| 1 | New records of Jurassic petrified wood in Jianchang of western Liaoning,China and their palaeoclimate implications显示文摘Diverse and rich fossil wood records have been documented from the Mesozoic of Liaoning Province, NE China. The Tiaojishan Formation(mainly distributed in Beipiao, Chaoyang, Fuxin and Jianchang regions) is one of the most significant horizons for the Jurassic petrified wood in Liaoning Province. Previously, wood fossils of this formation were mainly reported in Beipiao and Chaoyang regions, whereas fossil wood record was merely known in Jianchang region. Here we describe new fossil wood specimens from the Tiaojishan Formation in Jianchang County, western Liaoning. Two fossil wood taxa, i.e., Protaxodioxylon jianchangense Tian et Wang sp. nov. and Xenoxylon peidense Zheng et Zhang were recognized on the basis of anatomical features. These fossil wood records add new data for understanding the fossil wood diversity, floral composition and palaeoclimate of the Tiaojishan Formation. | 2 | The Phototropism of Jurassic Petrified Wood in North China Plate显示文摘Trees on the side directly exposed to sunlight generally grow faster than on the opposite side,a phenomenon termed plant phototropism.There are in situ vertical trunks of silicified wood in the Xiadelongwan area of Yanqing County,north Beijing,where the first National Geologic Park of Petrified Wood of China has been built since 2002.A few trunks have well-preserved growth rings.One petrified stump from the formation shows a positive phototropism direction of SW23O0.As compared with the modern normal growth stumps in Beijing plain area,which have a positive phototropism direction of SW210 °± 5°,the evidence of wood phototropism supports the conclusion of previous palaeomagnetic studies that the North China Plate has rotated clockwise since the Late Jurassic.The known petrified wood stumps in the Yanshan-Liaoning area are mainly found from the strata of 165-136 Ma,which corresponds to the main stage of the Yanshanian Movement. | JIANG Zikun LIU Benper HUANG Min DENG Shenghui LU Yuanzheng LIU Lu LI Mingming DONG Shuxin WANG Yongdong | 2014 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,5: | 1 |
| 3 | Decomposition of(c+a) Dislocations in Magnesium Alloys显示文摘In this paper,molecular dynamics simulations are performed to investigate the decomposition of(c+a)dislocations on both pyramidal-Ⅰ and pyramidal-Ⅱ planes.The pyramidal-Ⅰ dislocations are decomposed into(c)and(a)dislocations under shear stress at 0-400 K,which all reside on the basal plane.At 500-700 K,the dislocations are transited onto the basal plane at zero stress,then decomposed into(c)and(a)dislocations under shear loading.In particular,at 700 K,the dislocation is possibly decomposed spontaneously at zero stress.For the pyramidal-Ⅱ dislocations,the core is glissile below 400 K.At 500 K,the dislocation is transited onto the basal plane under shear loading.At 600-700 K,basal(c+a)dislocation is formed at zero stress,but then decomposed under shear loading.The dislocation core energy is calculated to explain the observations.It is found that the energy of decomposed(c+a)dislocation is high,the energy of pyramidal(c+a)dislocation is intermediate,and the energy of basal(c+a)dislocation is low.Our results provide new insights into the behaviors of pyramidal dislocations and temperature effects. | Zikun Li Jing Tang Xiaobao Tian Qingyuan Wang Wentao Jiang Haidong Fan | 2022 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2022,35,3: | 0 |
| 4 | Binary-ternary transition metal chalcogenides interlayer coupling in van der Waals type-II heterostructure for visible-infrared photodetector with efficient suppression dark currents显示文摘Ternary two-dimentional(2D)materials exhibit diverse physical properties depending on their composition,structure,and thickness.Through forming heterostructures with other binary materials that show similar structure,there can be numerous potential applications of these ternary 2D materials.In this work,we reported the structure of few-layer CrPS_(4)by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscope,and electron-density distribution calculation.We also demonstrated a new application of the CrPS_(4)/MoS_(2)heterobilayer:visible-infrared photodetectors with type-II staggered band alignment at room temperature.The response of the heterostructure to infrared light results from a strong interlayer coupling that reduces the energy interval in the junction area.Since the intrinsic bandgap of individual components determines wavelengths,the decrease in energy interval allows better detection of light that has a longer wavelength.We used photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy,Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM)under