| 1 | Research on coal staged conversion poly-generation system based on fluidized bed显示文摘A new coal staged conversion poly-generation system combined coal combustion and pyrolysis has been developed for clean and high efficient utilization of coal.Coal is the first pyrolysed in a fluidized pyrolyzer.The pyrolysis gas is then purified and used for chemical product or liquid fuel production.Tar is collected during purification and can be processed to extract high value product and to make liquid fuels by hydro-refining.Semi-coke from the pyrolysis reactor is burned in a circulating fluidized bed(CFB)combustor for heat or power generation.The system can realize coal multiproduct generation and has a great potential to increase coal utilization value.A 1 MW poly-generation system pilot plant and a 12 MW CFB gas,tar,heat and power poly-generation system was erected.The experimental study focused on the two fluidized bed operation and characterization of gas,tar and char yields and compositions.The results showed that the system could operate stable,and produce about 0.12 m^(3)/kg gas with 22 MJ/m^(3)heating value and about 10 wt%tar when using Huainan bituminous coal under pyrolysis temperature between 500 and 600℃.The produced gases were mainly H_(2),CH_(4),CO,CO_(2),C_(2)H_(4),C_(2)H_(6),C_(3)H_(6)and C_(3)H_(8).The CFB combustor can burn semi-coke steadily.The application prospect of the new system was discussed. | Mingjiang Ni Chao Li Mengxiang Fang Qinhui Wang Zhongyang Luo Kefa Cen | 2014 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,1: | 13 |
| 2 | Molar-Tooth Structure from the Mesoproterozoic Wumishan Formation in Lingyuan,Yanshan Region,North China,and Geological Implications显示文摘Although its origin has not yet reached a consensus so far,MTS(Molar-Tooth Structure) has been documented for more than 100 years.Current study reports a discovery of MTS from the Mesoproterozoic Wumishan Formation,Lingyuan,Yanshan Region,North China,and the features and geological implications of MTS are further discussed.Here,straitigraphic horizons of MTS's occurrences show that it was mainly located within the top part of the Wumishan Formation,i.e.,limestone unit.Four kinds of morphology of MTS,i.e.,fine fusiform,debris,ribbon,ptigmatic and nodular(irregular),were recognized and thought to be highly related to the sedimentary environments and facies.Geochemistry of MTS including oxides,trace elements and C,O and Sr isotopes indicates that the horizons of MTS-bearing is of higher Sr/Ba and Ca/Mg ratios,lower positive δ13C and highly negative δ18O values than the adjacent stratigraphic levels of rare MTS.Lithology,morphology and geochemistry of MTS in the Wumishan Formation suggest that MTS occurs mainly in shallow subtidal near the storm wave base,which is typically characterized by warm temperature,oversaturated calcium carbonate seawater and high organic productivity.Furthermore,occasional enrichment of algae bacteria here is more favorable for the calcification of calcium oozes and catalytic for MTS.C isotope composition of the Wumishan Formation and MTS of this study is well correlated with that of the Mesoproterozoic Belt Supergroup,North America and Riphean,Siberia,suggesting that MTS acts as a sedimentary record responding to global changes and is a perfect indicator in Precambrian stratigraphic correlation worldwide. | KUANG Hongwei LIU Yongqing PENG Nan LUO Shunshe LI Jiahua CEN Chao CHEN Mingpei | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1: | 7 |
| 3 | Temporal and Spatial Variations of Abundance of Phycocyaninand Phycoerythrin-Rich Synechococcus in Pearl River Estuary and Adjacent Coastal Area显示文摘Three surveys were carried out in Pearl River Estuary and adjacent coastal area in May, August, and November, 2013, to investigate the temporal and spatial variations of abundance of phycoerythrin-rich Synechococcus(PE-rich SYN) and phycocyanin-rich Synechococcus(PC-rich SYN). The effects of environmental factors on the alternation of the different Synechococcus groups were also elucidated. PE-rich SYN was detected in three surveys, whereas PC-rich SYN was detected in May and August, but not in November. The highest abundances of PE-rich SYN and PC-rich SYN were recorded in August and May, with mean values of 74.17×103 and 189.92×103 cells m L-1, respectively. From May to November, the relative abundance of PE-rich SYN increased, whereas that of PC-rich SYN declined. PE-rich and PC-rich SYN presented similar horizontal distributions with high abundance in the southern estuary in May, and in the western estuary in August. The abundances of PE-rich and PC-rich SYN were high at 27–32℃and salinity of 10–20. PC-rich SYN was not detected at < 24℃, and PC:PE-rich SYN decreased in abundance with salinity increase. When less than 20 mg L-1, suspended particulate matter(SPM) was helpful for Synechococcus growth. PE-rich