2Microstructural evolution and growth kinetics of thermally grown oxides in plasma sprayed thermal barrier coatings显示文摘The formation of thermally grown oxide(TGO) during high temperature is a key factor to the degradation of thermal barrier coatings(TBCs)applied on hot section components. In the present study both the Co Ni Cr Al Y bond coat and Zr O_2-8 wt.% Y_2O_3(8YSZ) ceramic coat of TBCs were prepared by air plasma spraying(APS). The composition and microstructure of TGO in TBCs were investigated using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis. The growth rate of TGO for TBC and pure BC were gained after isothermal oxidation at 1100 °C for various times. The results showed that as-sprayed bond coat consisted of β and γ/γ'phases,β phase reducesd as the oxidation time increased. The TGO comprised α-Al_2O_3 formed in the first 2 h. Co O, Ni O, Cr_2O_3 and spinel oxides appeared after 20 h of oxidation. Contents of Co O and Ni O reduced while that of Cr_2O_3 and spinel oxides increased in the later oxidation stage.The TGO eventually consisted of a sub-Al2O3 layer with columnar microstructure and the upper porous CS clusters. 5Damage evolution and failure mechanism of thermal barrier coatings under Vickers indentation by using acoustic emission technique显示文摘Acoustic emission(AE) technique was adopted to monitor the damage evolution of air plasma-sprayed(APS) yttria-partially-stabilized zirconia(YSZ) thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) during instrumented indentation testing, and then the failure mechanisms were investigated by cluster analysis and wavelet transform methods.The results of cluster analysis showed that there were three classes associated with distinct failure types for the 8YSZ coatings under Vickers indentation. Based on wavelet transform, these three clusters could be clearly distinguished from their dominant frequency bands, which were concentrated on levels A5(0–156.25 kHz), D5(156.25–312.5 kHz) and D4(312.5–625 kHz), respectively. Thus, the failure mechanism of 8YSZ coatings under Vickers indentation could be clarified by the distribution of different failure types in indentation depth. To sum up, as indentation load increases, the 8YSZ coatings can accommodate the indenter by elastic or little plastic deformation, microcracks propagation and then debonding at the splat boundaries. By comparing the distribution of AE signals induced by different failure types in indentation depth for samples with different thermal exposure time, it can be inferred that thermal exposure treatment can accelerate the degradation of APS 8YSZ TBCs.Caicai Li Xing Qiao Teng Wang Weixiang Weng Qiang Li 2018Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2018,28,1:1

12Perturbation of clopyralid on bio-denitrification and nitrite accumulation:Long-term performance and biological mechanism显示文摘The contaminant of herbicide clopyralid(3,6-dichloro-2-pyridine-carboxylic acid,CLP)poses a potential threat to the ecological system.However,there is a general lack of research devoted to the perturbation of CLP to the bio-denitrification process,and its biological response mechanism remains unclear.Herein,long-term exposure to CLP was systematically investigated to explore its influences on denitrification performance and dynamic microbial responses.Results showed that low-concentration of CLP(<15 mg/L)caused severe nitrite accumulation initially,while higher concentrations(35e60 mg/L)of CLP had no further effect after long-term acclimation.The mechanistic study demonstrated that CLP reduced nitrite reductase(NIR)activity and inhibited metabolic activity(carbon metabolism and nitrogen metabolism)by causing oxidative stress and membrane damage,resulting in nitrite accumulation.However,after more than 80 days of acclimation,almost no nitrite accumulation was found at 60 mg/L CLP.It was proposed that the secretion of extracellular polymeric substances(EPS)increased from 75.03 mg/g VSS at 15 mg/L CLP to 109.97 mg/g VSS at 60 mg/L CLP,which strengthened the protection of microbial cells and improved NIR activity and metabolic activities.Additionally,the biodiversity and richness of the microbial community experienced a U-shaped process.The relative abundance of denitrification-and carbon metabolism-associated microorganisms decreased initially and then recovered with the enrichment of microorganisms related to the secretion of EPS and N-acyl-homoserine lactones(AHLs).These microorganisms protected microbe from toxic substances and regulated their interactions among interand intra-species.This study revealed the biological response mechanism of denitrification after successive exposure to CLP and provided proper guidance for analyzing and treating herbicide-containing wastewater.Suyun Sun Ya-Nan Hou Wei Wei Hafiz Muhammad Adeel Sharif Cong Huang Bing-Jie Ni Haibo Li Yuanyuan Song Caicai Lu Yi Han Jianbo Guo 2022Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2022,,1:0

14A biomimetic-structured wood-derived carbon sponge with highly compressible and biocompatible properties for human-motion detection显示文摘Piezoresistive sensors,as an indispensable part of electronic and intelligent wearable devices,are often hindered by nonrenewable resources(graphene,conventional metal,or silicon).Biomass-derived carbonaceous materials boast many advantages such as their light weight,renewability,and excellent chemical stabilization.However,a major challenge is that the strength and resilience of carbon-based piezoresistive materials still falls short of requirements due to their random microarchitectures which cannot provide sufficiently good stress distribution.Encouraged by the excellent compressible properties and extraordinary strength of the Thalia dealbata stem,we propose a wood biomassderived carbon piezoresistive sensor with an artificial interconnected lamellar structure like the stem itself.By introducing a freezing-induced assembly process,a wood-based,completely delignified,nano-lignocellulose material can be built into a“bridges supported lamellar”type architecture,where subsequent freeze-drying and pyrolysis results in carbon aerogel monoliths.The resultant bioinspired carbon sponge has high compressibility and strength,of the order of two to five times higher than that of conventional metal,carbon,and organic materials.Combined with excellent biocompatible properties and chemical durability,these are useful properties for intelligent wearable devices and human-motion detection.Yipeng Chen Lintong Hu Caicai Li Baokang Dang Qingfeng Sun Tianyou Zhai Huiqiao Li 2020InfoMat2020,2,6:0