illumination,and electrical transport measurements to verify the photoinduced charge separation between the CrPS_(4)/MoS_(2)heterostructures.At forward bias,the device functioned as a highly sensitive photodetector,as the wavelength-dependent photocurrent measurement achieved the observation of optical excitation from 532 to 1,450 nm wavelength.Moreover,the photocurrent caused by interlayer exciton reached around 1.2 nA at 1,095 nm wavelength.Our demonstration of the strong interlayer coupling in the CrPS_(4)/MoS_(2)heterostructure may further the understanding of the essential physics behind binary-ternary transition metal chalcogenides heterostructure and pave a way for their potential applications in visible-infrared devices. | Guoliang Xu Danmin Liu Songyu Li Yi Wu Zhenlu Zhang Shaobo Wang Zikun Huang Yongzhe Zhang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 0 |

| 6 | Comparative transcriptome analysis between rhesus macaques(Macaca mulatta) and crab-eating macaques(M. fascicularis)显示文摘Understanding gene expression variations between species is pivotal for deciphering the evolutionary diversity in phenotypes. Rhesus macaques(Macaca mulatta, MMU)and crab-eating macaques(M. fascicularis, MFA) serve as crucial nonhuman primate biomedical models with different phenotypes. To date, however, large-scale comparative transcriptome research between these two species has not yet been fully explored. Here, we conducted systematic comparisons utilizing newly sequenced RNA-seq data from84 samples(41 MFA samples and 43 MMU samples)encompassing 14 common tissues. Our findings revealed a small fraction of genes(3.7%) with differential expression between the two species, as well as 36.5% of genes with tissue-specific expression in both macaques. Comparison of gene expression between macaques and humans indicated that 22.6% of orthologous genes displayed differential expression in at least two tissues. Moreover,19.41% of genes that overlapped with macaque-specific structural variants showed differential expression between humans and macaques. Of these, the FAM220A gene exhibited elevated expression in humans compared to macaques due to lineage-specific duplication. In summary,this study presents a large-scale transcriptomic comparison between MMU and MFA and between macaques and humans. | 10 | Effects of Grafting on Root Exudates of Cucumber and Rhizosphere Environment under Copper Stress显示文摘Abstract[Objective]This study to aimed to investigate the effects of Cu stress on root exudates and microbial activities in rhizosphere of grafted and ungrafted cucumber seedlings,and therefore to elucidate the microbial mechanism of grafting for increasing cucumber plants tolerance to Cu stress[Method]Four treatments:(1)ungrafted seedlings+test soil(U0);(2)ungrafted seedlings+test soil+CuSO4·5H2O(U1);(3)grafted seedlings+test soil(G0);(4)grafted seedlings+test soil+CuSO4·5H2O(G1)were set in the pot culture experiment.The contents of free amino acids,organic acids,phenolic acid and sugars,microbial population and enzyme activity in the four treatment were measured,respectively.[Result]The secretion of amino acids and organic acids were increased under Cu stress.The amino acids secretions of grafted seedlings roots were obviously higher than ungrafted seedlings except for Phe and Val.At the same time,the secretion of oxalic acid,malic acid,acetic acid,citric acid,cinnamic acid,ρ-hydroxybenzoic acid and benzoic acid of grafted seedlings were significantly higher than ungrafted seedlings as well.Therefore,more Cu2+were restricted in soil by chelating,complexing and precipitation with root exudates,and its toxicity was decreased.The soil microbial biomass C and N in grafted cucumber rhizosphere were significantly higher than those in ungrafted cucumber rhizosphere,whereas basal respiration and metabolic quotient were significantly lower.Under Cu stress,the numbers of actinomyces and nitrogen fixing bacteria decreased and the number of fungi increased significantly,whereas there was no significant difference in amounts of bacteria.The numbers of bacteria,actinomyces,and nitrogen fixing bacteria in grafted cucumber rhizosphere were significantly higher than those in ungrafted cucumber rhizosphere,but the number of fungi was opposite.The activities of soil urease,phosphatase,sucrase and catalase in grafted cucumber rhizosphere were significantly higher than those in ungrafted cucumber rhizosphere.[Conclusion]These indicated that the soil microbial environment and soil enzymes activities were improved by grafting under Cu stress,and as a result,the adaptability of cucumber to Cu stress was improved. | Hua LI Hongjun HE Tengfei LI Xin LI Zikun ZHANG | 2013 | Agricultural Science & Technology2013,14,11: | 0 |
