Effect of N and P addition on soil organic C potential mineralization in forest soils in South China显示文摘Atmospheric nitrogen deposition is at a high level in some forests of South China. The effects of addition of exogenous N and P on soil organic carbon mineralization were studied to address: (1) if the atmospheric N deposition promotes soil C storage through decreasing mineralization; (2) if the soil available P is a limitation to organic carbon mineralization. Soils (0-10 cm) was sampled from monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest (MEBF), coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest (CBMF), and Pinus massoniana forest (PMF) in Dinghushan Biosphere Reserve (located in Guangdong Province, China). The soils were incubated at 25°C for 45 weeks, with addition of N (NH4NO3 solution) or P (KH2PO4 solution). CO2-C emission and the inorganic N (NH4+-N and NO3?-N) of the soils were determined during the incubation. The results showed that CO2-C emission decreased with the N addition. The addition of P led to a short-term sharp increase in CO2 emission after P application, and the responses of CO2-C evolution to P addition in the later period of incubation related to forest types. Strong P inhibition to CO2 emission occurred in both PMF and CBMF soils in the later incubation. The two-pool kinetic model was fitted well to the data for C turnover in this experiment. The model analysis demonstrated that the addition of N and P changed the distribution of soil organic C between the labile and recalcitrant pool, as well as their mineralization rates. In our experiment, soil pH can not completely explain the negative effect of N addition on CO2-C emission. The changes of soil inorganic N during incubation seemed to support the hypothesis that the polymerization of added nitrogen with soil organic compound by abiotic reactions during incubation made the added nitrogen retard the soil organic carbon mineralization. We conclude that atmospheric N deposition contributes to soil C accretion in the three subtropical forest ecosystems, however, the shortage of soil available P in CBMF and PMF may also retard soil organic C mineralization.OUYANG, Xuejun ZHOU, Guoyi HUANG, Zhongliang ZHOU, Cunyu LI, Jiong SHI, Junhui ZHANG, Deqiang 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,9:17

Reply to the Comment on 'Improvement of Controlled Bidirectional Quantum Direct Communication Using a GHZ State' [Chin. Phys. Lett. 30 (2013) 040305]显示文摘Most recently,Liu and Chen[Chin.Phys.Lett.30(2013)079901]used the tool of information theory to analyze the security of our two improved versions of the MX protocol[Chin.Phys.Lett.30(2013)040305],and they found out that our two improved versions still have the information leakage problem. After revisiting them with the tool of information theory again, with respect to the security,we draw the same conclusion as Liu and Chen.In addition,we point out that how to use a single quantum state as the sole quantum resource to design a bidirectional quantum secure direct communication protocol without information leakage is still a big challenge that needs to be solved.叶天语 蒋丽珍 2013Chinese Physics Letters2013,30,7:13
DEVELOPMENT OF COMMON WHEAT GERM-PLASM RESISTANT TO BARLEY YELLOW DWARF VIRUS BY BIOTECHNOLOGY显示文摘Barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) is one of the most serious wheat diseases in China. So far no resistance has been described in common wheat. A certain level of BYDV resistance was found in thirteen Triticeae species. Thinopyrum intermedium, two octoploids derived from TH. intermedium/wheat, Zhong 4 awnless and TAF46, and one disomic addition line, L1 derived from TAF46, showed good resistance to BYDV by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Two wheat/TA. intermedium translocation lines, CPI 119880 and CPI 119899, showing good BYDV resistance were developed from L1 by using both CSph mutant and tissue culture. It is found that their BYDV resistance was controlled by a single dominant gene. Two cDNA probes pEleAcc3 and pPJN8 (E1-T1) were screened for detecting Th. intermedium DNA in wheat background. A specific band for the DNA of Th. intermedium and its derivatives was found in Southern hybridization. It is also possible to determine the size of the alien segment by comparing the