1Synthesis of Reprocessable Lignin-based Non-isocyanate Poly(imine-hydroxyurethane)s Networks显示文摘In this study,an environmentally friendly and non-toxic route to synthesize lignin-based non-isocyanate poly(imine-hydroxyurethane)s networks was explored.Specifically,the NH_(2)-terminated polyhydroxyurethanes(NPHUs)prepolymer was first synthesized from bis(6-membered cyclic carbonate)(BCC)and diamine via the ring-opening reaction.Subsequently,the corresponding ligninbased non-isocyanate polyurethanes(NIPUs)with tunable properties were synthesized from NPHUs and levulinate lignin derivatives containing ketone groups via the Schiff base reaction.The structural,mechanical,and thermal properties of NIPUs with different stoichiometric feed ratios of BCC and levulinate lignin were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA),and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).The results indicated that the tensile strength,Young's modulus,toughness,storage modulus,glass transition temperature,and thermal stability of lignin-based NIPUs gradually increased with increasing lignin content,and the highest Young's modulus of 41.1 MPa was obtained when lignin content reached 45.53%.With good reprocessing properties,this synthetic framework of ligninbased NIPUs also provides sustainable non-isocyanate-based substitutions to traditional polyurethane networks.Danwei Xue Bailiang Xue Rui Tang Chao Shen Xinping Li Wei Zhao 2021Paper And Biomaterials2021,6,1:4
2Lactobacillus plantarum KLDS1.0386 with antioxidant capacity ameliorates the lipopolysaccharide-induced acute liver injury in mice by NF-κB and Nrf2 pathway显示文摘The Lactobacillus is of great interest as a natural antioxidant to ameliorate liver injury for its antioxidant capacity.In a previous experiment,Lactobacillus plantarum KLDS 1.0386 was excellent in adhesion and anti-inflammation.This research assessed the antioxidant capacity of L.plantarum KLDS 1.0386 and how it ameliorates the LPS-induced acute liver injury.In vitro results showed that L.plantarum KLDS 1.0386 had potential antioxidant capacity with 27 genes,and it had better capacities in hydroxyl radicals scavenging and lipid antioxidant than the reference strain L.plantarum WCFS1 (P < 0.05).In vivo results,L.plantarum KLDS 1.0386 significantly reduced hepatic tissue injury,pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α,IL-6),myeloperoxidase (MPO) activities and biochemical indicators of hepatotoxicity (ALT,AST,ALP) (P < 0.05),compared with the LPS-treated mice.Moreover,L.plantarum KLDS 1.0386 increased the relative abundance of the genera,including Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group,Muribaculaceae and Alistipes,which significantly increased the level of acetic acid and butyric acid (P < 0.05).The results also showed L.plantarum KLDS 1.0386 significantly adjusted the expression of HO-1,NQO1,CAT,NF-κB,TLR4 and IκB-α in the liver (P < 0.05).Overall,these results indicated that L.plantarum KLDS 1.0386 had great functionality in reducing LPS-induced acute liver injury.Jiahuan Dong Lijun Ping Qinggang Xie Deyu Liu Li Zhao Smith Etareri Evivie Zhongjiang Wang Bailiang Li Guicheng Huo 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:2
3Solvatochromic Probe Based on Nanocellulose Membrane Coated with Zn-terpyridine Complex in a Layer-by-Layer Manner显示文摘Solvatochromic materials have recently attracted increasing attention owing to their great significance in the security and sensor fields.In this study,ultrafast explicit and implicit information was collected regarding a fluorescent nanocellulose membrane produced from nanocellulose membranes coated with a Zn-terpyridine complex(Zn-tpy)in a layer-by-layer manner.The fluorescent emissions of the nanocellulose membrane changed from yellow(CIE:x=0.37,y=0.45)to green(CIE:x=0.32,y=0.47)under a dichloromethane environment and 365-nm irradiation.Due to the ease of dichloromethane volatilization,fluorescent emissions quickly returned to the original state.These solvatochromic nanocellulose membranes,with ultrafast explicit and implicit information,exhibited valuable application prospects in anti-counterfeiting techniques.XinPing Li FaFa Song Meng Zhang BaiLiang Xue JingYi Nie ShunTian Jia YaoYu Wang Zhao Zhang 2019Paper And Biomaterials2019,4,2:1
