1盐胁迫环境下腐植酸类物质对小麦生长及矿物营养吸收的影响显示文摘对在不同浓度的盐胁迫条件下,叶面喷施液态腐植酸和土壤施用腐植酸类物质对小麦作物生长和矿物营养吸收的影响进行了研究。通过添加不同量的NaCl得到不同的盐浓度环境。腐植酸类物质在作物种植前一个月施用,液态腐植酸在种苗发芽后20d和35d喷施于小麦叶面。腐植酸类物质的施用量为0、1g/kg、2g/kg,液态腐植酸的浓度为0、0.1%、0.2%。盐度对小麦生长具有负面影响,它会降低小麦对除Na、Mn以外的矿物营养的吸收,影响小麦干重。通过在土壤施用腐植酸类物质可以增加小麦对N的吸收,叶面施用腐植酸可增加其对P、K、Mg、Na、Cu和Zn的吸收。研究结果显示:在土壤中施用腐植酸类物质,不同盐浓度与施用量之间存在较好的相关性,但叶面喷施时盐度和喷施量之间相关性并不明显。在盐胁迫环境的影响下,叶面喷施腐植酸的初始浓度和土壤中施用的腐植酸类物质的初施量都增加了作物对营养元素的吸收。Bar Bülent A k Murat Ali Turan Hakan elik Ali Vahap Katkat 刘海弟 2009腐植酸2009,,6:6
2老年男性勃起功能及迟发性性腺功能减退症状与下尿路症状严重性的关系显示文摘本文旨在研究土耳其爱琴海地区的老年男性下尿路症状(LUTSs)、勃起功能障碍(ED)和有症状的迟发性性腺功能减退症(SLOH)三者间的关系。符合以下标准的500名男性患者被纳入该研究:40周岁以上;过去6个月内有稳定的性关系;在六个泌尿外科诊所之一进行过就诊登记。每位患者均行血清PSA、睾酮水平及尿流率的检测,并填写国际前列腺症状评分和生活质量评分(IPSS-QoL)量表、国际勃起功能指数(IIEF)问卷和老年男性症状(AMS)量表。在所有的研究对象中,23.9%的患者有轻度LUTSs,53.3%有中度LUTSS,22.8%有重度LUTSS。每组间总睾酮水平无明显差异。除此之外,69.6%的病人患有ED,且ED的发生率与LUTS严重性呈正相关。71.2%的患者出现SLOH(AMS〉27),且IPSS评分越高,严重的性腺功能减退症状的发生率也越高。相关性分析显示以上三种问卷分数之间有显著关联。总之,LUTS严重性是ED和SLOH的非年龄依赖性危险因素,LUTS严重性和SLOH症状之间似乎有显著的相关性,但还需要从病因学和生物学角度进行深入阐明。Ozan Bozkurt Deniz Bolat Omer Demir Oktay Ucer Ali Sahin Burak Ozcift Abdulkadir Pekta Tahir Turan Bilal H Gümü Ertan Cans Ahmet Bolukbasi Haluk Erol Adil Esenx 2013Asian Journal of Andrology2013,15,6:4
3What is the relationship between frailty and orthostatic hypotension in older adults?显示文摘Background Frailty and orthostatic hypotension (OH),which is common in older adults,is associated with morbidity and mortality.The relationship between them remains unclear.The aim of the study is to determine whether there is a relationship between frailty and OH.Methods A total of 496 patients who were admitted to the geriatric clinic and underwent comprehensive geriatric assessment were retrospectively reviewed.In a cross-sectional and observational study,OH was measured by the Head-up Tilt Table test at 1,3,and 5 min (respectively,OH1,OH3,and OH5) and the frailty was measured by the Fried’s frailty scale.Results The mean age of all patients was 75.4 ± 7.38.The prevalence of females was 69.8%.When the frail people were compared with the pre-frail and the robust ones,the frailty was associated with OH1.There was no relationship between the groups in terms of OH1 when the pre-frail group was compared with the robust group.OH3 were higher in the frail group than in the pre-frail group (P < 0.05) and the OH5 were higher in the frail group than in the pre-frail and robust group (P < 0.05),but OH3 and OH5 were not associated with frailty status when they were adjusted for age (P > 0.05).Slowness and weakness were associated with OH1 (P < 0.05),whereas the other components of the Fried’s test were not.Conclusions Frailty may be a risk factor for OH1.The 1^st min measurements of OH should be routinely evaluated in frail older adults to prevent OH-related poor outcomes.Suleyman Emre Kocyigit Pinar Soysal Esra Ates Bulut Ali Ekrem Aydin Ozge Dokuzlar Ahmet Turan Isik 2019Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2019,16,3:3
4Clinical risk factors for the development of consecutive exotropia:a comparative clinical study显示文摘AIM: To compare a group of patients with consecutive exotropia with patients who had ≤10 prism diopters(PD)esotropia or no deviation postoperatively in terms of probable clinical risk factors for the development of consecutive exotropia.METHODS: The study recruited fourteen patients who developed consecutive exodeviation during follow-up period after the correction of esotropia who were categorized as group 1 and thirty-one patients who had still ≤10 PD esotropia or no deviation at the final visit that were considered as group 2. Clinical risk factors leading the development of consecutive deviation were analyzed as the main outcome measures.RESULTS: The mean age of patients was 4.57±3.11 y in group 1 and 5.10±3.52 y in group 2(P =0.634). There was no significant difference of preoperative near and distant deviations among two groups(P =0.835, 0.928respectively). The mean amount of medial rectus recession and lateral rectus resection was similar in both groups(P =0.412, 0.648 respectively). Convergence insufficiency and neurological diseases were more frequent in group 1(P =0.007, 0.045). Accompanying neurological disease was found to be as a significant factor increasing the risk of the development of consecutive exotropia significantly [odds ratios(OR):5.75(1.04-31.93)]. 