1OsWRKY03, a rice transcriptional activator that functions in defense signaling pathway upstream of OsNPR1显示文摘WRKY family proteins are a class of plant specific transcription factors that involve in many stress response pathways. It has been shown that one Arabidopsis WRKY protein, AtWRKY29/22, is activated by MAP kinase signaling cascade and confers resistance to both bacterial and fungal pathogens. However, little is known about the biological roles of WRKY proteins in rice. In this study, we investigated the expression patterns of rice AtWRKY29/22 homolog, OsWRKY03, under different conditions, and also its possible role involved in plant defense. Our results showed that OsWRKY03 was up-regulated by several defense signaling molecules or different treatments. Further analysis revealed that the expres- sion of OsWRKY03 was light dependent. Transcriptional activation activity of OsWRKY03 was also demonstrated by yeast functional assay. Transient expression of OsWRKY03-GFP fusion protein in onion epidermis cells showed that OsWRKY03 was a nuclear localized protein. OsNPR1 as well as several other pathogenesis-related genes, such as OsPR1b, phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (ZB8) and peroxidase (POX22.3), were induced in OsWRKY03-overexpressing transgenic plants. 2Multiple genetic alterations and behavior of cellular biology in gastric cancer and other gastric mucosal lesions:H.pylori infection,histological types and staging显示文摘AIM To investigate the expression of multiplegenes and the behavior of cellular biology ingastric cancer(GC)and other gastric mucosallesions and their relations to Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection,tumor staging andhistological subtypes.METHODS Three hundred and twenty-sevenspecimens of gastric mucosa obtained viaendoscopy or surgical resection,and ABCimmunohistochemical staining were used todetect the expression of p53,p16,Bcl-2 andCOX-2 proteins.H.pylori was determined byrapid urea test combined with pathologicalstaining or14C urea breath test.Cellular image analysis was performed in 66 patients withintestinal metaplasia(IM)and/or dysplasia(Dys).In 30 of them,both cancer and theparacancerous tissues were obtained at the timeof surgery.Histological pattern,tumor staging,lymph node metastasis,grading ofdifferentiation and other clinical data werestudied in the medical records.RESULTS p16 expression of IM or Dys wassignificantly lower in positive H.pylori chronicatrophic gastritis(CAG)than those withnegative H.pylori(CAG:54.8% vs 88.0%,IM:34.4% vs 69.6%,Dys:23.8% vs 53.6%,allP<0.05),Bcl-2 or COX-2 expression of IM orDys in positive H.pylori cases was significantlyhigher than that without H.pylori(Bcl-2:68.8%vs23.9%,90.5% vs 60.7%;COX-2:50.0% vs10.8%,61.8% vs 17.8%;all P<0.05).Themean number of most parameters of cellularimage analysis in positive H.pylori group wassignificantly higher than that in negative H.pylori group(Ellipser:53±14,40±12μm,Area1:748±572,302±202 μm2,Area2:3050±1661,1681±1990 μm2,all P<0.05;Ellipseb:79±23,58±15 μm,Ratio1:22%±5%,13%±4%,Ratio2:79%±17%,53%±20%,all P<0.01).There was significant correlation between Bcl-2and histologic pattern of gastric carcinoma,andbetween COX-2 and tumor staging or lymph nodemetastasis(Bcl-2:75.0% vs 16.7%;COX-2:76.0% vs 20.0%,79.2% vs 16.7%;allP<0.05).CONCLUSION p1l6, Bcl-2, and COX-2 but not p53 gene may play a role in the early genesis/ progression of gastric carcinoma and are associated with H. pylori infection. p53 gene is relatively late event in gastric tumorigenesis and mainly relates to its progression. There is more cellular-biological behavior of malignant tumor in gastric mucosal lesions with H. pylori infection. Aberrant Bcl-2 protein expression appears to be preferentially associated with the intestinal type cancer. 7Experimental Research on the Propagation Process of Continuous Rotating Detonation Wave显示文摘In order to study the propagation mechanism of continuous rotating detonation wave,the H2/air continuous rotating detonation engine ignited by tangentially installed H2/O2pre-detonation tube is studied experimentally using a tilt slot injector structure.The experimental results show that the stable rotating detonation wave can be gained successfully with the equivalent ratio of 0.93.The propagation frequency and velocity of rotating detonation wave range from 5200 to 5500 Hz and from 1518.5 to 1606.1 m/s,respectively.Three propagation modes,such as rotation,reversal and bifurcation,of detonation wave are verified through the analysis of propagation mechanism of rotating detonation wave.Quan ZHENG Chun-sheng WENG Qiao-dong BAI 2013Defence Technology(防务技术)2013,9,4:16
