| 2 | Failure behavior of a rock-coal-rock combined body with a weak coal interlayer显示文摘Using an MTS 815 testing machine,the deformation and failure behavior of a rock-coal-rock combined body containing a weak coal interlayer has been investigated and described in this paper.Uniaxial loading leads to the appearance of mixed cracks in the coal body which induce instability and lead to bursts in coal.If the mixed crack propagates at a sufficiently high speed to carry enough energy to damage the roof rock,then coal and rock bursts may occur-this is the main mechanism whereby coal bumps or coal and rock bursts occur after excavation unloading.With increasing confining pressure,the failure strength of a rock-coal-rock combined body gradually increases,and the failure mechanism of the coal interlayer also changes,from mixed crack damage under low confining pressures,to parallel crack damage under medium confining pressures,and finally to single shear crack damage or integral mixed section damage under high confining pressures.In general,it is shown that a weak coal interlayer changes the form of overall coal damage in a rock-coal-rock combined body and reduces the overall stability of a coal body.Therefore,the whole failure behavior of a rock-coal-rock combined body in large cutting height working faces is controlled by these mechanisms. | Zuo Jianping Wang Zhaofeng Zhou Hongwei Pei Jianliang Liu Jianfeng | 2013 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,6: | 32 |
| 3 | Precise timing of lacustrine gypsum in Luobubo,Xinjiang using the thermal ionization mass spectrometry U-series method显示文摘Dating techniques including gypsum dissolution in water, iron hydroxide co-precipitation with uranium and thorium and mass spectrometric determination have been investigated in this note. The ages of the gypsum samples in a CK core from Luobubo lacustrine sediments are in the range of (12.85±0.21) kaBP (4 m distance from the top core) to (153.2 ± 7.2) kaBP (49 m distance from the top core) with the relative errors of ( 1.6%-±4.7%. | 5 | A tubular focused sonochemistry reactor显示文摘This paper presents a new sonochemistry reactor, which consists of a cylindrical tube with a certain length and piezoelectric transducers at tube’s end with the longitudinal vibration. The tube can effectively transform the longitudinal vibration into the radial vibration and thereby generates ultrasound. Furthermore, ultrasound can be focused to form high-intensity ultrasonic field inside tube. The reactor boasts of simple structure and its whole vessel wall can radiate ultrasound so that the electroacoustic transfer efficiency is high. The focused ultrasonic field provides good condition for sonochemical reaction. | 6 | Multi-proxy evidence for Late Pleistocene-Holocene climatic and environmental changes in Lop-Nur,Xinjiang,Northwest China显示文摘A 10.35-m-long sediment core from the Luobei depression in Lop-Nur,Xinjiang,Northwest China,provides detailed information about environmental changes during the Late Pleistocene.The samples taken every 5 cm of the core were analyzed for 10 environmental proxies,including magnetic susceptibility,granularity,chroma,carbonate and loss on ignition(LOI),and pH value.The chronology data are provided by the uranium/thorium disequi-librium dates.The sediments of the section were deposited during the last 32000 years.The results of analysis of 10 proxies were examined using multivariate statistical analysis,and the principal components were calculated.According to the results,the Late Pleistocene sequence contains four climatic and environmental stages appearing in the cycles of cold-wet and warm-dry changes.During 10-9 ka BP,it was the earliest warm episode in the Holocene.Environmental changes in this district were restricted by global change,as suggested by the analysis of glacial-interglacial cycles.But it was different from the mutative trend of a monsoon region in East China because of its own characteristics,which was the situation of cold-wet and warm-dry climate-environment change.The candidate reason may be the uplift of the Tibet Plateau and the westerly wind circulation. | LUO Chao YANG Dong PENG Zicheng ZHANG Zhaofeng LIU Weiguo HE Jianfeng ZHOU Chenlin | 2008 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2008,27,3: | 3 |

