1Genetic analysis of 'all-fish' growth hormone gene transferred carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) and its F_1 generation显示文摘Recornbinant 'all-fish' growth hormone gene (GH) was microinjected into the fertilized eggs of carp. A comparison between the growth traits of transgenics and non-transgenics was carried out, and the transgenic individuals with significant 'fast-growing' effect were successfully gained. A comparison on the reproductivities was also given out between the transgenics and their non-transgenic siblings, and showed that the reproductive capacity of transgenics was substantially equivalent to those of the non-transgenics. On the other hand, the genetic separation and the characteristic distribution of the FI generation were genetically analyzed, which gave solid evidence for the hypothesis that 2-3 chromosomes are integrated with trans-gene. In addition, the distinct biological effects for multi-site-integrated transgenes were further discussed. 2Anomalous variations in ionospheric TEC prior to the 2011 Japan Ms9.0 earthquake显示文摘The ionospheric total-electron-content (TEC) data provided by the International GNSS Service (IGS) network and the VTEC data from the GPS reference stations of Crustal Movement Observational Network of China(CMONC) were processed and statistically analyzed to search for earthquake-related TEC anomalies prior to the 2011 magnitude 9.0 earthquake in Japan. Preliminary results showed that anomalous variations occurred 6-11 days and 0-4 days prior to the earthquake. After considering solar activity, geomagnetic conditions, and proximity in space and time to the earthquake, we tentatively concluded that the anomalous increase on March 5 may be related to the earthquake.Zhu Fuying Wu Yun 2011Geodesy and Geodynamics2011,2,3:8
3A statistical investigation of pre-earthquake ionospheric TEC anomalies显示文摘Previous researches show that the total electron content (TEC) in the ionospheric exhibits anomalous disturbances a few days or hours prior to earthquakes. The paper used TEC data from Internet GPS Service (IGS), and examined 50 earthquakes of magnitude Ms≥7.0 during 2007-2009 worldwide. 4CSES GNSS ionospheric inversion technique, validation and error analysis显示文摘With the increased number of low Earth orbit(LEO) satellites equipped with global navigation satellite system(GNSS) receiver,the LEO based GNSS slant total electron content(TEC) and electron density profile(EDP) data play an increasingly important role in space weather and ionospheric research due to improved global coverage. China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES), which was launched in February 2018, is equipped with GNSS receiver for either precise orbit determination(POD) and ionospheric inversion. The purpose of the present paper is to validate CSES GNSS ionospheric inversion technique based on the real observations and verify the accuracy of TEC and EDP retrieval based on the simulated data. The following conclusions can be drawn: the epoch difference inversion(EDI) derived from CSES can successfully retrieve the EDPs without non-occultation side measurements; the technique of EDI and the calibrated TEC inversion(CTI) have similar behaviors in inversion errors,however, the retrieved Nm F2 and hm F2 have a larger systematic error surrounding the equatorial ionization anomaly(EIA)where the assumption of spherical symmetry is often invalid; the precision and accuracy of retrieved TEC have been investigated in the paper based on the simulated data, and it is found that the accuracy of the retrieved TEC is relative to solar activity: the lower the F10.7 index, the higher the accuracy of retrieved TEC.LIN Jian SHEN XuHui HU LiangChen WANG LanWei ZHU FuYing 2018Science China(Technological Sciences)2018,61,5:5