relative density辛志勇 徐惠君 陈孝 林志珊 周广和 钱幼亭 成卓敏 P. J. LARKIN P. BANKS R. APPELS B. GLARKE AND R. I. S. 5Microstructure and mechanical properties of A356 alloy with yttrium addition processed by hot extrusion显示文摘The effects of the rare earth element yttrium(Y) and hot extrusion on the microstructure and mechanical properties of A356 alloy were investigated by mechanical properties testing and microstructure observation. The results indicate that the addition of Y improves the microstructure of the as-cast alloy. The distribution of primary α-Al is uniform and orderly. The long needle-like eutectic Si phases and β-Fe phases turn to strips and short rods. When the content of Y increases to 0.2 wt%, the mean diameter of aAl(40.3 μm) and the aspect ratio of the eutectic Si phase(2.3) reach the minimum values, which are68.9% and 86.1% lower, respectively, than that of the alloy without Y addition. Under extrusion stress, the shape of the eutectic Si phase is changed from long rod-like to near grain-like after solution treatment. The size of the eutectic Si phase is significantly reduced. The needle-like β-Fe phases are squeezed and broken. The mechanical properties of the as-extruded alloy are significantly improved compared to the as-cast alloy. When the rare earth content is 0.2 wt%, the ultimate tensile strength, hardness and elongation of the alloy reach the maximum values, which are 328.2 MPa, 110.4 HV and 21.3%, respectively, and increase by 42.01%, 37.71% and 481.91%, respectively, in comparison to the as-cast alloy without Y addition.Zhifan Wei Yushun Lei Hong Yan Xihao Xu Jiajia He 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,6:11
Effect of erbium on properties and microstructure of Al-Si eutectic alloy显示文摘Eutectic Al-12.6 wt.%Si alloys with various contents of the rare earth element Er were prepared by the conventional casting technique. The effect of Er on the microstructure and properties of the eutectic Al-Si alloys was investigated using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy as well as the friction and wear tests. It was found that the addition of Er obviously improved the anti-wear properties, and reduced the friction coefficient of the alloys. The appropriate addition of Er would change the size and shape of the eutectic silicon, and thereby refine the microstructure of the Al-Si alloys. The refinement mechanism was also discussed.邢鹏飞 高波 庄艳歆 刘凯华 涂赣峰 2010Journal of Rare Earths2010,28,6:10
Effect of Sc addition on microstructure and mechanical properties of 1460 alloy显示文摘The effect of minor addition of Sc on microstructure, age hardening behavior, tensile properties and fracture morphology of 1460 alloy have been studied. It is found that Sc content increase from 0.11 wt% to 0.22 wt% is favorable for grain refinement in as-cast alloy but results in a coarsening of Cu-rich particles. The alloy with 0.11 wt% Sc exhibits enhanced mechanical properties and age hardening effect. Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) investigations on the alloy with 0.11 wt% Sc have suggested that a large amount of Al3(Sc,Zr) particles precipitated at the earlier aging may inhibit recrystallization effectively.Juan Ma Desheng Yan Lijian Rong Yiyi Li 2014Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2014,24,1:10
Effects of small additions of Zn on the microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of WE43B Mg alloys显示文摘Zn is a commonly used alloying element for Mg alloys owing to its beneficial effects on mechanical properties. To improve the mechanical and corrosion properties of WE43B Mg alloys, the effects of 0–0.7wt% Zn addition on the microstructure and properties of sample alloys were investigated. Addition of Zn to as-cast WE43B alloy promoted the formation of the Mg12Nd phase;by contrast, after T6 heat treatment, the phase composition of WE43B alloys with and without Zn addition remained mostly the same. A long-period stacking ordered phase was predicted by CALPHAD calculation, but this phase was not observed in either the as-cast or heat-treated Zn-containing WE43B alloys. The optimum temperature and duration of T6 heat treatment were obtained using CALPHAD calculations and hardness measurements. Addition of Zn resulted in a slight reduction in the average grain size of the as-cast and T6 heat-treated WE43B alloys and endowed