8New Method to Improve Dynamic Stiffness of Electro-hydraulic Servo Systems显示文摘Most current researches working on improving stiffness focus on the application of control theories.But controller in closed-loop hydraulic control system takes effect only after the controlled position is deviated,so the control action is lagged.Thus dynamic performance against force disturbance and dynamic load stiffness can't be improved evidently by advanced control algorithms.In this paper,the elementary principle of maintaining piston position unchanged under sudden external force load change by charging additional oil is analyzed.On this basis,the conception of raising dynamic stiffness of electro hydraulic position servo system by flow feedforward compensation is put forward.And a scheme using double servo valves to realize flow feedforward compensation is presented,in which another fast response servo valve is added to the regular electro hydraulic servo system and specially utilized to compensate the compressed oil volume caused by load impact in time.The two valves are arranged in parallel to control the cylinder jointly.Furthermore,the model of flow compensation is derived,by which the product of the amplitude and width of the valve's pulse command signal can be calculated.And determination rules of the amplitude and width of pulse signal are concluded by analysis and simulations.Using the proposed scheme,simulations and experiments at different positions with different force changes are conducted.The simulation and experimental results show that the system dynamic performance against load force impact is largely improved with decreased maximal dynamic position deviation and shortened settling time.That is,system dynamic load stiffness is evidently raised.This paper proposes a new method which can effectively improve the dynamic stiffness of electro-hydraulic servo systems.BAI Yanhong QUAN Long 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5:9
9Effects of total pressures and equivalence ratios on kerosene/air rotating detonation engines using a paralleling CE/SE method显示文摘In this paper,the kerosene/air rotating detonation engines(RDE)are numerically investigated,and the emphasis is laid on the effects of total pressures and equivalence ratios on the operation characteristics of RDE including the initiation,instabilities,and propulsive performance.A hybrid MPI t OpenMP parallel computing model is applied and it is proved to be able to obtain a more effective parallel performance on high performance computing(HPC)systems.A series of cases with the total pressure of 1 MPa,1.5 MPa,2 MPa,and the equivalence ratio of 0.9,1,1.4 are simulated.On one hand,the total pressure shows a significant impact on the instabilities of rotating detonation waves.The instability phenomenon is observed in cases with low total pressure(1 MPa)and weakened with the increase of the total pressure.The total pressure has a small impact on the detonation wave velocity and the specific impulse.On the other hand,the equivalence ratio shows a negligible influence on the instabilities,while it affects the ignition process and accounts for the detonation velocity deficit.It is more difficult to initiate rotating detonation waves directly in the lean fuel operation condition.Little difference was observed in the thrust with different equivalence ratios of 0.9,1,and 1.4.The highest specific impulse was obtained in the lean fuel cases,which is around 2700 s.The findings could provide insights into the understanding of the operation characteristics of kerosene/air RDE.Fang Wang Chun-sheng Weng Yu-wen Wu Qiao-dong Bai Quan Zheng Han Xu 2021Defence Technology(防务技术)2021,17,6:7
