1A 3rd Order WENO GLM-MHD Scheme for Magnetic Reconnection显示文摘A new numerical scheme of 3rd order Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory (WENO) type for 2.5D mixed GLM-MHD in Cartesian coordinates is proposed. The MHD equations are modified by combining the arguments as by Dellar and Dedner et al to couple the divergence constraint with the evolution equations using a Generalized Lagrange Multiplier (GLM). Moreover, the magnetohydrodynamic part of the GLM-MHD system is still in conservation form. Meanwhile, this method is very easy to add to an existing code since the underlying MHD solver does not have to be modified. To show the validation and capacity of its application to MHD problem modelling, interaction between a magnetosonic shock and a denser cloud and magnetic reconnection problems are used to verify this new MHD code. The numerical tests for 2D Orszag and Tang's MHD vortex, interaction between a magnetosonic shock and a denser cloud and magnetic reconnection problems show that the third order WENO MHD solvers are robust and yield reliable results by the new mixed GLM or the mixed EGLM correction here even if it can not be shown that how the divergence errors are transported as well as damped as done for one dimensional ideal MHD by Dedner et al.FENG Xueshang ZHOU Yufen HU Yanqi 2006空间科学学报2006,26,1:9
2Improving Tribological Performance of Gray Cast Iron by Laser Peening in Dynamic Strain Aging Temperature Regime显示文摘A high and stable brake disc friction coefficient is needed for automobile safety, while the coefficient degrades due to elevated temperature during the braking process. There is no better solution except changes in material composition and shape design optimization. In the dynamic strain aging(DSA) temperature regime of gray cast iron, micro-dimples with different dimple depth over diameter and surface area density are fabricated on the material surface by laser peening(LP) which is an LST method. Friction behavior and wear mechanism are investigated to evaluate the effects of surface texturing on the tribological performance of specimens under dry conditions. Through LP impacts assisted by DSA, the friction coefficients of the LPed specimens increase noticeably both at room temperature and elevated temperature in comparison to untreated specimens. Moreover, the coefficient of specimen with dimple depth over diameter of 0.03 and surface area density of 30% is up to 0.351 at room temperature, which dramatically rises up to 1.33 times that of untextured specimen and the value is still up to 0.3305 at 400℃ with an increasing ratio of 35% compared to that of untreated specimen. The surface of textured specimen shows better wear resistance compared to untreated specimen. Wear mechanism includes adhesive wear, abrasive wear and oxidation wear. It is demonstrated that LP assisted by DSA can substantially improve wear resistance, raise the friction coefficient as well as its stability of gray cast iron under elevated temperatures. 3Numerical study of successive CMEs during November 4―5, 1998显示文摘We present the solar-terrestrial transit process of three successive coronal mass ejections (CMEs) of November 4―5, 1998 originating from active region 8375 by using a time-dependent three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) simula-tion. These CMEs interacted with each other while they were propagating in inter-planetary space and finally formed a 'complex ejecta'. A newly developed SIP-CESE MHD model was applied to solve MHD equations numerically. The quiet solar wind was started from Parker-like 1D solar wind solution and the magnetic field map was calculated from the solar photospheric magnetic field data. In our simulation, the ejections were initiated using pulse in the real active region 8375. The interplanetary disturbance parameters, such as speed, direction and angular size of the expanding CME, were determined from the SOHO/LASCO data with the cone-model. We discussed the three-dimensional aspects of the propagation, in-teraction and merging of the three ejections. The simulated interplanetary shocks were compared with the nearby-Earth measurement. 5An improved CESE method and its application to steady-state coronal structure simulation显示文摘This paper presents an improved space-time conservation element and solution element(CESE)method by applying a non-staggered space-time mesh system and simply improving the calculation of flow variables and applies it to magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)equations.The improved CESE method can improve the solution quality even with a large disparity in the Courant number(CFL)when using a fixed global marching time.Moreover,for a small CFL(say<0.1),the method can significantly reduce the numerical dissipation and retain the solution quality,which are verified by two benchmark problems.And meanwhile,comparison with the original CESE scheme shows better resolution of the improved scheme results.Finally,we demonstrate its validation through the application of this method in three-dimensional coronal dynamical structure with dipole magnetic fields and measured solar surface magnetic fields as the initial input.ZHOU YuFen FENG XueShang 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1:2