them with increased corrosion resistance with little effect on their mechanical properties.A.V. 9Episodic crustal growth in the Tanzania Craton:evidence from Nd isotope compositions显示文摘The analysis of available Nd isotope data from the Tanzania Craton places important constraints on the crest-mantle separation ages, and events marking juvenile crustal addition and crustal recycling.Nd model ages date the oldest crust extraction to 3.16 Ga in the Tanzania Craton, although a rock record of such antiquity is yet to be found there. The most significant period of juvenile crustal addition as well as crustal recycling is 2.7-2.6 Ga.The Nd isotopes of marie samples show that chemical heterogeneity existed in the mantle beneath the Tanzania Craton, with some samples originating from significantly depleted mantle, and most samples originating from the mixture of primitive mantle and depleted mantle. The Nd isotope section reveals significant differences in Nd isotopes between the north eraton and central craton;compared to the north craton, the central craton yields a Nd model age that is approximately 100 Ma older, and its εNd(t)values are more negative, indicating that the two parts of the craton have different mantle source regions.Different types of granitoids are distributed in the Tanzania Craton, such as high-K and low-Al granite,ealc-alkaline granite, peraluminous granite and transitional types of tonalite-trondhjemite- granodiorites (TTGs).Most of the granitoids formed later than the marie rocks in syn-collision and postcollision events.Kai Sun Lin-lin Zhang Zhi-dan Zhao Fu-qing He Sheng-fei He Xing-yuan Wu Lei Qiu Xiao-dong Ren 2018China Geology2018,1,2:8
Breeding and molecular cytogenetic identification of wheat-Thinopyrum intermedium addition lines resistant to powdery mildew显示文摘Wheat-related species Th. intermedium was used to cross with common wheat Yannong 15. In the self progenies of the hybrid, two addition lines, II -1-7-1 and II -3-3-2, stable in cytology, were developed by cytology and powdery mildew resistance identification. Their chromosome number were 2n = 44 and formed 22 bivalents at PMC MI. In F1 of the two addition lines crossing with Yannong 15, there appeared about one univalent at PMC MI, respectively. Resistance identification in greenhouse and field using the No. 15 and mixed strains of E. gramnis f. sp. tritici showed that they were immune to powdery mildew. Chromosome number and resistance identification using the F2 single plants of the addition line crossing with Yannong 15 indicated that the resistant gene was located on the alien chromosomes. In situ hybridization using St and E genomic DNA as probe showed that the added chromosome in the two addition lines probably came from the E genome of Th. intermedium, which indicated that a pair of E genomeShubing Liu Honggang Wang 2002Chinese Science Bulletin2002,47,22:7
Er^(3+)-substituted W-type barium ferrite: preparation and electromagnetic properties显示文摘Er3+-substituted W-type barium ferrites Ba1-xErx(Zn0.3Co0.7)2Fe16O27 (x=0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) were synthesized by polymer adsorbent combustion method. Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and network analyzer to investigate the relationships among Er3+ concentration, crystal structure, surface morphology and electromagnetic properties. All the XRD patterns showed pure phase of W-type barium ferrite when x≤0.15, while the impurity phase of ErFeO3 appeared when x=0.20. The pure W-type barium ferrite showed a hexagonal flake shape. In addition, the microwave electromagnetic properties of samples were analyzed in the frequency range of 2-18 GHz. It was indicated that the electromagnetic properties were significantly improved when Er3+ doping content was 0.10. The reasons were also discussed using electromagnetic theory. The optimized ferrite exhibited excellent microwave absorption performance. The maximum of reflection loss (RL) reached about-27.4 dB and RL was below-10 dB at the frequency range from 8.4 GHz to 18 GHz, when the thickness was 2.6 mm.黄啸谷 张静 王洪洲 闫绍腾 王丽熙 张其土 2010Journal of Rare Earths2010,28,6:7
