1Intent Pattern Recognition of Lower-limb Motion Based on Mechanical Sensors显示文摘Based on the regularity nature of lower-limb motion,an intent pattern recognition approach for above-knee prosthesis is proposed in this paper. To remedy the defects of recognizer based on electromyogram(EMG), we develop a pure mechanical sensor architecture for intent pattern recognition of lower-limb motion. The sensor system is composed of an accelerometer, a gyroscope mounted on the prosthetic socket, and two pressure sensors mounted under the sole. To compensate the delay in the control of prosthesis, the signals in the stance phase are used to predict the terrain and speed in the swing phase. Specifically, the intent pattern recognizer utilizes intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC) according to the Cartesian product of walking speed and terrain. Moreover, the sensor data are fused via DempsterShafer's theory. And hidden Markov model(HMM) is used to recognize the realtime motion state with the reference of the prior step. The proposed method can infer the prosthesis user's intent of walking on different terrain, which includes level ground,stair ascent, stair descent, up and down ramp. The experiments demonstrate that the intent pattern recognizer is capable of identifying five typical terrain-modes with the rate of 95.8%. 2Therapeutic effect of nerve growth factor on cerebral infarction in dogs using the hemisphere anomalous volume ratio of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘A model of focal cerebral ischemic infarction was established in dogs through middle cerebral artery occlusion of the right side.Thirty minutes after occlusion,models were injected with nerve growth factor adjacent to the infarct locus.The therapeutic effect of nerve growth factor against cerebral infarction was assessed using the hemisphere anomalous volume ratio,a quantitative index of diffusion-weighted MRI.At 6 hours,24 hours,7 days and 3 months after modeling,the hemisphere anomalous volume ratio was significantly reduced after treatment with nerve growth factor. Hematoxylin-eosin staining,immunohistochemistry,electron microscopy and neurological function scores showed that infarct defects were slightly reduced and neurological function significantly improved after nerve growth factor treatment.This result was consistent with diffusion-weighted MRI measurements.Experimental findings indicate that nerve growth factor can protect against cerebral infarction,and that the hemisphere anomalous volume ratio of diffusion-weighted MRI can be used to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Yong Wang Hui Zhang Zhe Wang Zuojun Geng Huaijun Liu Haiqing Yang Peng Song Qing Liu 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,24:9
3Tip-leakage flow loss reduction in a two-stage turbine using axisymmetric-casing contouring显示文摘In order to reduce the losses caused by tip-leakage flow, axisymmetric contouring is applied to the casing of a two-stage unshrouded high pressure turbine(HPT) of aero-engine in this paper. This investigation focuses on the effects of contoured axisymmetric-casing on the blade tipleakage flow. While the size of tip clearance remains the same as the original design, the rotor casing and the blade tip are obtained with the same contoured arc shape. Numerical calculation results show that a promotion of 0.14% to the overall efficiency is achieved. Detailed analysis indicates that it reduces the entropy generation rate caused by the complex vortex structure in the rotor tip region, especially in the tip-leakage vortex. The low velocity region in the leading edge(LE) part of the tip gap is enlarged and the pressure side/tip junction separation bubble extends much further away from the leading edge in the clearance. 4Non-Destructive Crack Detection of Preserved Eggs Using a Machine Vision and Multivariate Analysis显示文摘Pidan or century egg, also known as preserved egg, is one of the most traditional and popular egg products in China. The crack detection of preserved eggshell is very important to guarantee its quality. In this study, we develop an image algorithm for preserved eggshell's crack detection by using natural light and polarized image. Four features including crack length, crack state coefficient, maximum projection and angular point are extracted from the natural light image by morphology calculus algorithms. The support vector machines(SVM) model with radial basis kernel function is established using the four features with an accuracy of about 92%. The detection accuracy is improved to 94% by using a new characteristic parameter of crack length on polarization image. 5Pt-Re/rGO bimetallic catalyst for highly selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde to cinnamylalcohol显示文摘In the present work, a series of Pt-based catalysts, alloyed with a second metal, i.e., Re, Sn, Er, La, and Y, and supported on activated carbon, ordered mesoporous carbon, N-doped mesoporous carbon or reduced graphene oxide(rGO), have been developed for selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde to cinnamylalcohol. Re and rGO were proved to be the most favorable metal dopant and catalyst support, respectively. 6Cu2SnSe3/CNTs Composite as a Promising Anode Material for Sodium-ion Batteries显示文摘Metal selenides as anode materials for sodium-ion batteries have attracted considerable attention owing to their high theoretical specific capacities and variable composition and structures.However,the achievement of long cycle life and superior rate performance is challenging for these selenide materials due to the volume variation upon cycling.Herein,a composite composed of a new binary-metal selenide[Cu2SnSe3(CSS)]and carbon nanotubes(CNTs)was constructed via a hydrothermal process followed by calcination at 600℃.Benefited from the unique structure of binary-metal selenide and the conductive network of CNTs,the Cu2SnSe3/carbon nanotubes(CSS/CNT)composite exhibits excellent electrochemical performance when used as an anode material for sodium-ion batteries.A reversible specific capacity of 399 mA·h/g can be maintained at a current density of 100 mA/g even after 100 cycles.This work provides a promising strategy for rational design of binary-metal selenides upon delicate crystal phase control as electrode materials.ANG Zuojun WU Xueyan MA Chao HOU Chengcheng XU Shumao WEI Xiao WANG Kaixue CHEN Jiesheng 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,1:2
7Scanning pattern of diffusion tensor tractography and an analysis of the morphology and function of spinal nerve roots显示文摘Radiculopathy,commonly induced by intervertebral disk bulging or protrusion,is presently diagnosed in accordance with clinical symptoms because there is no objective quantitative diagnostic criterion.Diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor tractography revealed the characterization of anisotropic diffusion and displayed the anatomic form of nerve root fibers This study included 18 cases with intervertebral disc degeneration-induced unilateral radiculopathy Magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging was creatively used to reveal the scanning pattern o fiber tracking of the spinal nerve root.A scoring system of nerve root morphology was used to quantitatively assess nerve root morphology and functional alteration after intervertebral disc degeneration.Results showed that after fiber tracking,compared with unaffected nerve root,fiber bundles gathered together and interrupted at the affected side.No significant alteration was detected in the number of fiber bundles,but the cross-sectional area of nerve root fibers was reduced These results suggest that diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging-based tractography can be used to quantitatively evaluate nerve root function according to the area and morphology of fiber bundles of nerve roots.Xin Tian Huaijun Liu Zuojun Geng Hua Yang Guoshi Wang Jiping Yang Chunxia Wang Cuining Li Ying Li 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,33:2
