2Evaluation of the Trend Uncertainty in Summer Ozone Valley over the Tibetan Plateau in Three Reanalysis Datasets显示文摘Trend uncertainty in the ozone valley over the Tibetan Plateau(OVTP)and the South Asian high(SAH)during1979–2009 in ERA-Interim(interim reanalysis data from the ECMWF),JRA-55(55-yr reanalysis data from the Japan Meteorological Agency),and NCEP-CFSR(Climate Forecast System Reanalysis)datasets was evaluated.The results showed that the NCEP-CFSR OVTP became strong in the summers of 1979–2009,whereas it became weak according to ERA-Interim and JRA-55.Satellite data merged with TOMS(Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer)and OMI(Ozone Monitoring Instrument)agreed with the OVTP trend of NCEP-CFSR.The OVTP strengthening in NCEP-CFSR may have been caused by SAH intensification,a rising tropopause,and increasing ozone over non-TP(non-Tibetan Plateau)areas(27°–37°N,<75°E and>105°E).Analogously,the OVTP weakening in ERA-Interim and JRA-55 may have been affected by weakening SAH,descending tropopause,and decreasing non-TP ozone.Dong GUO Yucheng SU Xiuji ZHOU Jianjun XU Chunhua SHI Yu LIU Weiliang LI Zhenkun LI 2017Journal of Meteorological Research2017,31,2:13
3A case-control study about the association between vascular endothelial growth inhibitor gene polymorphisms and breast cancer risk in female patients in Northeast China显示文摘Objective: The inhibition of the neovascularization in tumors is a potential therapeutic target of cancer. Vascular endothelial growth inhibitor(VEGI) is a member of the TNF superfamily which has the ability to suppress the formation of new vessels in tumors. In order to study the association between VEGI gene polymorphisms and breast cancer risk, a case-control study was conducted in Chinese Han women in Northeast China.Methods: Our study involved 708 female breast cancer patients and 685 healthy volunteers. Four SNPs of VEGI gene were analyzed through the polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) method. The association between VEGI gene polymorphisms and breast cancer risk was analyzed in our study. The relation between VEGI gene variants and clinical features of breast cancer including lymph node(LN) metastasis, estrogen receptor(ER), progestrogen receptor(PR), tumor protein 53(p53), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(Her-2) and triple negative(ER-/PR-/Her-2-) status was analyzed as well.Results: We found that the CT genotype and T allele of rs6478106 were more frequent in patients than in controls. There was also a statistical difference in the distribution of C_(rs6478106)G_(rs4263839) haplotype between patients and controls. 4Optical Image Encryption Based on Mixed Chaotic Maps and Single-Shot Digital Holography显示文摘Random phase masks play a key role in optical image encryption schemes based on double random phase technique. In this paper, a mixed chaotic method is proposed, which can efficiently solve some weaknesses that one-dimensional(1-D) single chaotic maps encounter to generate random phase masks. Based on the chaotic random phase masks, optical image encryption and decryption are realized with a single-shot digital holographic technique. In the proposed encryption scheme, the initial value and parameters of mixed chaotic maps serve as secret keys,which is convenient for the key management and transmission. Moreover, it also possesses high resistance against statistical attack, brute-force attack, noise attack and shear attack. 7Controllable printing of large-scale compact perovskite films for flexible photodetectors显示文摘Perovskite materials are promising candidates for the next generation of wearable optoelectronics.However,due to uncontrolled crystallization and the natural brittle property of crystals,it remains a great challenge to fabricate large-scale compact and tough perovskite film.Here we report a facile method to print large-scale perovskite films with high quality for flexible photodetectors.By introducing a soluble polyethylene oxide(PEO)layer during the inkjet printing process,the nucleation and crystal growth of perovskite is well controlled.Perovskite films can be easily printed in large scale and patterned in high resolution.Moreover,this method can be extended to various kinds of perovskite materials,such as MAPbb(MA=methylammonium),MA_(3)Sb_(2)l_(9),and(BA)_(2)PbBr_(4)(BA=benzylammonium).The printed perovskite films show high quality and excellent mechanical performance.The photodetectors based on the MAPbBr3 perovskite films show a responsivity up to -1,036 mAA/V and maintain over 96.8%of the initial photocurrent after 15,000 consecutive bending cycles.This strategy provides a facile approach to prepare large-scale flexible perovskite films.It opens up new opportunities for the fabrication of diverse wearable optoelectronic devices.Zhenkun Gu Ying Wang Shiheng Wang Ting Zhang Rudai Zhao Xiaotian Hu Zhandong Huang Meng Su Qun Xu Lihong Li Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