Modification performance on 4032 Al alloy by using Al–10Sr master alloys manufactured from different processes显示文摘The microstructures and modification performance on 4032 aluminum alloy of the Al–10Sr master alloy wire prepared from 'direct reaction-hot extrusion' and the trapezoidal block from 'direct reaction' were systemically studied by using optical metallurgical microscope, XRD and SEM. It was found that the preparation processes exhibited a significant effect on the microstructures of the Al–10Sr, which thereby influenced its modification performance. It has been found that when the Al–10Sr alloy wire was used, a desirable modification was obtained after 2 min and reached to the best performance at 60 min, and the optimum Sr addition amount was 0.04–0.06 wt%, and the good modification performance was kept even after 300 min. However, when the Al–10Sr alloy trapezoidal block was used, a desirable modification was started after 30 min and reached to the best performance as long as 120 min, and the optimum Sr addition amount was 0.06–0.08 wt%, and the effective modification period was only180 min. Therefore, comparing with the Al–10Sr alloy trapezoidal block, the Al–10Sr alloy wire had better modification efficiency, which not only reduced the Sr addition amount of about 30%, but also greatly decreased the incubation time and improved the ability of anti-fading.Chengwei Liao Jianchun Chen Yunlong Li Huan Chen Chunxu Pan 2014Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2014,24,2:6
Effect of tin addition on corrosion behavior of a low-alloy steel in simulated costal-industrial atmosphere显示文摘The effect of tin addition on the atmospheric corrosion behavior of a low-alloy steel in sim ulated coastalindustrial atm osphere has been investigated by indoor wet/dry cyclic corrosion test (CCT). The results indicate that tin addition can obviously make the steel substrate more resistant to atmospheric corrosion by suppressing the cathodic H^+ reduction reaction, and but tin addition is not of obvious beneficial effect when the steel is covered with a thicker rust layer during long-term corrosion process. The reason lies in the fact that the presence of un-reduced H^+ can lower the electrolyte pH value and lead to a loose and porous rust layer on tin-containing steel sample than that on tin-free steel sample. In addition, the 120 CCT cycles corrosion process of the two steels can be divided into three stages. Both the tin-free and tin-containing steels show an increasing corrosion rate during the initial corrosion stage and then exhibit a decreasing corrosion rate during the second and third corrosion stages. Moreover, tin addition makes the tin-containing steel rust layer have a higher amount of α-FeOOH and lower am ount of γ-FeOOH and Fe3O4 than the tin-free steel rust layer.Bo Liu Xin Mu Ying Yang Long Hao Xueyong Ding Junhua Dong Zhe Zhang Huaxing Hou Wei Ke 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,7:6
Scattering and reflection of SH waves around a slope on an elastic wedged space显示文摘The scattering and reflection of SH waves by a slope on an elastic wedged space is investigated. A series solution is obtained by using the wave function expansion method. The slope on a wedged space is divided into two subregions by an artificial, auxiliary circular arc. The wave fields with unknown complex coefficients within each sub-region are derived. Applying Graf addition theorem, the scattered waves in the sub-regions are expressed in a global coordinate system. Fourier transform is adopted to derive a consistent form of standing waves in the inner region using the orthogonality of the cosine functions. The boundary-valued problem is solved by stress and displacement continuity along the artificial, auxiliary arc to obtain the unknown complex coefficients. Parametric studies are next performed to investigate how the topography from the slope on the wedged space will affect the scattering and diffraction, and hence the amplification and de-amplification of the SH waves. Numerical results show that the surface motions on the slope of the wedged space is influenced greatly by the topography. Amplification of the surface motions near the slope vertex is significant. The corresponding phases along the wedged space surfaces are consistent with the direction that the SH waves are propagating.Liu Qijian Wu Zhiyu Vincent W Lee 2019Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2019,18,2:6
