Gluconeogenesis during starvation and refeeding phase is affected by previous dietary carbohydrates levels and a glucose stimuli during early life in Siberian sturgeon(Acipenser baerii)显示文摘Gluconeogenesis responses was assessed during a short starvation period and subsequent refeeding in Siberian sturgeon(Acipenser baerii) previously fed different dietary carbohydrates levels and experienced to a glucose stimuli during early life. The sturgeon larvae were previously fed either a high glucose diet(G) or a low glucose diet(F) from the first feeding to yolk absorption(8 to 12 d post-hatching [dph]). Each group of fish was sub-divided into 2 treatments at 13 dph and was fed either a high-carbohydrate diet(H) or a low carbohydrate diet(L) until 20 wk. In the current study, the fish in 4 groups(GL, FL, GH and FH) were experienced to starvation for 21 d following by re-feeding of their corresponding diets for 21 d.Fish were sampled at postprandial 6 and 24 h before starvation(P6 h and P24 h), starvation 7,14 and 21 d(S7, S14 and S21) and 1, 7,14 and 21 d during refeeding(R1, R7, R14 and R21). Plasma samples during refeeding were taken at P6 h at each time point. Glycaemia levels, liver and muscle glycogen contents, activities and mRNA levels of hepatic gluconeogenic enzymes were examined. We found that both dietary carbohydrate levels and early glucose stimuli significantly affected the metabolic responses to starvation and refeeding in Siberian sturgeon(P < 0.05). During prolonged starvation, Siberian sturgeon firstly mobilized the liver glycogen and then improved gluconeogenesis when the dietary carbohydrates were abundant, whereas preserved the liver glycogen stores at a stable level and more effectively promoted gluconeogenesis when the dietary carbohydrates are absent to maintain glucose homoeostasis.During refeeding, as most teleostean, Siberian sturgeon failed controlling the activities and mRNA levels of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase cytosolic forms(PEPCK-C), fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase(FBPase),but particularly controlled phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase mitochondrial forms(PEPCK-M) activities and mRNA expression of glucose-6-phosphatase(G6 Pase, except in GL group). Siberian sturgeon has a full compensatory ability on growth, but this ability would be obstructed by early glucose stimuli when refeeding the low carbohydrate diet after S21.Xiaofang Liang Jia Wang Guan Gong Min Xue Yingchao Dong Xiufeng Wu Xin Wang Chunshan Chen Xufang Liang Yuchang Qin 2017Animal Nutrition2017,,3:8
Effects of coal damage on permeability and gas drainage performance显示文摘Coal permeability is a measure of the ability for fluids to flow through coal structures. It is one of the most important parameters affecting the gas drainage performance in underground coal mines. Despite the extensive research conducted on coal permeability, few studies have considered the effect of coal damage on permeability. This has resulted in unreliable permeability evaluation and prediction. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of coal damage on permeability and gas drainage performance. The Cui-Bustin permeability model was improved by taking into account the impact of coal damage on permeability. The key damage coefficient of the improved permeability model is determined based on the published permeability data. A finite-element numerical simulation was then developed based on the improved permeability model to investigate the damage areas and the permeability distribution around roadway. Results showed that the tensile failure occurs mainly on the upper and lower sides of the roadway while the shear failure symmetrically occurs on the left and right sides. With the increase in the friction angle value, the damage area becomes small. A good agreement was obtained between the results of the improved permeability model(c = 3) and the published permeability data. This indicated a more accurate permeability prediction by the improved permeability model. It is expected that the findings of this study could provide guidance for in-seam gas drainage borehole design and sealing, in order to enhance the gas drainage performance and reduce gas emissions into underground roadways.Zheng Chunshan Mehmet Kizil Chen Zhongwei Saiied Aminossadati 2017International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2017,27,5:6
Analysis on the multi-phase flow characterization in cross-measure borehole during coal hydraulic slotting显示文摘Hydraulic slotting in a gas drainage borehole is an effective method of enhancing gas drainage performance. However, it frequently occurs that a large amount of slotting products(mainly the coal slurry and gas) intensely spurt out of the borehole during the slotting, which adversely affects the slotting efficiency. Despite extensive previous investigations on the mechanism and prevention-device design of the spurt during ordinary borehole drilling, a very few studies has focused on the spurt in the slotting process. The slotting spurt is mainly caused by two reasons: the coal and gas outburst in the borehole and the borehole deslagging blockage. This paper focuses on the second reason, and investigates the hydraulic deslagging flow patterns in the annular space between the drill pipe and borehole wall. Results show that there are six deslagging flow patterns when the drill pipe is still: pure slurry flow, pure gas flow, bubble flow, intermittent flow, layering flow and annular flow. When the drill pipe rotates, each of those six flow patterns changes due to the Taylor vortex effect. Outcomes of this study could help to better understand the slotting-spurt mechanism and provide guidance on the anti-spurt strategies through eliminating the borehole deslagging blockage.Chunshan Zheng Baiquan Lin Mehmet S.Kizil Saiied M.Aminossadati He Li Zhongwei Chen 2018International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2018,28,4:2

