3Dual-ionic imidazolium salts to promote synthesis of cyclic carbonates at atmospheric pressure显示文摘Novel dual-ionic imidazolium salts are shown to display excellent catalytic activity for cycloaddition of carbon dioxide and epoxides under room temperature and atmospheric pressure(0.1 MPa)without any solvent and co-catalyst leading to 96.1%product yield.It can be reused five times to keep the product yield over 90%.These intriguing results are attributed to a new reaction mechanism,which is supported by theoretical calculations along with the measurements of ^(13)C NMR spectrum and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR).The excellent catalytic activity can be traced to a CO_(2)-philic group along with an electrophilic hydrogen atom.Our work shows that incorporation of CO_(2)-philic group is an feasible pathway to develop the new efficient ionic liquids.Tengfei Wang Danning Zheng Beibei An Yi Liu Tiegang Ren HansÅgren Li Wang Jinglai Zhang Mårten S.G.Ahlquist 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,6:1
4Effects of Shengmai Yin(生脉饮)on pulmonary and cardiac function in coronavirus disease 2019 convalescent patients with cardiopulmonary symptoms:a randomized,double blind,multicenter control trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Shengmai Yin(生脉饮,SMY)on visual analogue scale(VAS)for cardiopulmonary symptoms in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)convalescent patients.METHODS:In this randomized,double blind and multicenter controlled trial,a total of 200 COVID-19 convalescent patients who with cardiopulmonary symptoms were enrolled from three medical centers in Hubei,China.These patients were randomized divided into trial group and the control group,100 patients in each one,SMY and its placebo were applied to respectively,for two weeks.VAS of clinical symptoms included shortness of breath,hidrosis,chest distress,palpitation,and dry cough was performed at 0,1,2 weeks.Decrease in VAS of 30%or more was defined as effective,and a reduction in VAS of 0 was defined as curative.RESULTS:A total of 192 completed the study.The VAS of TCM symptoms showed there was no difference in baseline between the two groups.The VAS in both groups was down-regulated,and there was no significant difference in VAS and cure rates at the first and second week between the two groups.There was no significant difference in breath,hidrosis,palpitation,and dry cough between the two groups but SMY treatment for two weeks has remarkable therapeutic effects in chest distress than placebo.CONCLUSIONS:SMY could effectively ameliorate the symptoms of chest distress,and improve the quality of life of the COVID-19 convalescent patients.AN Xuedong MAO Lina XIA Ping SU Wen WANG Beibei KOU Leiya ZHANG Zequan QI Meng HU Song CHEN Jing LI Xiujuan LIU Jinwei ZHOU Juan QIAO Jie LUO Dan LUO Guangwei YAN Youqin YANG Guiping DONG Dandan ZHOU Wei TAO Junxiu JIN De TONG Xiaolin WEI Li 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:1

6ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/BiVO_(4)Z-scheme heterojunction for efficient visible-light photocatalytic degradation of ciprofloxacin显示文摘A novel Z-scheme ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/BiVO_(4)heterojunction photocatalyst was successfully synthesized using a convenient solvothermal method and applied in the visible light photocatalytic degradation of ciprofloxacin,which is a typical antibiotic contaminant in wastewater.The heterostructure of as-synthesized catalysts was confirmed using X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy characterizations.Compared with the singlephase counterparts,ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/BiVO_(4)demonstrated considerably enhanced photogenerated charge separation efficiencies because of the Z-scheme transfer mechanism of electrons between the composite photocatalysts.Consequently,the 30%ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/BiVO_(4)catalyst afforded a degradation rate of up to 97%of 20 mg/L ciprofloxacin under 30 min of visible light irradiation with a total organic carbon removal rate of 50%,which is an excellent activity compared with ever reported BiVO_(4)-based catalysts.In addition,the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and quantitative structure-activity relationships model analyses demonstrated that the toxicity of the intermediates was lower than that of the parent ciprofloxacin.Moreover,the as-synthesized ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/BiVO_(4)heterojunctions were quite stable and could be reused at least four times.This study thus provides a promising Z-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst for the efficient removal and detoxication of antibiotic pollutants from wastewater.Beibei Wang Kejiang Qian Weiping Yang Wenjing An Lan-Lan Lou Shuangxi Liu Kai Yu 2023Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,11:0
7Interactions of phenol and benzaldehyde in electrocatalytic upgrading process显示文摘Biomass pyrolysis oil can be improved effectively by electrocatalytic hydrogenation(ECH).However,the unclear interactions among different components lead to low bio-oil upgrading efficiency in the conversion process.Herein,benzaldehyde and phenol,as common compounds in bio-oil,were chosen as model compounds.The interactions between the two components were explored in the ECH process by combining experiments and theoretical calculations.Results showed that phenol could accelerate the conversion of benzaldehyde in the ECH.The selectivity of benzyl alcohol was increased from 60.9%of unadded phenol to 99.1%with 30 mmol/L phenol concentration at 5 h.Benzaldehyde inhibited the ECH of phenol.In the presence of benzaldehyde,the conversion rate of phenol was below 10.0%with no cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol formation at 5 h.The density functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that the phenol could promote the adsorption of benzaldehyde and facilitate the targeted conversion of benzaldehyde on the active site by lowering the reaction energy barrier.The research on the interaction between phenol and benzaldehyde in the ECH provides a theoretical basis for the application of ECH in practical bio-oil upgrading.Lan Liang Chuanbin Wang Xukai Lu Yunan Sun Beibei Yan Ning Li Guanyi Chen Li'an Hou 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,2:0
8A strategy based on water soluble coal tar pitches to construct MnO_(2)@C composite materials with high electrochemical performance显示文摘The water soluble coal tar pitches(WS-CTPs)were successfully prepared and used to construct the MnO_(2)@C composite materials by a hydrothermal method.It is interestingly observed that the structures and morphologies of MnO_(2)@C materials can be controlled by controlling the dosages of WS-CTPs and KMnO4.Meanwhile,it is aware that MnO_(2)exists in the MnO_(2)@C materials in an amorphous state.Compared with MnO_(2),MnO_(2)@C materials output a remarkable improvement in electrochemical performance.For instance,MnO_(2)@C-0.3 shows the storage capacity at 965.7 mA h g^(−1)after 300 cycles at a current density of 0.1 A g^(−1).In addition,after 600 cycles at a current density of 1.0 A g^(−1),the storage capacity of MnO_(2)@C-0.3 still keeps 450.3 mA h g^(−1),indicating that MnO_(2)@C-0.3 owns tremendous cycle stability at a high current density.In view of the fact that the coal tar pitches possess great cost advantages,the strategy of using WS-CTPs as a carbon source to cover the metal oxides is a competitive way to expand the application of metal oxides in the fabrication of electrodes of LIBs.LIU Bo WANG Kun GUO ZhaoQi HAN BeiBei XU GuiYing JU DongYing AN BaiGang LI YongCheng NI ZhenYong ZHOU WeiMin 2024Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,1:0