5A numerical study of anti-vortex film-cooling holes designs in a 1-1/2 turbine stage using LES显示文摘The primary focus of the present study is to investigate the impact of anti-vortex holes design on the film-cooling performance in a film-cooled rotor blade model using the large eddy simulation method(LES).One row of the film holes was positioned on the pressure surface of the rotor blade.This row had three cylindrical holes(the main hole in the present study)with a diameter(D)of 4 mm and a tangential injection angle of 28 deg.Each main hole supplemented with the addition of two symmetrical side holes(anti-vortex holes),which branch out from the same main hole.Three positions for the anti-vortex side holes were considered;namely:upstream to the outlet of the main hole;in line with the main hole;and downstream of the main hole.The Reynolds number was fixed at Re Z 1.92105 and the speed of the rotor blade was taken to be 1800 rpm.The blowing ratio varied from 1.0 to 5.0 and the density ratio of coolant to mainstream was 2.0.Compared to the base hole,the film cooling performance of the all anti-vortex cases showed obvious improvement at all blowing ratios.The middle stream side holes and downstream side holes each demonstrated good film cooling performance at all blowing ratios,while the upstream side holes perform well only at a lower blowing ratio.The presence of side holes can restrain the CRVP(counter rotating vortex pairs)intensity of the main hole and reduce the coolant lift-off,improving the film coverage and film cooling effectiveness.The downstream side holes can perform better in reducing the CRVP intensity.Nabeel Al-Zurfi Ali Turan Adel Nasser Ahmed Alhusseny 2019Propulsion and Power Research2019,8,4:2

9Solution combustion synthesis and electrochemical properties of yttrium-doped LiMnPO4/C cathode materials for lithium ion batteries显示文摘Phospho-olivine pristine LiMnPO4/C and yttrium-substituted LiMn1-xYxPO4/C(x=0,0.01,0.03,0.05)were synthesized by a solution combustion method.The effects of Y-doped on structure,morphology and electrochemical performances were investigated.From powder X-ray diffraction pattern,all substituted materials adopt an identical structure to that of the LiMnPO4 olivine structure,suggesting that the yttrium ion was well inco rporated into the crystal lattice,without any changes in the host crystal structure.The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy provides clearly that yttrium-substituting reduces the charge transfer impedance and improves the lithium ion diffusion through the structure.When x=0.01,the material shows an excellent capacity and stability during charge/discharge process.The initial specific discharge capacity can reach up to 156.84 mAh/g at C/20,with a coulombic efficiency of about 96.11%,which is 14%higher than that of the pristine material.The results confirm that the cyclic stability and the electrochemical performances of LiMnPO4/C are highly improved by Y-doping.Redouan El Khalfaouy Servet Turan Miguel A.Rodriguez Kamil Burak Dermenci Umut Savaci Abdellah Addaou Ali Laajeb Ahmed Lahsini 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,9:1

14Correlation of work function and stacking fault energy through Kelvin probe force microscopy and nanohardness in diluteα-magnesium显示文摘Electronic interactions of the Group 2A elements with magnesium have been studied through the dilute solid solutions in binary Mg-Ca,Mg-Sr and Mg-Ba systems.This investigation incorporated the difference in the‘Work Function'(ΔWF)measured via Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy(KPFM),as a property directly affected by interatomic bond types,i.e.the electronic structure,nanoindentation measurements,and Stacking Fault Energy values reported in the literature.It was shown that the nano-hardness of the solid-solutionα-Mg phase changed in the order of Mg-Ca>Mg-Sr>Mg-Ba.Thus,it