihui Ma Una Wang Wenbin Cao Shulian Chen Qiuling Li Sudong Zhang Xueying Zhao Wen Zhou Hongbo Luo Guoguang Zheng Erlie Jiang Sizhou Feng Lixiang Chen Lihong Shi Hui Cheng Sha Hao Ping Zhu Tao Cheng 2021National Science Review2021,8,3:3
4High-performance fiber-integrated multifunctional graphene-optoelectronic device with photoelectric detection and optic-phase modulation显示文摘In graphene-based optoelectronic devices,the ultraweak interaction between a light and monolayer graphene leads to low optical absorption and low responsivity for the photodetectors and relative high half-wave voltage for the phase modulator.Here,an integration of the monolayer graphene onto the side-polished optical fiber is demonstrated,which is capable of providing a cost-effective strategy to enhance the light–graphene interaction,allowing us to obtain a highly efficient optical absorption in graphene and achieve multifunctions:photodetection and optical phase modulation.As a photodetector,the device has ultrahigh responsivity(1.5×10^(7) A/W)and high external quantum efficiency(>1.2×10^(9)%).Additionally,the polybutadiene/polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)film on the graphene can render the device an optical phase modulator through the large thermo-optic effect of the PMMA.As a phase modulator,the device has a relatively low half-wave voltage of 3 V with a 16 dB extinction ratio in Mach–Zehnder interferometer configuration.LINQING ZHUO PENGPENG FAN SHUANG ZHANG YUANSONG ZHAN YANMEI LINYU ZHANG DONGQUAN LI ZHEN CHE WENGUO ZHU HUADAN ZHENG JIEYUAN TANG JUN ZHANG YONGCHUN ZHONG WENXIAO FANG GUOGUANG LU JIANHUI YU ZHE CHEN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,12:3
5Macrophages in leukemia microenvironment显示文摘Macrophages,the important component of tissue microenvironment,play important roles in both physiological and pathological processes,including tumor and leukemia.Tumor-associated macrophages are involved in tumor proliferation,angiogenesis,invasion,metastasis,and chemotherapy resistance.In leukemia,macrophages are educated by leukemia microenvironment to obtain specific activated phenotype and participate in leukemia progression.Recent studies have shown that accumulation of macrophages in leukemia patients or mouse model is correlated with poor prognosis.Hence,increasing attentions have been paid to study the characteristics of them and to develop novel therapeutic strategies targeting macrophages against leukemia.In this article,we summarize recent development of macrophages in leukemia microenvironment.Lina Wang Guoguang Zheng 2019Blood Science2019,1,1:2
6DDIT4 mediates the proliferation-promotive effect of IL-34 in human monocytic leukemia cells显示文摘Interleukin 34(IL-34)is a cytokine that shares the receptor with colony-stimulating factor 1(CSF-1).IL-34 is involved in a broad range of pathologic processes including cancer.We previously demonstrated that IL-34 promoted the proliferation and colony formation of human acute monocytic leukemia(AMoL)cells.However,the mechanism has not been elucidated.Here,by analyzing the gene profiles of Molm13 and THP1 cells overexpressing IL-34(Molm13-IL-34 and THP1-IL-34),upregulation of the DNA damageinducible transcript 4(DDIT4)was detected in both series.Knockdown of DDIT4 effectively inhibited the proliferation,promoted apoptosis and colony formation in Molm13-IL-34 and THP1-IL-34 cells.Our results suggest that DDIT4 mediates the proliferationpromotive effect of IL-34 whereas does not mediate the promotive effect of IL-34 on colony formation in AMoL cells.Xiaoqian Lv Yuting Hu Lina Wang Dongyue Zhang Hao Wang Yibo Dai Xiaoxi Cui Guoguang Zheng 2021Blood Science2021,3,2:2
7A modeling study of aerosol effects on cloud radiative property and precipitation显示文摘A two-moment (mass and number) warm cloud scheme together with ground and aircraft measurements over Beijing is used in a regional model to study the effects of aerosols on cloud radiative property and precipitation.Using a prescribed tri-modal lognormal aerosol size distribution,the aerosol numbers are calculated from prognostic aerosol masses,for which advection,diffusion,and cloud drop activation/deactivation are considered.Specifically,the accumulation mode of a tri-lognormal aerosol size distribution is fitted to the aircraft measured values for a cold front case passed through northern China during June 25-26,2005.In the simulations,the warm cloud scheme simulates explicitly the cloud drops and subsequently