1Convolutional neural networks for time series classification显示文摘Time series classification is an important task in time series data mining, and has attracted great interests and tremendous efforts during last decades. However, it remains a challenging problem due to the nature of time series data: high dimensionality,large in data size and updating continuously. The deep learning techniques are explored to improve the performance of traditional feature-based approaches. Specifically, a novel convolutional neural network(CNN) framework is proposed for time series classification. Different from other feature-based classification approaches,CNN can discover and extract the suitable internal structure to generate deep features of the input time series automatically by using convolution and pooling operations. Two groups of experiments are conducted on simulated data sets and eight groups of experiments are conducted on real-world data sets from different application domains. 3On the Weakened Relationship between Spring Arctic Oscillation and Following Summer Tropical Cyclone Frequency over the Western North Pacific:A Comparison between 1968–1986 and 1989–2007显示文摘This study documents a weakening of the relationship between the spring Arctic Oscillation(AO) and the following summer tropical cyclone(TC) formation frequency over the eastern part(150?–180?E) of the western North Pacific(WNP). The relationship is strong and statistically significant during 1968–1986,but becomes weak during 1989–2007. The spring AOrelated SST,atmospheric dynamic,and thermodynamic conditions are compared between the two epochs to understand the possible reasons for the change in the relationship. Results indicate that the spring AO leads to an El Ni ?no-like SST anomaly,lower-level anomalous cyclonic circulation,upper-level anomalous anticyclonic circulation,enhanced ascending motion,and a positive midlevel relative humidity anomaly in the tropical western–central Pacific during 1968–1986,whereas the AOrelated anomalies in the above quantities are weak during 1989–2007. 4Intensified Impact of Northern Tropical Atlantic SST on Tropical Cyclogenesis Frequency over the Western North Pacific after the Late 1980s显示文摘Previous studies suggest that spring SST anomalies over the northern tropical Atlantic(NTA) affect the tropical cyclone(TC) activity over the western North Pacific(WNP) in the following summer and fall. The present study reveals that the connection between spring NTA SST and following summer–fall WNP TC genesis frequency is not stationary. The influence of spring NTA SST on following summer–fall WNP TC genesis frequency is weak and insignificant before, but strong and significant after, the late 1980 s. Before the late 1980 s, the NTA SST anomaly-induced SST anomalies in the tropical central Pacific are weak, and the response of atmospheric circulation over the WNP is not strong. As a result, the connection between spring NTA SST and following summer–fall WNP TC genesis frequency is insignificant in the former period. In contrast,after the late 1980 s, NTA SST anomalies induce pronounced tropical central Pacific SST anomalies through an Atlantic–Pacific teleconnection. Tropical central Pacific SST anomalies further induce favorable conditions for WNP TC genesis,including vertical motion, mid-level relative humidity, and vertical zonal wind shear. Hence, the connection between NTA SST and WNP TC genesis frequency is significant in the recent period. 5Robust model predictive control for greenhouse temperature based on particle swarm optimization显示文摘Application of model predictive control(MPC)in horticultural practice requires detailed models.However,even highly sophisticated greenhouse climate models are often known to have unknown dynamics affected by bounded uncertainties.To enforce robustness during the controller design stage,this paper proposes a particle swarm optimization(PSO)-based robust MPC strategy for greenhouse temperature systems.The strategy is based on a nonlinear physical temperature affine model.The robust MPC technique requires online solution of a minimax optimal control problem,which optimizes the tradeoff between set point tracking and cost requirements reduction.The minimax optimization problem is reformulated to a nonlinear programming problem with constraints.PSO is used to solve the reformulated problem and priority ranking of constraint fitness is proposed to guarantee that the constraints are satisfied.The results of simulations performed using the proposed control system show that the controller can effectively achieve the set point in the presence of disturbances and that it offers more suitable control variables,higher control precision,and stronger robustness than the conventional MPC.Lijun Chen Shangfeng Du Yaofeng He Meihui Liang Dan Xu 2018Information Processing in Agriculture2018,5,3:4