5Identification of the starting reaction position in the hydrogenation of (N-ethyl)carbazole over Raney-Ni显示文摘Hydrogenation of carbazole and N-ethylcarbazole over Raney-Ni catalyst were realized in the temperature range of 393-503 K. 4[H] adduct dominated the hydrogenation products and the formation of 2[H] adduct was the rate-limiting step during the period, in which the conversion of carbazole was less than 40%. The hydrogenation process followed pseudo-first-order kinetics and the hydrogenation activation energies of carbazole and N-ethylcarbazole were 90 k J/mol and 115 k J/mol, respectively. The reaction starting position as well as the pathway of the hydrogenation of(N-ethyl)carbazole were investigated by comparing the kinetic characteristics of hydrogen uptake of carbazole and Nethylcarbazole. 6Ionospheric disturbances associated with the 2015 M7.8 Nepal earthquake显示文摘Based on the total electron content(TEC) derived from Global Positioning System(GPS) observations of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC) and the Global Ionosphere Map(GIM)from the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe(CODE),we detected and analyzed the ionospheric variations during the 2015 M7.8 Nepal earthquake(including the pre-earthquake ionospheric anomalies and coseismic ionospheric disturbances(CIDs) following the main shock).The analysis of vertical total electron content(VTEC) time series shows that the large-scale ionospheric anomalies appeared near the epicenter two days prior to the earthquake.Moreover,the pre-earthquake ionospheric anomalies were also observed in the geomagnetically conjugated region.In view of solar-terrestrial environment,the pre-earthquake ionospheric anomalies could be associated with the Nepal earthquake.In addition,we also detected the CIDs through the high-frequency GPS observation stations.The CIDs had obvious oscillated waveforms with the peak-to-peak disturbance amplitudes of about 1 TECu and 0.4 TECu,which propagated approximately with the horizontal velocities of 877 ± 75 m/s and 319 ± 30 m/s,respectively.The former is triggered directly by the acoustic waves which originated from the energy release of the earthquake near the epicenter,while the latter could be stimulated by the acoustic-gravity waves from the partial transformation of the acoustic waves.Yiyan Zhou Jian Yang Fuying Zhu Fanfan Su Liangchen Hu Wenbo Zhai 2017Geodesy and Geodynamics2017,8,4:4
7Identification of QTL for kernel number-related traits in a rice chromosome segment substitution line and fine mapping of qSP1显示文摘A chromosome segment substitution line (CSSL) is a powerful tool for combining quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping with the pyramiding of desirable alleles. The rice CSSL Z1364 with increased kernel number was identified in a BC3F8 population derived from a cross of Nipponbare as the recipient with Xihui 18 as the donor parent. Z1364 carried three substitution segments distributed on chromosomes 1, 6, and 8. The mean substitution length was 1.19 Mb. Of 17 QTL identified on the substitution segments, qSP1 for spikelets per panicle, qSSD1 for seed-set density, and qNSB1 for number of secondary branches explained respectively 57.34%, 87.7%, and 49.44% of the corresponding phenotypic variance and were all linked to RM6777. Chi-square analysis showed that the increased kernel number in Z1364 was inherited recessively by a single gene. By fine mapping, qSP1 was delimited to a 50-kb region on the short arm of chromosome 1. Based on DNA sequence, a previously uncharacterized rice homolog of Arabidopsis thaliana AT4G32551 was identified as a candidate gene for qSP1 in which mutation increases the number of spikelets and kernels in Z1364. qSP1 was expressed in all tissues, but particularly in 1-cm panicles. The expression levels of OsMADS22, GN1A, and DST were upregulated and those of LAX2, GNP1, and GHD7 were downregulated in Nipponbare. 8InGaP/InGaAs/GaAs DHBT structural materials grown by GSMBE显示文摘Heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) is of great interest for the application to microwave power and analog circuits. As known, decreasing bandgap energy of the base layer in HBT can result in a smaller turn-on voltage. Using InGaAs as a base material in GaAs HBT is a possible approach to achieve the aim. In this work, a novel InGaP/InGaAs/GaAs double heterojunction bipolar transistor (DHBT) structure with an InGaAs base was designed and grown by gas source molecular beam epitaxy (GSMBE). High-quality InGaAs/GaAs hetero epi-layers and a good doping figure were obtained through optimizing the layer structure and the growth condition. The DHBT devices of a 120 μm×120 μm emitter area were fabricated by normal process and the good DC performance was obtained. A breakdown voltage of 10 V and an offset voltage of just 0.4 V were achieved. 