2Calibration of Mars Energetic Particle Analyzer (MEPA)显示文摘The first Mars exploration mission of China(Tianwen-1)is scheduled to be launched in 2020;a charged particle telescope,the Mars Energetic Particle Analyzer(MEPA),is carried as one of the payloads on the orbiter.The MEPA is designed to measure solar energetic particles(SEPs)and galactic cosmic rays(GCRs)in the near-Mars space and in the transfer orbit from Earth to Mars.Before the launch,the MEPA was calibrated in ground experiments with radioactive sources,electronic pulses,and accelerator beams.The calibration parameters,such as energy conversion constants,threshold values for the triggers,and particle identification criteria,were determined and have been stored for onboard use.The validity of the calibration parameters has been verified with radioactive sources and beams.The calibration results indicate that the MEPA can measure charged particles reliably,as designed,and that it can satisfy the requirements of the Tianwen-1 mission.ShuWen Tang Yi Wang HongYun Zhao Fang Fang Yi Qian YongJie Zhang HaiBo Yang CunHui Li Qiang Fu Jie Kong XiangYu Hu Hong Su ZhiYu Sun YuHong Yu BaoMing Zhang Yu Sun ZhiPeng Sun 2020Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,4:2
3Detection of laser-induced optical defects based on image segmentation显示文摘A number of vision-based methods for detecting laser-induced defects on optical components have been implemented to replace the time-consuming manual inspection.While deep-learning-based methods have achieved state-of-the-art performances in many visual recognition tasks,their success often hinges on the availability of a large number of labeled training sets.In this paper,we propose a surface defect detection method based on image segmentation with a U-shaped convolutional network(U-Net).The designed network was trained on paired sets of online and offline images of optics from a large laser facility.We show in our experimental evaluation that our approach can accurately locate laser-induced defects on the optics in real time.The main advantage of the proposed method is that the network can be trained end to end on small samples,without the requirement for manual labeling or manual feature extraction.The approach can be applied to the daily inspection and maintenance of optical components in large laser facilities.Xinkun Chu Hao Zhang Zhiyu Tian Qing Zhang Fang Wang Jing Chen Yuanchao Geng 2019High Power Laser Science and Engineering2019,7,4:2
4Mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor reduces cell apoptosis via upregulating HSP70 in SHSY-5Y cells显示文摘Background:Mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor(MANF)is a new candidate growth factor for dopaminergic neurons against endoplasmic reticulum stress(ER stress).HSP70 family,a chaperon like heat shock protein family,was proved to be involved in the MANF induced survival pathway in 6-OHDA treated SHSY-5Y cells.However,the ER stress relative transcriptome,in MANF signaling cascades is still investigated.The involvement of HSP70,a 70kd member of HSP70 family,need further to be verified.Methods:The cell apoptosis was assayed by MTT,TUNEL staining and western blot of cleaved Caspase-3.The differentially expressed genes in SHSY-5Y cells under different conditions(control,6-OHDA,6-OHDA+MANF)were investigated by RNA-seq.Expression of HSP70 was further confirmed by real-time PCR.RNAi knockdown for HSP70 was performed to investigate the role of HSP70 in the MANF signaling pathway.Results:MANF inhibits 6-OHDA-induced apoptosis in SHSY-5Y cells.Six ER stress relative genes(HSP70,GRP78,xbp-1,ATF-4,ATF-6,MAPK)were found enriched in 6-OHDA+MANF treatment group.HSP70 was the most significantly up-regulated gene under 6-OHDA+MANF treatment in SHSY-5Y cells.RNAi knockdown for HSP70 inhibits the protective effects of MANF against 6-OHDA toxicity in SHSY-5Y cells.Conclusion:MANF exerts a protective role against 6-OHDA induced apoptosis in SHSY-5Y cells via up-regulating some ER stress genes,including HSP70 family members.The HSP70 expression level plays a key role in MANFmediated survival pathway.Hui Sun Ming Jiang Xing Fu Qiong Cai Jingxing Zhang Yanxin Yin Jia Guo Lihua Yu Yun Jiang Yigang Liu Liang Feng Zhiyu Nie Jianmin Fang Lingjing Jin 2017Translational Neurodegeneration2017,6,1:2