6Chemical functionalization of 2D black phosphorus显示文摘As an emerging two-dimensional material,black phosphorus(BP)has fascinating structure and electronic properties,affording broad applications in fieldeffect transistors,optoelectronic devices,energy devices,and biomedicines.However,the lone pair electrons of phosphorus atoms readily react with oxygen,so few-layer BP is easily oxidized and degraded when exposed to air.Therefore,the ambient stability of BP needs to be enhanced for its potential application.Chemical functionalization is one of the most effective methods for improving the ambient stability of few-layer BP.In this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of the chemical functionalization of BP,focusing on covalent and noncovalent functionalization and surface coordination.The influence of the functionalization pattern on the electronic properties and ambient stability of BP is summarized.Finally,the challenges and future development of chemical functionalization of BP are discussed.Yajuan Liu Muqing Chen Shangfeng Yang 2021InfoMat2021,3,3:2
7Recent Strengthening of the Regional Hadley Circulation over the Western Pacific during Boreal Spring显示文摘Previous studies suggested that there are large discrepancies in the intensity trend of the zonally averaged Hadley circulation (ZAHC) among different reanalyses. As the land, ocean, and topography are not evenly distributed, the ZAHC may mask the regional variability. Changes in the regional HC have important implications for regional climate change. Here, we detect the long-term trend of the boreal spring regional Hadley circulation intensity over the western Pacific (WPHC) since 1979 in both hemispheres using six reanalysis datasets. Unlike the ZAHC, we find that the trend of the spring WPHC intensity is consistent among various reanalysis datasets. All reanalyses show pronounced strengthening trends for the WPHC in both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, which may be partly attributable to the robust warming trends of sea surface temperature in the tropical western Pacific. 9The Weakening Relationship between ENSO and the South China Sea Summer Monsoon Onset in Recent Decades显示文摘The El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation(ENSO) is traditionally regarded as the most important factor modulating the interannual variation of the South China Sea summer monsoon(SCSSM) onset. A preceding El Ni?o(La Ni?a) usually tends to be followed by a delayed(an advanced) monsoon onset. However, the close relationship between ENSO and SCSSM onset breaks down after the early-2000 s, making seasonal prediction very difficult in recent years. Three possible perspectives have been proposed to explain the weakening linkage between ENSO and SCSSM onset, including interdecadal change of the ENSO teleconnection(i.e., the Walker circulation), interferences of other interannual variability(i.e., the Victoria mode), and disturbances on intraseasonal time scales(i.e., the quasi-biweekly oscillation). By comparing the epochs of 1979–2001 and 2002–19, it is found that the anomalous tropical Walker circulation generated by ENSO is much weaker in the latter epoch and thus cannot deliver the ENSO signal to the SCSSM onset. Besides, in recent years, the SCSSM onset is more closely linked to extratropical factors like the Victoria mode, and thus its linkage with ENSO becomes weaker. In addition to these interannual variabilities, the intraseasonal oscillations like the quasi-biweekly oscillation can disrupt the slow-varying seasonal march modulated by ENSO. Thus, the amplified quasi-biweekly oscillation may also contribute to the weakening relationship after the early-2000 s. 10Impact of the Winter North Pacific Oscillation on the Surface Air Temperature over Eurasia and North America: Sensitivity to the Index Definition显示文摘This study analyzes the impact of the winter North Pacific Oscillation(NPO) on the surface air temperature(SAT)variations over Eurasia and North America based on six different NPO indices. Results show that the influences of the winter NPO on the SAT over Eurasia and North America are sensitive to the definition of the NPO index. The impact of the winter NPO on the SAT variations over Eurasia(North America) is significant(insignificant) when the anticyclonic anomaly associated with the NPO index over the North Pacific midlatitudes shifts westward and pronounced northerly wind anomalies appear around Lake Baikal. By contrast, the impact of the winter NPO on the SAT variations over Eurasia(North America)is insignificant(significant) when the anticyclonic anomaly over the North Pacific related to the NPO index shifts eastward and the associated northerly wind anomalies to its eastern flank extend to North America. 14Micro-motion dynamics analysis of ballistic targets based on infrared detection显示文摘The dynamic characteristics related to micro-motions,such as mechanical vibration or rotation, play an essential role in classifying and recognizing ballistic targets in the midcourse, and recent researches explore ways of extracting the micro-motion features from radar signals of ballistic targets. In this paper, we focus on how to investigate the micro-motion dynamic characteristics of the ballistic targets from the signals based on infrared(IR) detection, which is mainly achieved by analyzing the periodic fluctuation characteristics of the target IR irradiance intensity signatures.Simulation experiments demonstrate that the periodic characteristics of IR signatures can be used to distinguish different micromotion types and estimate related parameters. 