1NMR-based damage characterisation of backfill material in host rock under dynamic loading显示文摘It is not uncommon that backfill material used in underground mining being exposed to repetitive dynamic stresses induced by blasting operations or rockburst events. Understanding the strength and fracture evolution of backfilled stopes is critical to maintain the long-term stope stability and ensure safe mining activities. This paper aims to study the damage evolution of the backfill material and its host rock behaviour under three-dimensional(3D) dynamic loading. Using a true-triaxial testing machine, multiple samples of backfill material enclosed by country rock were fabricated and tested under various dynamic loadings with different true-triaxial confining stress conditions. In addition, the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) measurement was conducted on the samples before and after exerting static and dynamic loading to obtain their porosity distribution changes. The experiment results suggested that with the increase of the dynamic loading, the porosity of the backfill sample goes through a two-stage process,which shows a slightly linear decrease and then followed by an exponential increase. 2Isolation and characterization of a heat-resistant strain with high yield of Pyropia yezoensis Ueda(Bangiales,Rhodophyta)显示文摘A heat-resistant Pyropia yezoensis strain YZ-4 was isolated from the regenerated blades of single somatic cells of the wild-type(WT)blades treated with 60Co-g-irradiation.When cultured at 23C and 24C,the survival and division rates of the YZ-4 conchospores were significantly higher than those of WT(P<0.01).After 16 days in culture the survival rates of YZ-4 conchospores were 71.2%and 60.8%at 23C and 24C,respectively,and the division rates of the surviving conchospores were 100%in both cases.Under the same culture conditions,the survival rates of WT conchospores were only 16.9%and 11.5%,and the division rate 99.8%and 81.8%respectively.The resistance of 50-day-aged F1 gametophytic blades of YZ-4 to the temperature rebound was also significantly higher than those of WT(P<0.01).After 30 days in culture at 18C,23C and 24C,the mean blade length increased by 8.5,4.3 and 2.3 times in YZ-4 and was only 3,0.6 and 0.4 times in WT,respectively.The mean blade weight increased 191.9,85.4 and 66.2 times in YZ-4,but only 78.2,7.8 and 4.6 times in WT.On the 15th day WT blades began to decay,but no decay was observed in YZ-4 blades even after 45 days in culture at 23C and 24C.The results obtained indicate that YZ-4 has a higher resistance to higher temperature insults than WT and it might be of value for commercial production of P.yezoensis.Hongchang Ding Binglei Zhang Xinghong Yan 2016Aquaculture and Fisheries2016,1,1:5
3Review of condition monitoring and defect inspection methods for composited cable terminals显示文摘Composited cable terminals are critical for reliable power delivery of traditional and traction power supply systems.During its operation,the cable terminal continually undergoes complex circumstances where humidity,temperature,field strength,mechanical stress and other factors continuously change at different levels.In extreme cases,defects or even failures may occur in the cable terminals,leading to catastrophic accidents.This makes the condition monitoring and defect detection of composited cable terminals become an imperative need for the power industry.The“state-of-the-art”technology of cable terminal condition assessment is focussed and a systematic review of the current research progress of cable terminal condition assessment from the operation circumstances to failure mechanisms is provided.It covers both online/offline condition monitoring methods and defects detection approaches.In addition,challenges and future research directions for cable terminal condition assessment are also addressed.It is concluded that the non-destructive and non-intrusive methods like terahertz imaging and ultrasonic testing,and multi-source information fusion methods as well as the digital twin technology have been gaining popularity for cable terminal defect inspection.It is expected the presented work can provide a global field of vision for further advancement of both scholars and industrial engineers in this field.Shuaibing Li Binglei Cao Jin Li Yi Cui Yongqiang Kang Guangning Wu 2023High Voltage2023,8,3:4

14Quantitative assessment of the spatio-temporal correlations of seismic events induced by longwall coal mining显示文摘Rock failure process as a natural response to mining activities is associated with seismic events, which can pose a potential hazard to mine operators, equipment and infrastructures. Mining-induced seismicity has been found to be internally correlated in both time and space domains as a result of rock fracturing during progressive mining activities. Understanding the spatio-temporal(ST) correlation of mininginduced seismic events is an essential step to use seismic data for further analysis, such as rockburst prediction and caving assessment. However, there are no established methods to perform this critical task. Input parameters used for the prediction of seismic hazards, such as the time window of past data and effective prediction distance, are determined based on site-specific experience without statistical or physical reasons to support. Therefore, the accuracy of current seismic prediction methods is largely constrained, which can only be addressed by quantitively assessing the ST correlations of mininginduced seismicity. In this research, the ST correlation of seismic event energy collected from a study mine is quantitatively analysed using various statistical methods, including autocorrelation function(ACF), semivariogram and Moran’s I analysis. In addition, based on the integrated ST correlation assessment, seismic events are further classified into seven clusters, so as to assess the correlations within individual clusters. 15LDNet:structure-focused lane detection based on line deformation显示文摘Lane detection is a fundamental necessary task for autonomous driving.The conventional methods mainly treat lane detection as a pixel-wise segmentation problem,which suffers from the challenge of uncontrollable driving road environments and needs post-processing to abstract the lane parameters.In this work,a series of lines are used to represent traffic lanes and a novel line deformation network(LDNet) is proposed to directly predict the coordinates of lane line points.Inspired by the dynamic behavior of classic snake algorithms,LDNet uses a neural network to iteratively deform an initial lane line to match the lane markings.To capture the long and discontinuous structures of lane lines,1 D convolution in LDNet is used for structured feature learning along the lane lines.Based on LDNet,a two-stage pipeline is developed for lane marking detection:(1) initial lane line proposal to predict a list of lane line candidates,and(2) lane line deformation to obtain the coordinates of lane line points.Experiments show that the proposed approach achieves competitive performances on the TuSimple dataset while being efficient for real-time applications on a GTX 1650 GPU.In particular,the accuracy of LDNet with the annotated starting and ending points is up to99.45%,which indicates the improved initial lane line proposal method can further enhance the performance of LDNet.张军 WANG Xingbin GUO Binglei 2022High Technology Letters2022,28,3:0
