1Seismic Facies in a Deepwater Area of a Marine Faulted Basin:Deepwater Area of the Paleogene Lingshui Formation in the Qiongdongnan Basin显示文摘In recent years,deep water areas have become popular exploration fields because of their abundant hydrocarbon resource potential.There are only relatively poor planar seismic profiles and no wells for deepwater areas of the Lingshui Formation in the Qiongdongnan Basin.A lot of faults developed and strata are fragmented due to high temperatures and high pressure,and this has resulted in dim sequence boundaries.Based on seismic data of the deepwater area and well data of bordering shallow water areas,Lingshui Formation was divided into four third class sequences;namely SI,SII,SIII and SIV,and the three-dimensional isochronous stratigraphic framework of the Lingshui Formation in the studied area was shaped.Based mainly on seismic attributes such as amplitude,continuity,internal structure and external shape,six typical seismic facies were identified,including mat-shaped,filling,wedge-shaped,foreset,moundy-shaped and lenticular-shaped,and a seismic facies distribution map was subsequently drawn.With studies on wells of bordering shallow water areas,regional sedimentary characteristics,and isopach map as references,sedimentary planar distribution features were analyzed.The deepwater area of the Lingshui Formation has mainly developed littoral and shallow sea.Sandstone bodies of fan delta,braided river delta,slope fan,basin floor fan,and turbidite fan are at an interdigitate junction to marine hydrocarbon source rocks and thus are favorable prospecting targets.CHEN Huanqning ZHU Xiaomin ZHANG Gongcheng ZHANG Xilin ZHANG Qin 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,2:10

3Review of flash sintering with strong electric field显示文摘Flash sintering is a novel field‐assisted sintering technology for ceramics that allows a dramatic reduction in processing time and temperature.Since 2010,when flash sintering was first reported,it has been a focus of research interest in the field of materials science.Recent study results have confirmed that the sintering temperature decreases with the strength of the applied electric field;for some ceramics,the sintering temperature can be lowered even to room temperature.This represents an innovative breakthrough for ceramic sintering at ultra‐low temperatures.However,once the electric field strength in flash sintering is increased,new questions and challenges arise,such as whether or not partial discharge occurs in the green body if under electro‐thermal coupling stress,how to quantitatively analyse the impact of discharge on sintering,and,moreover,whether the sintering mechanism under a strong electric field is consistent with that under a weak electric field.These research questions require knowledge of partial discharge detection,dielectric theory,and other topics that are beyond the scope of materials science.To address this need,this review summarises the work carried out in flash sintering with a strong electric field from the perspective of high voltage and insulation technology.First,the flash sintering process and mechanism are briefly introduced.Then,the published literature on flash sintering with a strong electric field for various ceramic materials is summarised in depth.In addition,experimental phenomena that are observed in flash sintering with a strong electric field,such as flash and blackening,are discussed.Finally,some suggestions for future work are presented.It is anticipated that the knowledge gap between different areas of study can be filled by this review.Hongyang Zhou Xiang Li Yuchen Zhu Jieming Liu Angxuan Wu Guoming Ma Xilin Wang Zhidong Jia Liming Wang 2022High Voltage2022,7,1:2
4High‐performance ZnO varistor ceramics prepared by arc‐induced flash sintering with low energy consumption at room temperature显示文摘The development of ultra‐high voltage transmission lines requires a ZnO arrester with excellent electrical response and high voltage gradient.Compared with conventional preparation methods,flash sintering allows fast production of novel high‐performance ZnO varistor ceramics with low energy consumption and controlled grain growth.Herein,ZnO varistor ceramics were prepared using the flash sintering method at an air pressure of 21 kPa for 60 s at 25℃.The results showed that the flash‐sintered samples had fine grains and reduced loss of volatile elements.Moreover,the voltage gradient,leakage current density,and non‐linear coefficient of the flash‐sintered varistor ceramics were significantly improved compared with those of conventionally sintered samples.Owing to the short preparation time and absence of a heating process,the energy consumption of the proposed flash sintering method was significantly reduced to 10%of that by conventional sintering.The proposed method is a promising approach for the preparation of ZnO arresters with excellent electrical properties and serves as an effective method that realises energy saving and emission reduction.Angxuan Wu Zhixiang Zhu Xilin Wang Nianping Yan Hongyang Zhou Rongxia Huang Guoming Ma Zhidong Jia Liming Wang 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:2
