| 1 | MiR-146a-5p targeting SMAD4 and TRAF6 inhibits adipogenensis through TGF-β and AKT/mTORC1 signal pathways in porcine intramuscular preadipocytes显示文摘Background: Intramuscular fat(IMF) content is a vital parameter for assessing pork quality. Increasing evidence has shown that microRNAs(miRNAs) play an important role in regulating porcine IMF deposition. Here, a novel miRNA implicated in porcine IMF adipogenesis was found, and its effect and regulatory mechanism were further explored with respect to intramuscular preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation.Results: By porcine adipose tissue miRNA sequencing analysis, we found that miR-146a-5p is a potential regulator of porcine IMF adipogenesis. Further studies showed that miR-146a-5p mimics inhibited porcine intramuscular preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation, while the miR-146a-5p inhibitor promoted cell proliferation and adipogenic differentiation. Mechanistically, miR-146a-5p suppressed cell proliferation by directly targeting SMAD family member 4(SMAD4) to attenuate TGF-β signaling. Moreover, miR-146a-5p inhibited the differentiation of intramuscular preadipocytes by targeting TNF receptor-associated factor 6(TRAF6) to weaken the AKT/mTORC1 signaling downstream of the TRAF6 pathway.Conclusions: MiR-146a-5p targets SMAD4 and TRAF6 to inhibit porcine intramuscular adipogenesis by attenuating TGF-β and AKT/mTORC1 signaling, respectively. | 2 | Graph Regularized L_p Smooth Non-negative Matrix Factorization for Data Representation显示文摘This paper proposes a Graph regularized Lpsmooth non-negative matrix factorization(GSNMF) method by incorporating graph regularization and L_p smoothing constraint, which considers the intrinsic geometric information of a data set and produces smooth and stable solutions. The main contributions are as follows: first, graph regularization is added into NMF to discover the hidden semantics and simultaneously respect the intrinsic geometric structure information of a data set. Second,the Lpsmoothing constraint is incorporated into NMF to combine the merits of isotropic(L_2-norm) and anisotropic(L_1-norm)diffusion smoothing, and produces a smooth and more accurate solution to the optimization problem. Finally, the update rules and proof of convergence of GSNMF are given. | 3 | Convolution without multiplication:A general speed up strategy for CNNs显示文摘Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)have achieved great success in many computer vision tasks.However,it is difficult to deploy CNN models on low-cost devices with limited power budgets,because most existing CNN models are computationally expensive.Therefore,CNN model compression and acceleration have become a hot research topic in the deep learning area.Typical schemes for speeding up the feed-forward process with a slight accuracy loss include parameter pruning and sharing,low-rank factorization,compact convolutional filters and knowledge distillation.In this study,we propose a general acceleration scheme that replaces the floating-point multiplication with integer addition.To this end,we propose a general accelerate scheme,where the floating point multiplication is replaced by integer addition.The motivation is based on the fact that every floating point can be replaced by the summation of an exponential series.Therefore,the multiplication between two floating points can be converted to the addition among exponentials.In the experiment section,we directly apply the proposed scheme to AlexNet,VGG,ResNet for image classification,and Faster-RCNN for object detection.The results acquired from ImageNet and PASCAL VOC show that the proposed quantized scheme has a promising performance,even with only one item of exponential.Moreover,we analyzed the eciency of our method on mainstream FPGAs.The experimental results show that the proposed quantized scheme can achieve acceleration on FPGA with a slight accuracy loss. | CAI GuoRong YANG ShengMing DU Jing WANG ZongYue HUANG Bin GUAN Yin SU SongJian SU JinHe SU SongZhi | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,12: | 5 |

| 7 | A variable differential consensus method for improving the quantitative near-infrared spectroscopic analysis显示文摘Consensus methods have presented promising tools for improving the reliability of quantitative models in near-infrared(NIR) spectroscopic analysis.A strategy for improving the performance of consensus methods in multivariate calibration of NIR spectra is proposed.In the approach,a subset of non-collinear variables is generated using successive projections algorithm(SPA) for each variable in the reduced spectra by uninformative variables elimination(UVE).Then sub-models are built using the variable subsets and the calibration subsets determined by Monte Carlo(MC) re-sampling,and the sub-model that produces minimal error in cross validation is selected as a member model.With repetition of the MC re-sampling,a series of member models are built and a consensus model is achieved by averaging all the member models.Since member models are built with the best variable subset and the randomly selected calibration subset,both the quality and the diversity of the member models are insured for the consensus model.Two NIR spectral datasets of tobacco lamina are used to investigate the proposed method.The superiority of the method in both accuracy and reliability is demonstrated. | DU GuoRong CAI WenSheng SHAO XueGuang | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,9: | 1 |
| 8 | Thiophene-based covalent organic frameworks for highly efficient iodine capture显示文摘Development of adsorbent materials for highly efficient iodine capture is high demand from the perspective of ecological environment and human health. Herein, the two kinds of thiophene-based covalent organic frameworks(COFs) with different morphologies were synthesized by solvothermal reaction using thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-2,5-dicarbaldehyde(TT) as the aldehyde monomer and tri(4-aminophenyl)benzene(PB) or tris(4-aminophenyl)amine(PA) as the amino monomer(denoted as PB-TT COF and PA-TT COF) and the as-prepared two heteroatoms-rich COFs possessed many excellent properties,including high thermal stability and abundant binding sites. Among them, PB-TT COF exhibited ultra-high iodine uptake up to 5.97 g/g in vapor, surpassing most of adsorbents previously reported, which was ascribed to its high specific surface(1305.3 m2/g). Interestingly, PA-TT COF with low specific surface(48.6m2/g) showed good adsorption ability for iodine in cyclohexane solution with uptake value of 750 mg/g,which was 2.38 times higher than that obtained with PB-TT COF due to its unique sheet-like morphology.Besides, the two COFs possessed good reusability, high selectivity and iodine retention ability. Based on experimental results, the adsorption mechanisms of both COFs were studied, revealing that iodine was captured by the physical-chemical adsorption. | 10 | A chemometric method to identify selective ion for resolution of overlapping gas chromatography-mass spectrometry signal显示文摘A chemometric method to determine selective ion by using non-negative immune algorithm (NNIA) was proposed. In the method, the mutual projections of the chromatographic profiles at different m/z channel are calculated using NNIA. Suppose a GC-MS data with m retention time points and n mass channels, the projections of the GC-MS data onto a chromatographic profile at a mass channel will form a mass spectrum of 1 n vector. If the chromatographic profile at a selective mass channel is used, the extracted mass spectrum will be a correct one. Therefore, by comparing the extracted mass spectrum with a reference spectrum, the selective ion can be identified, and the corresponding chromatographic profile can be obtained at the same time. GC-MS data of 40-pesticide mixture was investigated by the method.
