| 1 | Synthesis and properties of p(NIPA-co-NVP)/clay hydrogels by radiation polymerization显示文摘In this study,hydrogels of P(NIPA-co-NVP)/clay were synthesized byγ-ray radiation.Different thermo-sensitive hydrogels were made under different experimental conditions such as dose,monomer ratio,and con- tent of clay.X-ray diffraction shows that the layer distance between Na-clays is changed from 1.6 to 2.7 nm because Na-clay pieces can be intercalated or exfoliated by HTMAB,and that between P(NIPA-co-NVP)/clay pieces is 3.4 nm. The swelling property tests show that the LCST of P(NIPA-co-NVP) is higher than PNIPA.With the increase of NVP content,LCST is higher.As the ratio of NIPA/NVP is 95/5,hydrogel shows the best swelling property and LCST is 37℃.LCST of P(NIPA-co-NVP)/clay hydrogel is not changed,but the strength and swelling properties are better. | SONG Hongyan YANG Mingcheng ZHU Chengshen HE Suqin GAO Ya | 2007 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2007,18,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Swelling and thermal properties of porous PNIPAM/PEG hydrogels prepared by radiation polymerization显示文摘In this study,a series of porous intelligent hydrogels were synthesized by radiation exhibiting the lower critical solution temperature(LCST) and fast response involving a combination of A’-isopropyl acrylamideas monomer, polyethylene glycol(PEG) as pore-forming agent and N,N-methylene-bis-acrylamide as crosslinking agent.The hydrogels were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and the influence of radiation doses on their swelling and thermal behaviors were studied.Their surface morphologies were examined by scanning electron microscopy.The results showed that PEG molecules only acted as pore-forming agent in the cross-linked polymerization.Their swelling ratios reduced with increasing radiation doses.The LCST was around 37℃,and varied little with the radiation doses.The frozen water content of PNIPAM/PEG6000 hydrogel reduced with increasing the radiation dose,and was greater than that of PN1PAM hydrogel at 15 kGy.Hydrogel macropores were prepared by PEG agent,and the hydrogels without PEG had a dense surface.The porous hydrogels are expected to be applied in the field of artificial intelligence material. | LI Zhihui LIU Wentao LI Zhongyuan YANG Mingcheng GAO Xujing CUI Haitao HE Suqin ZHU Chengshen | 2013 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2: | 3 |

| 7 | Radiation synthesis and characterization of polyacrylic acid hydrogels显示文摘The pH-sensitive polyacrylic acid (PAA) hydrogels were synthesized by gamma-ray irradiation at an am- bient temperature. The influences of dose, monomer concentration, cross-linking agent content, pH, and ionic strength on the swelling ratio (SR) of the PAA hydrogels were investigated in detail. The results show that the SR of the hy- drogel decreases with an increase in the dose, monomer concentration, and cross-linking agent content. In alkaline so- lution, the SR of the hydrogels is much higher than that in acid solution. Also, the ionic strength can influence the SR of the hydrogels.