Copper-Catalyzed Carbotrifluoromethylation of Unactivated Alkenes Driven by Trifluoromethylation of Alkyl Radicals显示文摘Summary of main observation and conclusion We report herein an unprecedented protocol for radical carbotrifluoromethylation of unactivated alkenes. With Cu(OTf)2 as the catalyst, the reaction of unactivated alkenes, TMSCF3 and activated alkyl chlorides at room temperature provides the corresponding carbotrifluoromethylation products in satisfactory yields. Directed by trifluoromethylation of alkyl radicals, the method exhibits an excellent regioselectivity that is opposite to those driven by CF3 radical addition.Zhenzhen Zhang Lin Zhu Chaozhong Li 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,5:6
Effect of trace Sc and Zr on aging behavior and tensile properties of 2618 alloy显示文摘The aging behavior of 2618 (Al Cu Mg Fe Ni) alloy added trace Sc and Zr was studied by Vicker’s hardness measurement at 200 and 300 ℃, and the tensile properties(yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and elongation) of alloys were measured at 20, 200, 250 and 300 ℃. The microstructures were observed by using optical microscope, SEM and TEM. It was found that the addition of Sc and Zr to 2618 alloy resulted in a uniform distribution of fine coherent Al 3(Sc,Zr) precipitates which had obvious aging hardening effect and made the S’ phase precipitate more homogeneously. The strength of alloy increased at ambient and elevated temperature without a decrease of ductility because of the precipitation strengthening and thermal stability of Al 3(Sc,Zr) particles. The ductile fracture of alloy occurred by microviod nucleation, growth and coalescence, so the microvoid coalescence was the dominant fracture mechanism. Al 3(Sc,Zr) particles could inhabit the recrystallization process of alloy 2618.Yu Kun(余琨) Li Songrui(李松瑞) Li Wenxian(黎文献) Xiao Yude(肖于德) 1999中国有色金属学会会刊:英文版1999,9,3:5
HBsAg clearance by Peg-interferon addition to a long-term nucleos(t)ide analogues therapy显示文摘The ideal endpoint of hepatitis B virus(HBV)antiviral therapy is HBsAg loss,a difficult goal to obtain, especially in HBeAg negative patients.Herein,we report the results obtained by the addition of peg-interferonα-2a to a long-lasting nucleos(t)ide analogues therapy in a HBeAg negative, genotype D patient with steadily HBV-DNA negative/HBsAg positive values. In 2002,our Caucasian 44-year-old male patient received lamivudine and,4 years later, added adefovir because of a virological breakthrough. In 2011,considering his young age, liver stiffness(4.3 kPa)and HBsAg levels(3533IU/mL),we added Peg-interferonα-2a for six months(3in combination with nucleos(t)ide analogues followed by 3 mo of Peg-interferonα-2a monotherapy).A decrease of HBsAg levels was observed after 1 mo(1.21log)of Peg-interferon and 3 mo(1.88 log)after the discontinuation of all drugs.Later,a complete clearance of HBsAg was obtained with steadily undetectable HBVDNA serum levels(<9 IU/mL).HBsAg clearance by the addition of a short course of Peg-interferonα-2a represents an important result with clinical and pharmacoeconomic implications, considering that nucleos(t)ide analogues therapy in HBeAg negative chronic hepatitis B patients is considered a long-lasting/life-long treatment.Michele Barone Andrea Iannone Alfredo Di Leo 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,26:5
Short-term effects of nitrogen deposition on soil respiration components in two alpine coniferous forests, southeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Nitrogen (N) deposition to alpine forest ecosystems is increasing gradually, yet previous studies have seldom reported the effects of N inputs on soil CO2 flux in these ecosystems. Evaluating the effects of soil respiration on N addition is of great significance for understanding soil carbon (C) budgets along N gradients in forest ecosystems. In this study, four levels of N (0, 50, 100, 150 kg N ha^-1 a^-1) were added to soil in a Picea baifouriana and an Abies georgei natural forest on the Tibetan Plateau to investigate the effect of the N inputs on soil respiration. N addition stimulated total soil respiration (Rt) and its components including heterotrophic respiration (Rh) and autotrophic respiration (Ra);however, the promoted effects declined with an increase in N application in two coniferous forests. Soil respiration rate was a little greater in the spruce