1Interleukin 17-Producing γδ T Cells Increased in Patients with Active Pulmonary Tuberculosis显示文摘Although it has been known that γδ T cells may play an important role in the immune response to infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tb), the mechanisms by which the γδ T cells participate in the innate and/or acquired immunity to tuberculosis (TB) have not been full elucidated. In the present study, 27 patients with active pulmonary TB and 16 healthy donors (HD) were performed. We found that proportion of IL-17-producing cells among lymphocyte was similar between TB patients and HD, whereas the proportions of γδ T cells in IL-17-producing cells (59.2%) and IL-17-producing cells in γδ T cells (19.4%) in peripheral blood were markedly increased in TB patients when compared to those in HD (43.9% and 7.7%, respectively). In addition, the proportions of IFN-γ-producing γδ T cells in TB patients were obviously lower than that in HD. Upon re-stimulated with M. tb heat-treated antigen (M. tb-HAg) in vitro, fewer IL-17-producing γδ T cells were generated from HD and TB patients, whereas IFN-γ-producing γδ T cells were increased in TB patients compared to that in HD. Our findings in TB patients and healthy human were consistent with other murine investigation that the IL-17-producing γδ T cells were main source of IL-17 in mouse model of BCG infection, suggesting that γδ T cells might be involved in the formation of tubercular granuloma in pulmonary TB patients, but need further identification.Meiyu Peng Zhaohua Wang Chunyan Yao Lina Jiang Qili Jin Jing Wang Baiqing Li 2008Cellular & Molecular Immunology2008,5,3:28
2Effects of the two-step ageing treatment on the microstructure and properties of 7B04 alloy pre-stretched thick plates显示文摘The effects of the two-step ageing parameters (temperature and time) on the mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of 7B04 (Al-Zn-Mg-Cu) pre-stretched thick plates were studied. The results reveal that the initial T1 ageing contributes a major increase of the tensile strength, and the 0.2% proof stress value reaches 482 MPa after ageing for 7 h at 115°C. Behavioral differences in the tensile properties of the alloy after the two-step ageing treatment were less with the first-step ageing at 115°C for different time periods (7, 14, and 21 h). The effects of the second ageing parameters on the properties and microstructure of the 7B04 alloy were remarkable. TEM analysis of the samples aged at Temper I (7 h at 115°C + 12 h at 160°C) and Temper II (7 h at 115°C + 16 h at 165°C) indicates that two kinds of phases, i.e. η′ and η phases, precipitate from the matrix and efficiently improve the tensile strength of the alloy, and the grain boundary precipitates are coarse and discrete. 3Effects of cooling rate on the fracture properties of TA15 ELI alloy plates显示文摘The effects of cooling rate on the mechanical properties and the fatigue crack growth behavior of TA15 ELI alloy plates with different microstructures were investigated at room temperature. The results indicate that the cooling rate (water quench, air cooling, and furnace cooling) has a pronounced influence on the mechanical properties and on the fatigue crack growth, especially for air cooling and furnace cooling. Optical microstructure observation and scanning electron microscopy of tensile fracture surfaces were performed to gain an insight into the mechanism of properties. The dependence of me-chanical properties and fatigue crack growth behavior on the cooling rate can be attributed to the α lamellae width and the α colony size, which induce the change in slip length. 4Effect of one-step aging on microstructure and properties of a novel Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr alloy显示文摘The effect of one-step aging temper on the mechanical properties, electrical conductivity and the microstructure of a novel Al-7.5Zn-1.6Mg-1.4Cu-0.12Zr alloy has been investigated. The results indicated that with elevating the aging temperature from 100℃ to 160℃, the aging response rate was greatly accelerated, and the UTS at peak aging condition decreased, while the corresponding TYS increased. However, the electrical conductivity of the alloy became higher. After aging for 24 h at 120℃, the peak UTS and TYS values were achieved as 591 MPa and 541 MPa, respectively; but the alloy achieved a lower conductivity, 20.4 MS/m. When T6 temper was performed at 140℃ for 14 h, the UTS decreased only by 1% of the former, whereas the TYS and the electrical conductivity increased obviously, which were up to 559 MPa and 22.6 MS/m, respectively. The major strengthening precipitates of the peak-aged alloy were GP zones and η′ phase. The precipitates in both the matrix and the grain boundary became coarser with rising aging temperature. 5Effect of Zn addition on microstructure and mechanical properties of an Al–Mg–Si alloy显示文摘In the present work, an Al–0.66Mg–0.85Si–0.2Cu alloy with Zn addition was investigated by electron back scattering diffraction(EBSD), high resolution electron microscopy(HREM), tensile and Erichsen tests. The mechanical properties of the alloy after pre-aging met the standards of sheet forming. After paint baking, the yield strength of the alloy was improved apparently. GP(Ⅱ) zones and η'phases were formed during aging process due to Zn addition. 