5Intensity modulated radiation therapy with simultaneous integrated boost based dose escalation on neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy for locally advanced distal esophageal adenocarcinoma显示文摘AIM:To evaluate impact of radiation therapy dose escalation through intensity modulated radiation therapy with simultaneous integrated boost(IMRT-SIB).METHODS:We retrospectively reviewed the patients who underwent four-dimensional-based IMRT-SIBbased neoadjuvant chemoradiation protocol.During the concurrent chemoradiation therapy,radiation therapy was through IMRT-SIB delivered in 28 consecutive daily fractions with total radiation doses of 56 Gy to tumor and 5040 Gy dose-painted to clinical tumor volume,with a regimen at the discretion of the treating medical oncologist.This was followed by surgical tumor resection.We analyzed pathological completion response(p CR) rates its relationship with overall survival and event-freesurvival.RESULTS:Seventeen patients underwent dose escalation with the IMRT-SIB protocol between 2007 and 2014 and their records were available for analysis.Among the IMRT-SIB-treated patients,the toxicity appeared mild,the most common side effects were grade 1-3 esophagitis(46%) and pneumonitis(11.7%).There were no cardiac events.The Ro resection rate was 94%(n = 16),the p CR rate was 47%(n = 8),and the postoperative morbidity was zero.There was one mediastinal failure found,one patient had local failure at the anastomosis site,and the majority of failures were distant in the lung or bone.The 3-year diseasefree survival and overall survival rates were 41%(n = 7) and 53%(n = 9),respectively.CONCLUSION:The dose escalation through IMRT-SIB in the chemoradiation regimen seems responsible for down-staging the distal esophageal with well-tolerated complications.Ming Zeng Fernando N Aguila Taral Patel Mark Knapp XueQiang Zhu XiLin Chen Phillip D Price 2016World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2016,8,5:1

16Solution-processed wafer-scale nanoassembly of conducting polymers enables selective ultratrace nerve agent detection at low power显示文摘There is a great interest in developing microelectronic devices based on nanostructured conducting polymers that can selectively electro-couple analytes at high sensitivity and low power.Nanostructured conducting polymers have emerged as promising candidates for this technology due to their excellent stability with low redox potential,high conductivity,and selectivity endowed by chemical functionalization.However,it remains challenging to develop cost-effective and large-scale assembly approaches for functionalized conducting polymers in the practical fabrication of electronic devices.Here,we reported a straightforward waferscale assembly of nanostructured hexafluoroisopropanol functionalized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT-HFIP)on smooth substrates.This approach is template-free,solution-processed,and adaptable to conductive and nonconductive substrates.By this approach,the nanostructured PEDOT-HFIPs could be easily integrated onto interdigitated electrodes with intimate ohmic contact.At the optimized space-to-volume ratio,we demonstrated a low-power,sensitive,and selective nerve agent sensing technology using this platform by detecting sarin vapor with a limit of detection(LOD)of 10 ppb and signal strength of 400 times the water interference at the same concentration,offering significant advantages over existing similar technologies.We envision that its easy scale-up,micro size,small power consumption,and combination of high sensitivity and selectivity make it attractive for various wearable platforms.Bin Luo Jianan Weng Zhi Geng Qichao Pan Xilin Pei Yong He Chuanzhi Chen Hongxing Zhang Renbo Wei Yupeng Yuan Jin Yang Jinyi Ma Zhengwei You Bo Zhu 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0