5Progress in the beam commissioning of separated function RFQ accelerator显示文摘Separated Function RFQ (SFRFQ) was proposed as a post accelerator of RFQ to accelerate heavy ions at low frequency. It introduces gap accelerating in the quadrupole electrodes, and therefore it has higher accelerating efficiency than the conventional RFQ accelerator. The first SFRFQ prototype cavity has been specially designed and constructed as a post accelerator to accelerate O+ beam from 1.03 MeV to 1.64 MeV. Based on accomplishment of low power measurement and high power test, the beam commissioning was carried out to verify its feasibility. 7Early Diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder Coming Soon:Application of an Oxidative Stress Injury Biomarker(BIOS)Model显示文摘Early distinction of bipolar disorder(BD)from major depressive disorder(MDD)is difficult since no tools are available to estimate the risk of BD.In this study,we aimed to develop and validate a model of oxidative stress injury for predicting BD.Data were collected from 1252 BD and 1359 MDD patients,including 64 MDD patients identified as converting to BD from 2009 through 2018.30 variables from a randomly-selected subsample of 1827(70%)patients were used to develop the model,including age,sex,oxidative stress markers(uric acid,bilirubin,albumin,and prealbumin),sex hormones,cytokines,thyroid and liver function,and glycolipid metabolism.Univariate analyses and the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator were applied for data dimension reduction and variable selection.Multivariable logistic regression was used to construct a model for predicting bipolar disorder by oxidative stress biomarkers(BIOS)on a nomogram.Internal validation was assessed in the remaining 784 patients(30%),and independent external validation was done with data from 3797 matched patients from five other hospitals in China.10 predictors,mainly oxidative stress markers,were shown on the nomogram.The BIOS model showed good discrimination in the training sample,with an AUC of 75.1%(95%CI:72.9%–77.3%),sensitivity of 0.66,and specificity of 0.73.The discrimination was good both in internal validation(AUC 72.1%,68.6%–75.6%)and external validation(AUC 65.7%,63.9%–67.5%).In this study,we developed a nomogram centered on oxidative stress injury,which could help in the individualized prediction of BD.For better real-world practice,a set of measurements,especially on oxidative stress markers,should be emphasized using big data in psychiatry.Zhiang Niu Xiaohui Wu Yuncheng Zhu Lu Yang Yifan Shi Yun Wang Hong Qiu Wenjie Gu Yina Wu Xiangyun Long Zheng Lu Shaohua Hu Zhijian Yao Haichen Yang Tiebang Liu Yong Xia Zhiyu Chen Jun Chen Yiru Fang 2022Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,9:1

10Towards resilient average consensus in multi-agent systems:a detection and compensation approach显示文摘Consensus is one of the fundamental distributed control technologies for collaboration in multi-agent systems such as collaborative handling in intelligent manufacturing.In this paper,we study the problem of resilient average consensus for multi-agent systems with misbehaving nodes.To protect consensus value from being influenced by misbehaving nodes,we address this problem by detecting misbehaviors,mitigating the corresponding adverse impact,and achieving the resilient average consensus.General types of misbehaviors are considered,including attacks,accidental faults,and link failures.We characterize the adverse impact of misbehaving nodes in a distributed manner via two-hop communication information and develop a deterministic detection compensation based consensus(D-DCC)algorithm with a decaying fault-tolerant error bound.Considering scenarios wherein information sets are intermittently available due to link failures,a stochastic extension named stochastic detection compensation based consensus(S-DCC)algorithm is proposed.We prove that D-DCC and S-DCC allow nodes to asymptotically achieve resilient accurate average consensus and unbiased resilient average consensus in a statistical sense,respectively.Then,the Wasserstein distance is introduced to analyze the accuracy of S-DCC.Finally,extensive simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.Chongrong FANG Wenzhe ZHENG Zhiyu HE Jianping HE Chengcheng ZHAO Jingpei WANG 2024Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2024,25,2:0