6Ageing behavior of an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy pre-stretched thick plate显示文摘The ageing behavior of a pre-stretched thick plate of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy was systemically studied including one-step ageing, two-step ageing, and retrogression and reageing treatment (RRA). One-step ageing of the alloy resulted in peak ultimate tensile strengths of 595 and 575 MPa after 22 and 6 h at 120 and 135°C, respectively. The strengthening phase in peak aged (T6 temper) alloy contained GP zones and the η′ phase predominantly. After two-step ageing, the electrical conductivity was increased markedly, but the pre-stretched thick plate sacrificed a great loss of strength. RRA treatment provided a method for maintaining the strength close to that obtained by T6 temper and for obtaining the high electrical conductivity close to that obtained by T7 temper; the ultimate tensile strength and electrical conductivity were 583 MPa and 21.0 MS/m, respectively. 7Atmospheric Pb variations in Central Asia since 1955 from Muztagata ice core record, eastern Pamirs显示文摘A Muztagata ice core recovered at 7010 m altitude in East Pamirs provides a Pb concentration record from 1955 to 2000. The result reveals in- creasing Pb concentrations from 1955 to 1993, with two Pb concentration peaks in 1980 and 1993. After 1993, Pb concentrations in ice core show an obvi- ously declining trend. 8Major advances in studies of the physical geography and living environment of China during the past 70 years and future prospects显示文摘The natural environment provides material essentials for human survival and development. The characteristics,processes, regional differentiation and forcing mechanisms of the elements of the natural environment(e.g. geomorphology,climate, hydrology, soil, etc.) are the main objects of research in physical geography. China has a complex natural environment and huge regional differentiation and therefore it provides outstanding reserach opportunities in physical geography. This review summarizes the most important developments and the main contributions of research in the physical geography and human living environment in China during the past 70 years. The major topics addressed are the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the evolution of its cryosphere, the development of fluvial systems, the acidification of the vast arid region of the Asian interior, variations in the monsoon and westerly climate systems on multiple timescales, the development of lakes and wetlands, the watershed system model, soil erosion, past human-environment interactions, biogeography, and physical geographic zonality. After briefly introducing international research developments, we review the history of research in physical geography in China, focusing on the major achievements and major academic debates, and finally we summarize the status of current research and the future prospects. 9Aging behavior and fatigue crack propagation of high Zn-containing Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys with zinc variation显示文摘In the present work, the influence of two-step aging treatments on hardness, electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of two high Zn-containing Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys with zinc content variation was investigated and the detailed T76 aging parameters were proposed. The microstructure of the precipitates were studied by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HREM) and then quantitatively investigated with the aid of an image analysis. The fatigue performances were researched by the fatigue crack propagation(FCP) rate test and fracture morphology was observed with scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results show that the matrix precipitate size distributions of both alloys had significant difference, so as to fatigue crack propagation rates and fracture appearance. The shear and bypass mechanisms of dislocation-precipitate interactions were employed to explain the difference. Among the shearable precipitates, the proportion of larger size precipitates for the higher zinc content alloy is bigger than that for the lower zinc content alloy. The coarse shearable precipitates hinder the propagation of the fatigue cracks, leading to inferior FCP rate. 10Pre-aging on early-age behavior and bake hardening response of an Al-0.90Mg-0.80Si-0.64Zn-0.23Cu alloy显示文摘Pre-aging on early-age behavior and bake hardening response of an Al-0.90Mg-0.80Si-0.64 Zn alloy was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM), 3-dimensional atom probe(3DAP), Erichsen test and tensile test. The results indicated that pre-aged alloy exhibited excellent formability and bake-hardening response, while bake hardening response was poor in samples with natural aging. Clustering behavior during natural aging was inhibited by pre-aging. Numerous GP zones formed in pre-aged samples. GP zones were the nuclei of β′′ precipitates or directly transformed β′′ phases during paint baking process. A large number of β′′ phases were observed in pre-aged samples after paint bake treatment. 11Microstructure and properties characteristic during interrupted multi-step aging in Al-Cu-Mg-Ag-Zr alloy显示文摘The effects of interrupted multi-step aging on the microstructure and properties of Al-Cu-Mg-Ag-Zr alloy were studied by tensile,hardness,electrical conductivity tests and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Interrupted multi-step aging delayed the peak aging time compared to one-step aging and kept the same levels of hardness,electrical conductivity,ultimate tensile strength(UTS),yield strength(YS) and elongation as those of the T6 temper alloy while increased the fracture toughness notably.