7A Fault Detection Mechanism in Erasure-Code Byzantine Fault-Tolerance Quorum显示文摘Fault-tolerance is increasingly significant for large-scale storage systems in which Byzantine failure of storage nodes may happen. Traditional Byzantine Quorum systems that tolerate Byzantine failures by using replication have two main limitations: low space-efficiency and static quorum variables. We propose an Erasure-code Byzantine Fault-tolerance Quorum that can provide high reliability with far lower storage overhead than replication by adopting erasure code as redundancy scheme. Through read/write operations of clients and diagnose operation of supervisor, our Quorum system can detect Byzantine nodes, and dynamically adjust system size and fault threshold. 16High-performance electronics and optoelectronics of monolayer tungsten diselenide full film from pre-seeding strategy显示文摘Tungsten diselenide (WSe2) possesses extraordinary electronic properties forapplications in electronics, optoelectronics, and emerging exciton physics. Thesynthesis of monolayer WSe2 film is of topmost for device arrays and integratedcircuits. The monolayer WSe2 film has yet been reported by thermal chemicalvapor deposition (CVD) approach, and the nucleation mechanism remainsunclear. Here, we report a pre-seeding strategy for finely regulating the nucleidensity at an early stage and achieving a fully covered film after chemicalvapor deposition growth. The underlying mechanism is heterogeneous nucle-ation from the pre-seeding tungsten oxide nanoparticles. At first, we optimized the precursor concentration for pre-seeding. Besides, we confirmed the superi-ority of the pre-seeding method, compared with three types of substrate pre-treatments, including nontreatment, sonication in an organic solvent, andoxygen plasma. Eventually, the high-quality synthetic WSe2 monolayer filmexhibits excellent device performance in field-effect transistors and photodetec-tors. We extracted thermodynamic activation energy from the nucleation andgrowth data. 19Application of ADER Scheme in MHD Simulation显示文摘The Arbitrary accuracy Derivatives Riemann problem method(ADER) scheme is a new high order numerical scheme based on the concept of finite volume integration,and it is very easy to be extended up to any order of space and time accuracy by using a Taylor time expansion at the cell interface position.So far the approach has been applied successfully to flow mechanics problems.Our objective here is to carry out the extension of multidimensional ADER schemes to multidimensional MHD systems of conservation laws by calculating several MHD problems in one and two dimensions: (ⅰ) Brio-Wu shock tube problem,(ⅱ) Dai-Woodward shock tube problem,(ⅲ) Orszag-Tang MHD vortex problem.The numerical results prove that the ADER scheme possesses the ability to solve MHD problem,remains high order accuracy both in space and time,keeps precise in capturing the shock.Meanwhile,the compared tests show that the ADER scheme can restrain the oscillation and obtain the high order non-oscillatory result.ZHANG Yanyan FENG Xueshang JIANG Chaowei ZHOU Yufen 2012空间科学学报2012,32,2:1
20A Multifunctional Fluorescence Europium-Organic Framework for Turn-On Sensing of pH and Turn-Off Sensing of 2-Thiazolidinethione-4-carboxylic Acid and Aztreonam显示文摘A luminescent lanthanide-organic framework[Eu_(2)(adip)(H_(2)adip)(DMF)_(2)]·CH_(3)OH(1)was synthesized by a solvothermal method using anthracene-based ligand 5,5’-(anthracene-9,10-diyl)diisophthalic acid(H4adip).1 possesses a 3D coordination framework,which could be rationalized as a 4,8-connected 2-nodal(4^(16)6^(12))(4^(4)6^(2))topological network.1 shows an excellent linear increase in fluorescence intensity as the pH value rises from 4.8 to 7.1.Particularly,the fluorescence enhancement percentage reaches 588%for each increase of pH value,which is the highest value recorded for fluorescence pH sensing materials,promoting the sensitivity of pH detection within the physiological pH range.In addition,1 can also specifically recognize carbon disulfide biomarkers 2-thiothiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid(TTCA)and antibiotic aztreonam(ATM)by fluorescence quenching,with the KSV values of 1.02×10^(5)L·mol^(-1)(0-10μmol·L^(-1))and 4.67×10^(5)L·mol^(-1)(0-50μmol·L^(-1)),the limit of detection(LOD)of 86 nmol·L^(-1)and 19 nmol·L^(-1),respectively.Among only a few cases reported,the detection sensitivities of 1 for both TTCA and ATM are the highest.The sensing mechanisms of pH,TTCA,and ATM are also discussed in detail.Zhenqi Tan Yue Quan Yufen Li Tao Yang Xinhui Zhou Yujian You 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,3:0