9Up-regulation of Let-7a Expression Induces Gastric Carcinoma Cell Apoptosis In Vitro显示文摘Objective To investigate effect of let-7a gene over-expression on apoptosis of gastric cancer cell lines SGC-7901. Methods The stable let-7a gene over-expressing SGC-7901 cells,SGC-7901/let-7a cells,were established using shRNA lentiviral vector methods. Real-time RT-PCR analysis was used to evaluate the expression level of let-7a mRNA. Cells apoptosis was assessed by flow cytometry. Results RT-PCR analysis revealed let-7a expression in SGC-7901/let-7a cells was significantly increased. Cellular apoptosis assay showed that over-expression of let-7a could increase apoptosis of SGC-7901 cells(P=0.002). 10Formation mechanisms,potentials and exploration practices of large lithologic gas reservoirs in and around an intracratonic rift:Taking the Sinian-Cambrian of Sichuan Basin as an example显示文摘By examining structures,sediments,reservoirs and accumulation assemblages in the Deyang-Anyue rift and its surrounding area,four new understandings are obtained.First,during the initiation period of Deyang-Anyue rift,multiple groups of faults developed in the rift due to the effect of tensile force,bringing about multiple mound and shoal belts controlled by horsts in the second member of the Sinian Dengying Formation;in the development stage of the rift,the boundary faults of the rift controlled the development of mound and shoal belts at the platform margin in the fourth member of Dengying Formation;during the shrinkage period of the rift,platform margin grain shoals of the Cambrian Canglangpu Formation developed in the rift margin.Second,four sets of large-scale mound and shoal reservoirs in the second member of Dengying Formation,the fourth member of Dengying Formation,Canglangpu Formation and Longwangmiao Formation overlap with several sets of source rocks such as Qiongzhusi Formation source rocks and Dengying Formation argillaceous limestone or dolomite developed inside and outside the rift,forming good source-reservoir-cap rock combinations;the sealing of tight rock layers in the lateral and updip direction results in the formation model of large lithologic gas reservoirs of oil pool before gas,continuous charging and independent preservation of each gas reservoir.Third,six favorable exploration zones of large-scale lithologic gas reservoirs have been sorted out through comprehensive evaluation,namely,mound and shoal complex controlled by horsts in the northern part of the rift in the second member of Dengying Formation,isolated karst mound and shoal complex of the fourth member of Dengying Formation in the south of the rift,the superimposed area of multi-stage platform margin mounds and shoals of the second and fourth members of Dengying Formation and Canglangpu Formation in the north slope area,the platform margin mounds and shoals of the second and fourth members of Dengying Formation in the west side of the rift,the platform margin mound and shoal bodies of the fourth member of Dengying Formation in the south slope area,etc.Fourth,Well Pengtan-1 drilled on the mound and shoal complex controlled by horsts of the second member of Dengying Formation in the rift and Well Jiaotan-1 drilled on the platform margin mound and shoal complex of the North Slope have obtained high-yield gas flows in multiple target layers,marking the discovery of a new gas province with reserves of(2-3)×10^(12) m^(3).This has proved the huge exploration potential of large lithologic gas reservoir group related to intracratonic rift.WEI Guoqi YANG Wei XIE Wuren SU NanX IE Zengye ZENG Fuying MA Shiyu JIN Hui WANG Zhihong ZHU Qiuying HAO Cuiguo WANG Xiaodan 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,3:2
11Temporal and spatial characteristics of VTEC anomalies before Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake显示文摘GPS and the COD VTEC data were studied in search of ionospheric VTEC changes in space and time that might be associated with the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake on 12 May,2008.The result shows several significant anomalous decreases at 12:00 UT-16:00 UT on April 29 and an anomalously increase at 14:00 UT-18:00 UT on May 9.The anomalies had two humps,that were located on both sides of the geomagnetic equator and had a tendency of drifting towards the equator.Since the observed anomalies cannot be attributed to any other causes and since they occurred close to the time of the earthquake,we consider them to be possibly premonitory to the earthquake.Fuying Zhu Yun Wu Jian Lin Yiyan Zhou 2010Geodesy and Geodynamics2010,1,1:2

