1Metallogenetic epoch and mechanism of the tungsten ore in Yushan, Beishan orogenic belt, Gansu显示文摘Using SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating methods and cathodoluminescence (CL) technique, we have pre- cisely dated ore samples from tungsten ore deposit, ore-bearing volcanic-sedimentary strata and granite in the Yushan region within the east Tianshan-Beishan W-bearing zone. This study reveals Yu- shan tungsten ore deposit zone formed in 250 ± 9 Ma, and it is closely associated with the Permian granites and felsic volcanic rocks. This new type of tungsten ore deposit in the east Tianshan-Beishang multiple-metallogenetic province may probably be associated with the regionally right-literal shearing after the main Carboniferous collisional orogeny, and the formation of pull-apart basin and the felsic magmatism.ZHANG XinHu SU Li CUI XueJun DING ShuHong ZHANG JianGuo CHEN Li 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,8:4

6Quantum receiver enhanced by adaptive learning显示文摘Quantum receivers aim to effectively navigate the vast quantum-state space to endow quantum information processing capabilities unmatched by classical receivers.To date,only a handful of quantum receivers have been constructed to tackle the problem of discriminating coherent states.Quantum receivers designed by analytical approaches,however,are incapable of effectively adapting to diverse environmental conditions,resulting in their quickly diminishing performance as the operational complexities increase.Here,we present a general architecture,dubbed the quantum receiver enhanced by adaptive learning,to adapt quantum receiver structures to diverse operational conditions.The adaptively learned quantum receiver is experimentally implemented in a hardware platform with record-high efficiency.Combining the architecture and the experimental advances,the error rate is reduced up to 40%over the standard quantum limit in two coherent-state encoding schemes.Chaohan Cui William Horrocks Shuhong Hao Saikat Guha Nasser Peyghambarian Quntao Zhuang Zheshen Zhang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12:0

9Durable semi-crystalline interphase engineering to stabilize high voltage Ni-rich cathode in dilute ether electrolyte显示文摘Ethers are promising electrolyte solvents for secondary Li metal batteries because of their excellent reduction stability.However,their oxidation stability has been mostly relying on the high concentration approach,and limited progress has been made on building effective interphase to protect the cathode from the corrosion of the electrolyte.In this work,we construct a semi-crystalline interfacial layer on the surface of Li(Ni_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1))O_(2)cathode that can achieve improved electrochemical stability in the highly corrosive chemical environment formed by the decomposition of ether molecules.Different from traditional brittle crystalline interphases,the optimized semi-crystalline layer with low modulus and high ionic conductivity can effectively relieve electrode strain and maintain the integrity of the interface layer.Due to this design,the continuous oxidation decomposition of ether-based electrolytes could be significantly suppressed and the battery shows outstanding cycling stability(84%capacity retention after 300 cycles).This article provides a solution to address the oxidation instability issue of ether-based electrolytes.Zhuangzhuang Cui Shunqiang Chen Qingshun Nian Yecheng Li Yawei Chen Bing-Qing Xiong Zihong Wang Zixu He Shuhong Jiao Xiaodi Ren 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
10Transcription factor ETV4 promotes the development of hepatocellular carcinoma by driving hepatic TNF-αsignaling显示文摘Background Hepatic inflammation is the major risk factor of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,the underlying mechanism by which hepatic inflammation progresses to HCC is poorly understood.This study was designed to investigate the role of ETS translocation variant 4(ETV4)in linking hepatic inflammation to HCC.Methods Quantitative real-time PCR and immunoblotting were used to detect the expression of ETV4 in HCC tissues and cell lines.RNA sequencing and luciferase reporter assays were performed to identify the target genes of ETV4.Hepatocyte-specific ETV4-knockout(ETV4fl/fl,alb-cre)and transgenic(ETV4Hep-TG)mice and diethylnitrosamine-carbon tetrachloride(DEN-CCL4)treatment experiments were applied to investigate the function of ETV4 in vivo.The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database mining and pathological analysis were carried out to determine the correlation of ETV4 with tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and mitogen-activated protein kinase 11(MAPK11).Results We revealed that ETV4 was highly expressed in HCC.High levels of ETV4 predicted a poor survival rate of HCC patients.Then we identified ETV4 as a transcription activator of TNF-αand MAPK11.ETV4 was positively correlated with TNF-αand MAPK11 in HCC patients.As expected,an increase in hepatic TNF-αsecretion and macrophage accumulation were observed in the livers of ETV4Hep-TG mice.The protein levels of TNF-α,MAPK11,and CD68 were significantly higher in the livers of ETV4Hep-TG mice compared with wild type mice but lower in ETV4fl/fl,alb-cre mice compared with ETV4fl/fl mice as treated with DEN-CCL4,indicating that ETV4 functioned as a driver of TNF-α/MAPK11 expression and macrophage accumulation during hepatic inflammation.Hepatocyte-specific knockout of ETV4 significantly prevented development of DEN-CCL4-induced HCC,while transgenic expression of ETV4 promoted growth of HCC.Conclusions ETV4 promoted hepatic inflammation and HCC by activating transcription of TNF-αand MAPK11.Both the ETV4/TNF-αand ETV4/MAPK11 axes represented two potential therapeutic targets for highly associated hepatic inflammation and HCC.ETV4+TNF-αwere potential prognostic markers for HCC patients.Dandan Qi Min Lu Pengfei Xu Xinli Yao Yongchen Chen Lipeng Gan Yong Li Yahua Cui Xiaomei Tong Shuhong Liu Jingmin Zhao Ningning Liu Xin Ye 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,12:0

13Effects of angiotensin-Ⅱ receptor blockers on β-catenin expression in a rat model of experimental streptozotocin-induced early-stage of diabetic nephropathy显示文摘Objective: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the most common causes of end-stage renal failure. The pathogenesis of progressive renal injury is multifactorial and the mechanism by which hyperglycemia causes microangiopathy is still poorly understood. The WNT pathway is activated in DN and regulating β-catenin protein levels is referred to as the canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Because the renin angiotensin system has been reported to be an important contributory factor in the pathophysiology of DN, exogenous administration of angiotensin II receptor antagonist may be beneficial in counteracting some biochemical or functional changes of DN. The aim of the study was to determine the β-catenin expression and the possible protective effects of irbesartan, an angiotensin II type 1 receptor blocker (ARB) in a rat model of streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic nephropathy. Methods: STZ-induced DN in rats was assessed biochemically by measuring urine volume, protein and creatinine clearance as well as Kidney weight/body weight (KW/BW) and the index of mesangial expansion. Three groups of male Sprague-dawley rats were used. The ?rst group consisted of non-diabetic control rats (control). The second group was the untreated diabetic rats(STZ+vehicle). The third group consisted of diabeti rats treated with irbesartan, 50 mg/kg for 12 weeks (STZ+irbesartan). Immunohistochemical stainings and real time PCR for β-catenin were performed in renal cortex of rat modals. Results: Marked hyperglycemia, polyuria, proteinuria, renal hypertrophy, mesangial matrix expansion and glomerular hyper?ltration were observed in STZ diabetic rats. The levels of microalbuminuria and KW/BW in the STZ+irbesartan group were lower than those in the STZ+vehicle group (P<0.05). The up-regulated immunostaining and mRNA expression of β-catenin were decreased in renal cortic of the Irbesartan-treated diabetic group, but there was no significant difference compared to the untreated diabetic group.
