3Numerical and experimental research on different inlet configurations of high speed centrifugal compressor显示文摘Three different inlet configurations,including a original straight pipe and two bend pipes with different axial length,for a high speed low mass flow centrifugal compressor were modeled with whole blade passages and simulated unsteadily by 3D viscous Navier-Stokes equations.The performance disparities of compressor stage were tested and verified by experiments in which dynamic pressure data acquisition of internal flow field was performed.As the result shows,the choke point decreases to lower mass flow rate due to the distortion caused by bend-pipe inlet and is aggravated as the rotation speed increases.The distortion effect spreads circumferentially in impeller and makes the flow structure varied.The longer axial distance bent inlet leads to larger radial distortion and heavy blockage at mid-span under large mass flow mainly causes compressor choke margin nar-rowed.Bend pipe distortion brings an impact up to diffuser on unsteady pressure pulsation caused by blades sweep and the impact appears more powerful when it is closer to volute tongue.LI Du YANG Ce ZHOU Mi ZHU ZhiFu WANG Hang 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,1:9

5Effects of composite scale on high temperature oxidation resistance of Fe-Cr-Ni heat resistant alloy显示文摘Fe-Cr-Ni heat resistant alloys with aluminum and silicon addition,alone and in combination,were melted using an intermediate frequency induction furnace with a non-oxidation method.By the oxidation weight gain method,the oxidation resistances of the test alloys were determined at 1,200 oC for 500 hours.According to the oxidation weight gains,the oxidation kinetic curves were plotted and the functions were regressed by the least squares method.The results show that the oxidation kinetic curves follow the power function of y = axb(a>0,0Wang Haitao Wang Yuqing Yu Huashun Min Guanghui Wang Zhifu 2009China Foundry2009,6,2:6
6Effects of ammonium and nitrate on encystment and growth of Scrippsiella trochoidea显示文摘To avoid unfavorable environmental conditions, Scrippsiella trochoidea is capable of forming a resting cyst in the process of growth. In the present study,we investigated the effects of nitrate and ammonium on the growth and encystment of S. trochoidea. We incubated S.trochoidea in modified f/2 media without nitrogen and silicate in flasks. The flasks were divided into two groups.Nitrate was added as a nitrogen source in the first group,and ammonium was added in the second group. The concentrations of the nitrogen compounds were 0, 10, 30, 60,and 90 lmol/L. The results indicate that NO3--N favors cell growth, and the cultures with a higher concentration of NO3--N were ineffective at forming cysts. In contrast,NH4--N promoted cell growth and cyst formation. At similar concentrations as NO3--N, NH4--N had a toxic effect on cell growth and increased the cyst formation ratio.Thus, the NH4--N concentration is an important factor for controlling encystment. 7PINK1 kinase dysfunction triggers neurodegeneration in the primate brain without impacting mitochondrial homeostasis显示文摘In vitro studies have established the prevalent theory that the mitochondrial kinase PINK1 protects neurodegeneration by removing damaged mitochondria in Parkinson's disease(PD).However,difficulty in detecting endogenous PINK1 protein in rodent brains and cell lines has prevented the rigorous investigation of the in vivo role of PINK1.Here we report that PINK1 kinase form is selectively expressed in the human and monkey brains.CRISPR/Cas9-mediated deficiency of PINK1 causes similar neurodegeneration in the brains of fetal and adult monkeys as well as cultured monkey neurons without affecting mitochondrial protein expression and morphology.Importantly,PINK1 mutations in the primate brain and human cells reduce protein phosphorylation that is important for neuronal function and survival.Our findings suggest that PINK1 kinase activity rather than its mitochondrial function is essential for the neuronal survival in the primate brains and that its kinase dysfunction could be involved in the pathogenesis of PD.Weili Yang Xiangyu Guo Zhuchi Tu Xiusheng Chen Rui Han Yanting Liu Sen Yan Qi Wang Zhifu Wang Xianxian Zhao Yunpeng Zhang Xin Xiong Huiming Yang Peng Yin Huida Wan Xingxing Chen Jifeng Guo Xiao-Xin Yan Lujian Liao Shihua Li Xiao-Jiang Li 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,1:3
8Environmental taxation and regional inequality in China显示文摘In order to combat environmental pollution, China enacted the Environmental Protection Tax Law in early 2018. Yet the impacts of the environmental tax on individual regions with different socioeconomic statuses, which are crucial for social justice and public acceptance, remain unclear. Based on a MultiRegional Input-Output(MRIO) table and a nationally regulated tax payment calculation method, this study analyzes the distributional impacts of an environmental tax based upon province’s consumption from both inter-provincial and rural-urban aspects. The national tax revenue based on the current levy mechanism is estimated to be only one seventh of the economic loss from premature mortality caused by ambient particulate matter(PM2.5). The taxation may slightly alleviate urban-rural inequality but may not be helpful with reducing inter-provincial inequality. We further analyze two alternative levy mechanisms. 9Integration of high-fidelity model of forward variable area bypass injector into zero-dimensional variable cycle engine model显示文摘Forward Variable Area Bypass Injector(FVABI)is one of key components which contributes to modulate the cycle parameters of Variable Cycle Engine(VCE)under various operation conditions.The modeling method of zero-dimensional FVABI was reviewed and its deficiency was analyzed based on FVABI flow characteristic.In order to improve the accuracy of VCE performance simulation,the high-fidelity modeling method of FVABI was developed based on its working characteristics.Then it was coupled with the zero-dimensional VCE model and the multi-level VCE model was built.The results indicate that the geometric and aerodynamic parameters can affect the interaction between the two airflows and the zero-dimensional FVABI model is too simple to predict the component performance accurately,especially when the FVABI inner bypass is chocked.Based on the performance curves for single bypass mode and the regression model of multi-scale support vector regression for double bypass mode,the high-fidelity model can predict FVABI performance accurately and rapidly.The integration of high-fidelity FVABI model into zerodimensional VCE model can be done by adjusting iterative variables and balance equations.The multi-level model has good convergence and it can predict VCE performance when the FVABI inner bypass is chocked.Fu SONG Li ZHOU Zhanxue WANG Zhifu LIN Jingwei SHI 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,8:3