9FGF10 mitigates doxorubicin-induced myocardial toxicity in mice via activation of FGFR2b/PHLDA1/AKT axis显示文摘Doxorubicin is a common chemotherapeutic agent in clinic, but myocardial toxicity limits its use. Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) 10, a multifunctional paracrine growth factor, plays diverse roles in embryonic and postnatal heart development as well as in cardiac regeneration and repair. In this study we investigated the role of FGF10 as a potential modulator of doxorubicin-induced cardiac cytotoxicity and the underlying molecular mechanisms. Fgf10+/− mice and an inducible dominant negative FGFR2b transgenic mouse model (Rosa26rtTA;tet(O)sFgfr2b) were used to determine the effect of Fgf10 hypomorph or blocking of endogenous FGFR2b ligands activity on doxorubicin-induced myocardial injury. Acute myocardial injury was induced by a single injection of doxorubicin (25 mg/kg, i.p.). Then cardiac function was evaluated using echocardiography, and DNA damage, oxidative stress and apoptosis in cardiac tissue were assessed. We showed that doxorubicin treatment markedly decreased the expression of FGFR2b ligands including FGF10 in cardiac tissue of wild type mice, whereas Fgf10+/− mice exhibited a greater degree of oxidative stress, DNA damage and apoptosis as compared with the Fgf10+/+ control. Pre-treatment with recombinant FGF10 protein significantly attenuated doxorubicin-induced oxidative stress, DNA damage and apoptosis both in doxorubicin-treated mice and in doxorubicin-treated HL-1 cells and NRCMs. We demonstrated that FGF10 protected against doxorubicin-induced myocardial toxicity via activation of FGFR2/Pleckstrin homology-like domain family A member 1 (PHLDA1)/Akt axis. 12Effects ofβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid on the nutritional-immune response and antioxidant signaling pathways of live tiger grouper during simulated transport显示文摘Transport in water is the most common method for transporting live fish in China,however,transport is a strong stressor.Transport stress could lead to a reduced immune and antioxidant system function of tiger grouper,resulting in sickness and death.Besides,tiger grouper were continuously stressed during transport,which resulted in quality deterioration.It is necessary that find a way to relieve the stress of transportation of tiger grouper.Ascorbic acid is not only a good anti-stress agent,but it is also an effective immunostimulant.β-1,3-glucan is a feed additive that can enhance the immune response of fish.Therefore,this study evaluated the effects ofβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid on the nutritional-immune response and antioxidant signaling pathways of live tiger grouper during simulated transport.Results indicated that addingβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid in transport-water muted the increase of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)activity.In addition,β-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid activated Nrf2 and mediated TOR expression and then up-regulate related mRNA expression of antioxidant and immune enzymes.We concluded that the application ofβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid inhibit the increase of metabolism enzymes and inflammatory factors and activate immune and antioxidant signaling pathways to relieve oxidant stress,immune response,and apoptosis.Reducing the loss of amino acids provided nutrients to relieve oxidative stress and immune response,which demonstrated immune-nutritional response in live tiger grouper during simulated transport.These results may provide a new solution for alleviating the decline of immune and antioxidant function of tiger grouper caused by transportation stress.Bo Wu Zhenkun Xu Jie Cao Qi Wang Jun Mei Jing Xie 2024Aquaculture and Fisheries2024,9,2:0
13Regulation of AMPK activation by extracellular matrix stiffness in pancreatic cancer显示文摘The adenosine monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK)sits at a cen-tral node in the regulation of energy metabolism and tumor progression.AMPK is best known to sense high cellular ADP or AMP levels,which indicate the depletion of energy stores.Previous studies have shown that the low expression of phosphorylated AMPK is associated with a poor prognosis of pancreatic cancer.In this study,we report that AMPK is also highly sensitive to extracellular matrix(ECM)stiffness.We found that AMPK is activated in cells when cultured under low ECM stiffness conditions and is functionally required for the metabolic switch induced by ECM stiffness.This regulation of AMPK requires the Hippo kinases but not LKB1/CaMKKp.Hippo kinases directly phosphorylate AMPKa at Thr172 to activate AMPK at low ECM stiffness.Furthermore,we found AMPK activity is inhibited in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)with high ECM stiffness and is associated with a poor survival outcome.The activation of Hippo kinases by ROCK inhibitor Y-27632 in combination with the mitochondrial inhibitor metformin synergistically activates AMPK and dramatically inhibits PDAC growth.Together,these findings establish a novel model for AMPK regulation by the mechanical properties of ECMs and provide a rationale for simultaneously targeting the ECM stiffness-Hippo kinases-AMPK signaling and low glucose-LKB1-AMPK signaling pathways as an effective therapeutic strategy against PDAC.Xin Xu Yuan Fang Somaira Nowsheen Ye-Xiong Li Zhenkun Lou Min Deng 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,3:0