affects the radiative heating and cooling,and circulations.Simulations with different initial conditions for being fitted with aircraft measurements,continental and maritime aerosol numbers were conducted.It is found that more aerosols result in more but smaller cloud drops and more cloud water,leading to an increase in albedo.The effects on rains are complex:smaller cloud drops have less efficient coagulation for raindrop to form (autoconversion),leading to fewer raindrop numbers and less rainwater;while more cloud water enhances the accretion for raindrop growth.Nevertheless,for the whole cloud system,the impact of increasing aerosols inhibits precipitation.FANG Wen ZHENG GuoGuang WANG Wei-Chyung 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,15:2

13Internalization and half-life of membrane-bound macrophage colony-stimulating factor显示文摘The binding of recombinant human macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) soluble receptor (rh-M-CSF-sR) to membrane-bound macrophage colony stimulating factor (m-M-CSF) and the internalization and recycling of rh-M-CSF-sR/m-M-CSF complexes mediated by m-M-CSF were studied with a model of J6-1 cell line. The results indicated that m-M-CSF bound rh-M-CSF-sR with high affinity (Kd= 1.78×10 12 mol/L) and mediated a temperature- and energy-dependent internalization of rh-M-CSF-sR, and that internalized rh-M-CSF-sR could return to the cell surface in an m-M-CSF-bound state, suggesting that m-M-CSF may have a capability to mediate the internalization and recycling of rh-M-CSF-sR/m-M-CSF complexes. In addition, the half-lives of cell-associated M-CSF and its receptor of stimulated normal human cord blood mononuclear cells (CBMCs) and 4 leukemic cell lines were measured by indirect immunoflu-orescence and flow cytometry. 14The effects of legumain in THP1 leukemia cells显示文摘Legumain is a C13 family cysteine protease.It plays diverse roles under both physiological and pathological conditions.The high-level expression of legumain is detected in solid tumors.Legumain promotes the proliferation and migration of tumor cells.However,the effect of legumain in blood diseases has not been established.In this report,we studied the effect of legumain on leukemia cells by overexpressing it in THP1 cells.The results demonstrated that legumain promoted cell proliferation,whereas it had little effect on cell apoptosis.Furthermore,legumain promoted the migration of THP1 cells.It was worth noting that legumain decreased the stemness of THP1 cells.Further evidence showed that legumain decreased the expression of Oct4,Sox2,Myc in THP1 cells.Our study reveals the multifaced effects of legumain in leukemia cells and broadens the knowledge of legumain in malignancies.DONGYUE ZHANG LINA WANG HAO WANG XIAOQIAN LV QIAN REN GUOGUANG ZHENG 2021BIOCELL2021,45,1:0
15Biosensors for waterborne virus detection: Challenges and strategies显示文摘Waterborne viruses that can be harmful to human health pose significant challenges globally,affecting health care systems and the economy.Identifying these waterborne pathogens is essential for preventing diseases and protecting public health.However,handling complex samples such as human and wastewater can be challenging due to their dynamic and complex composition and the ultralow concentration of target analytes.This review presents a comprehensive overview of the latest breakthroughs in waterborne virus biosensors.It begins by highlighting several promising strategies that enhance the sensing performance of optical and electrochemical biosensors in human samples.These strategies include optimizing bioreceptor selection,transduction elements,signal amplification,and integrated sensing systems.Furthermore,the insights gained from biosensing waterborne viruses in human samples are applied to improve biosensing in wastewater,with a particular focus on sampling and sample pretreatment due to the dispersion characteristics of waterborne viruses in wastewater.This review suggests that implementing a comprehensive system that integrates the entire waterborne virus detection process with high-accuracy analysis could enhance virus monitoring.These findings provide valuable insights for improving the effectiveness of waterborne virus detection,which could have significant implications for public health and environmental management.Xixi Song Zina Fredj Yuqiao Zheng Hongyong Zhang Guoguang Rong Sumin Bian Mohamad Sawan 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,11:0
