1Classification and regionalization of the forming environment of windblown sand disasters along the Tarim Desert Highway显示文摘Through the systematic field survey and observations, the factor quantification as well as setting the criteria, the sand disaster-forming environment along the Tarim Desert Highway can be divided into four grades by the classification and regionalization based on fuzzy mathematics. The length of the regions with significant sand disaster accounted for 37.1% of the total highway length. Particularly, the area along the Tarim Desert Highway, based on the sand disaster-forming environment classification as well as the difference in the five basic landform units along the highway, combined with the difference of wind regime, can be divided into five regions, in which the length of the regions suffering severe sand damage occupied 64.3% of the total highway length. 2Surveying brain tumor heterogeneity by single-cell RNA-sequencing of multi-sector biopsies显示文摘Brain tumors are among the most challenging human tumors for which the mechanisms driving progression and heterogeneity remain poorly understood.We combined single-cell RNA-seq with multi-sector biopsies to sample and analyze single-cell expression profiles of gliomas from 13 Chinese patients.After classifying individual cells;we generated a spatial and temporal landscape of glioma that revealed the patterns of invasion between the different sub-regions of gliomas.We also used single-cell inferred copy number variations and pseudotime trajectories to inform on the crucial branches that dominate tumor progression.The dynamic cell components of the multi-region biopsy analysis allowed us to spatially deconvolute with unprecedented accuracy the transcriptomic features of the core and those of the periphery of glioma at single-cell level.Through this rich and geographically detailed dataset,we were also able to characterize and construct the chemokine and chemokine receptor interactions that exist among different tumor and non-tumor cells.This study provides the first spatial-level analysis of the cellular states that characterize human gliomas.It also presents an initial molecular map of the cross-talks between glioma cells and the surrounding microenvironment with single-cell resolution.Kai Yu Yuqiong Hu Fan Wu Qiufang Guo Zenghui Qian Waner Hu Jing Chen Kuanyu Wang Xiaoying Fan Xinglong Wu John EJ Rasko Xiaolong Fan Antonio lavarone Tao Jiang Fuchou Tang Xiao-Dong Su 2020National Science Review2020,7,8:4

4Induced transformation of antimony trioxide by Mn(II) oxidation and their co-transformed mechanism显示文摘Antimony(Sb)is a toxic and carcinogenic element that often enters soil in the form of antimony trioxide(Sb_(2)O_(3))and coexists with manganese(Mn)in weakly alkaline conditions.Mn oxides such as birnessite have been found to promote the oxidative dissolution of Sb_(2)O_(3),but few researches concerned the co-transformations of Sb_(2)O_(3) and Mn(II)in environment.This study investigated themutual effect of abiotic oxidation of Mn(II)and the coupled oxidative dissolution of Sb_(2)O_(3).The influencing factors,such as Mn(II)concentrations,pH and oxygen were also discussed.Furthermore,their co-transformed mechanism was also explored based on the analysis of Mn(II)oxidation products with or without Sb_(2)O_(3) using XRD,SEM and XPS.The results showed that the oxidative dissolution of Sb_(2)O_(3) was enhanced under higher pH and higher Mn(II)loadings.With a lower Mn(II)concentration such as 0.01 mmol/L Mn(II)at pH 9.0,the improved dissolution of Sb_(2)O_(3) was attributed to the generation of dissolved intermediate Mn(III)species with strong oxidation capacity.However,under higher Mn(II)concentrations,both amorphous Mn(III)oxides and intermediate Mn(III)species were responsible for promoting the oxidative dissolution of Sb_(2)O_(3).Most released Sb(∼72%)was immobilized by Mn oxides and Sb(V)was dominant in the adsorbed and dissolved total Sb.Meanwhile,the presence of Sb_(2)O_(3) not only inhibited the removal of Mn(II)by reducing Mn(III)to Mn(II)but also affected the final products of Mn oxides.For example,amorphous Mn oxides were formed instead of crystalline Mn(III)oxides,such as MnOOH.Furthermore,rhodochrosite(MnCO_(3))was formed with the high Mn(II)/Sb_(2)O_(3) ratio,but without being observed in the low Mn(II)/Sb_(2)O_(3) ratio.The results of study could help provide more understanding about the fate of Sb in the environment and the redox transformation of Mn.You Lv Caixiang Zhang Chao Nan Zenghui Fan Shuxin Huang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,7:0

6Achieving 1.2 fm/Hz^(1/2)Displacement Sensitivity with Laser Interferometry in Two-Dimensional Nanomechanical Resonators:Pathways towards Quantum-Noise-Limited Measurement at Room Temperature显示文摘Laser interferometry is an important technique for ultrasensitive detection of motion and displacement.We push the limit of laser interferometry through noise optimization and device engineering.The contribution of noises other than shot noise is reduced from 92.6%to 62.4%,demonstrating the possibility towards shotnoise-limited measurement.Using noise thermometry,we quantify the laser heating effect and determine the range of laser power values for room-temperature measurements.With detailed analysis and optimization of signal transduction,we achieve 1.2 fm/Hz^(1/2)displacement measurement sensitivity at room temperature in twodimensional(2D)Ca Nb_(2)O_(6)nanomechanical resonators,the best value reported to date among all resonators based on 2D materials.Our work demonstrates a possible pathway towards quantum-noise-limited measurement at room temperature.Jiankai Zhu Luming Wang Jiaqi Wu Yachun Liang Fei Xiao Bo Xu Zejuan Zhang Xiulian Fan Yu Zhou Juan Xia Zenghui Wang 2023Chinese Physics Letters2023,40,3:0