A Novel Retrograde AAV Variant for Functional Manipulation of Cortical Projection Neurons in Mice and Monkeys显示文摘Retrograde adeno-associated viruses(AAVs)are capable of infecting the axons of projection neurons and serve as a powerful tool for the anatomical and functional characterization of neural networks. However, few retro-grade AAV capsids have been shown to offer access to cor-tical projection neurons across different species and enable the manipulation of neural function in non-human primates(NHPs).Here,we report the development of a novel retro-grade AAV capsid,AAV-DJ8R,which efficiently labeled cortical projection neurons after local administration into the striatum of mice and macaques. In addition, intrastriatally injected AAV-DJ8R mediated opsin expression in the mouse motor cortex and induced robust behavioral alterations.Moreover,AAV-DJ8R markedly increased motor cortical neuron firing upon optogenetic light stimulation after viral delivery into the macaque putamen. These data demonstrate the usefulness of AAV-DJ8R as an efficient retrograde tracer for cortical projection neurons in rodents and NHPs and indicate its suitability for use in conducting functional interrogations.Yefei Chen Jingyi Wang Jing Liu Jianbang Lin Yunping Lin Jinyao Nie Qi Yue Chunshan Deng Xiaofei Qi Yuantao Li Ji Dai Zhonghua Lu 2024Neuroscience Bulletin2024,40,1:0
Comparative Analysis of Nutritional Components in Muscles between Wild and Cultured Masu Salmon Oncorhynchus masou显示文摘In this paper, approximate nutritional components and amino acid content were determined in muscles of female wild population(WP)with body weight of 2500-3000 g and female cultured population(CP)with body weight of 750-1250 g masu salmon Oncorhynchus masou in the gonadal development stage IV by conventional method. The results showed that there were significantly higher crude protein and significantly lower crude fat in fresh muscle of WP than that in CP(P<0.05),but not significant differences in the contents of moisture and crude ash between WP and CP(P>0.05).Eighteen kinds of amino acids were detected in muscles of WP and CP,with higher total content of amino acids(TAA),essential amino acids(EAA)and four kinds of delicious amino acids(DAA)in WP than those in CP(P<0.05).The amino acid score(AAS)and chemical score(CS)revealed that the first limiting amino acid was tryptophan in two populations, with essential amino acid index(EAAI)of 75.59%in WP and 70.77%in CP.The findings indicated that the amino acid contents in muscles of CP are lower than that of WP,but the amino acid nutritional value evaluation indicators of both populations are very close, and both have high nutritional value.Kai WEI Wei ZHENG Yan GENG Long MA Chunshan CHEN 2021Asian Agricultural Research2021,13,1:0
A novel synthetic method of porous and nanoflower-like Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)catalyst for reduction of SO_(2)to elemental sulfur显示文摘MoS_(2)nanoflowers are favored for their potential in the production of elemental sulfur due to abundant surface area and good catalytic performance for reducing SO_(2).A novel synthetic strategy of porous Al_(2)O_(3)supported on the MoS_(2)with nanoflower structure was proposed. The effects of preparation concentration, calcination atmosphere,Al_(2)O_(3)contents on the growth of catalysts with nanoflower structure were systematically studied via X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET).The surface area was increased to 295.502 m^(2)/g and the amount of Lewis acid on the surface of the Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)catalyst was increased by adjusting the ratio of Al/Mo.The porous and nanoflower structures of Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)catalysts promoted the sulfur selectivity without inhibiting the catalytic performance of MoS_(2).The conversion of SO_(2)and the selectivity of sulfur were 100%and 92%after 100 h life evaluation.Yiqian Yang Jiayuan Yu Yu Chen Gang Wang Chunshan Li Erqiang Wang Zhijian Peng 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
Spatial-temporal Evolution and Influencing Factors of Digital Financial Inclusion: County-level Evidence from China显示文摘The vigorous development of information and communications technology has accelerated reshaping of the financial industry. The COVID-19 pandemic has further catalyzed the demand for digital financial services. Digital financial inclusion relies on information technology to overcome spatial limitations. In this case, the research question is whether it adheres to the spatial laws governing conventional financial activities. This study uses exploratory spatial data analysis and a geographical detector to elucidate the spatiotemporal characteristics and factors influencing digital financial inclusion at the county level in China(Data don’t include that of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China) from 2014 to 2020. The research findings indicate: first, China’s county-level digital financial inclusion is generally increasing and exhibits significant spatial autocorrelation. Second, population density, level of traditional financial development, government regulation, and education level are key determinants of China’s county-level digital financial inclusion. Third, policies should be differentiated by region to narrow the spatial gap in digital financial inclusion. The results provide a reference for other developing countries on using digital technology to develop financial inclusion.ZHANG Guojun CHEN Yu WANG Gengnan ZHOU Chunshan 2023Chinese Geographical Science2023,33,2:0
