| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 2 | Energy-Efficient Multi-UAV Coverage Deployment in UAV Networks:A Game-Theoretic Framework显示文摘UAV cooperative control has been applied in many complex UAV communication networks. It remains challenging to develop UAV cooperative coverage and UAV energy-efficient communication technology. In this paper, we investigate current works about UAV coverage problem and propose a multi-UAV coverage model based on energy-efficient communication. The proposed model is decomposed into two steps: coverage maximization and power control, both are proved to be exact potential games(EPG) and have Nash equilibrium(NE) points. Then the multi-UAV energy-efficient coverage deployment algorithm based on spatial adaptive play(MUECD-SAP) is adopted to perform coverage maximization and power control, which guarantees optimal energy-efficient coverage deployment. | 3 | Effect and safety of acupotomy in treatment of knee osteoarthritis:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of acupotomy in treatment of knee osteoarthritis(OA).METHODS: Extensive literature searches were carried out in PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library(Issue 5, 2017), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, China Science and Technology Journal Database and Wanfang Database. All databases were retrieved from their inception until May 31, 2017.Randomized controlled trials incorporating acupotomy versus intra-articular sodium hyaluronate for knee osteoarthritis were included. According to Cochrane Reviews’ Handbook(5.2), two reviewers screened each article and extracted data independently and were blinded to the findings of each reviewer. Meta-analysis was performed by the Cochrane Collaboration’s RevMan 5.3 software.RESULTS: We identified 12 studies involving 1150 patients aged between 40 and 78 years old. The pooled analysis indicated that acupotomy showed a significant improvement for short-term effect[cure rate: odds ratio(OR) = 2.04, 95% confidence interval(CI)(1.46, 2.85), P < 0.01;total effective rate:OR = 2.25, 95% CI(1.55, 3.28), P < 0.01;pain score:standard mean difference(SMD) =-1.02;95% CI(-1.72,-0.31);P = 0.005;Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Questionnaire(WOMAC) score:SMD =-0.74;95% CI(-1.11,-0.37);P < 0.01];and also for long-term effect [total effective rate:OR = 2.99, 95%CI(1.88, 4.76), Z = 4.64, P < 0.01;pain score: SMD =-1.68;95% CI(-2.14,-1.22);P <0.001;WOMAC score: SMD =-0.91;95% CI(-1.40,-0.41);P < 0.001]. In addition, there was no obvious difference between acupotomy group and control group in adverse events [OR = 2.13, 95% CI(0.14, 32.28), P = 0.58].CONCLUSION: Acupotomy is a safe and effective treatment for KOA. | 4 | miR-125b-5p and miR-99a-5p downregulate human γδ T-cell activation and cytotoxicity显示文摘As an important component of innate immunity,human circulatingγδT cells function in rapid responses to infections and tumorigenesis.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)play a critical regulatory role in multiple biological processes and diseases.Therefore,how the functions of circulating humanγδT cells are regulated by miRNAs merits investigation.In this study,we profiled the miRNA expression patterns in human peripheralγδT cells from 21 healthy donors and identified 14 miRNAs that were differentially expressed between peripheralαβT cells andγδT cells.Of the 14 identified genes,7 miRNAs were downregulated,including miR-150-5p,miR-450a-5p,miR-193b-3p,miR-365a-3p,miR-31-5p,miR-125b-5p and miR-99a-5p,whereas the other 7 miRNAs were upregulated,including miR-34a-5p,miR-16-5p,miR-15b-5p,miR-24-3p,miR-22-3p,miR-22-5p and miR-9-5p,inγδT cells compared withαβT cells.In subsequent functional studies,we found that both miR-125b-5p and miR-99a-5p downregulatedγδT cell activation and cytotoxicity to tumor cells.Overexpression of miR-125b-5p or miR-99a-5p inγδT cells inhibitedγδT cell activation and promotedγδT cell apoptosis.Additionally,miR-125b-5p knockdown facilitated the cytotoxicity ofγδT cells toward tumor cells in vitro by increasing degranulation and secretion of IFN-γand TNF-α.Our findings improve the understanding of the regulatory functions of miRNAs inγδT cell activation and cytotoxicity,which has implications for interventional approaches toγδT cell-mediated cancer therapy. | Yuli Zhu Siya Zhang Zinan Li Huaishan Wang Zhen Li Yu Hu Hui Chen Xuan Zhang Lianxian Cui Jianmin Zhang Wei He | 2019 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,2: | 5 |
