1SHRIMP U-Pb zircon age of the Jinbaoshan ultramafic intrusion,Yunnan Province,SW China显示文摘SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating gives ages of 260.6 ± 3.5 Ma and 260.7 ± 5.6 Ma for serpentinised wehrlite and plag-hornblendite in the Jinbaoshan ultramafic intrusion,respectively. The results indicate that the Jinbaoshan intrusion was emplaced at ca.260 Ma and contemporaneous with the Emeishan continental flood basalts (ECFB),similar to other mafic-ultramafic intrusions of the Emeishan large igneous prov-ince (LIP). The new ages provide a geochronological constraint on the origin of the Jinbaoshan ul-tramafic intrusion. 2Distribution and existing state of indium in the Gejiu Tin polymetallic deposit, Yunnan Province, SW China显示文摘The Gejiu tin polymetallic deposit, located in the southwest margin of the South China Belt bordering on the Yangtze Block, is hosted in Triassic carbonates. This study shows that there is an indium enrichment in the ores.Indium mainly exists in sphalerite-rich massive sulfide ores with a concentration of 198.3–1570 ppm; the indium concentration in sphalerite ranges from 493.3 up to4781 ppm. The inferred indium reserve in the Gejiu Sn deposit is over 4000 t, indicating that the Gejiu tin deposit is a giant In-bearing Sn-polymetallic deposit, similar to the Dachang and Dulong in southwest China. Sphalerite with a high Fe value(8.05–13.27 wt%) is the predominant indium carrier mineral; meanwhile chalcopyrite plays the secondary indium carrier role. 3Geochemical Characteristics and Metallogenesis of the Qingkuangshan Ni-Cu-PGE Mineralized Mafic-Ultramafic Intrusion in Huili County, Sichuan Province, SW China显示文摘The Qingkuangshan Ni-Cu-PGE deposit, located in the Xiaoguanhe region of Huili County, Sichuan Province, is one of several Ni-Cu-PGE deposits in the Emeishan Large Igneous Province (ELIP). The ore-bearing intrusion is a mafic-ultramafic body. This paper reports major elements, trace elements and platinum-group elements in different types of rocks and sulfide-mineralized samples in the intrusion. These data are used to evaluate the source mantle characteristics, the degree of mantle partial melting, the composition of parental magma and the ore-forming processes. The results show that Qingkuangshan intrusion is part of the ELIP. The rocks have trace element ratios similar to the coeval Emeishan basalts. The primitive mantle-normalized patterns of Ni-Cu-PGE have positive slopes, and the ratios of Pd/Ir are lower than 22. The PGE compositions of sulfide ores and associated rocks are characterized by Ru depletion. The PGE contents in bulk sulfides are slightly depleted relative to Ni and Cu, which is similar to the Yangliuping Ni-Cu-PGE deposit. The composition of the parental magma for the intrusion is estimated to contain about 14.65 wt% MgO, 48.66 wt% SiO2 and 15.48 wt% FeOt, and the degree of mantle partial melting is estimated to be about 20%. In comparison with other typical Ni-Cu-PGE deposits in the ELIP, the Qingkuangshan Ni-Cu-PGE deposit has lower PGE contents than the Jinbaoshan PGE deposit, but has higher PGE contents than the Limahe and Baimazhai Ni-Cu deposit, and has similar PGE contents to the Yangliuping Ni-Cu-PGE deposit. The moderate PGE depletions in the bulk sulfide of the Qingkuanghan deposit suggest that the parental magma of the host intrusion may have undergone minor sulfide segregation at depth. The mixing calculations suggests that an average of 10% crustal contamination in the magma, which may have been the main cause of sulfide saturation in the magma. We propose that sulfide segregation from a moderately PGE depleted magma took place prior to magma emplacement at Qingkuangshan, that small amounts of immiscible sulfide droplets and olivine and chromite crystals were suspended in the ascending magma, and that the suspended materials settled down when the magma passed trough the Qingkuangshan conduit. 5Syn-collision Biotite Hornblende Granodiorite from the Zedong Area,Tibet:Zircon U–Pb Isotope Chronology,Petro-geochemistry,and Geodynamic Significance显示文摘Cu–Au mineralization is rare in the Jurassic–Early Tertiary batholiths related to the India–Asia collision. Geochemical analysis and U–Pb isotope chronology was carried out on Shuangbujiere biotite hornblende granodiorite from the Zedong area. Zircon grains of the biotite hornblende granodiorite show oscillatory growth zonation and have high Th/U ratios of 1.08–2.39, indicating a magmatic origin for the zircons. Geochrological test yielded a LA-ICP-MS U-Pb age of 51.5±1.0 Ma, suggesting that the emplacement age of the biotite hornblende granodiorite is Early Eocene. The Shuangbujiere biotite hornblende granodiorites have geochemical features characteristic of adakite and are associated with a calc–alkaline metaluminous I-type granite enriched in Sr, high in Mg~#(49.6–54.9) and Sr/Y, and depleted in Y and Yb. These results indicate that this intrusion formation may have been associated with crustal thickening caused by the early collision of the Indian and Eurasian Plates. As the process of crustal thickening continued, the heating of the underplated basaltic magma caused the thickened lower crust amphibolite to dehydrate the melt and form a high-K calc–alkaline adakitic melt at about 848°C. 6Geochemical characteristics of the platinum-group elements in the Abulangdang ultramafic intrusion,Sichuan Province,China显示文摘The contents of the platinum-group elements (PGEs: Os, Ir, Ru, Rh, Pt, Pd) in the Abulangdang ultramafic intrusion have been determined using ICP-MS after nickel sulfide fire assay preconcentration. Different samples show significant differences in absolute PGE abundance. They display a pronounced negative incline in mantle-normalized patterns which are characterized by strong enrichment in IPGEs (Os, Ir, Ru) and depleting to slight enrichment in PPGEs (Rh, Pt, Pd). The characteristics of PGE distribution in the Abulangdang rocks are due to the combined action of sulfide and non-sulfide (spinel/chromite or alloy or micro-granular aggregation of metals). 7A nomogram to predict adjuvant chemotherapy recommendation in breast cancer patients with intermediate recurrence score显示文摘Objective: The indication of adjuvant chemotherapy recommendation(ACR) in breast cancer patients with intermediate recurrence score(RS) is controversial. This study investigated the relationship between routine clinicopathological indicators and ACR, and established a nomogram for predicting the probability of ACR in this subset of patients.Methods: Data for a total of 504 consecutive patients with intermediate RS from January 2014 to December2016 were retrospectively reviewed. A nomogram was constructed using a multivariate logistic regression model based on data from a training set(378 cases) and validated in an independent validation set(126 cases). A Youdenderived cut-off value was assigned to the nomogram for accuracy evaluation.Results: The multivariate logistic regression analysis identified that age, histological grade, tumor size, lymph node(LN) status, molecular subtype, and RS were independent predictors of ACR. A nomogram based on these predictors performed well. The P value of the Hosmer-Lemeshow test for the prediction model was 0.286. The area under the curve(AUC) values were 0.905 [95% confidence interval(95% CI): 0.876–0.934] and 0.883(95%CI: 0.824–0.942) in the training and validation sets, respectively. The accuracies of the nomogram for ACR were84.4% in the training set and 82.1% in the validation set.Conclusions: We developed a nomogram to predict the probability of ACR in breast cancer patients with intermediate RS.
