| 2 | Shaking Table Test Study on Dynamic Characteristics of Bridge Foundation Reinforcement on Slopes显示文摘With the fast development of bridge construction in mountainous and seismic areas,it is necessary to conduct related research. Based on the design of a shaking table model test,here are the following test results: the filtering effect exists in soil and is affected by the dynamic constraint conditions,the amplitude is strengthened around the natural frequency and weakened in other frequency bands in the Fourier spectrum. Since the acceleration scaling effect occurred on a sloped surface,the acceleration response decreases from the outside to the inside in soil. The dynamic response is relatively strong near the slip surface in bedrock due to the reflection of seismic waves. | 3 | Robust multiple description distributed video coding using optimized zero-padding显示文摘Distributed video coding (DVC) arouses high interests due to its property of low-complexity encoding. This paper proposes a robust multiple description DVC (MDDVC) under the constraint of low-complexity encoding. In MDDVC,zeros are padded to each frame and the resulting big-size video is divided into multiple descriptions. Then,each description is compressed by a hybrid DVC (HDVC) codec and trans-mitted over different channel. When one channel does not work,the lost HDVC description is estimated by the received from other channel,which guarantees the robustness of the system;MDDVC moves the complex motion estimation totally to the decoder so it features low-complexity encoding. In the pre-processing,an optimized zero-padding is also proposed to improve the performance. | 7 | Overexpressing rice lesion simulating disease 1-like gene(OsLOL1)in Gossypium hirsutum promotes somatic embryogenesis and plant regeneration显示文摘Background:Cotton somatic embryogenesis is difficult or rarely frequent to present,which has limited gene function identification and biotechnological utility.Here,we employed a rice key somatic embryogenesis-related gene,rice lesion simulating disease 1-like gene(OsLOL1),to develop transgenic cotton callus for evaluating its function in ectopic plants.Results:Overexpressing OsLOL1 can promote cotton callus to form embryogenic callus,not only shortening time but also increasing transition of somatic callus cells to embryogenic callus cells.And the regenerating plantlets per transgenic OsLOL1 embryogenic callus were significantly higher than those in the control transformed with empty vector.Analysis of physiological and biochemical showed that OsLOL1 can repress cotton superoxide dismutase 1 gene(GhSOD1)expression,possibly resulting in reactive oxidant species(ROS)accumulation in transgenic callus cells.And OsLOL1-overexpressed embryogenic callus exhibited higherα-amylase activity compared with the control,resulting from the promotion of OsLOL1 to cotton amylase 7 gene(GhAmy7)and GhAmy8 expression.Conclusion:The data showed that OsLOL1 could be used as a candidate gene to transform cotton to increase its somatic embryogenesis capacity,facilitating gene function analysis and molecular breeding in cotton. | WANG Zhian WANG Peng HU Guang XIAO Juanli ZHANG Anhong LUO Xiaoli WU Jiahe | 2020 | Journal of Cotton Research2020,3,3: | 0 |
| 8 | High-Imperceptibility Data Hiding Scheme for JPEG Images Based on Direction Modification显示文摘Data hiding(DH)is an important technology for securely transmitting secret data in networks,and has increasing become a research hotspot throughout the world.However,for Joint photographic experts group(JPEG)images,it is difficult to balance the contradiction among embedded capacity,visual quality and the file size increment in existing data hiding schemes.Thus,to deal with this problem,a high-imperceptibility data hiding for JPEG images is proposed based on direction modification.First,this proposed scheme sorts all of the quantized discrete cosine transform(DCT)block in ascending order according to the number of non-consecutive-zero alternating current(AC)coefficients.Then it selects non-consecutive-zero AC coefficients with absolute values less than or equal to 1 at the same frequency position in two adjacent blocks for pairing.Finally,the 2-bit secret data can be embedded into a coefficient-pair by using the filled reference matrix and the designed direction modification rules.The experiment was conducted on 5 standard test images and 1000 images of BOSSbase dataset,respectively.The experimental results showed that the visual quality of the proposed scheme was improved by 1∼4 dB compared with the comparison schemes,and the file size increment was reduced at most to 15%of the comparison schemes. | Li Liu Jing Li Yingchun Wu Chin-Chen Chang Anhong Wang | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,11: | 0 |
| 9 | Introduction of Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)gene does not reduce potassium use efficiency of Bt transgenic cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)显示文摘Background:Potassium(K)deficiency has become a common field production problem following the widespread adoption of Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)transgenic cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)worldwide.The purpose of this study was to clarify whether the introduction of Bt gene directly reduces the K-use efficiency of cotton to induce K deficiency.Results:The cotton variety,Jihe 321(wild type,WT)and its two Bt(Cry1Ac)-transgenic overexpression lines(OE-29317,OE-29312)were studied in field with low soil-test K+(47.8 mg·kg^(−1)).In the field with low soil-test K+,only OE-29317 had less biomass and K+accumulation than the WT at some growth stages.Both Bt lines produced similar or even greater seed cotton yield than WT in the field.When the Bt gene(~70%)in OE-29317 and OE-29312 plants was silenced by virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS),the VIGS-Bt plants did not produce more biomass than VIGSgreen fluorescent protein(control)plants.Conclusions:The introduction of Bt gene did not necessarily hinder the K use efficiency of the cotton lines under this study. | WANG Qianqian YAN Wei ZHANG Yichi ZHAN Manman LUO Xiaoli ENEJI AEgrinya ZHANG Anhong XIAO Juanli LI Fangjun TIAN Xiaoli | 2022 | Journal of Cotton Research2022,5,3: | 0 |
