| 1 | Supramolecular adhesive materials from small‐molecule self‐assembly显示文摘Developing high‐performance adhesive materials not only aims at industrial and social requirements but also bears the fundamental importance of understanding the chemical factors of biological adhesion to develop biomimetic adhesive materials.Owing to the wide development of supramolecular chemistry,numerous supramolecular tools are exploited and proved to be reliable in the replacement of traditional covalent materials by reversible noncovalent or dynamic covalent materials.Taking advantage of these readyto‐use supramolecular toolboxes,supramolecular adhesive materials are rising and promising toward“smart”adhesives,that is,enabling responsiveness,reversibility,and recyclability.Compared with polymeric adhesive materials,low‐molecular‐weight adhesives feature chemically precise structure,easier engineering by molecular design,and hence higher reproducibility.However,it remains highly challenging to make high‐performance adhesive materials by low‐molecular‐weight feedstocks.This review will focus on the recent advancement in the construction of supramolecular adhesive materials by smallmolecule self‐assembly.The design guidelines and consideration on the molecular scale will be discussed and summarized on how to enhance the strength of adhesives.Meanwhile,owing to the dynamic nature of supramolecular self‐assembly,several“smart”functions of such materials will be presented,such as stimuli–responsiveness and adaptiveness.Finally,current challenges and future perspectives of this emerging field will be proposed. | Chen‐Yu Shi Qi Zhang He Tian Da‐Hui Qu | 2020 | SmartMat2020，1，1： | 5 |

| 15 | Scale adaptive fitness evaluation‐based particle swarm optimisation for hyperparameter and architecture optimisation in neural networks and deep learning显示文摘Research into automatically searching for an optimal neural network(NN)by optimi-sation algorithms is a significant research topic in deep learning and artificial intelligence.However,this is still challenging due to two issues:Both the hyperparameter and ar-chitecture should be optimised and the optimisation process is computationally expen-sive.To tackle these two issues,this paper focusses on solving the hyperparameter and architecture optimization problem for the NN and proposes a novel light‐weight scale‐adaptive fitness evaluation‐based particle swarm optimisation(SAFE‐PSO)approach.Firstly,the SAFE‐PSO algorithm considers the hyperparameters and architectures together in the optimisation problem and therefore can find their optimal combination for the globally best NN.Secondly,the computational cost can be reduced by using multi‐scale accuracy evaluation methods to evaluate candidates.Thirdly,a stagnation‐based switch strategy is proposed to adaptively switch different evaluation methods to better balance the search performance and computational cost.The SAFE‐PSO algorithm is tested on two widely used datasets:The 10‐category(i.e.,CIFAR10)and the 100−cate-gory(i.e.,CIFAR100).The experimental results show that SAFE‐PSO is very effective and efficient,which can not only find a promising NN automatically but also find a better NN than compared algorithms at the same computational cost. | Ye‐Qun Wang Jian‐Yu Li Chun‐Hua Chen Jun Zhang Zhi‐Hui Zhan | 2023 | CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2023，8，3： | 0 |
| 16 | Glutamate synthase 1 is involved in iron-deficiency response and long-distance transportation in Arabidopsis显示文摘Iron is an essential microelement for plant growth.After uptake from the soil,iron is chelated by ligands and translocated from roots to shoots for sub-sequent utilization.However,the number of ligands in-volved in iron chelation is unclear.In this study,we identified and demonstrated that GLU1,which encodes a ferredoxin-dependent glutamate synthase,was involved in iron homeostasis.First,the expression of GLU1 was strongly induced by iron deficiency condition.Second,lesion of GLU1 results in reduced transcription of many iron-deficiency-responsive genes in roots and shoots.The mutant plants revealed a decreased iron concentration in the shoots,and displayed severe leaf chlorosis under the condition of Fe limitation,compared to wild-type.Third,the product of GLU1,glutamate,could chelate iron in vivo and promote iron transportation.Last,we also found that supplementation of glutamate in the medium can alleviate cadmium toxicity in plants.Overall,our results provide evidence that GLU1 is involved in iron homeo-stasis through affecting glutamate synthesis under iron deficiency conditions in Arabidopsis. | Man Cui Mengjun Gu Yaru Lu Yue Zhang Chunlin Chen Hong‐Qing Ling Huilan Wu | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020，62，12： | 2 |
