1Effects of the Fhb1 gene on Fusarium head blight resistance and agronomic traits of winter wheat显示文摘The gene Fhb1 has been used in many countries to improve wheat Fusarium head blight(FHB) resistance. To make better use of this gene in the Yellow-Huai River Valleys Winter Wheat Zone(YHWZ), the most important wheat-producing region of China, it is desirable to elucidate its effects on FHB resistance and agronomic traits in different genetic backgrounds. Based on a diagnostic marker for Fhb1, six BC2 populations were developed by crossing dwarf-male-sterile(DMS)-Zhoumai 16 to three Fhb1 donors(Ningmai 9, Ningmai 13, and Jianyang 84) and backcrossing to Zhoumai 16 and Zhoumai16’s derivative cultivars(Lunxuan 136 and Lunxuan 13) using marker-assisted backcross breeding. The progenies were assessed for FHB resistance and major agronomic traits.The Fhb1 alleles were identified using the gene-specific molecular marker. The plants with the Fhb1-resistant genotype(Fhb1-R) in these populations showed significantly fewer infected spikelets than those with the Fhb1-susceptible genotype(Fhb1-S). When Lunxuan 136 was used as the recurrent parent, Fhb1-R plants showed significantly fewer infected spikelets per spike than Fhb1-R plants produced using Lunxuan 13 as the recurrent parent, indicating that the genetic backgrounds of Fhb1 influence the expression of FHB resistance. Fhb1-R plants from the DMS-Zhoumai 16/Ningmai 9//Zhoumai 16/3/Lunxuan 136 population showed the highest FHB resistance among the six populations and a significantly higher level of FHB resistance than the moderately susceptible control Huaimai 20. No significant phenotypic differences between Fhb1-R and Fhb1-S plants were observed for the eight agronomic traits investigated. 2Zero-Thermal Expansion and Heat Capacity of Zirconium Pyrovanadate Doped with Zirconia and Vanadium (V) Oxide显示文摘The dominant phase ZrV2O7 material, doped with zirconia and vanadium (V) oxide, was synthesized by solid state reaction and sol-gel methods. X-ray power diffraction patterns show that it is cubic structure. Thermal mechanic analysis measurements exhibit a zero-thermal expansion of this material above 150℃. Meanwhile, the heat capacity dependent on temperature, determined by differential scanning calorimetry, keeps in constant almost in the same temperature range. 3Effect of amino acid mutation at position 127 in 3A of a rabbitattenuated foot-and-mouth disease virus serotype Asia1 on viral replication and infection显示文摘An amino acid mutation(R127→I) in the 3A non-structural protein of an FMDV serotype Asia1 rabbit-attenuated ZB strain was previously found after attenuation of the virus. To explore the effects of this mutation on viral replication and infection, the amino acid residue isoleucine(I) was changed to arginine(R) in the infectious cDNA clone of the rabbit-attenuated ZB strain by sitedirected mutagenesis, and the R127-mutated virus was rescued. BHK monolayer cells and suckling mice were inoculated with the R127-mutated virus to test its growth property and pathogenicity, respectively. The effects of the R127 mutation on viral replication and virulence were analyzed. The data showed that there was a slight difference in plaque morphology between the R127-mutated and wild-type viruses. The growth rate of the mutated virus was lower in BHK-21 cells and its virulence in suckling mice was also attenuated. 15Synthesis of Cr-Al_2O_3 Cermet Selective Surfaces Coated by SnO_2 Thin Film by Air Plasma Spraying显示文摘High efficient Cr-Al2O3 cermet selective surfaces coated by sol-gel SnO2 thin film for high-temperature application were synthesized by air plasma spraying(APS),followed further heat and polish treatment.The phase composition and micro morphology of coating samples were characterized by X-ray diffractions(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and roughmeter respectively.The solar absorptance(α)and thermal emittance(ε)were determined by optical spectrum instrument.The results show that Cr-Al2O3 cermet coating has a high absorptivity nearly 0.90.But unfortunately,the emissivity of these coatings is nearly 0.50 because of the big thickness and coarse surface prepared by APS technique.However,once coated SnO2 thin film,the composite coatings exhibit excellent selective absorbing property of α=0.89 and ε=0.12.Thus,SnO2 thin film plays a significant role in decreasing the emissivity of coatings as antireflection layer.And furthermore,the optical performance shows that more metal content and smooth surface are favorable for the selective absorbing property.Moreover,the coatings have excellent bond strength with stainless steel substrate and thermal shock resistance at high temperature.Zhu Zhenqi,Cheng Xudong,Li Guanglei School of Materials Science and Technology,Wuhan University of Technology,Wuhan 430070,China 2012稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1:1
