Chitosan-mediated synthesis of mesoporous α-Fe_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles and their applications in catalyzing selective oxidation of cyclohexane显示文摘This paper reports the chitosan-mediated synthesis of porous hematite nanoparticles with FeCl3 as the precursor via a hydrothermal approach at 160℃.A series of porous chitosan/iron oxide hybrid nanoparticles were obtained via changing the ratio of chitosan to FeCl3,FeCl3 concentration and pH value of the reaction solution, and producing porous iron oxide nanoparticles after calcination. The as-prepared samples were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis,Fourier transform infrared, and N2 sorption. The particle sizes of these metal oxides were less than 100 nm,and the pore sizes were in the range of 2-16 nm.It was demonstrated that chitosan played a key role in the formation of the porous structures. The resultant α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles were used as the support to immobilize Au or Pd nanoparticles, producing Au/α-Fe2O3 or Pd/α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles. The as-prepared α-Fe2O3 nanocatalyst exhibited high selectivity towards cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol for catalyzing cyclohexane oxidation with O2 at 150℃. | HUANG ChangLiang ZHANG HongYe SUN ZhenYu LIU ZhiMin | 2010 | Science China Chemistry2010,53,7: | 4
A new method for quick predicting the strength of intermolecular hydrogen bonds显示文摘A new method is proposed to quick predict the strength of intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The method is employed to produce the hydrogen-bonding potential energy curves of twenty-nine hydro-gen-bonded dimers. The calculation results show that the hydrogen-bonding potential energy curves obtained from this method are in good agreement with those obtained from MP2/6-31+G calculations by including the BSSE correction, which demonstrate that the method proposed in this work can be used to calculate the hydrogen-bonding interactions in peptides. | SUN ChangLiang ZHANG Yan JIANG XiaoNan WANG ChangSheng YANG ZhongZhi | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,2: | 2
Olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions of COVID-19 patients in China:A multicenter study显示文摘Introduction:With the spread of the epidemic worldwide,an increasing number of doctors abroad have observed the following atypical symptoms of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19):olfactory or taste disorders. Therefore, clarifying the incidence and clinical characteristics of olfactory and taste disorders in Chinese COVID-19 patients is of great significance and urgency.Materials and Methods:A retrospective study was conducted, which included 229 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 confirmed patients, through face-to-face interviews and telephone follow-up.Following the completion of questionnaires, the patients participating in the study, were categorized according to the degree of olfactory and taste disorders experienced, and the proportion of each clinical type of patient with olfactory and taste disorders and the time when symptoms appeared were recorded. Results:Among the 229 patients,31(13.54%)had olfactory dysfunction, and 44(19.21%)had gustatory dysfunction. For the patients with olfactory dysfunction,6(19.35%)developed severe disease and became critically ill.Olfactory dysfunction appeared before the other symptoms in 21.43%of cases. The proportion of females with olfactory and gustatory dysfunction was higher than that of males(P<0.001).Conclusions:The incidence of olfactory and gustatory dysfunction was much lower than that reported abroad;the prognosis of patients with olfactory dysfunction is relatively favorable;olfactory and gustatory dysfunction can be used as a sign for early screening;females are more prone to olfactory and gustatory dysfunction. | Jianhui Li Yi Sun Enqiang Qin Hu Yuan Mingbo Liu Wenqi Yi Zhu Chen Chengcheng Huang Fengjie Zhou Ruiyao Chen Leibo Zhang Ning Yu Qiong Liu Xuejun Zhou Jingjing He Boyu Li Fusheng Wang Changliang Yang Shiming Yang | 2022 | World Journal of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery2022,8,4: | 2
Theoretical studies on the binding energy of β-sheet models显示文摘In this paper,B3LYP and MP2 methods are used to investigate the binding energy of seventeen antiparallel and parallel β-sheet models. The results indicate that the binding energy obtained from B3LYP calculations is weaker than that obtained from MP2 calculations but the relative binding energy yielded by B3LYP is almost the same as that by MP2. For the antiparallel β-sheets in which two N―H···O═C hydrogen bonds can form either a large hydrogen-bonded ring or a small hydrogen-bonded ring, the binding energy increases obviously when one large ring unit is added, whereas it only changes slightly when one small ring unit is added because of the secondary electrostatic repulsive interaction existing in the small ring unit which is estimated to be about 20 kJ/mol. For the parallel β-sheet models, the binding energy increases almost exactly linearly with the increase of the chain length. | SUN ChangLiang WANG ChangSheng | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,12: | 2
Synthesis of aza-BODIPY dyes bearing the naphthyl groups at 1,7-positions and application for singlet oxygen generation显示文摘Using 2-vinylnaphthalene,aza-BODIPYs with the naphthyl groups at 1,7-positions were prepared and their photophysical properties were characterized.Due to attachment of the naphthyl groups at1,7-positions,aza-BODIPYs show long-wavelength absorption and emission in the near-infrared region. The singlet oxygen generation of the dibromo substituted aza-BODIPY with the naphthyl groups at1,7-positions as a photosensitizer was more effective than that of the corresponding aza-BODIPY with the phenyl groups at 1,7-positions.No photobleaching of the naphthyl-containing aza-BODIPY was observed and such NIR aza-BODIPY could be used for the singlet oxygen generation. | Xindong Jiang Tingjiang Zhang Changliang Sun Yanqiu Meng Linjiu Xiao | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,5: | 2
