1A novel selective autophagy receptor,CCDC50,delivers K63 polyubiquitination-activated RIG-I/MDA5 for degradation during viral infection显示文摘Autophagy is a con served process that delivers cytosolic substa nces to the lysosome for degradatio n,but its direct role in the regulation of antiviral inn ate immu nity remains poorly un derstood.Here,through high-throughput screeni ng,we discovered that CCDC50 functions as a previously unknown autophagy receptor that negatively regulates the type I interferon(IFN)signaling pathway initiated by RIG-I-like receptors(RLRs),the sensors for RNA viruses.The expression of CCDC50 is enhanced by viral infection,and CCDC50 specifically recognizes K63-polyubiquitinated RLRs,thus delivering the activated RIG-I/MDA5 for autophagic degradation.The associatio n of CCDC50 with phagophore membrane protei n LC3 is con firmed by crystal structure analysis.In contrast to other known autophagic cargo receptors that associate with either the LIR-docking site(LDS)or the UIMdocking site(UDS)of LC3,CCDC50 can bind to both LDS and UDS,representing a new type of cargo receptor.In mouse models with RNA virus infection,CCDC50 deficiency reduces the autophagic degradation of RIG-I/MDA5 and promotes type I IFN responses,resulting in enhaneed viral resistance and improved survival rates.These results reveal a new link between autophagy and antiviral innate immune resp on ses and provide additional in sights into the regulatory mecha nisms of RLR-mediated antiviral signaling.Panpan Hou Kongxiang Yang Penghui Jia Lan Liu Yuxin Lin Zibo Li Jun Li Shuliang Chen Shuting Guo Ji'An Pan Junyu Wu Hong Peng Weijie Zeng Chunmei Li Yingfang Liu Deyin Guo 2021Cell Research2021,31,1:5
2BFA BASED NEURAL NETWORK FOR IMAGE COMPRESSION显示文摘A novel Bacterial Foraging Algorithm (BFA) based neural network is presented for image compression. To improve the quality of the decompressed images, the concepts of reproduction, elimination and dispersal in BFA are firstly introduced into neural network in the proposed algorithm. 3Microstructure and oxidation resistance of SiC–MoSi_2 multi-phase coating for SiC coated C/C composites显示文摘In order to improve the anti-oxidation of C/C composites, a SiC–MoSi2multi-phase coating for SiC coated carbon/carbon composites(C/C)was prepared by low pressure chemical vapor deposition(LPCVD) using methyltrichlorosilane(MTS) as precursor, combined with slurry painting from MoSi2 powder. The phase composition and morphology were analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) methods, and the deposition mechanism was discussed. The isothermal oxidation and thermal shock resistance were investigated in a furnace containing air environment at 1500 1C. The results show that the as-prepared SiC–MoSi2coating consists of MoSi2 particles as a dispersing phase and CVD–SiC as a continuous phase. The weight loss of the coated samples is 1.51% after oxidation at 1500 1C for 90 h, and 4.79% after 30 thermal cycles between 1500 1C and room temperature. 4Identification of aeolian loess deposits on the Indo-Gangetic Plain(India)and their significance显示文摘Aeolian loess deposits contain abundant information about the evolution of the paleoenvironment.For example,paleoclimate changes recorded in Chinese loess area obtained significant achievement in the past few decades.Compared to Chinese loess,research on Indian loess is lacking.Currently,most studies focus on the Kashmir area located in the southern Himalayas,and studies on other areas are rare.However,field observations demonstrate that the sediments around the New Delhi-Agra-Jaipur Plain are similar to Chinese loess-paleosol sequences.For example,the boundary between two strata is transitional and without horizontal bedding.Moreover,obvious pedogenic horizons developed among sediment sequences,probably indicating unrecognised aeolian deposits in the Indo-Gangetic Plain(IGP).To confirm this,pilot samples were obtained from the IGP and detailed indoor measurements conducted.The results indicate that the distribution patterns of particle size and rare earth elements(REE) of the pilot samples are similar to Chinese loess.Furthermore,the scanning electronic microscopy(SEM) images of pilot samples show obvious conchoidal fractures,dash-shaped concavities,and abundant small pits that usually form through mechanical impact.These are typical characteristics of aeolian particles.In addition,environmental and rock magnetic measurements indicate that the dominant magnetic minerals in the pilot samples are magnetite and maghemite,and that they likely contain small amounts of hematite.Furthermore,conventional magnetic parameters are comparable with Chinese loess.Based on this,aeolian loess deposits are widely distributed in the IGP,which may have promoted the development of Indian farming and contributed towards the prosperity of ancient Indian civilisation.This study also provides a new and valuable record for the research on paleoclimate changes in the study area in the future.LIU XiuMing MA MingMing WU HaiBin ZHOU ZiBo 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,3:2
5Floating Population Increase and Its Influence on the Urban Population Situation:A Case Study in Beijing显示文摘Floating population is a special population group in China resulting from the implementation of household registration system. This paper uses a set of floating population survey data, population censuses data and statistical data to analyze the increase and influence of floating population on the urban population situations in Beijing. It is found that Beijing has experienced a rapid increase of floating population since the 1990s and that the increase of this group has become the key factor of the current population expansion in the city. Its distribution in the urban regions intensified and extended the suburbanization process of the capital. 