| 5 | Diurnal and seasonal variations in carbon fluxes in bamboo forests during the growing season in Zhejiang province, China显示文摘Bamboo forest is an important forest type in subtropical China and is characterized by fast growth and high carbon sequestration capacity. However, the dynamics of carbon fluxes during the fast growing period of bamboo shoots and their correlation with environment factors are poorly understood. We measured carbon dioxide exchange and climate variables using open-path eddy covariance methods during the 2011 growing season in a Moso bamboo forest(MB, Phyllostchys edulis) and a Lei bamboo forest(LB, Phyllostachys violascens) in Zhejiang province,China. The bamboo forests were carbon sinks during the growing season. The minimum diurnal net ecosystem exchange(NEE) at MB and LB sites were-0.64 and-0.66 mg C m^(-2) s^(-1), respectively. The minimum monthly NEE, ecosystem respiration(RE), and gross ecosystem exchange(GEE) were-99.3 ± 4.03, 76.2 ±2.46, and^(-1)91.5 ± 4.98 g C m^(-2) month^(-1), respectively,at MB site, compared with-31.8 ± 3.44, 70.4 ± 1.41,and^(-1)57.9 ± 4.86 g C m^(-2) month^(-1), respectively, at LB site. Maximum RE was 92.1 ± 1.32 g C m^(-2) month^(-1) at MB site and 151.0 ± 2.38 g C m^(-2) month^(-1) at LB site.Key control factors varied by month during the growing season, but across the whole growing season, NEE and GEE at both sites showed similar trends in sensitivities to photosynthetic active radiation and vapor pressure deficit,and air temperature had the strongest correlation with RE at both sites. Carbon fluxes at LB site were more sensitive to soil water content compared to those at MB site. | 6 | Rapid, automated, and reliable antimicrobial susceptibility test from positive blood culture by CAST‐R显示文摘Antimicrobial susceptibility tests(ASTs)are pivotal in combating multidrug resistant pathogens,yet they can be time‐consuming,labor‐intensive,and unstable.Using the AST of tigecycline for sepsis as the main model,here we establish an automated system of Clinical Antimicrobials Susceptibility Test Ramanometry(CAST‐R),based on D2O‐probed Raman microspectroscopy.Featuring a liquid robot for sample pretreatment and a machine learning‐based control scheme for data acquisition and quality control,the 3‐h,automated CAST‐R process accelerates AST by>10‐fold,processes 96 paralleled antibiotic‐exposure reactions,and produces high‐quality Raman spectra.The Expedited Minimal Inhibitory Concentration via Metabolic Activity is proposed as a quantitative and broadly applicable parameter for metabolism‐based AST,which shows 99%essential agreement and 93%categorical agreement with the broth microdilution method(BMD)when tested on 100 Acinetobacter baumannii isolates.Further tests on 26 clinically positive blood samples for eight antimicrobials,including tigecycline,meropenem,ceftazidime,ampicillin/sulbactam,oxacillin,clindamycin,vancomycin,and levofloxacin reveal 93%categorical agreement with BMD‐based results.The automation,speed,reliability,and general applicability of CAST‐R suggest its potential utility for guiding the clinical administration of antimicrobials. | Pengfei Zhu Lihui Ren Ying Zhu Jing Dai Huijie Liu Yuli Mao Yuandong Li Yuehui He Xiaoshan Zheng Rongze Chen Xiaoting Fu Lili Zhang Lijun Sun Yuanqi Zhu Yuetong Ji Bo Ma Yingchun Xu Jian Xu Qiwen Yang | 2022 | mLife2022,1,3: | 3 |
| 7 | Systematic study on the mechanical and electric behaviors of the nonbuckling interconnect design of stretchable electronics显示文摘Recently, we developed a nonbuckling interconnect design that provides an effective approach to simultaneously achieving high elastic stretchability, easiness for encapsulation, and high electric performance for stretchable electronics. This paper aims to systematically study its mechanical and electric behaviors, including comparisons of the nonbuckling and buckling interconnect designs on stretchability, effects of the thickness on electric performance, and modeling and experimental investigations on the finite deformation mechanics. It is found that the results on stretchability depend on the layouts. Long straight segments and small arc radii for nonbuckling interconnects yield an enhancement of stretchability, which is much better than that of buckling designs. On the other hand, shorter straight segments or thicker interconnects are better to lower the resistances of interconnects.Therefore, optimization of the designs needs to balance the requirements of both the mechanical and electric performances. The finite deformation of interconnects during stretching is analyzed. The established analytic model is well validated by both the finite element modeling and experimental investigations. | 8 | Carrier-free highly drug-loaded biomimetic nanosuspensions encapsulated by cancer cell membrane based on homology and active targeting for the treatment of glioma显示文摘Nanosuspensions,as a new drug delivery system for insoluble drugs,are only composed of a drug and a small amount of stabilizer,which is dispersed in an aqueous solution with high drug-loading,small particle size,high dispersion,and large specific surface area.It can significantly improve the