13Auxin signaling module OsSK41-OsIAA10-OsARF regulates grain yield traits in rice显示文摘Auxin is an important phytohormone in plants, and auxin signaling pathways in rice play key roles in regulating its growth, development, and productivity. To investigate how rice grain yield traits are regulated by auxin signaling pathways and to facilitate their application in rice improvement, we validated the functional relationships among regulatory genes such as OsIAA10, OsSK41, and OsARF21 that are involved in one of the auxin(OsIAA10) signaling pathways. We assessed the phenotypic effects of these genes on several grain yield traits across two environments using knockout and/or overexpression transgenic lines.Based on the results, we constructed a model that showed how grain yield traits were regulated by OsIAA10 and OsTIR1, OsAFB2, and OsSK41 and OsmiR393 in the OsSK41-OsIAA10-OsARF module and by OsARF21 in the transcriptional regulation of downstream auxin response genes in the OsSK41-OsIAA10-OsARF module. The population genomic analyses revealed rich genetic diversity and the presence of major functional alleles at most of these loci in rice populations. The strong differentiation of many major alleles between Xian/indica and Geng/japonica subspecies and/or among modern varieties and landraces suggested that they contributed to improved productivity during evolution and breeding. 15Seasonal features of topside scale height based on COSMIC measurements显示文摘Plasma scale height is an important parameter of topside ionosphere and contains information about ionospheric physics and dynamic. We investigated the seasonal features of vertical scale height with the electron density profiles from COSMIC. We found that vertical scale height around 660 km at middle latitudes generally has larger values in winter than in summer and had similar structures at March Equinox and September Equinox no matter daytime or nighttime. Bands of large vertical scale height appear at night around ±36° magnetic latitude in all seasons except summer for low solar activity, and mostly appear in winter for moderate solar activity. 16Ionospheric disturbances around the time of the Ms7.0 Lushan earthquake显示文摘Variations of Vertical Total Electron Content(VTEC)in the ionosphere are investigated around the time of the Ms7.0 Lushan earthquake.A time-series analysis shows an anomalous VTEC increase 15 days before,as well as some anomalous VTEC decreases 5 days before and 8 hours after the earthquake.Each of these anomalies lasted more than 4 hours and drifted from east to west.The anomalous increase 15 days before the earthquake is significantly larger than the solar-terrestrial background noise,and is thus considered to be probably related to the earthquake.Zhou Yiyan Wu Yun Yang Jian Zhu Fuying Zhao Bin 2013Geodesy and Geodynamics2013,4,4:0
17The kinase OsSK41/OsGSK5 negatively regulates amylose content in rice endosperm by affecting the interaction between OsEBP89 and OsBP5显示文摘Amylose content(AC) is the main factor determining the palatability, viscosity, transparency, and digestibility of rice(Oryza sativa)grains. AC in rice grains is mainly controlled by different alleles of the Waxy(Wx) gene. The AP2/EREBP transcription factor OsEBP89 interacts with the MYC-like protein OsBP5 to synergistically regulate the expression of Wx.Here, we determined that the GLYCOGEN SYNTHASE KINASE 5(OsGSK5, also named SHAGGY-like kinase 41 [OsSK41]) inhibits the transcriptional activation activity of OsEBP89 in rice grains during amylose biosynthesis. The loss of OsSK41 function enhanced Wx expression and increased AC in rice grains. By contrast, the loss of function of OsEBP89 reduced Wx expression and decreased AC in rice grains. OsSK41 interacts with OsEBP89 and phosphorylates four of its sites(Thr-28,Thr-30, Ser-238, and Thr-257), which makes OsEBP89 unstable and attenuates its interaction with OsBP5. Wx promoter activity was relatively weak when regulated by the phosphomimicvariantOsEBP89E–OsBP5but relatively strong when regulated by the nonphosphorylatable variant OsEBP89A–OsBP5.Therefore, OsSK41-mediated phosphorylation of OsEBP89 represents an additional layer of complexity in the regulation of amylose biosynthesis during rice grain development.
