| 1 | A Reconfigurable Block Cryptographic Processor Based on VLIW Architecture显示文摘An Efficient and flexible implementation of block ciphers is critical to achieve information security processing.Existing implementation methods such as GPP,FPGA and cryptographic application-specific ASIC provide the broad range of support.However,these methods could not achieve a good tradeoff between high-speed processing and flexibility.In this paper,we present a reconfigurable VLIW processor architecture targeted at block cipher processing,analyze basic operations and storage characteristics,and propose the multi-cluster register-file structure for block ciphers.As for the same operation element of block ciphers,we adopt reconfigurable technology for multiple cryptographic processing units and interconnection scheme.The proposed processor not only flexibly accomplishes the combination of multiple basic cryptographic operations,but also realizes dynamic configuration for cryptographic processing units.It has been implemented with0.18μm CMOS technology,the test results show that the frequency can reach 350 MHz.and power consumption is 420 mw.Ten kinds of block and hash ciphers were realized in the processor.The encryption throughput of AES,DES,IDEA,and SHA-1 algorithm is1554 Mbps,448Mbps,785 Mbps,and 424 Mbps respectively,the test result shows that our processor's encryption performance is significantly higher than other designs. | LI Wei ZENG Xiaoyang NAN Longmei CHEN Tao DAI Zibin | 2016 | China Communications2016,13,1: | 11 |

| 4 | Metal-organic framework based nanomaterials for electrocatalytic oxygen redox reaction显示文摘Due to the severe environmental issues, many advanced technologies, typically fuel cells and metal-air batteries have aroused widespread concerns and been intensively studied in recent years. However, oxygen redox reactions including oxygen evolution reaction(OER) and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) as the core reactions suffer from sluggish kinetics of the multiple electron transfer process. Currently, Pt, RuO_2, and IrO_2 are considered to be the benchmark catalysts for ORR and OER, but their high price, scarcity and instability hinder them from large-scale application. To overcome these limits, exploring alternative electrocatalysts with low cost, high activity, long-term stability, and earth-abundance is of extreme urgency. Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) are a family of inorganic-organic hybrid materials with high surface areas and tunable structures, making them proper as catalyst candidates. | 5 | A High Energy-Efficient Reconfigurable VLIW Symmetric Cryptographic Processor with Loop Buffer Structure and Chain Processing Mechanism显示文摘By exploring symmetric cryptographic data level and instruction-level parallelism, the reconfigurable processor architecture for symmetric ciphers is presented based on Very-long instruction word(VLIW) structure. The application-specific instruction-set system for symmetric ciphers is proposed. As for the same arithmetic operation of symmetric ciphers, eleven kinds of reconfigurable cryptographic arithmetic units are designed by the reconfigurable technology. As to the requirement of high energy-efficient design, the loop buffer structure for instruction fetching unit is proposed to reduce the power consumption significantly with the same frequency as conventional, meanwhile, the chain processing mechanism is proposed to improve the cryptographic throughput without any area overhead. It has been fabricated with 0.18μm CMOS technology. | 8 | Protective Effect of Holothurian Intestine Against Indomethacin Induced Gastric Mucosal Damage in Rats显示文摘Our study aimed to investigate the protective effects of Holothurian intestines(HI) on NSAIDs-induced gastric mucosal damage and the possible mechanism. At first, 60 male Wistar rats were induced of gastric lesions with indomethacin(IDM, 30 mg kg^(-1)). The rats were pretreated for 15 consecutive days with saline, sucralfate, or HI(0.4g kg^(-1) d-1, 0.8 g kg^(-1) d^(-1) and 1.6 g kg^(-1) d^(-1)) prior to IDM treatment, followed by evaluations of macroscopic damage and microscopic features; and investigation of the levels of inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress parameters, gastric mucosal prostaglandin E2(PGE2) and total hexosamine in tissues. The expression of COX-1 and COX-2 m RNA in the gastric tissue were determined by quantitative polymerase chain reaction(q PCR). Pathological gastric ulcer indexes, levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines(IL-1β, IL-17, TNF-α) and lipid peroxidation were significantly decreased in HI-treated groups, whereas the levels of protective factors(TGF-β, GSH, SOD activity and PGE2) were significantly elevated especially in the group with HI 1.61 g kg^(-1) d^(-1)(P < 0.05). Furthermore, the expression of COX-2 mRNA decreased significantly in HI groups(P < 0.05). It has abundant nutritional value and antiviral, antitumor and immune defense functions. The role of oyster extract in treating liver injury has been paid more attention. We use Wistar rats to make alcoholic liver disease model through injecting alcohol into rats' stomachs. These rats were randomly divided into five groups: model group, control group, low-dose, middle-dose and high-dose experimental group with a dose of 0.12 g kg-1, 0.40 g kg-1, and 1.20 g kg-1 alcoholic. After nine weeks, serum biomarkers(ALT, AST, TG and TCHO), malondialdehyde(MDA), glutathione(GSH), C3a, C5a, IL-17, TNF-ɑ, anti-MAA-HAS IgG, CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, NK cell activation and zinc content were assessed. The results showed that the serum biomarkers(ALT, AST, TG and TCHO), MDA content, anti-MAA-HSA IgG, serum C3a, C5a IL-17 and TNF-ɑ levels of oyster extract treatment groups were significantly decreased in comparison with model group. On the contrary, GSH showed adverse trend. Serum CD3+, CD4+ and NK cell activation were significantly increased in middle-dose group and high-dose group compared with model group, and there was decrease of CD8+ activity in high-dose group. Plasma Zn level was decreased in model group compared with that in control group. | 20 | The main anammox-based processes, the involved microbes and the novel process concept from the application perspective显示文摘Anammox technology has been widely researched over the past 40-year from the laboratory-scale to full-scale. It is well-known that in actual applications, the solo application of anammox is not feasible. Since both ammonium and nitrite are prerequisites based on the reaction mechanism, the pre-treatment of wastewater is necessary. With the combination of anammox process and other pre-treatment processes to treat the actual wastewater, many types of anammox-based processes have been developed with distinct nitrogen removal performance. Thus, in order to heighten the awareness of researchers to the developments and accelerate the application of these processes to the treatment of actual wastewater, the main anammox-based processes are reviewed in this paper. It includes the partial nitritation/anammox process, the denitratation/anammox (PD/A) process, the denitrifying anaerobic methane oxidation/anammox (DAMO/A) process, and more complex deuterogenic processes. These processes have made the breakthroughs in the application of the anammox technology, such as the combination of nitrification and PD/A process can achieve stability and reliability of nitrogen removal in the treatment of mainstream wastewater, the PD/A process and the DAMO/A have brought about further improvements in the total nitrogen removal efficiency of wastewater. The diversity of functional microbe characteristics under the specific condition indicate the wide application potential of anammox-based processes, and further exploration is necessary.