18Excitonic devices based on two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides van der Waals heterostructures显示文摘Excitonic devices are an emerging class of technology that utilizes excitons as carriers for encoding, transmitting, and storing information. Van der Waals heterostructures based on transition metal dichalcogenides often exhibit a type II band alignment, which facilitates the generation of interlayer excitons. As a bonded pair of electrons and holes in the separation layer, interlayer excitons offer the chance to investigate exciton transport due to their intrinsic out-of-plane dipole moment and extended exciton lifetime. Furthermore, interlayer excitons can potentially analyze other encoding strategies for information processing beyond the conventional utilization of spin and charge. The review provided valuable insights and recommendations for researchers studying interlayer excitonic devices within van der Waals heterostructures based on transition metal dichalcogenides. Firstly, we provide an overview of the essential attributes of transition metal dichalcogenide materials, focusing on their fundamental properties, excitonic effects, and the distinctive features exhibited by interlayer excitons in van der Waals heterostructures. 19Genome-wide identification and analysis of cytokinin dehydrogenase/oxidase(CKX) family genes in Brassica oleracea L.reveals their involvement in response to Plasmodiophora brassicae infections显示文摘Cytokinins are a class of phytohormones that promote cell division and differentiation and are thought to affect plant immunity to multiple pathogens.However,a comprehensive analysis of cytokinin dehydrogenase/oxidase(CKX)family genes in cabbage has not been reported.In this study,a total of 36 CKX genes were identified using a genome-wide search method.Phylogenetic analysis classified these genes into three groups.They were distributed unevenly across nine chromosomes in B.oleracea,and 15 of them did not contain any introns.The results of colinearity analysis showed that 36 CKX gene in Arabidopsis was present in several copies in the Brassica oleracea genome.An analysis of cisacting elements indicated that all genes possessed at least one stress or hormone responsive cis-acting element.A heatmap of CKX gene expression showed the patterns of expression of these genes in various tissues and organs.Three genes(Bol028363,Bol031036 and Bol018140)were relatively highly expressed in all of the investigated tissues under normal conditions,showing the expression profile of housekeeping genes.Generally,the expression patterns of CKX genes in Jingfeng 1 and Xiangan 336 were quite different under the same treatment.Notably,three genes(Bol020547,Bol028392 and Bol045724)were significantly down-regulated and up-regulated in the susceptible and resistant material,respectively,after inoculation,which may indicate their crucial roles in resistance to clubroot disease.The results provide insights for better understanding the roles of CKX genes in the B.oleracea–P.brassicae interaction.Mingzhao Zhu Yong Wang Shujin Lu Limei Yang Mu Zhuang Yangyong Zhang Honghao Lv Zhiyuan Fang Xilin Hou 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,1:0
20Gas-discharge induced flash sintering of YSZ ceramics at room temperature显示文摘This is the first study to conduct the flash sintering of 3 mol%yttria-stabilized zirconia(3YSZ)ceramics at room temperature(25℃)under a strong electric field,larger than 1 kV/cm.At the standard atmospheric pressure(101 kPa),the probability of successful sintering is approximately half of that at low atmospheric pressure,lower than 80 kPa.The success of the proposed flash sintering process was determined based on the high electric arc performance at different atmospheric pressures ranging from 20 to 100 kPa.The 3YSZ samples achieved a maximum relative density of 99.5%with a grain size of~200 nm.The results showed that as the atmospheric pressure decreases,the onset electric field of flash sintering decreases,corresponding to the empirical formula of the flashover voltage.Moreover,flash sintering was found to be triggered by the surface flashover of ceramic samples,and the electric arc on the sample surfaces floated upward before complete flash sintering at overly high pressures,resulting in the failure of flash sintering.This study reveals a new method for the facile preparation of flash-sintered ceramics at room temperature,which will promote the application of flash sintering in the ceramic industry.Yuchen ZHU Hongyang ZHOU Rongxia HUANG Nianping YAN Xilin WANG Guanghua LIU Zhidong JIA 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,4:0
