2Changing Connectivities of Chinese Cities in the World City Network,2010–2016显示文摘Against the backdrop of the sizable economic growth of China in recent years, this paper uses the most recent data gathering of the Globalization and World Cities(Ga WC) research network to update and supplement earlier research on the shifting global connectivity of Chinese cities. The update consists of an evaluation of the connectivity of Chinese cities in 2016, the supplement of an analysis of the changing position of Chinese cities in the world city network between 2010 and 2016. To this end, we build on a specification of the world city network as an ‘interlocking network' in which producer services firms play the crucial role in city network formation. Information about the presence of leading producer services firms in cities in 2010 and 2016 is used as the input to a bipartite network projection algorithm in order to measure cities' network connectivity. The first set of results discusses the geographies of urban connectivity in the world city network in 2016. The second set of results discusses standardized measures of change to reveal the major dimensions of the transformations between 2010 and 2016. We find that, with the exception of Hong Kong, Macao and Kaohsiung of Taiwan, all Chinese cities record connectivity gains. This wholesale rise in connectivity is nonetheless geographically uneven, with above all Beijing, Chengdu/Chongqing and Changsha/Wuhan becoming more connected. 3Mechanism of acupuncture regulating visceral sensation and mobility显示文摘Chinese ancient medical scientists have long focused on the internal and external contacts between acupoints on the surface of the body and the viscera.The Miraculous Pivot(it is one of the earliest medical classics in China)stated,“Twelve regular channels belong to the zang-fu organs internally,and connect to the extremities and joints externally.”Traditional Chinese medicine considers acupoints as defined areas where the Qi of viscera and meridians are transfused.These include the reaction points of visceral diseases on the body surface as well as the acupuncture trigger points that promote the flow of Qi and blood,and regulate visceral function.Chinese ancient medical scientists classified the specificity of the main acupoints in the body based on the meridian doctrine,which has been instructing clinical application for about 2000 years.Laws on the domino effect of acupoints have mainly focused on conclusions to clinical experiences.Indications of some acupoints exceed the practical paradigm since the excessive extension occurred during theory derivation.The current research direction on acupuncture focuses on three aspects:the effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion;the relevances and associations between meridians and viscera;and the physical and chemical properties and relevant physical basis of acupoints.The relevance between meridians and viscera is the central theory in the meridian doctrine,and acupoints are regarded as an important link in the relationship between meridians and viscera.Specific relationships between acupoints and target organs exist.Stimulating different acupoints on the body surface can help deal with different diseases,especially visceral diseases.In addition,acupoints have a dual function of reflecting and treating visceral diseases.There is no systemic research available on acupoint specificity,despite current knowledge and clinical experiences,which results in a weak foundation for acupuncture theory.This study focuses on the relevance and associations between meridians and viscera.A summary of the mechanisms of acupuncture regulating visceral sensation and mobility and the specific relationships between acupoints and their target organs are presented in this review.Peijing Rong Bing Zhu Yuqing Li Xinyan Gao Hui Ben Yanhua Li Liang Li Wei He Rupeng Liu Lingling Yu 2011Frontiers of Medicine2011,5,2:8

19Single Wall Carbon Nanotube Induced Inflammation in Cruor-Fibrinolysis System显示文摘Objective To study single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) and its role in inducing inflammatory cytokines in the cruor-fibrinolysis system of rat. Methods Twenty one Wistar rats were divided into four groups: 1) control; 2) low-dose SWCNT (0.15 mg/kg BW); 3) medium-dose SWCNT (0.75 mg/kg BW); 4) high-dose SWCNT (1.5 mg/kg BW). Intratracheal instillation of SWCNT suspensions was administered to rats once per day for 21 days. In order to assess the exposure effect of SWCNT to the rats, activity of Inflammatory cytokine was measured and markers of cruor-fibrinolysis system were studied via ELSIA. Also, change in clotting time was recorded and histopathology was studied. Results IL-6 and IL-8 concentrations of rats exposed to SWCNT were significantly higher than those in controls (P<0.05). The activity of inflammatory cytokines and histopathological change indicated that oxidative damage occurred. Change in clotting time in rats exposed to SWCNT decreased compared with controls. Meanwhile, t-PA (tissue-tupe plassminogen activator) and AT-Ⅲ (antithrombin-Ⅲ) levels in rats exposed to particulates increased or decreased significantly compared with controls (P<0.05). A similar trend was observed for D-dimer (D2D) levels, indicating that SWCNT can impact the cruor-fibrinolysis system ofrat. Conclusion The results from our study suggest that an increased procoagulant activity and reduced fibrinolytic activity in rats exposed to SWCNT can cause pulmonary oxidative stress and inflammation, due to the release of pro-thrombotic and inflammatory cytokines into the blood circulation of rat.TIAN Lei LIN Zhi Qing LIN Ben Cheng LIU Huan Liang YAN Jun XI Zhu Ge 2013Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013,26,5:1
