1Effect of Bacterial-Feeding Nematode Inoculation on Wheat Growth and N and P Uptake显示文摘A 40-day gnotobiotic microcosm experiment was carried out to quantify the effect of hastenal-feeding nematode on plant growth and nutrient absorption. The results showed that inoculation of bacterial-feeding nematode Protorhabditis sp. stimulated the growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum) and the uptake of N. By the end of the 40-day incubation wheat biomass and N uptake in the treatment with nematode and bacteria (Pseudomonas sp.) increased by 6.5% and 5.9%, respectively, compared with bacteria alone treatment. The presence of nematode mainly accelerated the growth of aboveground of wheat, while it slightly inhibited the root development. There was little difference in plant tissue N concentration between treatments. P concentration and uptake of wheat, however, were generally reduced by nematode. It appears that the enhancement of plant growth and nitrogen uptake is attributed to the enhancement of nitrogen mineralization induced by nematode feeding on bacteria, and the reduction of phosphorous uptake is the result of weak root status and competition by bacteria immobilization.LIHULXIN HUFENG 2001Pedosphere2001,11,1:9
2Organic Matter Decomposition in Red Soil as Affected by Earthworms显示文摘The earthworms Pheretima carnosa,Drawida gisti and Eisenia foetida were studied to compare their contributions to the decomposition of various organic materials surface-applied on red soil in a 165-day greenhouse experiment.The native species Pheretima carnosa and Drawida gisti were equally effective in accelerating the decomposition of maize residue,according to fresh body weight,while commercial species Eisenia foetida had no significant influence on dry mass loss of maize residue,Liming with CaCO3 or CaO showed little effect on maize residue breakdown involved by Pheretima carnosa,but it inhibited this process involved by drawida gisti,The capability of Pheretima carnosa to the decompostition of five kinds of organic materials was thoroughly examined.The dry mass losses in worm treatments were in the order of soybean residue>maize residue>pig manure>semi-decayed maize>ryegrass.however,the relative contributions of the earthworm to dry mass loss were in the order of pig manure(89.8%)>semi-decayed maize residue (49.1%)>maize residue(29.4%)>soybean residue(20.9%)>ryegrass residue(16.5%),Pheretima carnosa consumed 20-120mg dry weight of organic material per gram fresh weight of biomass per day.HUFENG HEYUANQIU 2000Pedosphere2000,10,2:8
3Simulation and Experiment on Workability for Cold Pressure Forming of Sheet Metal Part with Step Cross-section显示文摘In modern manufacturing,a new type of sheet metal part with step cross-section in both inner hole and outer edge is proposed.The traditional stamping separating processes can only produce sheet metal part with vertical cross-section.According to the latest developing theory and potential of cold pressure forming:combination of pressure and cold forging,a new flow control forming of sheet metal(FCF) is excogitated based on blanking process of general stamping and combined with cold forging processes such as extrusion and coining,etc,which is aiming at the above-mentioned new type of sheet metal part.With utilization of this new process,the new type of sheet metal parts can be manufactured.In order to shorten the testing period,the numerical simulation was carried out by using DEFORM-3D software,and both deformation and mechanics rules were analyzed.Based on the simulation,both punching part and blanked parts of this new type were successfully developed.Then a new conception of optimal distance between the step walls of inner hole and outside edge was proposed and the design principle for its numerical value was inferred.Furthermore,a mold set for combination of stamping & cold forging was designed and manufactured,by which the technologic experiments were taken for validation with Aluminum plate of thickness 2.35 mm for power battery cover board,which verified the principle of the distance between the step walls.The research of cold pressure forming of thin sheet metal with step cross-section is significant,not only to the development of modern mechanical manufacture,but also to metal plastic forming science.LU Xianfeng LI Hufeng ZHANG Yuerong ZHOU Yong 2010Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,2:3