7Multisensor Remote Sensing Imagery Super-Resolution with Conditional GAN显示文摘Despite the promising performance on benchmark datasets that deep convolutional neural networks have exhibited in single image super-resolution(SISR),there are two underlying limitations to existing methods.First,current supervised learningbased SISR methods for remote sensing satellite imagery do not use paired real sensor data,instead operating on simulated high-resolution(HR)and low-resolution(LR)image-pairs(typically HR images with their bicubic-degraded LR counterparts),which often yield poor performance on real-world LR images.Second,SISR is an ill-posed problem,and the super-resolved image from discriminatively trained networks with l p norm loss is an average of the infinite possible HR images,thus,always has low perceptual quality.Though this issue can be mitigated by generative adversarial network(GAN),it is still hard to search in the whole solution-space and find the best solution.In this paper,we focus on real-world application and introduce a new multisensor dataset for real-world remote sensing satellite imagery super-resolution.In addition,we propose a novel conditional GAN scheme for SISR task which can further reduce the solution-space.Therefore,the super-resolved images have not only high fidelity,but high perceptual quality as well.Extensive experiments demonstrate that networks trained on the introduced dataset can obtain better performances than those trained on simulated data.Additionally,the proposed conditional GAN scheme can achieve better perceptual quality while obtaining comparable fidelity over the state-of-the-art methods.Junwei Wang Kun Gao Zhenzhou Zhang Chong Ni Zibo Hu Dayu Chen Qiong Wu 2021Journal of Remote Sensing2021,,1:0
8A novel lysosome‐localized fluorescent probe with aggregation‐induced emission without alkalinizing effect显示文摘Herein,a novel small molecule probe,tetraphenylethylene‐cystein(TPE‐Cys),was rationally designed and developed for the intracellular lysosome localization.The combination of tetraphenylethylene and cysteine serve as a novel strategy for lysosome‐targeting,with significant aggregation‐induced emission increases with the proportion of water by as high as 25‐folds.Biofluorescence imaging experiments show that the probe TPE‐Cys has a good colocalization effect with the commercially available lysotracker red,with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.91.In addition,we also demonstrate that TPE‐Cys has good light stability.TPE‐Cys,as a neutral compound,is free of alkalinizing effect when applied in lysosome localization.Moreover,molecular dynamics simulations and density function theories are employed to explore the detailed aggregation process and the mechanism of TPE‐Cys aggregation in water solution.The mechanism of lysosome localization of probe TPE‐Cys was explained by cellular endocytosis process and the formation of larger particle in the more acidic environment of lysosomes.This work not only demonstrates an efficient strategy for the construction of fluorescent probes for lysosome localization,but also indicates that they are promising as live cell imaging tools.Jingran Zhang Yan Jia Xinyi Xing Mengmei Qin Zibo Wu Yingqian Zhong Lele Liu Shuqing Sun Peng Li Haiyuan Wang Guangjiu Zhao 2021SmartMat2021,2,4:0
9Self-oxygenated co-assembled biomimetic nanoplatform for enhanced photodynamic therapy in hypoxic tumor显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)has shown great application potential in cancer treatment and the important manifestation of PDT in the inhibition of tumors is the activation of immunogenic cell death(ICD)effects.However,the strategy is limited in the innate hypoxic tumor microenvironment.There are two key elements for the realization of enhanced PDT:specific cellular uptake and release of the photosensitizer in the tumor,and a sufficient amount of oxygen to ensure photodynamic efficiency.Herein,self-oxygenated biomimetic nanoparticles(CS@M NPs)co-assembled by photosensitizer prodrug(Ce6-S-S-LA)and squalene(SQ)were engineered.In the treatment of triple negative breast cancer(TNBC),the oxygen carried by SQ can be converted to reactive oxygen species(ROS).Meanwhile,glutathione(GSH)consumption during transformation from Ce6-S-S-LA to chlorin e6(Ce6)avoided the depletion of ROS.The co-assembled(CS NPs)were encapsulated by homologous tumor cell membrane to improve the tumor targeting.The results showed that the ICD effect of CS@M NPs was confirmed by the significant release of calreticulin(CRT)and high mobility group protein B1(HMGB1),and it significantly activated the immune system by inhibiting the hypoxia inducible factor-1alpha(HIF-1α)-CD39-CD73-adenosine a2a receptor(A2AR)pathway,which not only promoted the maturation of dendritic cells(DC)and the presentation of tumor specific antigens,but also induced effective immune infiltration of tumors.Overall,the integrated nanoplatform implements the concept of multiple advantages of tumor targeting,reactive drug release,and synergistic photodynamic therapy-immunotherapy,which can achieve nearly 90%tumor suppression rate in orthotopic TNBC models.Bingchen Zhang Ling Lin Jizong Mao Weisheng Mo Zibo Li Shengtao Wang Yan Tang Chunhui Cui Yifen Wu Zhiqiang Yu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,10:0
10Flexible radio-frequency micro electro-mechanical switch towards the applications of satellite communications显示文摘This paper presents a flexible radio-frequency microelectromechanical system(RF MEMS)switch integrated on cyclo-olefin polymer(COP)substrate using a modified surface MEMS processing technology,which could be used in the 17-19 GHz frequency band of satellite communication.Through systematic simulation analysis,it is found that flexible RF MEMS switch can achieve certain bending radius by miniaturizing the electronic dimension,without degrading the RF performance.It is demonstrated that the RF characteristics of flexible RF MEMS switch with special anchor structural design,fabricated by modified surface MEMS processing,are not sensitive to bending deformation under the curvature of 0 mm^(-1),0.05 mm^(-1),0.10 mm^(-1).Furthermore,the range of bending curvature which will affect the RF characteristics is given through systematic simulation.The flexible RF MEMS switch with high process compatibility and stable RF performance is believed to be promising candidates for future microwave communications and other consumer electronics.Yingli Shi Chao Zhou Zibo Cao Yurong He Jingwen Guo Chunxin Li Qianhong Wu Kui Liang Yanzhao Li Yuan Lin 2022npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1:0