forest (1.05 μmol CO2 m^-2 s^-1) than that in the fir forest (0.97 μmol CO2 m^-2 s^-1). A repeated measures ANOVA indicated that N fertilization had significant effects on Rt and its components in the spruce forest and Rt in the fir forest, but had no obvious effect on Rh or Ra in the fir forest. Rt and its components had significant exponential relationships with soil temperature in both forests. N addition also increased temperature sensitivity (Q10) of Rt and its components in the two coniferous forests, but the promotion declined as N in put increased. Important, soil moisture had great effects on Rt and its components in the spruce forest (P<0.05), but no obvious impacts were observed in the fir forest (P>0.05). Following N fertilization, Ra was significantly and positively related to fine root biomass, while Rh was related to soil enzymatic activities in both forests. The mechanisms underlying the effect of simulated N deposition on soil respiration and its components in this study may help in forecasting C cycling in alpine forests under future levels of reactive N deposition.Jian Wang Genxu Wang Yu Fu Xiaopeng Chen Xiaoyan Song 2019Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,3:5
Effect of Cu addition on microstructures and tensile properties of high-pressure die-casting Al-5.5Mg-0.7Mn alloy显示文摘In this study, Cu was added into the high-pressure die-casting Al-5.5 Mg-0.7 Mn(wt%) alloy to improve the tensile properties. The effects of Cu addition on the microstructures, mechanical properties of the Al-5.5 Mg-0.7 Mn alloys under both as-cast and T5 treatment conditions have been investigated. Additions of 0.5 wt%, 0.8 wt% and 1.5 wt% Cu can lead to the formation of irregular-shaped Al2 CuMg particles distributed along the grain boundaries in the as-cast alloys. Furthermore, the rest of Cu can dissolve into the matrixes. The lath-shaped Al2 CuMg precipitates with a size of 15–20 nm × 2–4 nm were generated in the T5-treated Al-5.5 Mg-0.7 Mn-x Cu(x = 0.5, 0.8, 1.5 wt%) alloys. The room temperature tensile and yield strengths of alloys increase with increasing the content of Cu. Increasing Cu content results in more Al2 CuMg phase formation along the grain boundaries, which causes more cracks during tensile deformation and lower ductility. Al-5.5 Mg-0.7 Mn-0.8 Cu alloy exhibits excellent comprehensive tensile properties under both as-cast and T5-treated conditions. The yield strength of 179 MPa, the ultimate tensile strength of 303 MPa and the elongation of 8.7% were achieved in the as-cast Al-5.5 Mg-0.7 Mn-0.8 Cu alloy, while the yield strength significantly was improved to 198 MPa after T5 treatment.Lingyang Yuan Liming Peng Jingyu Han Baoliang Liu Yujuan Wu Juan Chen 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,6:4
Effect of W addition on phase transformation and microstructure of powder metallurgic Ti-22Al-25Nb alloys during quenching and furnace cooling显示文摘Powder metallurgic Ti2 AlNb alloys with W addition are sintered at 900, 1000, 1070 °C,and 1150 °C(i.e., in the O + B2, a_2+ B2 + O, a_2+ B2, and single B2 phase regions, respectively)for 12 h, followed by water quenching and furnace cooling. Comparisons of phase and microstructure between quenched and furnace-cooled W-modified alloys are carried out to illustrate the phase transformation and microstructure evolution during the cooling process. Furthermore, a comparison is also made between W-modified and W-free alloys, to reveal the function of the W alloying.W addition accelerates the solutions of a_2 and O phases during the high-temperature holding, and a Widmannsta¨tten B2 + O structure, which contributes to the properties, is induced by furnace cooling from all the phase regions. The Widmannsta¨tten structure includes a B2 matrix, primary O, and secondary O precipitates. However, W alloying refines the Widmannsta¨tten structure only when the alloys are solution-treated and then cooled from the single B2 phase. Although the hardness of the W-modified alloys is lower than that of the W-free alloys sintered in the same phase region, an enhancement of hardness, 489 ± 18 HV, is obtained in the alloy solution-treated in the single B2 phase region for only 0.5 h.Junpeng YANG Qi CAI Zongqing MA Yuan HUANG Liming YU Huijun LI Yongchang LIU 2019Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,5:4