Cloning and sequence analysis of β-actin gene from Aedes albopictus (Diptera: Culicidae)显示文摘Objective: To obtain the complete β-actin gene from Aedes albopictus. Methods: Total RNA was extracted from C6/36 cells. Degenerate primers were designed based on the β-actin sequences of An. gambiae, Ae. aegypti, Cx. pipiens pallens and D. melanogaster. By RT-PCR, the product was amplified, purified, cloned into the pGT vector and sequenced. The β-actin sequence was aligned and phylogenetically analyzed by the BLAST program and the CLUSTAL W program. Results: A sequence of 1132 bp including an open reading frame of 1131 bp was obtained(GenBank DQ657949). The deduced protein had 376 amino acids. Aligned to SWISS-PROT, it exhibited a high level of identity with β-actins from Anopheles, Drosophila and Culex at the amino acid sequence level. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that Ae. albopictus β-actin was much more homologous with invertebrate β-actin than with vertebrate β-actin. Conclusion: The gene may be used as the internal control in the experiments of Ae. albopictus. | Weijie Wang Xiaobang Hu Donghui Zhang Jianhua Jiao Yan Sun Lei M' Changliang Zhu | 2007 | Journal of Nanjing Medical University2007,21,2: | 1
Controllable synthesis of titania/reduced graphite oxide nanocomposites with various titania phase compositions and their photocatalytic performance显示文摘A facile method is presented for preparing TiO2 /reduced graphite oxide(RGO) nanocomposites with phase-controlled TiO2 nanoparticles via redox reaction between the reductive titanium(Ⅲ) precursor and graphite oxide(GO),and a series of TiO2 /RGO composites with various TiO2 phase compositions were obtained. In all the titania/RGO composites, the TiO2 nanoparticles were uniformly distributed on the surface of the RGO.The TiO2 consisted of anatase phase particles in the form of square-plates with edges less than 10 nm and the rutile phase nanorods in diameters less than 10 nm.The performances of the as-prepared TiO2 /RGO composites were investigated on catalytically degrading phenol under visible light irradiation. The TiO2 /RGO composites can effectively degrade phenol under visible light irradiation, and the phase composition of TiO2 in the composites significantly influences the activities of these catalysts. | ZHAO YanFei XIE Yun SUN ZhenYu ZHANG HongYe TAO RanTing HUANG ChangLiang LIU ZhiMin | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,7: | 1

Development of aryl-containing dipyrrolyldiketone difluoroboron complexes(BONEPYs):Tune the hydrogen bond o-C—H…F for fluoride recognition显示文摘Dipyrrolyldiketone difluoroboron complexes(BONEPYs)were synthesized by condensation of the corresponding pyrroles and malonyl chloride followed by treatment with BF3·OEt2.The aryl-substituted pyrrole is introduced to form a cyclic system in order to investigate anion binding studies. In BONEPYs 1-3 the o-H of the aryl group forms hydrogen bonding with F to give a more table complex. In contrast, the intramolecular hydrogen-bonded BONEPY endo-4 is more stable than its exo isomer. While adding F,the hydrogen bonds must be broken first to give 4·(3)F.Owing to the electron-rich group(-OMe),the o-H of the phenyl group can hardly interact with F via hydrogen bonding to give the less stable complex4-(5)F.The energy diffe rences between the different conformations were calculated using DFT methods, which is consistent to the experimental observations. | Xin-Dong Jiang Zhumei Shao Changliang Sun Shuai Yue Rong Shang Yohsuke Yamamoto | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,5: | 0
PRMT6 promotes tumorigenicity and cisplatin response of lung cancer through triggering 6PGD/ENO1 mediated cell metabolism显示文摘Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer, including lung cancer. However, the exact underlying mechanism and therapeutic potential are largely unknown. Here we report that protein arginine methyltransferase 6(PRMT6)is highly expressed in lung cancer and is required for cell metabolism, tumorigenicity, and cisplatin response of lung cancer.PRMT6 regulated the oxidative pentose phosphate pathway(PPP)flux and glycolysis pathway in human lung cancer by increasing the activity of 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase(6PGD)and a-enolase(ENO1).Furthermore,PRMT6 methylated R324 of 6PGD to enhancing its activity;while methylation at R9 and R372 of ENO1 promotes formation of active ENO1 dimers and 2-phosphoglycerate(2-PG)binding to ENO1,respectively.Lastly,targeting PRMT6 blocked the oxidative PPP flux, glycolysis pathway, and tumor growth,as well as enhanced the antitumor effects of cisplatin in lung cancer.Together, this study demonstrates that PRMT6 acts as a posttranslational modification(PTM)regulator of glucose metabolism, which leads to the pathogenesis of lung cancer. It was proven that the PRMT6-6PGD/ENO1 regulatory axis is an important determinant of carcinogenesis and may become a promising cancer therapeutic strategy. | Mingming Sun Leilei Li Yujia Niu Yingzhi Wang Qi Yan Fei Xie Yaya Qiao Jiaqi Song Huanran Sun Zhen Li Sizhen Lai Hongkai Chang Han Zhang Jiyan Wang Chenxin Yang Huifang Zhao Junzhen Tan Yanping Li Shuangping Liu Bin Lu Min Liu Guangyao Kong Yujun Zhao Chunze Zhang Shu-Hai Lin Cheng Luo Shuai Zhang Changliang Shan | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,1: | 0