was shown,by also considering the nano-hardness levels,that SFE of a solid-solution is closely correlated with its‘Work Function'level.Nano-hardness measurements on the eutectics andΔWF difference between eutectic phases enabled an assessment of the relative bond strength and the pertinent electronic structures of the eutectics in the three alloys.Correlation withΔWF and at least qualitative verification of those computed SFE values with some experimental measurement techniques were considered important as those computational methods are based on zero Kelvin degree,relatively simple atomic models and a number of assumptions.As asserted by this investigation,if the results of measurement techniques can be qualitatively correlated with those of the computational methods,it can be possible to evaluate the electronic structures in alloys,starting from binary systems,going to ternary and then multi-elemental systems.Our investigation has shown that such a qualitative correlation is possible.After all,the SFE values are not treated as absolute values but rather become essential in comparative investigations when assessing the influences of alloying elements at a fundamental level,that is,free electron density distributions.Our study indicated that the principles of‘electronic metallurgy'in developing multi-elemental alloy systems can be followed via practical experimental methods,i.e.ΔWF measurements using KPFM and nanoindentation.Yigit Türe Ali Arslan Kaya Hüseyin Aydin Jiang Peng Servet Turan 2024Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2024,12,1:0
15Mitigation of indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal lesions by a potent specific type V phosphodiesterase inhibitor显示文摘AIM: To investigate the gastroprotective effect of vardenafil against indomethacin-induced gastric damage. METHODS: Forty-eight female Wistar albino rats were randomly divided into 6 groups. Group 1 received saline only. Group 2 (indomethacin) received indomethacin. Rats in group 3 and 4 were pretreated with different doses of famotidine. Group 5 and 6 were pretreated with different doses of vardenafil. Rats in groups 3 to 6 received 25 mg/kg indomethacin 30 min after pretreatment. The animals were sacrificed 6 h later and their stomachs were opened. Gastric lesions were counted and measured. The stomach of each animal was divided in two parts for histopathological examinations and nitric oxide (NO) and malondialdehyde (MDA) assays, respectively. RESULTS: There were no gastric mucosal lesion in the saline group but all rats in the indomethacin group had gastric mucosal ulcerations (ulcer count; 6.25 ± 3.49, and mean ulcer area; 21.00 ± 12.35). Ulcer counts werediminished with famotidine 5 mg/kg (4.12 ± 2.47, P > 0.05), 20 mg/kg (2.37 ± 4.43, P < 0.05), vardenaf il 2 mg/kg (4.37 ± 3.06), and vardenafil 10 mg/kg (1.25 ± 1.38, P < 0.05) compared to the indomethacin group. Gastric mucosal lesion areas were diminished with famotidine 5 mg/kg (8.62 ± 2.97, P < 0.001), famotidine 20 mg/kg (0.94 ± 2.06, P < 0.001), vardenafil 2 mg/kg (6.62 ± 5.87, P < 0.001), and vardenafil 10 mg/kg (0.75 ± 0.88, P < 0.001) compared to the indomethacin group. MDA levels were signif icantly higher in indometh-acin group (28.48 ± 14.51), compared to the famotidine 5 mg/kg (6,21 ± 1.88, P < 0.05), famotidine 20 mg/kg (5.88 ± 1.60. P < 0.05), vardenaf il 2 mg/kg (15.87 ± 3.93, P < 0.05), and vardenafil 10 mg/kg (10.97 ± 4.50, P < 0.05). NO concentration in gastric tissues of the fa-motidine groups were significantly increased (P < 0.05), but the NO increases in the vardenafil groups were not statistically significant. Histopathology revealed dimin-ished gastric damage for pretreatment groups compared to the indomethacin group (P < 0.05). 17Botulinum toxin augmentation as a sequential procedure for residual esotropia in traumatic sixth nerve palsy显示文摘Dear Editor,We want to describe the surgical outcome of a patient with residual esotropia due to sixth nerve palsy with re-resection of the lateral rectus combined with botulinum toxin injection to previously recessed ipsilateral medial rectus.