SYN decreased in abundance when the concentration of dissolved inorganic nitrogen increased in May and November, and the concentration of phosphate increased in November. However, PC-rich SYN abundance and nutrients showed no correlation. | 4 | Association between ADIPOQ gene polymorphisms and the risk of new-onset diabetes mellitus after liver transplantation显示文摘BACKGROUND:New-onset diabetes after transplantation(NODAT) has become one of the major factors that affect the overall survival and long-term life quality in liver transplantation(LT) recipients. Previous studies found that the serum adiponectin concentration of diabetic patients is significantly lower than that of healthy subjects. Adiponectin regulates the blood glucose level by increasing body sensitivity to insulin through various mechanisms. In this study, we aimed to investigate the impact of diabetes related gene polymorphisms on the development of NODAT in liver recipients.METHODS:A total of 256 LT patients in a single-center were selected retrospectively for the study. Genomic DNA was extracted from explanted liver tissues, and tested for twelve diabetes mellitus associated single nucleotide polymorphisms by Sequenom Mass ARRAY. Modified clinical models in predicting NODAT were established and evaluated.RESULTS:The GG genotype of ADIPOQ rs1501299 gene polymorphism was significantly more frequent in NODAT than non-NODAT LT patients(56% vs 39%, P=0.014). Dominant model(GG vs GT+TT, P=0.030) and recessive model(GT+GG vs TT, P=0.005) also confirmed the genotype distribution difference between NODAT and non-NODAT groups. Age(OR=1.048, P=0.004), BMI(OR=1.107, P=0.041), and blood tacrolimus level at 1-month LT(OR=1.170, P=0.003) were clinical independent risk factors of NODAT. | 6 | Association between serumα-L-fucosidase andnon-alcoholic fatty liver disease:Cross-sectional study显示文摘AIM: To explore the association between serum α-Lfucosidase(Af U) and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAf LD).METHODS: A total of 16473 individuals(9456 men and 7017 women) were included in the current study, who presented for a health examination at the first Affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University School of medicine in 2014. The baseline characteristics of the cohort were compared by NAf LD status. Linear regression analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis were applied to assess the risk factors for NAf LD. Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to determine the sensitivity and specificity of Af U in the diagnosis of NAf LD.RESULTS: The prevalence rates of NAf LD and metabolic syndrome(met S) were 38.0% and 25.4%, respectively. The NAf LD group had significantly higher Af U levels than the non-NAf LD group(28.7 ± 7.9 U/L vs 26.0 ± 7.3 U/L, P < 0.001) and the prevalence rate of NAf LD increased with progressively higher serum Af U levels. Af U was positively correlated with met S and its five components: central obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and elevated blood pressure and fasting glucose. Stepwise multiple logistic regression analysis showed that Af U was associated with an increased risk of NAf LD(OR = 1.009, 95%CI: 1.003-1.014, P < 0.001). The best cut-off value of Af U for the diagnosis of NAf LD was 27.5 U/L. The area under the curve(diagnostic efficacy index) was 0.606. The sensitivity and specificity were 54.6% and 61.8%, respectively. | 12 | Investigation of the Evolution Behavior of Light Tar During Bituminous Coal Pyrolysis in a Fluidized Bed Reactor显示文摘The evolution behavior of the light tar fraction of tar during large bituminous coal particle pyrolysis in afluidized bed reactor at 500--900 ℃ was investigated to optimize the industrial process. The coal residence time wasvaried from 30 s to 150 s. The crude tar obtained was distilled and separated into the light fraction and the heavyfraction through an evaporator under conditions of 280 ℃ and 104 Pa. The light tar was subjected to GC-MS analysis,and the 300 main species in each spectrum were determined and analyzed. The experimental results showed that theevolution behavior of the light tar fraction and the heavy tar fraction presented spectacularly different variation trendswith pyrolysis temperature and coal residence time. The molecular weight and number of rings per aromatic com-pound molecule contained in the light tar fraction increased with increasing pyrolysis temperature because of poly-merization. It was also observed that the amount of methyl substituents decreased with an increasing number of ringsper molecule of poly-aromatic ring compounds. | 16 | Comparison and development of advanced machine learning tools to predict nonalcoholic fatty liver disease:An extended study显示文摘Background:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a public health challenge and significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide.Early identification is crucial for disease intervention.We recently proposed a nomogram-based NAFLD prediction model from a large population cohort.We aimed to explore machine learning tools in predicting NAFLD.Methods:A retrospective cross-sectional study was performed on 15315 Chinese subjects(10373 training and 4942 testing sets).Selected clinical and biochemical factors were evaluated by different types of machine learning algorithms to develop and validate seven predictive models.Nine evaluation indicators including area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC),area under the precision-recall curve(AUPRC),accuracy,positive predictive value,sensitivity,F1 score,Matthews correlation coefficient(MCC),specificity and negative prognostic value were applied to compare the performance among the models.The selected clinical and biochemical factors were ranked according to the importance in prediction ability.Results:Totally 4018/10373(38.74%)and 1860/4942(37.64%)subjects had ultrasound-proven NAFLD in the training and testing sets,respectively.Seven machine learning based models were developed and demonstrated good performance in predicting NAFLD.Among these models,the XGBoost model revealed the highest AUROC(0.873),AUPRC(0.810),accuracy(0.795),positive predictive value(0.806),F1 score(0.695),MCC(0.557),specificity(0.909),demonstrating the best prediction ability among the built models.Body mass index was the most valuable indicator to predict NAFLD according to the feature ranking scores.Conclusions:The XGBoost model has the best overall prediction ability for diagnosing NAFLD.The novel machine learning tools provide considerable beneficial potential in NAFLD screening. | Yuan-Xing Liu Xi Liu Chao Cen Xin Li Ji-Min Liu Zhao-Yan Ming Song-Feng Yu Xiao-Feng Tang Lin Zhou Jun Yu Ke-Jie Huang Shu-Sen Zheng | 2021 | Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2021,20,5: | 0 |

| 18 | Is the dinoflagellate Takayama xiamenensis a synonym of Takayama acrotrocha (Kareniaceae, Dinophyceae)?显示文摘The naked dinoflagellate Takayama acrotrocha was identified as responsible for a bloom in Shenzhen Bay,Guangdong,China,in early spring 2021.The identification was confirmed by light,scanning,and transmission electron microscopy and molecular data based on the LSU ribosomal DNA(rDNA)and ITS rDNA sequences.This is the first record of T.acrotrocha bloom in the South China Sea.The sulcus of T.acrotrocha was wide and extended onto the epicone as a short intrusion in general,sometime the intrusion was not apparent and some were finger-like.The apical groove was deeply sigmoid.The nucleus was large,ovoid to cup-shaped and occupied most of the epicone.A large,rounded pyrenoid surrounded by a starch sheath was located at the left side to the centre of the hypocone.Under epifluorescence illumination,a row of large vesicular knobs was observed on the upper border of the cingulum.The intraspecific morphological variabilities in the clonal cultures of T.acrotrocha were investigated carefully.Cells that share the same diagnostic characters used for the description of Takayama xiamenensis such as the finger-like sulcus,a large nucleus located in the epicone and the similar pyrenoid type were observed.The LSU rDNA sequences of T.acrotrocha and T.xiamenensis only differed in 3 base pairs(bp)for a sequence length of 673 bp(with a similarity of 99.55%).For these reasons,we propose T.xiamenensis as a junior synonym of T.acrotrocha. | Songhui LÜ Aimin CHAO Qianyan LIANG Jingyi CEN Jianyan WANG Tao JIANG Si LI | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,6: | 0 |
| 19 | Multiplex CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knockout of soybean LNK2 advances flowering time显示文摘Flowering time is an important agronomic trait for soybean yield and adaptation. However, the genetic basis of soybean adaptation to diverse latitudes is still not clear. Four NIGHT LIGHT-INDUCIBLE AND CLOCK-REGULATED 2(LNK2) homeologs of Arabidopsis thaliana LNK2 were identified in soybean. Three single-guide RNAs were designed for editing the four LNK2 genes. A transgene-free homozygous quadruple mutant of the LNK2 genes was developed using the CRISPR(clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats)/Cas9(CRISPR-associated protein 9). Under long-day(LD) conditions, the quadruple mutant flowered significantly earlier than the wild-type(WT). Quantitative real-time PCR(q RT-PCR)revealed that transcript levels of LNK2 were significantly lower in the quadruple mutant than in the WT under LD conditions. LNK2 promoted the expression of the legume-specific E1 gene and repressed the expression of FT2 a. Genetic markers were developed to identify LNK2 mutants for soybean breeding.These results indicate that CRISPR/Cas9-mediated targeted mutagenesis of four LNK2 genes shortens flowering time in soybean.