10Design of freeform geometries in a MEMS accelerometer with a mechanical motion preamplifier based on a genetic algorithm显示文摘This paper describes a novel,semiautomated design methodology based on a genetic algorithm(GA)using freeform geometries for microelectromechanical systems(MEMS)devices.The proposed method can design MEMS devices comprising freeform geometries and optimize such MEMS devices to provide high sensitivity,large bandwidth,and large fabrication tolerances.The proposed method does not require much computation time or memory.The use of freeform geometries allows more degrees of freedom in the design process,improving the diversity and performance of MEMS devices.A MEMS accelerometer comprising a mechanical motion amplifier is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the design approach.Experimental results show an improvement in the product of sensitivity and bandwidth by 100%and a sensitivity improvement by 141%compared to the case of a device designed with conventional orthogonal shapes.Furthermore,excellent immunities to fabrication tolerance and parameter mismatch are achieved.Chen Wang Xiaoxiao Song Weidong Fang Fang Chen Ioannis Zeimpekis Yuan Wang Aojie Quan Jian Bai Huafeng Liu Gerold Schropfer Chris Welham Michael Kraft 2020Microsystems & Nanoengineering2020,6,1:6

14Sensitivity of runoff to climatic variability in the northern and southern slopes of the Middle Tianshan Mountains,China显示文摘Temperature and precipitation play an important role in the distribution of intra-annual runoff by influencing the timing and contribution of different water sources.In the northern and southern slopes of the Middle Tianshan Mountains in China,the water sources of rivers are similar;however,the proportion and dominance of water sources contributing to runoff are different.Using the Manas River watershed in the northern slope and the Kaidu River watershed in the southern slope of the Middle Tianshan Mountains as case studies,we investigated the changes in annual runoff under climate change.A modified hydrological model was used to simulate runoff in the Kaidu River and Manas River watersheds.The results indicated that runoff was sensitive to precipitation variation in the southern slope and to temperature variation in the northern slope of the Middle Tianshan Mountains.Variations in temperature and precipitation substantially influence annual and seasonal runoff.An increase in temperature did not influence the volume of spring runoff;but it resulted in earlier spring peaks with higher levels of peak flow.Damages caused by spring peak flow from both slopes of the Middle Tianshan Mountains should be given more attention in future studies.ZHANG Feiyun BAI Lei LI Lanhai WANG Quan 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,5:4

17Construction of a niche-specific spinal white matter-like tissue to promote directional axon regeneration and myelination for rat spinal cord injury repair显示文摘Directional axon regeneration and remyelination are crucial for repair of spinal cord injury(SCI),but existing treatments do not effectively promote those processes.Here,we propose a strategy for construction of niche-specific spinal white matter-like tissue(WMLT)using decellularized optic nerve(DON)loaded with neurotrophin-3(NT-3)-overexpressing oligodendrocyte precursor cells.A rat model with a white matter defect in the dorsal spinal cord of the T10 segment was used.The WMLT transplantation group showed significant improvement in coordinated motor functions compared with the control groups.WMLT transplants integrated well with host spinal cord white matter,effectively addressing several barriers to directional axonal regeneration and myelination during SCI repair.In WMLT,laminin was found to promote development of oligodendroglial lineage(OL)cells by binding to laminin receptors.Interestingly,laminin could also guide linear axon regeneration via interactions with specific integrins on the axon surface.The WMLT developed here utilizes the unique microstructure and bioactive matrix of DON to create a niche rich in laminin,NT-3 and OL cells to achieve significant structural repair of SCI.Our protocol can help to promote research on repair of nerve injury and construction of neural tissues and organoids that form specific cell niches.Bi-Qin Lai Yu-Rong Bai Wei-Tao Han Bao Zhang Shu Liu Jia-Hui Sun Jia-Lin Liu Ge Li Xiang Zeng Ying Ding Yuan-Huan Ma Ling Zhang Zheng-Hong Chen Jun Wang Yuan Xiong Jin-Hua Wu Qi Quan Ling-Yan Xing Hong-Bo Zhang Yuan-Shan Zeng 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,5:3
