1Temperature-dependent phonon spectra of magnetic random solid solutions显示文摘A first-principles-based computational tool for simulating phonons of magnetic random solid solutions including thermal magnetic fluctuations is developed.The method takes fluctuations of force constants due to magnetic excitations as well as due to chemical disorder into account.The developed approach correctly predicts the experimentally observed unusual phonon hardening of a transverse acoustic mode in Fe–Pd an Fe–Pt Invar alloys with increasing temperature.This peculiar behavior,which cannot be explained within a conventional harmonic picture,turns out to be a consequence of thermal magnetic fluctuations.The proposed methodology can be straightforwardly applied to a wide range of materials to reveal new insights into physical behaviors and to design materials through computation,which were not accessible so far.Yuji Ikeda Fritz Körmann Biswanath Dutta Abel Carreras Atsuto Seko Jörg Neugebauer Isao Tanaka 2018npj Computational Materials2018,,1:2

11Recommender system for discovery of inorganic compounds显示文摘A recommender system based on experimental databases is useful for the efficient discovery of inorganic compounds.Here,we review studies on the discovery of as-yet-unknown compounds using recommender systems.The first method used compositional descriptors made up of elemental features.Chemical compositions registered in the inorganic crystal structure database(ICSD)were supplied to machine learning for binary classification.The other method did not use any descriptors,but a tensor decomposition technique was adopted.The predictive performance for currently unknown chemically relevant compositions(CRCs)was determined by examining their presence in other databases.According to the recommendation,synthesis experiments of two pseudo-ternary compounds with currently unknown structures were successful.Finally,a synthesis-condition recommender system was constructed by machine learning of a parallel experimental data-set collected in-house using a polymerized complex method.Recommendation scores for unexperimented conditions were then evaluated.Synthesis experiments under the targeted conditions found two yet-unknown pseudo-binary oxides.Hiroyuki Hayashi Atsuto Seko Isao Tanaka 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:0

13Visibility of the bleeding point in acute rectal hemorrhagic ulcer using red dichromatic imaging:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Red dichromatic imaging(RDI)is a novel image-enhanced endoscopy expected to improve the visibility of the bleeding point.However,it has not been thoroughly investigated.CASE SUMMARY A 91-year-old man developed a sudden massive hematochezia and underwent emergent colonoscopy.An ulcer with pulsatile bleeding was found on the lower rectum.Due to massive bleeding,the exact location of the bleeding point was not easy to detect with white light imaging(WLI).Upon switching to RDI,the bleeding point appeared in deeper yellow compared to the surrounding blood.Thus,RDI enabled us for easier recognition of the bleeding point,and hemostasis was achieved successfully.Furthermore,we reviewed endoscopic images and evaluated the color difference between the bleeding point and surrounding blood for WLI and RDI.In our case,the color difference of RDI was greater than that of WLI(9.75 vs 6.61),and RDI showed a better distinguished bleeding point from the surrounding blood.CONCLUSION RDI may improve visualization of the bleeding point by providing better contrast in color difference relative to surrounding blood.Yuichiro Hirai Atsuto Kayashima Yoshihiro Nakazato Ai Fujimoto 2021World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2021,13,7:0