dissolution,bioavailability,and efficacy of insoluble drugs.In this study,paclitaxel nanosuspensions((PTX)NS)were prepared by an ultrasonic precipitation method,with the characteristics of simple preparation and easy repetition.With the help of a homologous targeting mechanism,a kind of glioma C6 cancer cell membrane(CCM)-coated(PTX)NS was developed and modified with DWSW peptide to obtain DWSW-CCM-(PTX)NS with the functions of BBB penetration and tumor targeting.The results showed that the cancer cell membrane could effectively camouflage the nanosuspensions so that it was not cleared by the immune system and could cross the blood-brain-barrier(BBB)and selectively target tumor tissues.Cell uptake experiments and in vivo imaging confirmed that the uptake of DWSW-CCM-(PTX)NS by tumor cells and the distribution in intracranial gliomas increased.Cytotoxicity test and in vivo anti-glioma studies showed that DWSW-CCM-(PTX)NS could significantly inhibit the growth of glioma cells and significantly prolong the survival time of glioma-bearing mice.Finally,the cancer cell membrane coating endowed the nanosuspensions with the biological properties of homologous adhesion and immune escape.This study provides an integrated solution for improving the targeting of nanosuspensions and demonstrates the encouraging potential of biomimetic nanosuspensions applicable to tumor therapy. | Yueyue Fan Yuexin Cui Wenyan Hao Mengyu Chen Qianqian Liu Yuli Wang Meiyan Yang Zhiping Li Wei Gong Shiyong Song Yang Yang Chunsheng Gao | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,12: | 3 |

| 10 | Preparation and Characterization of Porous Carbon from Mixed Leaves for High-Performance Supercapacitors显示文摘With the increasing demand of sustainable and eco-friendly resources,it is very attractive to use waste leaves for activated carbon(AC)preparation that can be used in supercapacitors.Considering the practically collected leaves are commonly in mixed nature,and extra efforts are needed to sort these mixtures,we here report the first preparation of AC using mixed leaves from different plants,including Platanus acerifolia(PA),Firmiana platanifolia(FP)and Pistia stratiotes(PS),and compared the results with single leaves-derived AC materials.These leave-derived AC samples were characterized with FESEM,EDS,FTIR and Raman spectroscopy,and electrochemical tests.The AC derived from mixed leaves(PA3FP1PS2AC)showed a good specific capacitance of 246 F·g−1 at 1 A·g−1 in aqueous 3 mol·L^(-1)KOH.This sample further showed the largest specific capacitance of 201 F·g−1 at 5 A·g−1,as compared with the non-mixed AC samples,and a good stability of 100.0%capacitance retention over 1000 cycles.Utilizing mixed leaves for AC preparation is not only demonstrated to be a promising approach of low cost and high-performance AC production for supercapacitor applications,but may also help environmental protection by reducing the invasive species problem. | Xiaoxiang Yang Jie Xu Xin Chen Yuli Lei Lingling Wang Siyu Cheng Yan Li Yuxuan Lu Yupeng Zhu Na Chen | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,2: | 2 |

| 16 | Plasmacytoid dendritic cells promote acute kidney injury by producing interferon-α显示文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI)is a common clinical complication associated with high mortality in patients.Immune cells and cytokines have recently been described to play essential roles in AKI pathogenesis.Plasmacytoid dendritic cells(pDCs)are a unique DC subset that specializes in type Ⅰ interferon(IFN)production.Here,we showed that pDCs rapidly infiltrated the kidney in response to AKI and contributed to kidney damage by producing IFN-α.Deletion of pDCs using DTR^(BDCA2) transgenic(Tg)mice suppressed cisplatin-induced AKI,accompanied by marked reductions in proinflammatory cytokine production,immune cell infiltration and apoptosis in the kidney.In contrast,adoptive transfer of pDCs during AKI exacerbated kidney damage.We further identified IFN-α as the key factor that mediated the functions of pDCs during AKI,as IFN-α neutralization significantly attenuated kidney injury.Furthermore,IFN-α produced by pDCs directly induced the apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells(TECs)in vitro.In addition,our data demonstrated that apoptotic TECs induced the activation of pDCs,which was inhibited in the presence of an apoptosis inhibitor.Furthermore,similar deleterious effects of pDCs were observed in an ischemia reperfusion(IR)-induced AKI model.Clinically,increased expression of IFN-α in kidney biopsies was observed in kidney transplants with AKI.Taken together,the results of our study reveal that pDCs play a detrimental role in AKI via IFN-α. | Bo Deng Yuli Lin Yusheng Chen Shuai Ma Qian Cai Wenji Wang Bingji Li Tingyan Liu Peihui Zhou Rui He Feng Ding | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,1: | 1 |