| 8 | Experimental investigation on fracturing process of marble under biaxial compression显示文摘In this study,servo-controlled biaxial compression tests were conducted on marble specimens to investigate their failure characteristics and fracturing process.The complete stressestrain curves were obtained,and the three-dimensional(3D)features of the failure surfaces were acquired by 3D laser scanning.Acoustic emission(AE)monitoring and moment tensor(MT)analysis were used in combination to better understand the fracturing mechanism of marble under biaxial compression.It was noted that a type of 3D stepwise cracking behaviour occurred on the fracturing surfaces of the examined specimens.The stress dropped multiple times,and a repeated fracturing mode corresponding to the repeated stress drops in the post-peak regime was observed.Three substages,i.e.stress stabilisation,stress decrease and stress increase,were identified for a single fracturing mode.Then quantitative and statistical analyses of the fracturing process at each substage were discussed.Based on the testing results,it was found that at the stress stabilisation substage,the proportion of mixed-mode fractures increased.At the stress decrease substage,the proportion of mixed-mode fractures decreased,and the tensile or shear fractures increased.At the stress increase substage,the proportion of mixed-mode or tensile fractures decreased,and the shear fractures increased.Finally,a conceptual model for the stepwise crack formation was proposed. | Zhaofeng Wang Xia-Ting Feng Chengxiang Yang Yangyi Zhou Hong Xu Qiang Han Yaohui Gao | 2020 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,5: | 3 |

| 12 | Platinum and Iridium Coatings Obtained by Double Glow Plasma Technology显示文摘Pt and Ir coatings were produced by double glow plasma technology on the surface of Ti alloy substrates. The chemical compositions of the coatings were determined by X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The microstructure and morphology of the coatings were observed by scanning electron microscopy. The hardness and elastic modulus of the coatings were estimated by nanoindentation. The measurements of adhesive forces of the coatings were performed with scratch tester. The results indicated that the Pt and Ir coatings displayed the preferred (220) orientation due to the initial nuclei with preferred growth on the surface of the substrates. The interface between the Pt coating and substrate exhibited no evidence of delamination. The Ir coating was composed of irregular columnar grains with many nanovoids at the interface between the coating and substrate. The mean values of hardness for Pt and Ir coatings were 0.9 GPa and 9 GPa, respectively. The elastic modulus of Pt and Ir coatings were 178 GPa and 339 GPa, respectively. The adhesive forces of the Pt and Ir coatings were about 66.4 N and 55 N, respectively. | 19 | Proximal and remote sensing in plant phenomics: 20 years of progress, challenges, and perspectives显示文摘Plant phenomics(PP)has been recognized as a bottleneck in studying the interactions of genomics and environment on plants,limiting the progress of smart breeding and precise cultivation.High-throughput plant phenotyping is challenging owing to the spatio-temporal dynamics of traits.Proximal and remote sensing(PRS)techniques are increasingly used for plant phenotyping because of their advantages in multi-dimensional data acquisition and analysis.Substantial progress of PRS applications in PP has been observed over the last two decades and is analyzed here from an interdisciplinary perspective based on 2972 publications.This progress covers most aspects of PRS application in PP,including patterns of global spatial distribution and temporal dynamics,specific PRS technologies,phenotypic research fields,working environments,species,and traits.Subsequently,we demonstrate how to link PRS to multi-omics studies,including how to achieve multi-dimensional PRS data acquisition and processing,how to systematically integrate all kinds of phenotypic information and derive phenotypic knowledge with biological significance,and how to link PP to multi-omics association analysis.Finally,we identify three future perspectives for PRS-based PP:(1)strengthening the spatial and temporal consistency of PRS data,(2)exploring novel phenotypic traits,and(3)facilitating multi-omics communication. | Haiyu Tao Shan Xu Yongchao Tian Zhaofeng Li Yan Ge Jiaoping Zhang Yu Wang Guodong Zhou Xiong Deng Ze Zhang Yanfeng Ding Dong Jiang Qinghua Guo Shichao Jin | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,6: | 1 |