16ZNF3 regulates proliferation,migration and invasion through MMP1 and TWIST in colorectal cancer显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a malignant tumor with a high incidence and mortality worldwide.Currently,the underlying molecular mechanisms of CRC are still unclear.Zinc finger protein 3(ZNF3)is a zinc-finger transcription factor that has been reported as a candidate for breast cancer prognosis,suggesting its involvement in the regulation of tumorigenesis.However,the association between ZNF3 and CRC remains unknown.To investigate the role of ZNF3 in CRC,we first analyze the correlation between ZNF3 expression and CRC,and the results demonstrate that ZNF3 is highly expressed in CRC tissue and cells,which is associated with the age of CRC patients.In vitro studies show that ZNF3 overexpression promotes CRC cell migration.Compared to control cells,knockdown of ZNF3 markedly suppresses CRC cell proliferation,migration and invasion and promotes G0/G1 phase cell cycle arrest.The expressions of the EMT-related markers TWIST and MMP1 are significantly decreased when ZNF3 is silenced.Additionally,overexpression of MMP1 and TWIST exacerbates CRC cell proliferation,accelerates the S phase cell cycle in ZNF3-knockdown SW480 cells,and increases cell migration and invasion through Transwell chambers.These data suggest that ZNF3 is involved in cellular proliferation,migration and invasion by regulating MMP1 and TWIST in CRC cells.Le Du Ning Liu Jianfeng Jin Meng Cao Yuantian Sun Xinzheng Gao Banzhan Ruan Shangfeng Yang Dongsheng Ge Yingzhuan Ye Yinxi Zhou Erfei Chen Jin Yang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,12:1
17Developmental expression of CAPON and Dexras1 in spinal cord of rats显示文摘To study the expression of the carboxy-ter-minal PSD-95/DLG/ZO-1 ligand of nNOS(CAPON)and Dexras1 mRNA during development in the spinal cord of rats,real-time polymerase chain reaction(Real-time PCR),as a quantitative method,was used to study the developmental expression of CAPON and Dexras1 mRNA level in the spinal cord.The spatial expression of CAPON and Dexras1 mRNA was examined by a com-bination of in situ hybridization(ISH)and immunofluor-escence.During the development of the spinal cord,CAPON mRNA was expressed in low levels from embryo day 14 to day 18.At postnatal day 1,it reached the peak and was expressed in the part which will become the dor-sal horn when mature.It then decreased gradually until postnatal week 12,when it presented in the ventral horn.At embryo day 14,Dexras1 mRNA was expressed at low levels,increased during embryo day 16 to day 18 and peaked at postnatal day 1.Spatiotemporal expression of Dexras1 mRNA was similar to CAPON as confirmed by correlation analysis and colocalization.CAPON and neuronal nitric oxide synthase(nNOS)was expressed within the same cells of the dorsal horn at postnatal day 1 but had different subcellular localizations.Co-express-ion of CAPON and Dexras1 mRNA in myeloid tissue during development process of rat indicates that the adaptor protein,CAPON may play a probable role in differentiation of neurons,synaptic plasticity and synap-togenesis by regulating nNOS to activate Dexras1.Xin LI Chun CHENG Jian ZHAO Mengling CHEN Shuqiong NIU Shangfeng GAO Aiguo SHEN 2008Frontiers of Medicine2008,2,1:0
18Recent Advances in Functionalized Fullerenes in Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘Comprehensive Summary,Efficient charge transport and defect passivation are essential for high efficiency of organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Functionalized fullerenes featuring high electron affinity and mobility as well as small reorganization energy have been extensively applied in PSCs toward facilitated electron transport and passivated trap states,leading to improvements of both device efficiency and stability.Herein,we summarize the recent advances,especially in the last three years,in applications of functionalized fullerenes including fullerene derivatives and endohedral metallofullerenes in PSCs.Their functions in trap state passivation,electron transport promotion,crystalline modulation,water/oxygen erosion inhibition,and so on,are discussed in details.In particular,we emphasize novel functions of fullerenes beyond trap state passivation,as well as the synergy of multifunction of fullerenes in improving PSC device performance and stability.Finally,we present an outlook on designing novel multifunctionalized fullerenes toward highly efficient and stable PSC devices.Min Ai Muqing Chen Shangfeng Yang 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,18:0

20低分化型粘膜内早期胃癌淋巴结转移的危险因素和腹腔镜手术探讨(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to identify clinicopathological factors predictive of lymph node metastasis (LNM) in intramucosal poorly differentiated early gastric cancer (EGC), and further to expand the possibility of using laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of intramucosal poorly differentiated EGC. Methods:Data from 65 patients with intramucosal poorly differentiated EGC and surgically treated were collected, and the association between the clinicopathological factors and the presence of LNM was retrospectively analyzed by univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses. Results:Univariate analysis showed that number of tumors, tumor size and lymphatic vessel involvement (LVI) were the significant and independent risk factors for LNM (all P < 0.05). The LNM rates were 5.0%, 18.2% and 66.7%, respectively. There was no LNM in 31 patients without the three risk clinicopathological factors. Conclusion:The number of tumors, tumor size, and LVI are independently associated with the presence of LNM in intramucosal poorly differentiated EGC.