4Synthesis of Lignin-based Nonisocyanate Poly(imine-hydroxyurethane)s Networks.Part II:Self-healing,Reprocessing,and Degradation显示文摘This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the polymeric properties of lignin-based non-isocyanate poly(iminehydroxyurethane)s(LNIPUs).The properties of the LNIPUs are affected by changes in the stoichiometric feed ratios of the bis(6-membered cyclic carbonate)(BCC)and levulinate enzymatic hydrolysis lignin(LEHL).The results showed that the LNIPUs exhibited a short relaxation time and excellent thermal repair and degradation properties.With a change in the LEHL content in the LNIPUs to 45.53%,a relaxation time of only 9 s was achieved,and the thermal repair rate of the scratches reached 93%.Furthermore,the tensile strength of the LNIPUs decreased with an increase in the LEHL content after two hot-pressing processes,while a higher than 75% tensile strength was maintained after the second hot-pressing treatment.The LNIPUs exhibited thermoresponsive shape memory property with deformation and shape fixing at 80℃.In addition,the as-synthesized LNIPUs were soluble in ethylene glycol in the absence of any organic solvents.This work demonstrates the synthesis of LNIPUs with self-healing,reprocessing,shape memory,and degradation properties.Chao Shen Bailiang Xue Danwei Xue Rui Tang Wei Zhao Xinping Li 2021Paper And Biomaterials2021,6,3:0
5Variation in cross-shore wind speeds influenced by the morphology of nourished beach显示文摘The cross-shore variation in wind speeds influenced by beach nourishment,especially the dramatic changes at the nourished berm,is important for understanding the aeolian sand transport processes that occur after beach nourishment,which will contribute to better beach nourishment project design on windy coasts.In this paper,the influencing factors and potential mechanism of wind speed variation at the edge of a nourished berm were studied.Field observations,together with the Duna model,were used to study the cross-shore wind speed distribution for different nourishment schemes.The results show that the nourished berm elevation and beachface slope are the main factors controlling the increase in wind speed at the berm edge.When the upper beach slope is constant,the wind speed at the berm edge has a positive linear correlation with the berm elevation.When the berm elevation remains constant,the wind speed at the berm edge is also proportional to the upper beach slope.Considering the coupling effects of nourished berm elevation and beachface slope,a model for predicting the wind speed amplification rate at the nourished berm edge was established,and the underlying coupling mechanism was illustrated.Xu Chen Jianhui Liu Feng Cai Yanyu He Bailiang Li Hongshuai Qi Shaohua Zhao Gen Liu 2023Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,7:0
6Auxiliary Diagnosis of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma Based on Spectral Phenotype显示文摘Thyroid cancer,a common endocrine malignancy,is one of the leading death causes among endocrine tumors.The diagnosis of pathological section analysis suffers from diagnostic delay and cumbersome operating procedures.Therefore,we intend to construct the models based on spectral data that can be potentially used for rapid intraoperative papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC)diagnosis and characterize PTC characteristics.To alleviate any concerns pathologists may have about using the model,we conducted an analysis of the used bands that can be interpreted pathologically.A spectra acquisition system was first built to acquire spectra of pathological section images from 91 patients.The obtained spectral dataset contains 217 spectra of normal thyroid tissue and 217 spectra of PTC tissue.Clinical data of the corresponding patients were collected for subsequent model interpretability analysis.The experiment has been approved by the Ethics Review Committee of the Wuhu Hospital of East China Normal University.The spectral preprocessing method was used to process the spectra,and the preprocessed signal respectively optimized by the first and secondary informative wavelengths selection was used to develop the PTC detection models.The PTC detection model using mean centering(MC)and multiple scattering correction(MSC)has optimal performance,and the reasons for the good performance were analyzed in combination with the spectral acquisition process and composition of the test slide.For model interpretable analysis,the near-ultraviolet band selected for modeling corresponds to the location of amino acid absorption peak,and this is consistent with the clinical phenomenon of significantly lower amino acid concentrations in PTC patients.Moreover,the absorption peak of hemoglobin selected for modeling is consistent with the low hemoglobin index in PTC patients.In addition,the correlation analysis was performed between the selected wavelengths and the clinical data,and the results show:the reflection intensity of selected wavelengths in normal cells has a moderate correlation with cell arrangement structure,nucleus size and free thyroxine(FT4),and has a strong correlation with triiodothyronine(T3);the reflection intensity of selected bands in PTC cells has a moderate correlation with free triiodothyronine(FT3).Bailiang Zhao Yan Wang Menghan Hu Yue Wu Jiannan Liu Qingli Li Min Dai Wendell QSun Guangtao Zhai 2023Phenomics2023,3,5:0