They are usually constructed with a module array design, such as the TOF Wall. 14Role of inflammatory lipid and fatty acid metabolic abnormalities induced by plastic additives exposure in childhood asthma显示文摘Lipid metabolism play an essential role in occurrence and development of asthma,and it can be disturbed by phthalate esters(PAEs)and organophosphate fame retardants(OPFRs).As a chronic infammatory respiratory disease,the occurrence risk of childhood asthma is increased by PAEs and OPFRs exposure,but it remains not entirely clear how PAEs and OPFRs contribute the onset and progress of the disease.We have profiled the serum levels of PAEs and OPFRs congeners by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry,and its relationships with the dysregulation of lipid metabolism in asthmatic,bronchitic(acute infammation)and healthy(non-infammation)children.Eight PAEs and nine OPFRs congeners were found in the serum of children(1–5 years old)from Shenzhen,and their total median levels were 615.16 ng/m L and 17.06 ng/m L,respectively.Moreover,the serum levels of mono-methyl phthalate(MMP),tri-propyl phosphate(TPP)and tri-n-butyl phosphate(TNBP)were significant higher in asthmatic children than in healthy and bronchitic children as control.Thirty-one characteristic lipids and fatty acids of asthma were screened by machine-learning random forest model based on serum lipidome data,and the alterations of infammatory characteristic lipids and fatty acids including palmitic acids,12,13-Di HODE,14,21-Di HDHA,prostaglandin D2 and Lyso PA(18:2)showed significant correlated with high serum levels of MMP,TPP and TNBP.These results imply PAEs and OPFRs promote the occurrence of childhood asthma via disrupting infammatory lipid and fatty acid metabolism,and provide a novel sight for better understanding the effects of plastic additives on childhood asthma.Zhiyu Chen Fang Li Lei Fu Yu Xia Ying Luo Ang Guo Xiaona Zhu Huifang Zhong Qian Luo 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3:0

17Consistency in responses to conspecific advertisement calls with various signal-to-noise ratios in both sexes of the Anhui tree frog显示文摘Environmental noise has a significant negative impact on acoustic communication in most situations,as it influences the production,transmis-sion,and reception of acoustic signals.However,how animals respond to conspecific sounds when there is interference from environmental noise,and whether males and females display convergent behavioral responses in the face of noise masking remain poorly understood.In this study,we investigated the effects of conspecific male advertisement calls with different signal-to-noise ratios on male-male competition and female choice in the Anhui tree frog Rhacophorus zhoukaiyae using playback and phonotaxis experiments,respectively.The results showed that(1)female Anhui tree frogs preferentially selected the conspecific calls with higher SNR compared to calls with lower SNR;(2)males preferen-tially responded vocally to the conspecific calls with higher SNR compared to calls with lower SNR;and(3)males'competitive strategies were flexible in the face of noise interference.These results suggest that preferences of both sexes converge in outcome,and that male competitive strategies may depend on predictable female preferences.This study will provide an important basis for further research on decision-making in animals.Zhiyue Wang Haohao Ma Cheng Chen Ruolei Sun Kai Liu Baowei Zhang Guangzhan Fang 2023Current Zoology2023,69,6:0

20In situ formed cross-linked polymer networks as dual-functional layers for high-stable lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium-metal anodes(LMAs)have been recognized as the ultimate anodes for next-generation batteries with high energy density,but stringent assembly-environment conditions derived from the poor moisture stability dramatically hinder the transformation of LMAs from laboratory to industry.Herein,an in situ formed cross-linked polymer layer on LMAs is designed and constructed by a facile thiol-acrylate click chemistry reaction between poly(ethylene glycol)diacrylate(PEGDA)and the crosslinker containing multi thiol groups under UV irradiation.Owing to the hydrophobic nature of the layer,the treated LMAs demonstrate remarkable humid stability for more than 3 h in ambient air(70%relative humidity).The coating humid-resistant protective layer also possesses a dual-functional characterization as solid polymer electrolytes by introducing lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide in the system in advance.The intimate contact between the polymer layer and LMAs reduces interfacial resistance in the assembled Li/LiFePO_(4)or Li/LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)full cell effectively,and endows the cell with an outstanding cycle performance.Lei Shi Wanhui Wang Chunjuan Wang Yang Zhou Yuezhan Feng Tiekun Jia Fang Wang Zhiyu Min Ji Hu Zhigang Xue 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