Ω phase and a little θ' phase precipitated and grew simultaneously in the process of one-step aging at 160℃.During the second-step aging at 65℃ of interrupted multi-step aging,no TEM characteristic of Ω precipitates could be found.During the third step of interrupted multi-step aging,Ω began to dominate the microstructure like what happened in the process of one-step aging.The difference of properties between the T6 temper and the interrupted multi-step aged alloys might be related to the different precipitation sequences in the process of the two heat treatment technologies.ZHUBaohong XIONG Baiqing ZHANG Yong'an ZHANG Jianbo WANG Feng LI Zhihui 2011Rare Metals2011,30,4:4
12Elevated temperature endurance and creep properties of extruded 2D70 Al alloy rods显示文摘The elevated temperature performances of 2D70 Al alloy hot extrusion rods after two-stage homogenization and intensive deformation were studied by measuring the elevated temperature enduring strength and the creep ultimate strength. The fracture morphology of some selected samples after testing at different elevated temperatures was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicate that, as the test temperature increases, the elevated temperature enduring strength of 2D70 Al alloy decreases gradually. In a comparison between 150 C and 240 C, the notch enduring strength drops from 375 to 185 MPa and the smooth enduring strength drops from 337 to 130 MPa. Enduring strength is not sensitive to the notch. The notch sensitivity ratio (NSR) coefficient is in the range of 1.119 to 1.423 from 150 C to 240 C. 13Seasonal variations of dust record in the Muztagata ice cores显示文摘Based on the oxygen isotope ratio and microparticle record in ice cores recovered at Mt. Muztagata, Eastern Pamirs, the seasonal variations of atmospheric dust have been reconstructed for the past four decades. High dust concentrations and coarser particle grains have the similar trend with oxygen iso- tope value. Our statistical results indicate that 50%―60% high dust concentration samples occur dur- ing the season with high oxygen isotope values (summer), while low dust storm frequency during spring and winter. Back-trajectory analysis shows that the air mass hitting Muztagata predominately came from West Asia (such as Iran-Afghanistan Plateau) and Central Asia, which are the main dust source area for Muztagata. Dust storms in those source areas most frequently occur during summer (from May to August), while frequent dust storm events in northern China mainly occur during spring (March to May). Regions in the path of Asian dust transport, such as in Japan, the North Pacific, and Greenland, also show high dust concentrations during spring (from March to May). 15Effect of heat treatment on microstructures and properties of a novel Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy for oil drilling显示文摘In view of the special requirements for strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy for oil drilling, the Al-6.2 Zn-2.5 Mg-1.6 Cu alloy was prepared by increasing Cu content on basis of Russian Series 1953 alloy. The effect of heat treatment on the microstructures and properties of the alloy was characterized by optical microscope(OM), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM), and investigated by tensile test at room temperature, thermal exposure test and corrosion test. The results show that the strength after T6 aging treatment exhibit a decrease trend as an increase of the solution temperature from465 ℃ to 480 ℃. After the solution treated by the rate of 470 ℃/1 h, second phases dissolve into the matrix very well and the strength property reaches optimum. The alloy has better comprehensive properties treated by a solution treatment of 470 ℃/1 h and then followed by an aging treatment of 120 ℃/24 h + 170 ℃/1 h + 120 ℃/24 h. Under the aging state, the precipitated phases inside the grains are suitable in size, while on the grain boundary distribute discontinuously and the precipitate-free zone is obvious. Besides, the alloy still maintain high tensile properties. The yield strength, tensile strength and elongation are 650 MPa, 686 MPa,12.0%, respectively. The yield strength retention after heat exposure is 92%. The alloy has good corrosion resistance and the exfoliation corrosion degree. The average corrosion rate in the H2S and CO2 environment is 0.0024 mm/a, which is far less than the required 0.12 mm/a. 20MEASUREMENT OF ANGULAR VIBRATION AMPLITUDE BY ACTIVELY BLURRED IMAGES显示文摘A novel motion-blur-based method for measuring the angular amplitude of a high-frequency rotational vibration is schemed. The proposed approach combines the active vision concept and the mechanism of motion-from-blur, generates motion blur on the image plane actively by extending exposure time, and utilizes the motion blur information in polar images to estimate the angular amplitude of a high-frequency rotational vibration. This method obtains the analytical results of the angular vibration amplitude from the geometric moments of a motion blurred polar image and an unblurred image for reference.
